This paper was aimed to investigates pedagogical competence in the non-government teachers in Jerowaru District, East Lombok. The method used in this study was a descriptive-qualitative study where the purpose was to describe the phenomena that occur regarding the lack of non-government teachers’ competencies in the teaching and learning process. The study was focused on analyzing three vocational schools in Jerowaru District where the total population of teachers was 60 teachers with 50% which means that 30 of them were purposively taken as a sample in the study. The result shows that many of the non-government teachers are unstable in terms of pedagogical competence. The main cause of the problem that occurred came from the facilities and access to the internet so that they lack material and media support in the teaching in the learning process. Besides, salary also becomes concerned for these teachers, where they only received one salary in a matter of three months. Regarding covid-19, the assistance provided by the relevant government is also inadequate so that it clearly affected their teaching competence.

This study attempts to answer three research questionsdealing with the use of video inteachingwriting procedure text. The questions are;   1) How is the use of video in teaching writing procedure text? , 2) How are the students’ writing after the use of video?, and 3) How are the students’ responses towards the use of video in teaching writing procedure text?.Since this study was descriptive qualitative study, the writer would describe and analyze the existing phenomena during the study.  Furthermore, there were three kinds of instruments used in this study. They were observation checklist, students’ writing, and questionnaire.Based on the findings, the writer noticed that the use of video mostly had the same activities although it was done in three meetings.   The notes were about the analysis of teacher’s activity, students’ activity, teaching and learning process, material, and media used.  In addition, the use of video helped students to create procedure text based on its generic structures and language features. Meanwhile, the result of students’ responses showed that the students were mostly interested in video viewing and agreed that video was helpful in getting the ideas to write.

AbstractThis study aims to describe the existence by Christian Religion Teacher (PAK) in the learning process during the covid-19 pandemic. This is a descriptive qualitative study. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews with online questionnaires through the telegram group Guru PAK Indonesia which consists of 880 members. The distribution of questionnaires was carried out in 2 stages, in the first stage 421 PAK teachers were the main respondents and the second questionnaire was distributed as many as 581 PAK teachers to obtain supporting data. From the results of the study, it was found that the existence of PAK teachers in learning was different, some were in a situation of smooth internet access, some were in areas that were not smooth and in areas where there was no internet access. Poor internet access, limited economic capacity and limited understanding of ICT are obstacles faced by many PAK teachers in learning. House-to-house learning, assignments, taking part in online workshops, learning on their own from the internet or even asking for help from peers are efforts made by PAK teachers to remain able to carry out their responsibilities as a professional PAK teacher in carrying out learning amid Covid- 19. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan eksistensi guru PAK dalam pembelajaran di tengah pandemi Covid-19.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dengan penyebaran kuesioner secara online melalui grup telegram Guru PAK Indonesia yang beranggotakan 880orang.Penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan dengan 2 tahapan, pada tahap pertama 421 orang guru PAK menjadi responden utama dan penyebaran kuesioner kedua sebanyak 581 orang guru PAK untuk mendapatkan data pendukung. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa keberadaan guru PAK dalam pembelajaran berbeda-beda, ada yang berada dalam situasi akses internet yang lancar, ada yang berada di daerah yang kurang lancar dan di daerah yang tidak ada akses internet. Akses internet yang kurang baik, kemampuan ekonomi yang terbatas dan pemahaman TIK yang masih terbatas menjadi kendala yang dihadapi oleh banyak guru PAK dalam pembelajaran. Pembelajaran dari rumah ke rumah, penugasan, mengikuti kegiatan workshop online, belajar sendiri dari internet atau bahkan meminta bantuan dari teman sejawat menjadi upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru PAK agar tetap mampu melakukan tanggung jawab sebagai seorang guru PAK yang profesional  dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran di tengah Covid-19.

This research aimed at analyzing the English teacher’s technique on controlling students’ misbehavior in the classroom. The focus of this research is related with the most frequent misbehavior conducted by the students of class VII G and VII H in SMPN 1 Sukasada, the English teacher technique on controlling students’ misbehavior, and the students’ responses toward English teacher’s technique during teaching and learning process. This research applied descriptive qualitative study. The writer analyzed the English teacher technique on controlling students’ misbehavior in the classroom through observation, video recording, note taking, and interview guidance. The result of the study showed that the most frequent misbehavior conducted by the students were disruption and needless talk. The English teacher at SMPN 1 Sukasada used reprimands and pre-empting misbehavior and the students’ responses was good enough. In the last meeting, the students reduce their misbehaviours.

