Objective: To study the clinical nursing effect of early rehabilitation nursing on stroke patients with hemiplegia in neurology department. Methods: Stroke patients with hemiplegia treated in our hospital from March 2018 to March 2020 were selected for the present study. Twenty patients in each group were divided into two groups by random number table method, either in experimental group or control group. Routine nursing was used in the control group, while early rehabilitation nursing was carried out in the experimental group. The clinical nursing effect of the two groups of patients was compared. Results: After nursing, the neurological function of the patients was significantly improved (P < 0.05), the improvement of the experimental group was better than that of the control group (P < 0.01), the daily activities of the patients in the experimental group were significantly improved, and the score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). After nursing, anxiety and depression scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05), and the recovery of limb function in the experimental group was better than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The implementation of early rehabilitation nursing measures plays an important role in the recovery of stroke patients with hemiplegia by promoting the recovery of neurological function, improving the psychological state of patients, and promoting the recovery of limbs.

Abstract Purpose to study the application of path type early rehabilitation nursing in the nursing of patients with cerebral infarction and to explore its impact on the recovery of neurological function. Methods Patients with acute cerebral infarction in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups. The control group used conventional treatment methods. The experimental group used path type early rehabilitation care based on conventional treatment methods and observed the curative effect. ResultsThe NIHSS scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the P value was less than 0.05, which was statistically significant. Conclusion Path type early rehabilitation nursing has a positive effect on the treatment of patients with cerebral infarction, which contributes to the recovery of neurological function of patients and is worthy of promotion in treatment.

To investigate the effect of intelligent exercise training equipment on lower limb function and standing stability of stroke patients with hemiplegia in clinical nursing of neurology department. Forty-eight stroke patients with a course of 1 to 3 months were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 24 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional rehabilitation training, and the treatment group was treated with intelligent training system, twice a day, 20 min each time. Lower extremity motor function (using the FMA-L scale) and walking function (using the functional walking scale FAC) were assessed before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment. The results showed that there was no statistical difference between the control group and the treatment group in the t-test of lower limb motor function scores before rehabilitation treatment ( P > 0.05 ). After treatment, the lower extremity motor function scores of the two groups were tested by group design T-test, and the results showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups ( P < 0.05 ); The effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). Intelligent exercise training equipment combined with routine rehabilitation therapy in clinical nursing of neurology department could improve the lower extremity motor function and walking ability of patients with convalescence stroke hemiplegia, and the effect was better than that of routine rehabilitation therapy alone.

Objective: To analyze and study the effect of continuous nursing mode for continuous peritoneal dialysis nursing. Methods: 40 patients with continuous peritoneal dialysis received in our hospital were randomly selected as the research object. The research time was from June 2018 to June 2020. The patients were divided into two groups by random number table method. The patients with routine nursing mode were named as the control group and the patients with continuous nursing mode were named as the observation group (20 cases in each group). The clinical nursing effects of different nursing modes are compared. Results: After nursing, the nursing compliance of the observation group was 95%, which was higher than 70% of the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). Comparing the blood routine related indexes of the two groups, the blood potassium, hemoglobin, serum creatinine and carbon dioxide binding force of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The incidence of peritonitis and rehospitalization rate in half a year in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The continuous nursing model for patients undergoing continuous peritoneal dialysis can improve the treatment effect of patients, significantly improve the compliance of patients, significantly improve the serological indexes, promote the health of patients, reduce the incidence of peritonitis, and significantly reduce the rehospitalization rate in half a year. It has a broad prospect of clinical promotion.

Introduction:Psychological impact of Therapeutic Patient Education (TPE) for dialysis patients is rarely evaluated since the focus of many studies is on medical variables (i.e., adherence).Objectives:The aims of this study were: 1) to estimate the impact of a TPE program on knowledge, depression and anxiety, 2) to examine change in knowledge as a mediator of the effects of a TPE program on mental health.Method:This study was conducted in three hemodialysis units and comprised two groups: an experimental group with education and a control group with routine care. The program was based of 5 educative sessions. Knowledge, depressive and anxious symptoms were assessed with self-reported outcomes measured before and 3 months after the program.Results:The sample comprised 125 patients. Knowledge about vascular access and nutrition (p < 0.01) and depressive symptoms increased in the experimental group (p < 0.01). Analysis of mediation showed that changes in knowledge about vascular access were a significant mediator of the effects of the program on depressive symptoms (F = 4.90;p = 0.01).Discussion:Knowledge acquired during an educational program could lead to an emotional change. Improving knowledge often leads to an awareness of the risks that can modify the psychological state of patients by reminding them of their vulnerability. This study shows that it is required to be attentive to the way of transmitting knowledge. It’s necessary adapting this transmission to the needs of patients and promoting the acquisition of psychosocial competence too.Conclusion:This study shows that knowledge acquired during an educational program can lead to an emotional change in the short term. A long-term follow-up of the population should be interesting to observe these emotional effects.

