Performing value-motivational and personal-semantic functions in the educational process, innovative technologies actualize and develop internal resources of the personality of students, form the necessary competencies that ensure their preparedness to independently solve not only professional tasks, but also various life situations. In modern society, the role of a higher school teacher as a carrier of scientific knowledge is transformed into the role of a coach teacher who focuses the main attention on the development of emotional and cognitive resistance of students to constantly changing conditions; on the formation of the competitiveness of students as future specialists in the modern labor market; on the acquisition of skills to analyze, compare, generalize educational information and apply it in practice; on development of skills for self-education and career growth. In this regard, the purpose of the article is to study the technology of pedagogical coaching in the aspect of new opportunities for developing creative partnerships between all participants in the educational process. The main idea of implementing the technology of pedagogical coaching in higher education is to form students’ ability to set constructive goals, apply the most effective methods for solving professional problems, and develop skills of self-organization and self-development. The mechanisms for implementing the technology of pedagogical coaching do not only complement and expand the personal and social components of professional activity, but also make them more meaningful and rational, which allows optimizing their results in practical activity. The authors conclude that pedagogical coaching in the field of education is a necessary innovative technology capable of concentrating the internal resources of a teacher and students on achieving the intended result and can be considered as an effective mechanism for increasing the creative interaction of all participants in the educational process.

The article discusses the issues of improving the professionalism of a higher education teacher; it also describes activities designed to improve the quality of the educational process, and the role of the leadership of an educational organization in the formation of a teacher. Initial knowledge, skills, abilities and qualities are formed by the teacher in the process of his or her professional activity and during the part of his or her life that precedes work in an educational institution. Professional qualities actively develop only with the beginning of teaching activities. The development of the initiative and the creative search in the work of a teacher is of particular relevance, because improving the quality of training cannot be achieved by simply increasing the working time of teachers and the study time of students. New teaching methods and new techniques for developing the students' creative activity are needed, which would allow them to achieve high results. Moreover, the state’s policy should include real material and moral support for a creatively working teacher of an educational institution, including teachers at higher schools.

The purpose and tasks of the work are to analyze the contemporary Ukrainian mass culture in terms of its value and humanistic components, as well as the importance of cultural studies and Ukrainian studies in educational disciplines for the formation of a holistic worldview of modern youth.Analysis of research and publications. Scientists repeatedly turned to the problems of the role of spirituality in the formation of society and its culture. This problem is highlighted in the publications by O. Losev, V. Lytvyn, D. Likhachev, S. Avierintsev, M. Zakovych, I. Stepanenko and E. Kostyshyn.Experts see the main negative impact of mass culture on the quality approach, which determines mass culture through the market, because mass culture, from our point of view, is everything that is sold and used in mass demand. One of the most interesting studies on this issue was the work by the representatives of Frankfurt School M. Horkheimer and T. Adorno «Dialectics of Enlightenment» (1947), devoted to a detailed analysis of mass culture. Propaganda at all socio-cultural levels in the form is similar in both totalitarian and democratic countries. It is connected, according to the authors, with the direction of European enlightenment. The tendency to unify people is a manifestation of the influence of mass culture, from cinema to pop. Mass culture is a phenomenon whose existence is associated with commerce (accumulation in any form – this is the main feature of education), in general, the fact that it exists in this form is related to the direction of the history of civilization.Modern mass culture, with its externally attractive and easily assimilated ideas and symbols, appealing to the trends of modern fashion, becomes a standard of prestigious consumption, does not require intense reflection, allows you to relax, distract, not teach, but entertains, preaches hedonism as the main spiritual value. And as a consequence, there are socio-cultural risks: an active rejection of other people, which leads to the formation of indifference; cruelty as a character trait; increase of violent and mercenary crime; increase in the number of alcohol and drug addicts; anti-patriotism; indifference to the values of the family and as a result of social orphanhood and prostitution. Conclusions, perspectives of research. Thus, we can conclude that modern Ukrainian education is predominantly formed by the values of mass culture. Namely, according to the «Dialectic» by Horkheimer and Adorno, «semi-enlightenment becomes an objective spirit» of our modern society. It is concluded that only high-quality education can create the opposite of the onset of mass culture and the destruction of spirituality in our society. It is proved that only by realizing the importance of cultivating disciplines in the educational process and the spiritual upbringing of the nation, through educational reforms, humanitarian knowledge will gradually return to student audiences.Formation of youth occurs under the influence of social environment, culture, education and self-education. The optimal combination of these factors determines both the process of socialization itself and how successful it will be. In this context, one can see the leading role of education and upbringing. It turns out that the main task of modern education is to spread its influence on the development of spiritual culture of the individual, which eventually becomes a solid foundation for the formation of the individual. Such a subject requires both philosophical and humanitarian approaches in further integrated interdisciplinary research, since the availability of such research will provide the theoretical foundation for truly modern educational and personal development.

Computer and related technologies, in particular the Internet, are an integral part of our life. In connection with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards to educational organizations, high school teachers need to own competencies related to the use of information and computer technologies (ICT) in their professional activity, and in case of music universities — music and computer technologies. ICT not only simplifies and accelerates many forms of the teachers’ work, but also allows to find new ways of working in the educational process. In particular, interaction with students thanks to ICT becomes real-time even in case of distance learning. In this regard, Internet technologies, particularly cloud services — web sites providing various technical capabilities to users without installing any software — are becoming increasingly important for teachers. A significant feature of such tools is their accessibility from any device and from anywhere with Internet access, so the necessary materials are always available to the teacher and, if needed, to other educational process participants. This article considers some cloud services, which can become effective tools in the professional activities of a high school teacher on group disciplines.

Purpose – The aim of this study is to present an approach for creating an educational process that can affect teacher trainees’ moral resilience, while investigating the manner in which they – as teachers – perceive the concept of moral resilience. Design/methodology/approach – A study questionnaire, designed especially for the current study, was distributed online among trainees in a teacher-training college in Israel and was completed by 123 participants. Findings – Two major themes emerged in trainees’ conceptualizations of the notion of moral resilience: the role of the organisation in which the teaching takes place, and mechanisms that contribute to the development of moral fibre, which creates resilience. Research limitations/implications – The following points should be addressed early on in the teacher-training process: The teaching and acquisition of tools that are fundamental to the development of moral resilience, through cognitive and experiential processes, not only through theoretical study. The construction of a supportive environment will enable students to use their internal resources for coping with events that require mental resilience and which thus serve to develop moral resilience. Originality/value – This paper helps to establish a discourse and develop terminology to implement this subject.

A model of students’ cognitive activity in the context of interaction with the world is presented. The model is based on cognitive and humanistic personality theories. The relevance of the model is confirmed by the need to increase personal activity in society in order to manage problem situations in it. The model includes levels of learning tasks, professional activity imitations and solving real problems, which allows consistent professional and personal development of students. The advantages of this model are the continuous students’ interaction with the world, which increases their social and practical activity, as well as the value of education in a changing world. The model will be able to form the students’ ability to correlate their knowledge and practical experience with problems in reality.
