To investigate the effect of intelligent exercise training equipment on lower limb function and standing stability of stroke patients with hemiplegia in clinical nursing of neurology department. Forty-eight stroke patients with a course of 1 to 3 months were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 24 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional rehabilitation training, and the treatment group was treated with intelligent training system, twice a day, 20 min each time. Lower extremity motor function (using the FMA-L scale) and walking function (using the functional walking scale FAC) were assessed before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment. The results showed that there was no statistical difference between the control group and the treatment group in the t-test of lower limb motor function scores before rehabilitation treatment ( P > 0.05 ). After treatment, the lower extremity motor function scores of the two groups were tested by group design T-test, and the results showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups ( P < 0.05 ); The effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). Intelligent exercise training equipment combined with routine rehabilitation therapy in clinical nursing of neurology department could improve the lower extremity motor function and walking ability of patients with convalescence stroke hemiplegia, and the effect was better than that of routine rehabilitation therapy alone.

Purpose. To observe the effect of a brain-computer interface-operated lower limb rehabilitation robot (BCI-LLRR) on functional recovery from stroke and to explore mechanisms. Methods. Subacute-phase stroke patients were randomly divided into two groups. In addition to the routine intervention, patients in the treatment group trained on the BCI-LLRR and underwent the lower limb pedal training in the control group, both for the same time (30 min/day). All patients underwent assessment by instruments such as the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and the Fugl–Meyer upper and lower limb motor function and balance tests, at 2 and 4 weeks of treatment and at 3 months after the end of treatment. Patients were also tested before treatment and after 4 weeks by leg motor evoked potential (MEP) and diffusion tensor imaging/tractography (DTI/DTT) of the head. Results. After 4 weeks, the Fugl–Meyer leg function and NIHSS scores were significantly improved in the treatment group vs. controls ( P < 0.01 ). At 3 months, further significant improvement was observed. The MEP amplitude and latency of the treatment group were significantly improved vs. controls. The effect of treatment on fractional anisotropy values was not significant. Conclusions. The BCI-LLRR promoted leg functional recovery after stroke and improved activities of daily living, possibly by improving cerebral-cortex excitability and white matter connectivity.

This article explores the effects of myoelectric biofeedback therapy association with rehabilitation training on LLMF in patients with stroke and hemiplegia. Sixty patients with stroke and hemiplegia were separated into the control group and the treatment group. The two groups were disposed neuromedicine drugs and rehabilitation training, while the treatment group also increased the training of the affected side's lower limb electromyography. The same therapist evaluated Fugl-Meyer score (FMA), M-B index (MBI), Berg Balance Scale (BBS), score before and 4 weeks after treatment, and performed statistical analysis. The results showed that the FMA scores, balance ability scores, daily living ability scores, and active range scores of the wrist and stepping joints of the upper and lower limbs after several weeks of treatment in the two groups were better than those in the group before treatment. The scores of the EMG biofeedback treatment group at several weeks were better than the control group of the same period, the difference was statistically significant. EMG Biofeedback Therapy Combined with Comprehensive Rehabilitation Training can effectively improve upper and lower extremity movement, balance function, daily life ability, dorsiflexion of the wrist and dorsiflexion of the step joints after stroke, and the effect is better than that of conventional rehabilitation therapy.

Objective. This paper uses an optimized registration algorithm to analyze the diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) scan parameters of acute ischemic stroke (AIS) in the memory function of stroke patients under exercise relearning (MRP). Methods. This study used a random case-control study. 65 patients with stroke and hemiplegia were randomly divided into a control group: conventional rehabilitation intervention (32 cases), and a treatment group: MRP (33 cases). Each patient uses 4 parameters for DWI examination and obtains 4 sets of images, group 1 is the control sequence, group 2 uses parallel acquisition technology, group 3 uses parallel acquisition technology and reduces the number of excitations, group 4 uses parallel acquisition technology to reduce repetition time (TR) and echo time (TE) and enlarge the field of view, and the scan time of each group is 177, 81, 23, and 18 s in sequence. At the time of enrollment and after 12 weeks of treatment, patients in each group were evaluated with Fugl-Meyer motor function score (FMA) and modified Pap index (MBI) for hand and wrist motor function and ADL. Results. After treatment, the FMA and MBI values of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. By adopting a parallel acquisition technique and reducing the number of excitations (group 3) scanning scheme, not only the scanning time is significantly shortened, but also the image quality can meet the diagnostic requirements, which has great application value for AIS patients who need emergency treatment. MRP can obviously promote the hand and wrist motor function and daily living ability of stroke hemiplegic patients.

Recovery of lower extremity (LE) function in chronic stroke patients is considered a barrier to community reintegration. An adequate training program is required to improve neural and functional performance of the affected LE in chronic stroke patients. The current study aimed to evaluate the effect of somatosensory rehabilitation on neural and functional recovery of LE in stroke patients. Thirty male and female patients were recruited and randomized to equal groups: control group (GI) and intervention group (GII). All patients were matched for age, duration of stroke, and degree of motor impairment of the affected LE. Both groups received standard program of physical therapy in addition to somatosensory rehabilitation for GII. The duration of treatment for both groups was eight consecutive weeks. Outcome measures used were Functional Independent Measure (FIM) and Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG), obtained pre- and post-treatment. A significant improvement was found in the FIM scores of the intervention group (GII), as compared to the control group (GI) (p < 0.001). Additionally, QEEG scores improved within the intervention group post-treatment. QEEG scores did not improve within the control group post-treatment, except for “Cz-AR”, compared to pretreatment, with no significant difference between groups. Adding somatosensory training to standard physical therapy program results in better improvement of neuromuscular control of LE function in chronic stroke patients.