Abstract Background Minimally invasive surgery has achieved good results in the treatment of cerebral haemorrhage.However, no large-scale clinical study has demonstrated that surgical treatment of cerebral haemorrhages less than 30 ml can improve the curative effect. Our study explored the efficacy and complication of stereotactic drainage based on the amount of cerebral hemorrhage (15-30 ml) in hypertensive basal ganglia. Method Sixty patients with hypertensive basal ganglia haemorrhages were divided into a control group and an experimental group with 30 patients in each group. Patients in the control group were treated conservatively. In contrast, those in the experimental group received stereotactic drainage, and urokinase was injected into the haematoma cavity after the operation. The haematoma volume at admission and 1, 3, 7 and 30 days after treatment and National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS) score data were recorded. Complications after treatment in the two groups of data were compared and analysed. Result No significant differences in age, sex, time of treatment after onset, admission blood pressure, admission haematoma volume or admission NIHSS score were noted between these two groups (P > 0.05). After treatment, significant differences in haematoma volume were noted between the two groups on the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 30th days after treatment (P < 0.05). The amount of hematoma of patients in the experimental group was significantly reduced compared with that in the control group, and the NIHSS scores were significantly different on the 3rd, 7th and 30th days after treatment. The neurological deficit scores of patients in the experimental group were significantly reduced compared with those in the control group, and the incidence of pulmonary infection and venous thrombosis in the lower limbs of patients in the experimental group were significantly reduced (P < 0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that stereotactic drainage affected the early neurological function of patients with small and medium basal ganglia haemorrhages. Conclusion For patients with small and medium basal ganglia haemorrhages, stereotactic drainage can be used due to the faster drainage speed of haematomas after operation, which is beneficial to the recovery of neurological function and reduce complications.

BackgroundWhilst there is evidence to suggest paramedics experience significant stress when working in the ambulance setting little is known about the experiences of first year paramedic students. This research aimed to: (i) identify whether levels of stress, anxiety and depression experienced by first year paramedic students changed after ambulance placement compared to a control group, and (ii) identify the main perceived and actual sources of stress around ambulance placement.MethodsA before-and-after quasi-experimental design was used to compare whether the experience of ambulance placement altered the levels of stress, anxiety and depression in an experimental group that attended an ambulance placement (n = 20) and the control group who did not (n = 10). Online surveys encompassing the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) and qualitative questions about sources of stress were concurrently deployed to both the experimental and control groups before and after the ambulance placement. Participants were first year paramedic students working in Queensland Ambulance Service, Australia.ResultsThere was a significant reduction in levels of stress in participants after undertaking their first ambulance placement (Mdn = -4.00) when compared to a control group (Mdn = 0.00), U = 52.5, p = .035, n2 = 0.15. Responses to survey questions suggest anticipation about experiencing death and dying of patients was the most frequently reported stressor of student paramedics before undertaking ambulance placements, however insecurity about knowledge, competence and fear of failure was the most frequently experienced stressor reported after completing ambulance placements.ConclusionsThe findings from this study suggest that the fear of the unknown may be worse than the reality. Anticipatory stress is the foremost problem for first year paramedic students attending their first ambulance placement. Placement pre-briefing should focus on educational interventions to build knowledge and skills competency to reduce stress levels and fear of failure.

This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Cooperative Problem-Based Learning (CPBL) Model in Learning Statics. The experimental class's research method was experimental, in which the experimental class was applied with the CPBL model, and the control class was applied with conventional models. A simple random sample carried out sampling for the experimental group and the control group. The instrument used was the learning outcomes test. The findings show that the experimental group's student learning outcomes are better than those of the control group. Thus, there is an increase in learning outcomes, and student effective results on the CPBL model in statics learning are in a very good category. It is concluded that the application of the CPBL model is more effective than conventional learning.

ABSTRACTObjectiveThe main objective of this study was to use the principles of cognitive load theory to design a curriculum that incorporates a progressive part practice approach to teaching ultrasound-guided (USG) internal jugular catheterization (IJC) to novices. A secondary objective was to compare the technical proficiency of residents trained using this curriculum with the technical proficiency of residents trained with the current local standard of a single simulation session.MethodsThe experimental group included 16 residents who attended three 2-hour sessions of progressive part practice in a simulation lab. The control group included 46 residents who attended the current local standard of a single 2-hour simulation session just prior to their intensive care unit rotation. Technical proficiency was assessed using hand motion analysis and time to procedure completion.ResultsAfter three sessions, median scores for right hand motion (RHM) (34.5; [27.0-49.0]), left hand motion (LHM) (35.5; [20.0-45.0]), and total time (TT) (117.0 s; [82.7-140.0]) in the experimental group were significantly better than the control group (p<0.001). Results for eight experimental group residents who were assessed for retention at a later date revealed median scores for RHM (45.0; [32.0-58.0]), LHM (33.5; [20.0-63.0]), and TT (150.0 s; [103.0-399.6]), which were significantly better than those of the control group (p=0.01, p<0.01, and p=0.02, respectively).ConclusionThese results support multiple sessions of progressive part practice in a simulation lab as an effective competency-based approach to teaching USG IJC in preparation for the clinical setting.

The research uses factorial design, aims to find out the effect of discovery method on the analogy achievement and mathematical generalization of students of SMKN 1 Sakra. The population of this study was all students of SMKN 1 Sakra, and the research sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique, namely by looking for class XII students, two classes to be sampled. This study consisted of two groups, namely learning the discovery method and the expository method. Class XII.A was made as an experimental group, while class XII.B was made as a control group. Each class consists of 36 students who are divided into three different abilities of students, namely high achievers, medium achievers and low grade students. Research data were collected through tests, questionnaires, observations and interviews. The results of this study are an increase in the ability of mathematical analogies of students who obtain learning using the discovery method better than students who obtain the expository method.

This research describes the differences of student’s learning with the application of cooperative learning type make a match in the electrolyte and non-electrolyte at the X grade student’s of the Madrasah Aliya DDI Lonja. This research used quasi experimental with non randomized pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted with two groups: XA as the experimental (n=21) XB as the control group (n=18). The data findings means score of experimental group (X1) is 70,5 with the standard deviation 9,6 and the control group (X2) is 62.0 with the standard deviation is 6. Based on the results, the researcher concludes cooperative learning type make a match has better than control class that used conventional learning model.
