The article substantiates and describes the factors affecting the formation of mass network communication in connection with scientific and technological achievements, calls and risks of the information society. It is based on and defines didactic-technological paradigms of the modern period of informatization of education and various techniques based on the implementation of described paradigms are proposed. The correlation of the paradigms and factors, which affect modern education development are also described.

The article presents the analysis of the concept of competence approach from modern positions and from the point of view of the possibilities of transition to a new educational paradigm on its basis. The beginning of the new Millennium is characterized by global changes and profound processes in almost all spheres of human activity, especially in the field of communication technologies and education, as they are all closely interrelated. Currently, there is a transition to such an information society, in which the processes of generation, integration and dissemination of knowledge become a priority, and they should have a positive impact on the formation of a new paradigm of both education in General and private educational concepts and systems. This paradigm is aimed at the quality of modern education as a process and result of University practice and its quality management.

The processes of globalization and related integration that are taking place in the world, as well as the transition to the digitalization of all spheres of human life in the information society, adjustments introduced into people's lives, caused by unforeseen situations that cover the whole world, require a revision of the content of modern education. The relevance of the study is related to the need to search for stable support in a person in a constantly changing world, which inevitably leads to studying the role of the internal as related to the external factor in a person in the education system. The purpose of the article is to reveal the role of the inner world of a person in education. The leading research method was the analysis of the existing theoretical provisions and emerging practice in the spheres of pedagogy and education. The results of the study on the analysis of the role and place of the internal (motivation, impetus as the beginning of development, self-ordering) as related to the external (factors, causes, and conditions).

The article analyzes virtual and augmented reality technologies, one of the most widely used modern technologies at present. Virtual and augmented reality technologies have recently been used in medicine, architecture, manufacturing, and education. In this article, we will focus on the application of these technologies in the field of education. It is known that the use of new technologies in the educational process increases students ' interest in classes. The use of digital technologies in education is the main achievement of the information society. However, creating a digital system for education using VR and AR technologies requires significant funds. At the beginning of the article, a brief overview of technologies is given, the main definitions are given, and the history is described. A review of the work of scientists conducting research in this area.

This article examines the points of view of modern scholars, pedagogues and theologians upon the problem of the loss of spirituality in the current system of education in Russia. The authors analyze the two extreme opinions. The first one consists in the need for reviving the spiritual component in education. The loss of spirituality in this sphere led to dropping of value orientations, national unity and cultural identity of the modern generation of Russians. The second opinion reflects the views of scholars that in the information society an individual can combine the qualities of intellectual ruler of life and spirituality. In this case, the loss of spirituality is considered a natural human improvement process. As a result of the analysis of both points of view on the role of spirituality within the modern education system, the authors believe that the solution should be found in harmonization of secular and religious education in the conditions of development of information society. This problem could be solved with introduction of theology as a scientific specialty, which would allow preparing theologians of new generation. The next stage in studying this problematic would consist in the examination of experience of implementation of theological education in different Russian universities, namely Kozma Minin Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University, since it features Bachelor’s and Master’s programs of Orthodox theology.

Modernization of Russian education allocates to some of the priorities education informatization in which focusis put on creation of the digital educational environment, giving to the student in the conditions of information society an opportunity to optimize necessary information. A main goal of this article is the analysis of problems and the prospects of formation of the modern electronic training environments. Information society is fundamentals of digital economy that play a crucial role in modern information space.

Abstract Information society needs refreshing changes in education. Only they make the process of education attractive and optimize in all types of modern schools. They also emphasize taking care of comprehensive development of children and youth and continuous enrichment of their personality. They also implement children and youth to learn throughout life, as well as to independently acquire knowledge from various sources of information and develop together with the changing reality. Such a revitalizing change and the chance of modern education is a tutor, ie a person with high knowledge and experience, appropriate competences, able to work individually with the student and being an adviser, mentor, leader for him.
