<span lang="EN-US">Personality is a silent sedentary nature, which affects the attitudes and behavior of every individual. For a teacher, personality will appear as a hidden curriculum, which affects how to teach and educate. This phenomenological research aimed to interpret the characteristics of effective teachers’ personality in strengthening character education. The participants in this study were 17 elementary, secondary, and high school teachers from nine districts in Indonesia. This participant was selected using purposive sampling technique (teachers who have more than 10 years of teaching experience). Data collection was carried out by interview. Qualitative data analysis was performed using the ATLAS.ti software. The data analysis stages in this study were data coding, data classification, and data interpretation. This study found 12 personality characteristics of teachers that are effective in strengthening character education, include able to behave as friends, able to be roles model, able to understand lessons, discipline, respectful of students, treat students impartially in terms of sanctions, patient, relaxed, willing to pursue life-long learning, master the skill of educating character, not known as fierce teachers, and perceived as joyful teachers. The effective teacher personality can provide understanding and improvement of character education in schools.</span>

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of character education on students' learning motivation at State Elementary School 019 Sungai Beringin, Tembilahan Indragiri Hilir Riau Indonesia. This research used a quantitative approach. A total of 74 students were selected to participate in this study using the proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used was a simple regression test. Based on the results of data analysis on variable X, namely Character Education, it was found that 73.69% was categorized as strong. Then, based on the results of data analysis of variable Y, namely Student Learning Motivation, it was found that 77.39% was also categorized as strong. While the effect of character education on student learning motivation obtained Fcount ≥ Ftable = 20.92 ≥ 3.97, so Ho is rejected, which means that there was a positive and significant influence between character education on student learning motivation

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh komunikasi persuasif personal sales terhadap perubahan sikap konsumen dalam proses keputusan pembelian Al-Quran Miracle the Reference E-Pen. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini model Instrumental Theory of Persuasion yang memperhitungkan faktor-faktor komunikator dan pesan, intervening process, dan perubahan sikap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei eksplanatori. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan responden sejumlah 86 orang, lalu kemudian dilakukan proportionate random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur, setelah sebelumnya dilakukan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa unsur-unsur dalam komunikasi persuasif yakni komunikator dan pesan terbukti memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap perubahan sikap konsumen yang terdiri dari perubahan kognisi, afeksi, dan konasi dalam proses keputusan pembelian. Pengaruh pesan terbukti memimiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap perubahan sikap tersebut dibandingkan komunikator. Faktor-faktor intervening yakni perhatian, pemahaman, dan penerimaan turut memberi andil dalam memberi pengaruh tersebut. AbstractThis research is focusing on how the effect of personal salespersons' persuasive communication on consumers' behaviour change in the decision process of buying Al-Quran Miracle the Reference E-Pen. The theory used in this research is the Instrumental Theory of Persuasion model that reckons the communicator and message factors, intervening process, and behavior change. The method used in this research is explanatory survey. Sampling technique uses 86 respondents, succeeded by proportionate random sampling. The data analysis technique used is path analysis following the validity test and reability test. The output of the research shows that elements in persuasive communication namely communicator and message are proven to have significant effect on the consumers‟ behavior, which consists the cognition, affection, and conation change in the decision process of buying. The message effect is proven to be greater than the communicator effect. The intervening factors namely attention, comprehension, and acceptance also contribute in giving the effect.

This study investigated the EFL teachers’ perception and practices of reflection in teaching. The study was conducted through qualitative method by purposive sampling technique. The data were collected through semi-structured interview, and documentation from seven EFL Junior High School teachers in Makassar. The results of the study showed that the EFL teachers perceived reflective practice mainly as an evaluative process to their teaching experience. They all believed that reflective practice was one of the effective teacher characteristics and useful for increasing the quality of teaching and learning. Their reflections were mostly at descriptive and dialogic level. Inadequate knowledge and workload were identified by the EFL teachers as the challenges to reflection.

Interpersonal communication is fairly effective in telling, giving opinions or changing a person's behavior, because communication is reciprocal and the response from the communicant can be known directly. The purpose of this study was to determine the interpersonal communication processes and strategies between kiai and santri in instilling moral moral values in the Al-Mustaqim Islamic Boarding School of Bugel's son. This type is qualitative research w ith a hermeneutic phenomenology approach. The subjects of this study were kiai, administrators and students of the Islamic Boarding School Al-Mustaqim, the son of Bugel whose samples were taken through a snowball sampling technique. While the object is the process and interpersonal communication strategy. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, documentation, interviewing and then the data is analyzed by data analysis methods, data reduction , data coding and data analysis. The results of this study are interpersonal communication processes and strategies carried out between kiai and santri in instilling akhlakul karimah values in Al-Mustaqim Islamic Boarding School in Bugel Village, namely direct communication with two forms of processes, namely the process of interpersonal communication in the session pengajian (through sorogan recitation method in dyadic communication and bandongan in small group communication) and non-recitation interpersonal communication process in (1) Boarding School Management Consultation: (2) Development of santri: (3) Special consultation. And interpersonal communication strategies, namely: (1) Dangled Carrot Strategy: (2) Dependent Sword Strategy.

