The purpose of this study was to know the relationship between student perception towards mathematics teacher with mathematics academic performace. The population of the study were all students of class VIII SMPN 8 Cirebon in the academic year 2014/2015, with the number of students 287 people. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling, and the sample size was 56 students. Data collection techniques used: 1) Questionnaire of Perceptions towards Mathematics teacher, and 2) The results of student mathematics learning test. The result of correlation analysis show no significant correlation between students perception towards teacher and academic performance (r= .155, p= .254).

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran yang dibandingkan adalah PBL dan kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimental dan populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di Kabupaten Nganjuk pada tahun akademik 2016/2017. Ukuran sampel adalah 68 siswa, yang terambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah tes prestasi matematika. Uji hipotesis menggunakan varian uji rerata z. Hasil penelitian tersebut adalah sebagai berikut. Prestasi belajar matematika yang diajarkan oleh Problem Based Learning dan Snowball Throwing menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang sama. kata kunci : Problem Based Learning, kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing dan prestasi belajar. Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of learning models on student achievement. The compared learning model is PBL and cooperative type Snowball Throwing. The type of research is quasi experimental research and the population of this research is the students of class VIII in Nganjuk Regency in academic year 2016/2017. The sample size was 68 students, taken with cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection is a mathematics achievement test. Hypothesis test using the mean test variant z. The results of the study are as follows. Mathematics learning achievement taught by Problem Based Learning and Snowball Throwing resulted in the same learning achievement keyword : Problem Based Learning, Snowball Throwing and Achievement.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, jumlah siswa yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu, kuisioner kecerdasan emosional dan dokumentasi prestasi belajar dari nilai rapor. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi r = 0,417. Nilai rtabel = 0,297 untuk N = 44 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai rhitung (0,417) > rtabel (0,297) maka diputuskan menerima hipotesis alternatif (H1) dan menolak hipotesis awal (H0). Artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Prestasi Belajar Matematika The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. The population of this study is all students of VIII grade at SMP Negeri 8 Palu consisting of 5 classes. The sample was obtained by using random sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 44 students. The data collection used two instruments, namely, emotional intelligence questionnaire and documentation of learning achievement from the report card. The results of data analysis using product moment correlation test obtained correlation value r = 0.417. Value of rtable = 0,297 for N = 44 with significance level 5%. The value of rcount (0.417)> rtable (0.297) then decided to accept the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the initial hypothesis (H0). This means there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Adolescence is a unique time in the phase of teenage life, where a person who has entered adolescence has a unique characteristic. With these distinctive characters, teenagers are required to be able to adjust well to the surrounding individuals. However, not all teenagers have a good adjustment. This has become one of the obstacles in the lives of teenagers to lead a healthy life. One other obstacle is the problem of emotional maturity, because there are still many teenagers who do not have good emotional maturity. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and adjustment at SMPN 19 Surabaya. The study population was all students of class VIII, totaling 261 people and a sample of 106 students. The sampling technique used in this study is non random sampling with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires arranged on a Likert scale. The study showed very significant results, where the value of r = 0.809 with p = 0.000 (p <0.010). This means that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Emotional maturity has a very significant relationship with adapting to adolescents at SMPN 19 Surabaya

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the ELPSA (Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbols, Application) learning design in terms of the mathematics learning outcomes at VIII grade student of SMPN 1 Utan on the material relations and functions in the academic year 2020/2021. The type of this research is experimental research with posttest only design. The research was conducted in 4 meetings with 3 meetings for the learning process using all ELPSA components and 1 meeting for the implementation of the posttest. The samples were determined by using cluster random sampling technique. The sample is class VIII-1A as an experimental class which is given treatment using the ELPSA learning design. Data collection using observation and test techniques. Instruments include: observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. Learning outcome data is used to find out how far students understand the material being taught and observation data is used to determine the implementation of learning which is analyzed descriptively. Indicators of the effectiveness of the ELPSA learning design, namely if student learning outcomes with a percentage of classical learning completeness of ≥85%. The results showed that there were 14 students who had completed their studies or equal to 87,50% and 2 students who did not complete their studies or 12,50% with an average grade obtained of 82,38. The results of observations of student with active criteria with a percentage of 74% and teacher activities with good criteria with a percentage of 71%.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif (Descriptive Research). Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 34 orang peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada materi lingkaran. Berdasarkan hasil deskriptif hasil belajar matematika peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi lebih meningkat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata hasil nilai LKPD menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yaitu 89,63 dan rata-rata nilai tes yaitu 84,56.Kata Kunci : Deskriptif, Hasil Belajar Belajar, Problem Based LearningABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to describe the results of learning mathematics students VIII grade SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu with Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. Descriptively, the purpose of this research is to know the tendency of creativity, numerical ability, the students’attitude in mathematics and achievement of the students. Correlatively, the purpose is to determine the relationship between creativity, numerical ability, the students’attitude in mathematics with the achievement matematics of the students. The population of this study was all students of VIII of Junior High School in Pundong district on 2013/2014 academic year. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The results of this descriptive study showed that the tendency category of creativity in medium, numerical ability in high, the students’attitude in mathematics in medium and achievement of the students in high. Correlatively, it show R=0,899 its means that there is positive and significant relationship between creativity, numerical ability and the students’attitude in mathematics  with the achievement matematics of the students.

