The article is devoted to the study of the features of the regulation of the activity of interrogators with different levels of professional stress, taking into account the duration of professional activity and gender. Neuropsychological correlates of dysregulation of activity among interrogators are described. It was assumed that the interrogators with a high level of professional stress would have the reduced ability of control over the activity. The material of the empirical study of 45 interrogators (28 men and 17 women at the age from 19 to 38 years, the average age is 28 years) with an experience of work from one year to 15 years is presented. The diagnostic complex included: «The scale of professional stress» Azarnyh T.D. and Tyrtyshnikov I.M., Symptom Check List-90-Revised and a number of neuropsychological techniques (graphical test, Nikitina pattern cubes, Taylor and Rey-Osterrieth complex figure test, test of Ozereckiy (Fist-Rib-palm), test for the study of working memory). It was revealed that men had lower control over the activity. People with moderate levels of occupational stress had the presence of symptoms of dysphoria. People with a low level occupational stress marked discomfort in the process of interpersonal communication. People with experience of more than 5 years have a pronounced sense of fear, a decrease in interest in life, which indicates signs of professional deformity. Employees with less than 5 years of experience showed the prevalence of somatic symptoms. The obtained results supplement the empirical data of researches aimed to study the stress response among law enforcement officers.

A comprehensive examination of 213 interns of both sexes was carried out. A system of psychotherapeutic correction of maladaptive states and psycho-preventive support of interns during the period of professional training has been developed. Levels of adaptation of internship doctors for professional activity were emphasized: high (14,1 %), average (20,2 %) and low level (65,7 %). It was described the asthenical (25,8 % of men and 22,5 % of women), hypersthenic (20,6 % of men and 23,2 % of women), anxiodepressive (11,3 % and 20,6 % respectively), psychosomatic (14,5 % of men and 18,1 % of women), asthenic-apathetical (12,3 % and 11,2 % respectively) and addictive (15,5 % of men and 4,4 % of women) variants of maladaptive reactions among the internship doctors. The developed model of the formation of disorders of adaptation of internship doctors is presented by a complex of pathogenic factors. It was established that the basis for the formation of maladaptive reactions among the internship doctors is the presence of somatic pathology, craniocerebral injury and neuroinfection in the anamnesis and the tendency to addictive behavior. Prognostically important factors in the formation of adaptation disorders are conflicts of family and professional relations, disturbing suspiciousness, low communicativeness, difficult working conditions, lack of positive emotions, awareness of inadequate level of competence, low level of motivation, and imperfectiveness of mechanisms of psychological protection. Triggers for the development of maladaptive states are the high level of professional stress, depletion of adaptation, prolonged mental stress, frustration of significant basic needs, and high rates of clinical scale of anxiety and depression HDRS. An individualized three-stage system of medical and psychological support during the professional training period, which involves the application of complex psychodiagnostic, psychotherapeutic, psychoeducational and psychoprophylactic influences, has been developed and tested.

Abstract Objectives Children with specific language impairment (SLI) have difficulties with producing and understanding language. It is important to search for the risk factors for this deficit in children. The goal of this research was to examine the hypothesis that children at the age of 5 with weakness in holistic processing have a risk for emerging deficit in grammar understanding at the age of 7. Methods 98 children at the age of 5 were assessed with the Rey-Osterieth Complex Figure Test to reveal children with weakness in holistic processing. It was proposed that part-oriented strategy in copying Complex Figure is related to weakness in holistic processing (Luria, 1973). We have revealed 19 children with weakness in holistic processing. These children were included in the experimental group. The control group included 19 children with typical level of holistic processing. Children from experimental and control group were matched for IQ and gender. Children at the age of 7 from both groups were assessed by Grammar Understanding Test from Luria’s neuropsychological assessment technique. Results One-way ANOVA has revealed significant differences [p ≤ 0,05] between groups for scores in Grammar Understanding Test. Children from the experimental group showed a lower level of grammar understanding. Conclusion This research has shown that weakness in holistic processing can predict the delay in development of grammar understanding in children. The received results shed light into underlying nature of SLI. It can be assumed that weakness in holistic processing is one of the risk factors for emerging deficit in grammar understanding in children.

Introduction. Determining the professional performance, endurance and stress resistance of power dispatchers who manage all power supply devices on the railway is one of the essential aspects of ensuring train safety. The aim of the study is to determine the criteria for professional performance, endurance and the probability of developing professional stress by analyzing the psychophysiological parameters of railway power dispatchers.Materials and methods. Psychophysiological studies were conducted to assess stress resistance; emotional stability; attention stability; attention switching; interference stability, attention distribution, and overall functional status in 63 energy dispatchers (40 men and 23 women; average age 40.6±10.68 years, experience 13.4±1.25 years).Results. Based on the degree of intellectual, sensory, emotional and regime loads, according to the degree of labor intensity, the labor activity of energy dispatchers can be classified as class 3.2. It is shown that these psychophysiological parameters are the most significant for professional activity and allow an adequate assessment of their performance and professional fitness. In the absence of a significant dependence of the parameters of attention distribution, attention stability, reflecting the characteristics of mental fatigue and stability, on the age, length of service and gender of energy dispatchers, some gender features were identified for other indicators. Women were found to have a slightly higher noise immunity compared to men, apparently due to the predominance of excitatory processes over inhibitory ones, with greater stability and balance of excitation and inhibition in the central nervous system in men. This was accompanied by less emotional and stress resistance of female energy dispatchers, which may be a criterion for earlier development of professional stress in women. Additionally, an express test to assess the functional state also showed deeper manifestations of professional stress in female energy dispatchers, which may affect the quality of their professional activities.Conclusions. The high adequacy and resolution of the applied set of methods for assessing the performance of dispatchers and early detection of manifestations of occupational stress is shown, and gender differences in the manifestations of the latter require further development of additional measures to prevent health disorders and increase the productivity of women energy dispatchers.

In the article are represented the results of an empirical study of the relationship between meaningful life orientations and motivational readiness of students for professional activity. It was found that the leading orientation of the studied students, which is most pronounced at a high level, is the focus on interaction and cooperation, due to the interests of cooperation, constructive interpersonal communication, the needs of joint activities. It is noted that the focus on cooperation of students with other people reflects their motivation to communicate as a process when it is communication, interaction, and not the specific results of such activities that matter. The students found a predominance of the average level of life aspirations, which can be explained by their mediocre self-confidence, insufficient ability to set life goals according to their own capabilities, as well as the average level of life achievements due to average and low assessment of their ability to manage their own lives. It has been shown that the global Covid-19 pandemic has contributed to the actualization of those needs that are limited or even impossible due to total lockdown. It was found that the motivational structure of students is dominated by high levels of all indicators of life orientation: livelihood, comfort, communication, and «work» orientation, which determine the motivational orientation of students to professional activities in the form of general and creative activity and social utility. At the same time, the developmental motives of professional readiness for activity («working» orientation) of the studied students are higher in comparison with the motives of maintenance (general life orientation). The strongest connection between the indicators of meaningful life orientations is found with the need for recognition, with the need for self-expression and with the tendency to affiliation. The general life orientation of students depends mostly on life support and communication, and the «work» orientation — on general and creative activities.
