The appearing Khilafiah in Indonesian Islamic History because of the side opinion of Ulama – Moslem Theologian – in using a nash as be an evidence in distinction of the rule of figh usage. It’s always influenced by the time and the condition, for instance among modernists and traditionalists acknowledge al Qur’an and as Sunnah are interpretable; while it’s also insisted by the aspect of government’s  politics as a need such as it’s happening until today. This writing uses the method of library research by using historical and content analysis approach. Key word : Khilafiah, Theology, Decision, Politics.

This research is based on library research. this study aims to reveal the interpretation of al-Luqman according to KH. Bisri Mustofa. Luqman's teaching is in accordance with the Javanese lifestyle that forms a harmonious life. this is illustrated in a way to explain it that is easily understood and able to link the content of the Qur'an with the Javanese thinking. the content analysis approach is used to explain the concept of mauizah in Surat al-Luqman, its relation to Javanese cultural tradition in KH. Bisri Mustofa’a perspective, and historicity to study the history of al-Luqman's letter. in this study, it is known that there is an interesting hierarchy in KH. Bisri Mustofa’s interpretive strategy.

This study aims to analyze the character values ​​in Sirah Nabawiyah Ar-Rahiq Al-Makhtum by Syafiyyurrahman al-Mubarakfuri, so that it is revealed how the character education of the Prophet Muhammad. and analyze its relevance to current educational goals. The research method used is library research, the type of research approach is deductive and the analysis method is content analysis. Data collection techniques used were library techniques. This research succeeded in proving that prophetic values ​​based on the history of the Prophet Muhammad have a strong relevance to the concept of contemporary character education. Prophetic values ​​loaded with character education in this era, especially related to religiosity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, respect for achievement, friendship, love for peace , likes to read, care about the environment, care about social, and responsibility.

The main focus of Orientalist thought is nothing but to reconstruct and influence Islamic civilization. Their enthusiasm to activate orientalism is increasingly challenged by the presence of Islam as a religion that has followers of most of the world's population. One of the actions of orientalism towards the Islamic world is to start a research movement on the Qur'an and al-Hadith which are the basis of the law and guidelines of Muslims. Not far from the critics of the Qur'an and al-Hadith, they also deconstructed aspects of the development of science, Islamic law, and even the originality of Islamic history. Some famous orientalism figures, one of them is Reinhart Dozy, a famous orientelism from the Netherlands with the concept of literacy in the history of Islamic civilization in Spain. Even though he received a lot of criticism and appreciation from both orientalists and Muslim thinkers, his literary work has had a great influence on Islamic civilization. The discussion steps of this study are entirely carried out using qualitative research that is library research. To be more useful and function properly, this paper is equipped with an explanation using the method of description, interpretation and analysis of data in each discussion. This is done, none other than to focus the discussion to produce a consistent and comprehensive understanding.

<p><em>In common tradition, m</em><em>aking a living is a husband's obligation, but now many wives play a role in earning a living. The aim of the study was to find out the law of the wife looking for a nafka, viewed the condition and ability of the husband to provide a living, in the review of Maqashid Shari'a proposed by Syatibi. The influence of science and technology and the increase in household needs triggers many wives to take part in making a living, and become the main breadwinner. This certainly raises the question, how does the view of Islamic law on wives earn a living in library research, using the normative qualitative method of gender analysis approach is content analysis. Islamic law explains that a wife cannot leave her house without her husband's permission and her main task is at home. This certainly raises the question, how does the view of Islamic law on wives earn a living. The results of the study explain that wife's law makes a varied living circumcision, makhruh and haram based on the ability of the husband to provide his wife with the benefit and the level of family needs (maqashid).</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p>

<p><em>Shia</em><em>h becomes a new problem in Indonesia after hundreds years of living together. Currently, treatment to Shiah tends to violate the principles of religious freedom. Therefore, it is necessary to know, how the history of the emergence of Shiah and its development in Indonesia? This is a library research using a critical analysis approach. This study found that the Syiah is a religious ideology which refers to the views of Saidina Ali (the fourth khalifat) and his descendants. This teaching emerged since the beginning of the khulafaurasidin. Shiah has developed dozens of religiousstreams due to disagreement and differences on the idea of Imamah. There are four stages of Shiah development in Indonesia, namely: Firstly, along with the arrival of Islam in Indonesia; Secondly, after the Islamic revolution in Iran; Thirdly, through Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals who studied in Iran, and Finally,  during the open era there was an establishment of as association Jamaah Ahlul Bai’t Indonesia.</em></p>