This research aimed to examine the effect of VAK approach (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) towards the result of learning physics of students at SMPN 10 Mataram in academic year 2013/2014. The kind of research used was experimental design with design of research was randomized posttest only control design. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Population in this research was all the students from the eight grade at SMPN 10 Mataram, while the sample was 25 students of class VIII A as the experimental group and 27 students of class VIII B as the control group. The data obtained was analyzed by using t-test of two-tailed. t-count was 4.78 and t-table was 2.00 with significance level 0.05. Hence, t-table is smaller than t-count or t-count is bigger than t-table. It means that Null Hypothesis was rejected and Alternate Hypothesis was accepted. It means that the application of VAK Approach (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) affects the results of learning physics of students.Keyword: VAK Approach

This study aims to find, analyze and examine the relationship between the discipline oflearning and achievement with behavior in maintaining the cleanliness of the environment.The study design used in this study was student class of 2011 Program StudiesEconomics Education / Administration Commerce Teacher Training and Education Facultyof the University of Siliwangi Tasikmalaya totaling 193 people. The sampling techniqueused in this study is proportional random sampling technique, the sample size of 60 people.Instrument in this study using a questionnaire to learn discipline and student behaviorquestionnaire in maintaining the cleanliness of the environment. While the data analysistechniques used were correlation analysis, simple and multiple regression.The results showed that the discipline variables studied included strong categories,including categories of academic achievement variable low and variable behavior of studentsin maintaining the cleanliness of the environment, including strong category.There is a relationship between the discipline of studying the behavior of students inmaintaining the cleanliness of the campus. This can be evidenced by the acquisition of an rvalue of 0.767 and a strong cohesion category contributes by 58.8%. The better the disciplineof learning, the better the behavior of students in maintaining the cleanliness of the campus.There is a relationship between the behavior of student achievement in maintaining thecleanliness of the campus. This can be evidenced by the acquisition of an r value of 0.319and a low of closeness category contributed 10.1%.The better achievement, the better thebehavior of students in maintaining the cleanliness of the campus.There is a relationshipbetween the discipline of learning and academic achievement with student behavior inmaintaining the cleanliness of the campus. This can be evidenced by the acquisition of an rvalue of 0.781 and a strong cohesion category contributes 61%. The better the discipline oflearning and the achievement of learning, the better the behavior of students in maintainingthe cleanliness of the campus.

This study examines the relationship between self-concept and mathematics anxiety towards the freshmen learning results. The method used is the correlation method which was aimed to see how strong and how much influence of self-concept and mathematics anxiety with students’ learning results. The population in this study were all students of mathematics education academic year 2013/2014, the study sample was taken by purposive sampling technique as many as 88 students who took the Calculus I course. The instrument used in this research is scale mathematical self-concept and mathematics anxiety scale. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between self-concept and anxiety towards math-ematics learning outcomes of students. Research showed that there was a positive and sig-nificant relationship between self-concept and anxiety mathematical mathematics with stu-dent results.Keywords : Self Concept, Anxiety Mathematics Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this study to determine the relationship of mathematical resilience to students problem solving abilities. This research was conducted in MTs Negeri Kota Cimahi class VIII-I even semester in academic year 2017-2018. The method used is qualitative descriptive method. Population taken is all students of class VIII MTs Negeri Kota Cimahi. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, which is a determination and sampling technique determined by the researchers with certain considerations. The sample consists of 34 students. Circle material used in research. Research instrument as many as 5 items about problem solving and resilience statement scale as many as 40 statement. The conclusion gained is that there are difficulties experienced by students in solving problem solving problem and there is correlation between mathematical resiliency to student problem solving ability equal to 0,649.
