This paper presents an intelligent-based macroergonomic approach to integration of Manufacturing System, Organization, Information Subsystem and Human Resources. The purpose of this approach is to aid in planning and evaluation of the overall design quality of the IMS systems from the macroergonomic point of view. The proposed method can be used to evaluate the overall design quality of the IMS system prior to implementation, or to evaluate an existing IMS system, to compare alternative IMS system designs, and to do “what-if” type analysis about the effect of system improvements on the quality of integration between technology, organization and people.

Kaizen is a practice of continuous improvements in manufacturing, assembly, quality and engineering. In this paper author have discussed the problems faced by a leading automobile manufacturing organization on quality of interior parts of the automobile like plastics and rubber. During study author used a new technique called “Global Customer Audit” which is basically a vehicle audit from final customer point of view for interior parts of automobiles. During this audit, author has observed various defects and by using different quality control tools like pareto charts, histograms, check sheets and arranged defects according to their intensity or magnitude of occurrence i.e. finding useful one from trivial many. In this paper, the author found the root cause of defects by using different quality control tools. Kaizen is done to remove these defects and continuously improve products and production processes. Kaizen helps in making manufacturing process leaner, simple and fitter. The main purpose of this paper is to discuss the concept of Kaizen, its application in case organization for solving problems raising big quality concerns on a day to day bases.

A questionnaire was designed and analyzed. It expresses the level of Islamic behavior through its four domains related to its ethical system represented in behavior towards the Almighty God, towards the self, and towards others. Its dimensions were chosen through politeness with God Almighty, integrity, humility, and environmental behavior, within the framework of three main axes that are the work environment, the personal environment and Islamic behavior training. The quality of human resources performance has been measured through the dimensions of the ServQual scale, which expresses the quality of performance. The SPSS program was used to analyze the respondents' estimates. This research clarifies the Islamic view on the necessity to balance behavior and not to contradict it between the work environment, and the personal environment, and the importance of behavioral training. It also points out the need to work on standards of behavior in order to focus on improving performance. This paper attempts to provide a measure to verify the level of quality of performance, and the level of Islamic behavior in line with Islam in its behavioral view that stresses the homogeneity of behavior in the workplace, the personal environment, and behavioral training. This measure will support the civilized view of Islam and its institutions and alleviate Islamophobia.

Abstract. Indonesian Government has increased the quality of their education. One of their efforts is by providing School Operational Funding. However, there is a lack of supervision in managing the funding. BPK, BPKP, Inspectorate of North Sulawesi Province and the city of Kotamobagu had not yet conducted any audit on the fundings from 2012 to 2016. BPK has only monitored or controlled the funding whether they are genuinely transferred from central government to School Education Unit and to each school in City of Kotamobagu. From the supervising point of view, nor has School Committee implemented their supervising functions sufficiently. Therefore, this research is intended to investigate such phenomena. This is a qualitative exploratory research. Data were collected by in-depth interviews and document analysis. Data were validated by triangulations: researchers, theory and sources of data. Findings indicate that there are some constraints in managing BOS: supervision, human resources, communication and bureaucracy structure. Those four factors are crucial in relation to manage the funding complying with regulations.       Keywords:  School Operational Funding Management, Supervision, Human Resources, Communication and Bureaucracy StructureAbstrak.

Design quality has many definitions according to the field being considered. In the construction industry, the term design quality can be defined as the ideal design that satisfies all the project parties in terms of cost, time, and material specification and so on. Design quality measurement is considered from the point of view of complex tasks in the construction industry because of the differences in the stakeholders’ opinions regarding each item in the design such as whether is it safe, comfortable, attractive in style. etc. This paper compares the design quality of two types of school buildings in Iraq and uses the design quality indicator toolkit DQI which was developed by Gann et al. [1]. The results show that the design quality for the closed school building was superior to that of the U-shape building in many aspects.