  The book “Riyadhus Sholihin” is a monumental work written by one of the great scholars who has a high reputation among the Muslims, namely Imam Nawawi. Although the main topic of the book is about encouragement and warningsand also purification of the self, the book also includes themes of faith and oneness of Allah conceptualized by the author in separate chapters accompanied by the arguments from the Qur’an and hadiths, including the Chapters Talqin “al-Muhtadhar” LaaIlaahaIllallah. Then, how is the correlation of the hadiths that he presented with this chapter and with the tawhid uluhiyyah ‘oneness of worship’? This qualitative research paper attempts to answer these questions using the library research method with a content analysis approach. The discussion of this paper is divided into several sub-sections: introduction, brief biography of Imam Nawawi, the meaning of tawhid uluhiyyah, the chapter Talqin and the correlation of the chapter and its arguments with tauhid uluhiyyah, and conclusions, including the following conclusions: (1) Riyadhus Sholihin is not a mere hadith book that discusses the themes of encouragement and warnings and purification of the self, but also contains theme on faith, (2) Imam Nawawi’s foresight in conceptualizing the chapters of the book and selecting related arguments withinthem, (3) The correlation between chapter Talqin "al-Muhtadhar" Laa Ilaaha Illallah and tawhid uluhiyyah is obvious, because LaaIlaahaIllallah is a tawhid propositionwhich content is the obligation to give worship only to Allah, that is the essence of tawhid uluhiyyah, (4) The correlation of two hadiths which arestated in the chapter Talqin "alh-Muhtadhar" Laa Ilaaha Illallah with tawhid uluhiyyahis very firm and clear.

Literary work is an inseparable part of human life. Literature appears along with the history of human existence. In fact, it can be said that from the literature produced, it reflected the support of human civilization. As a social institution, literature reflects the expression of appreciation and inner experience of the narrator or the author of certain authors or situations. Literature always experiences development along with changing times and the emergence of new thoughts in every aspect of life. This also applies in the world of literature. Parallel aspects will show a clear picture of literature from the past until now. Methodologically this research uses library research or library research. The object of the study in this study is Sufi literary works. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative, in which this study describes not intended to test certain hypotheses. Literary works with religious characteristics will be able to direct readers to make conscience more serious, pious and conscientious in inner consideration. So that religious works make the reader pensive and template.

Soul education is the process of growth, maintenance, and education of what is called the soul as a totality of people with good and bad potential. The soul is the basic substance of man to produce thoughts, behaviors, actions, and perspectives, which can be positive or negative. This study aims to reveal the values ​​of mental education according to Buya Hamka. This research is a library research with a content analysis approach. The source of the data was obtained through Buya Hamka's book titled Modern Tasawuf published by Panjaka Panjimas Library, Jakarta in 1990. The research found that in the modern Sufism book by Buya Hamka there were values ​​of mental education, among others; 1) Associating with wise people; 2) Getting used to thinking work; 3) Maintain lust and anger; 4) Tadbir, weigh before working (work regularly); 5) Investigate the defects (disgrace) yourself; 6) Angry; 7) Ujub; 8) Arguing and breaking friends' words 9) Senda banter and banter; 10) Zuhud; 11) Fair; 12) Fear of death; 13) Upside down promises and grudges.

India is important in the study of Islamic history and civilization research as it was one of the earliest territories that received Islamic preaching and was the site for various Islamic kingdoms until the year 1857. The achievements of Islamic civilization in India, particularly during the Mughal era, added sparkle to the glory of Islamic history. For this reason, the facts relating the Mughal Kingdom in India have been discussed in writings on Islamic history and civilization, including the book, Sejarah Umat Islam, by Hamka. The purpose of this article is to study Hamkas work on the history of the Mughal Kingdom in India and analyse the narration and discussion he submitted. This research adopts a qualitative approach using historial study and content analysis to gather and analyse data. Research results find that Hamka had the interest and knowledge in writing Islamic history by describing Muslim societies and Islamic states from their inception to their end, including the Mughal Kingdom in India. In his narrative of Mughal history, Hamka inserted the element of teaching or ibrah (lesson), particularly when discussing the time of Mughal decline. The narrative approach is consistent with the philosophy of Islamic history that stresses on the ibrah concept, which was meaningful to Hamkas own personality as a missionary. Hence, his work, SejarahUmatIslam, proved Hamkas ability to discuss Islamic history, and simultaneously resonated with readers interested in issues of Islamic history.

The Nurul Yaqin book is one of the yellow books that tell the history of the journey and struggle of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in spreading Islam. In the book, many stories are told about the joys and sorrows of the Prophet and his companions in the mission of spreading Islam. There are also many descriptions of essential and historical events that have become the treasures of Muslims. One of the efforts to connect the chain of the Prophet's struggle is to teach this book again with methods and media that are fun to students. The use of instructional media is expected to help students capture their imagination, increase their enthusiasm, spark their enthusiasm and provoke their creativity in studying historical books. This research is library research with a qualitative research approach. The data collection method uses the documentary study method. The data analysis method used is the content analysis method. The purpose of this study is to help teachers make it easier for students to accept and understand the contents of the Nurul Yaqin book by utilizing learning media in the form of pictures and maps.