Abstract The internet can be made as a way to transfer knowledge from lecturers to students, while Learning that utilizes the internet is one of the E-Learning Learning media. E-learning is distance learning that utilizes computer technology or computer networks or the Internet E-learning, so that it can enable the learning process through computers in their respective places without having to physically go to attend classes or lectures in class, Systems e-learning learning is a new way of teaching and learning. E-learning as a special learning media PAI courses provide a very important role and a large function in the course because so far there are many shortcomings and weaknesses such as the limitations of space and time in the teaching and learning process through E-learning which prioritizes the efficiency of learning so students get full teaching even though they do not have to be face to face, can also be accessed anywhere, anytime, according to the assignments given by the lecturer usually scheduled with a specified deadline. The development of education towards e-learning is a must so that the quality standards of education can be improved, E-learning is one of the uses of internet technology in the delivery of learning and its broad reach. E-learning adalah pembelajaran jarak jauh (distance learning) yang memanfaatkan  teknologi komputer atau jaringan komputer atau internet E-learning, sehingga dapat  memungkinkan proses pembelajaran melalui komputer di tempat mereka  masing– masing tanpa harus secara fisik  pergi  mengikuti pelajaran atau pun  perkuliahan di kelas,  Sistem pembelajaran e-learning adalah cara baru dalam proses belajar mengajar. E-learning  sebagai   media pembelajaran khususnya mata kuliah PAI memberikan  peran   sangat   penting  dan fungsi yang besar pada mata kuliah tersebut karena selama  ini terdapat banyak  kekurangan  dan kelemahan seperti keterbatasan ruang dan waktu dalam  proses belajar  mengajar melalui E-learning yang  mengedepankan keefisienan dalam belajar sehingga  mahasiswa mendapat pengajaran yang penuh meski tidak harus bertatap muka, juga bisa di akses di mana saja, kapan saja,  sesuai dengan tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen biasanya terjadwal dengan  batas  waktu  yang  di tentukan. Pengembangan  pendidikan menuju e-learning merupakan suatu keharusan agar standar mutu pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan,  E-learning merupakan salah satu penggunaan teknologi internet dalam penyampaian  pembelajaran  serta  jangkauannya yang luas. E-learning  juga dapat menjadi jawaban dari suatu permasalahan kesehatan yaitu Pandemi Corona (Covid-19) ini yang sangat berpengaruh juga pada setiap aspek kehidupan terutama bidang pendidikan.Kata kunci  :  Keefektifitas, Pemanfaatan, Pendidikan Agama Islam,  E-Learning, Covid 19.

In the era of education information and globalization, a new mode of teaching and micro class has emerged in the background of the Internet, which brings new challenges and opportunities to the teaching of the classroom. MOOCs has been piloted and applied in many universities in the form of SPOC. As a new form of curriculum, micro course has been applied to the teaching and learning process. The integration of Moor and micro class resources helps to turn the classroom into a mixed mode. This article will focus on this hot topic to analyse the characteristics of the class, the characteristics of the micro class and the influence on the students and teachers, to improve the quality of teaching and to realize the individualized and active study of the students. The article summarizes the results of blended teaching mode at home and abroad, and explores the development and application of MOOC and micro class resources.

Writing skill is one of the skills that is difficult to learn because we have to know the correct sentence composition and also what we hear must be in accordance with what we write and therefore this skill is very important to learn. The objective of the research is to identify the sudents’ responses toward think talk write (TTW) strategy in teacihng writing skill. The research used descriptive qualitative design. The respondents of this research were eighth grade students of SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi. The instrument of this research was questionnaire. The result of data analysis shows that students gave positive responses toward TTW strategy. The respondents agree that TTW strategy can increase students’ motivation, TTW Strategy can help students in improving their writing skill and TTW strategy can make teaching and learning process interesting. Keywords:  Writing, Think Talk Write (TTW) Strategy, Student’s Responses

The teaching and learning process (learning) is an activity to carry out the core of education and curriculum at an educational institution. Teaching and learning activities contain various concepts related to the educational mission, educational foundation, and educational goals. In addition, learning is focused on what the lecturer must do as the one who provides learning. The learning process at this time is constrained by the Covid 19 pandemic faced by Indonesia, thus affecting all activities, one of which is Bungo Regency residents, especially in the academic field. Therefore, all learning activities carried out on campus are not allowed and must be done at home or online. One of them is the learning process for the Pancasila Course in the English Education Study Program (PBI), Semester II Year 2020/2021. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods in the form of photos and questionnaires via google forms which are distributed to students through whatsapp groups using 26 PBI second semester students. The results of this study indicate that students have internet signal problems, which are 81%. So the importance of the internet network is to make it easier for students to carry out the learning process effectively, due to the lack of a network. As teaching is considered as a lifelong process, teachers should always intend to develop themselves to be able to effectively conduct the teaching and learning process. This study aimed at exploring the view of pre-service English teachers towards the effective 21st-century teachers’ pedagogical competence and how they develop their pedagogical competence for their future teaching. The data were obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The study was qualitatively conducted as a case study by involving 12 pre-service English teachers purposively chosen due to their familiarity with the study issue. The results indicated that in terms of 21st-century education, the participants perceived that the pedagogical competence focused on teachers’ capability of integrating the technology in classrooms and teachers’ ability to exploit adjusted methods and materials which furnish students with skills appropriate to their future real-life careers.  Further, there were eight very crucial traits of effective 21st-century pedagogical competence perceived by the participants. The purpose of this research is to know students’ writing skill of discussion text. The design of this research was descriptive quantitative research. To reach the purpose above, the researcher was distributing test to twelfth Grade students of XII Agama 1 of MAN 1 Indragiri Hilir. The amount of them is 20 students. After collecting the data, the researcher found that their writing skill of discussion text was good. It was proven by their mean score that is 74.1. It can be concluded that students have had good skills to write discussion text. The researcher assumed that this good result can be because the students had been able to understand what the teacher explain during the teaching and learning process and they also read many texts in the library or the internet.

Harmonious communication has an important role in teaching and learning process, especially in encouraging the success of teaching and learning process in the classroom. This research was conducted to know the student's response to the implementation of Think Pair Share strategy in Speaking course. This strategy emphasizes how students are more active in communicating using English in the classroom. The purpose of this research is 1) how the implementation of Think Pair Share strategy in class; 2) how students respond to the Think Pair Share strategy in the classroom; The design of this study is descriptive-qualitative to answer these questions. In this study, researchers themselves are the main instrument. In collecting data, researchers used observation sheets, and field notes.
