Today the world is in the process of rapid informatization and digitalization of society in all its spheres. The way and pace of life of a modern man is not similar to the life of previous generations. The spread of the coronavirus disease, known as COVID-19, has necessitated acceptance and adaptation to new working and learning conditions for educators from different countries. Educational institutions around the world are responding to numerous prohibitions and quarantine rules with the transition to distance learning. The crisis has already caused an online boom for education and forced teachers to be preparedto deal with this atypical situation. The most powerful source today is digital technology, or as they call it - digital learning tools, which implies competent use of the latest gadgets. The endemic coronavirus (COVID-19) is growing exponentially around the world. The prevalence of the new coronavirus COVID-19 around the world has led to global changes in society, various organizations, and educational institutions. Primary school and university populations appear to be at a lower mortality risk than older adults, but precautions are still needed in a pandemic called "social distance" to reduce interpersonal contact and thereby minimize transmission of the virus. Approximately 264 million children and adolescents are out of school (UNESCO, 2017), and the pandemic has further exacerbated the situation. The more the pandemic grows, the more schools, colleges and universities are closed, contributing to the transition to online learning. The time has come to rethink and rebuild our education system based on the current situation. In the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis, online education has been a pedagogical breakthrough from a traditional method to a more modern approach to teaching and learning, from class to Zoom, from personal to virtual, from seminars to webinars. Around the world, the entire education system, from primary to tertiary, was destroyed during the isolation of the new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The pandemic has prompted a re-examination of the main points of online learning in education, as well as how existing educational resources can help transform formal education online through virtual classrooms and other online resources. The process of online teaching-learning modes is perceived by teachers and students in different ways, sometimes causing difficulties and controversy in the effectiveness of their use.

Modern society is developing under the influence of various factors, among which new information technologies occupy an important place, which make any person’s access to a huge flow of information simply instantaneous. Today, reliable information is one of the important products of society, and a thinking person is the main strategic resource of this society. Therefore, in the information society, the intellectual development of each of its members becomes a priority. In this regard, it is necessary to look for ways to optimize the process of training teachers who are able to organize the educational process in such a way that students develop the knowledge, skills and abilities that will be in demand in their future life and professional activity in the digital economy. Almost all improvements in the educational process are already unthinkable without the use of information and communication technologies, which have colossal didactic capabilities. They can be used in the educational process in two ways: as a powerful teaching tool and as an object of study, which allows you to solve educational problems and achieve set goals in the process of teaching, upbringing and development of students. One of the most effective and productive tasks that arouses great interest and is associated with the use of information technologies in both ways is the task of designing and creating digital educational resources, as well as their application in the educational process. The article provides an example of the implementation of a task related to the development of a digital educational resource for preparation for the Basis State Examination in informatics of ninth-grade secondary school students, which allows future subject teachers to form the professional competencies they need in the field of creating educational resources with their further inclusion in the educational process.

The present article deals with the idea of information and communication technologies, game technologies and is about basic possibilities of using GEOBOARD Internet service for studying Mathematics in elementary school. The scientific approaches to the concept of information and communication technologies, game technologies are described and the potential possibilities of using the GEOBOARD Internet service in elementary education as an option of educational technologies, the influence of the GEOBOARD Internet service on the development of primary school students, advantages and directions of application are analyzed. The important aspect of using GEOBOARD Internet service is the ability to use it both from a personal computer and a Google Chrome web page. Also, users can download the app from the App Store to work with Apple products. The peculiarities of using GEOBOARD Internet service on mathematics lessons are systematization of material, strict logic, the interdisciplinary nature of the service, the learning process systematization, mastering the basics of spatial imagination, mathematical knowledge usage in solving educational, cognitive and educational and practical problems and depiction of geometric shapes. The use of the GEOBOARD Internet service in mathematics lessons promotes the complex development of elementary school children; the formation of a holistic picture of the world, knowledge of the world; the development of constructive skills, spatial relations and spatial thinking, vision of geometric figures, numbers, arithmetic, etc. Working with the GEOBOARD Internet service application allows an elementary school student to learn a lot of important information, prepares students for further study of the geometry course at school and develops their skills of being a socially active, creative person who generates new ideas and makes non-standard decisions. And it all happens in the form of a cognitive game. The GEOBOARD Internet service that is made by The Math Learning Center (MLC) has a wide range of functional and didactic capabilities and will fully meet the needs of elementary school teachers to cover many topics in mathematics lessons. The visualization allows elementary school students to summarize, systematize and discard redundant information just playing a game, so this is the way to improve the educational process. The service is important because it actively involves elementary school students in the process of learning geometric material.

Over time, the education system around the world has undergone dramatic changes. The traditional education system no longer meets today’s complex needs, where everything is dynamic and evolving at a very rapid pace. In today’s world, a huge number of transformations take place in every nanosecond. Therefore, a new, modern way of learning is needed to systematically cope with such transformations arising from the creation of vast amounts of information. Thus, to address the shortcomings of the traditional education system, the world is moving towards digital education, which solves all the problems and challenges of traditional education. The authors present a comprehensive analysis of the processes of digitalization of education, most actively proceeding in the modern world. The formation of the knowledge society and the digital stage of modern civilizational culture is still a continuous process, which itself is experiencing serious internal contradictions and problems, especially in our country. One of the serious obstacles to the modernization of education is the mismatch between the speed of educational resources and the rate at which the digitalization of the educational process itself is taking place, which is still very low. Education reform is presented in the article by the example of various forms of educational and extracurricular activities aimed at the active use of digital educational resources, including the citywide electronic journal and diary, which has been used for several years in many schools in Russia.