Basic physics practicum learning through virtual laboratories is less than optimal in developing students' science process skills. This study reveals the results of improving students' science process skills based on the application of computer scaffolding assisted by PhET simulation. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 14 students through purposive sampling technique. The research stages consist of introduction, implementation, and evaluation. Collecting data through interviews, tests, and observations. Data analysis using the N-gain test. The results showed an increase in students' science process skills on several indicators with various categories. The indicator is observing 0.49 (medium category), formulating hypotheses 0.34 (medium category), carrying out experiments 0.39 (medium category), data interpretation and analysis 0.42 (medium category), communicating 0.33 (medium category), and concluded 0.29 (low category). Computer-based scaffolding with PhET simulation is an online learning solution that can also be collaborated with offline learning to improve students' science process skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of (1) behavior on agent work performance (2) the influence of communication on the work performance of agents (3) the influence of behavior and communication simultaneously on the work performance of agents at PT. Allianz Insurance Merauke Branch. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling where all populations were sampled, namely 63 customers. Data analysis techniques used to solve the problems in this study were using multiple linear regression analysis. For significant tests with r test and test f. The results showed that the behavior had a positive and significant effect on agent work performance, communication had a positive and significant effect on the agent's work performance and behavior and communication also had a positive and significant effect on the agent's work performance.   Keywords: Behavior, Communication, Work Performance.

This research is a qualitative-quantitative descriptive to examine the comparison the level of green attitude, attention and behavior between government employees and the private sector. This research was conducted in South Kalimantan province from October 2018 to June 2019 using sample as many as 334 respondents consisting of 163 government employees and 171 private employees. These sample were taken by purposive sampling technique and using a questionnaire as an instrument. The data analysis technique is done by using (1) Descriptive qualitative analysis to describe the distribution of respondents (2) Compare means analysis to see the green attitude level, attention and behavior of each type of work (3) Kolmogrov-Smirnov Test to see the differences between the level of green attitude, attention and behavior of government and private employees and (3) Stuctural Equation Model to obtain a models which can be used to explained relationships between green attitude, attention and behavior.

Character education is a system of planting character values to school citizens which includes the components of knowledge, awareness or willingness, and actions to implement these values, both to God Almighty, oneself, others, environment, and nationality so that we become human beings. In character education in schools, all components (stakeholders) must be involved, including the components of education itself, namely curriculum content, learning and assessment processes, quality of relationships, handling or management of subjects, school management, implementation of co-curricular activities or activities , empowering infrastructure, funding, and work ethics for all residents and the school environment. The focus of this research was the planning, implementation, and evaluation of humanistic character education curriculum. The approach of this research was a qualitative approach. The research model in accordance with this study was naturalistic phenomenology. For the determination of informants, purposive sampling technique was used. Research instruments or tools are the researchers themselves. The data collection of this study used four techniques, namely: in-depth interviews, participant observation, documentation studies, and triangulation. Data analysis uses steps namely; data reduction, data presentation, and data analysis

A person's personality develops due to the influence of innate personality and the environment, in Javanese local languages affect the development of personality and ethics in behavior. The purpose of this paper is to describe the role of regional languages in the development of personality and behavior of Javanese tribal people. The research method used is a case study, by utilizing data obtained through qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that good personality traits can be formed through the use of good regional languages. The benefits of research are as the basis of a corroborating theory for character education through Javanese language.

This study aims to understand the influence of teacher personality on teacher attitudes toward inclusive education. The variables studied were the big five personalities as an independent variable (X) and teacher attitudes toward inclusive education as a dependent variable (Y). The method used is quantitative research, with cluster sampling technique. Participants of this study were teachers from inclusion public elementary school in Jakarta (N = 133). The instrument used to measure teacher personality is Big Five Inventory (BFI), while Multidimensional Attitudes toward Inclusive Education Scale (MATIES) was used to measure teacher attitudes toward inclusive education. Processing methods of data analysis in hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis. Results of this study showed there is no influence of teacher personality on teacher attitudes toward inclusive education (p < α; 0,113 < 0,05). Therefore, in this study Ho is accepted and Ha rejected.
