<p>This study aims to investigate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of religious value internalization through an Extracurricular program of Islamic religious division and its relevance to a character building at SMAN 1 Malang. The data collections of this study were observation, interview, and documentation. In analyzing the data, the researcher used qualitative descriptive analysis which means that she described and interpreted the data to figure out the phenomenon in a real condition. The result of this study showed that the member of students in Islamic religious division planned and implemented the programs and activities based on the religious value through materials, methods, and times they arranged. Besides, the internalization management of religious value through this extracurricular program has relevance to a character building. This extracurricular program also facilitates the students to implement their knowledge into a good character based on religious value. In other words, the students can apply their experience they have got in the classroom into the activities in the extracurricular program, to have a good character, in which it also becomes the purpose and the relevance of internalization management of religious value through an extracurricular program and character building.</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Management of Internalization of Religious Values; Extracurricular Section of Islamic Spirituality; Character Education<em></em></p><p> </p>

<p><strong>ABSTRAK</strong>: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pendidikan karakter anak tunagrahita di TK LB Negeri Banjarnegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan menggunakan instrumen berupa wawancara, dokumentasi serta observasi partisipan. Data penelitian berupa analisis diskriptif kualitatif dengan berupa kata-kata, gambar dan bukan angka-angka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter anak tunagrahita di TK LB Negeri Banjarnegara terlaksana dengan baik dengan melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian.</p><p>Kata kunci : Implementasi, Pendidikan Karakter, Anak Tunagrahita</p><p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong>: The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of character education of mentally retarded children in TK LB Negeri Banjarnegara. This study uses descriptive qualitative research and uses instruments in the form of interviews, documentation and participant observation. The research data is in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis in the form of words, images and not numbers. The results of the study showed that the implementation of character education for mentally retarded children in TK LB Negeri Banjarnegara was carried out well through planning, implementation and assessment.</p><p> </p>

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sumber-sumber nilai-nilai karakter kewargaan multikultural yang menjadi basis nilai pembinaan karakter kewargaan multikultur dan menyajikan model pembinaan karakter kewargaan multikultur dalam program kurikuler berdasar identifikasi kebutuhan di Madrasah Aliyah di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi, focus group disscussion bersama para guru dalam MGMP PKN MA se-Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, dan observasi pelaksanaan pembentukan karakter kewargaan multikultural di sekolah sampel. Guru yang terlibat berjumlah 30 orang dari 21 sekolah. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, panduan observasi, dan panduan FGD, sedang analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskripsi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian memaparkan pembentukan karakter kewargaan multikultural di MA dan upaya mengharmonikan identitas Islam dan kebangsaan di MA. Penguatan integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dan kebangsaan ke dalam wajah multikultural pendidikan Islam Indonesia modern perlu dielaborasi lebih lanjut. Kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, kewargaan multikultural, kurikulum, madrasah aliyah, IslamCHARACTER BUILDING FOR MULTICULTURAL CITIZENSHIP WITHIN THE CURRICULAR PROGRAMS IN MADRASAH ALIYAH, YOGYAKARTA Abstract: This study was aimed to identify the sources for multicultural citizenship character values which became the basis for multicultural citizenship character building. This study also presented a model of multicultural citizenship character building in the curricular program based on the identification of the needs in Madrasah Aliyah in Yogyakarta. The study used the documentation study, a focus group discussion with teachers in the association of civic teachers of Madrasah Aliyah in Yogyakarta, and observations of the implementation of the multicultural citizenship character building in the sample school. There were 30 teachers from 21 schools involved. The instruments uesd were in the form of the lesson plans, observation guidelines, and focus group discussion guidelines. The data were analyzed using the qualitative descriptive analysis. The findings showed the multicultural citizenship character building in Madrasah Aliyah and the efforts to harmonize the Islamic and nationalism identities in Madrasah Aliyah. The integration of the Islamic and nationalism values into the modern Indonesian Islamic education needed to be elaborated further. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan: (1) nilai-nilai semboyan maja labo dahu dalam pendidikan karakter;  (2) implementasi semboyan maja labo dahu dalam pendidikan karakter;  (3) efektivitas implementasi semboyan maja labo dahu dalam pendidikan karakter di MTs Negeri 1 Kota Bima. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Penentuan  subjek penelitian yang dilakukan dengan teknik purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif model interaktif dengan langkah-langkah: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Nilai-nilai semboyan maja labo dahu sesuai dengan nilai-nilai dalam pendidikan karakter, yaitu: nilai religius, jujur, disiplin, mandiri, menghargai prestasi, dan cinta tanah air. (2) Implementasi semboyan maja labo dahu belum dirumuskan secara eksplisit atau dibakukan sebagai materi pelajaran. (3). Semboyan  maja labo dahu telah efektif memberikan pengetahuan moral tentang nilai-nilai semboyan maja labo dahu kepada siswa. Kata Kunci:   semboyan,  maja labo dahu,  pendidikan karakter MAJA LABO DAHU SLOGAN IN CHARACTER EDUCATION Abstract: The purpose of this research was to reveal: (1) ) the values of the maja labo dahu slogan in character education; (2)  the implementation of   maja labo dahu  slogan  in character education; (3) the effectiveness of the implementation  of maja labo dahu  slogan in character education in Public MTs 1 Bima City. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using case study approach in Public MTs 1 Bima City. Informants in this study were principals, teachers, and students of Public MTs 1 Bima City. Determination of research was subjects conducted with purposive techniques. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) The values of maja labo dahu slogan were in accordance with the values in character education, namely: religious values, honest, disciplined, independent, appreciating achievement and loving the homeland. (2) the implementation of maja labo dahu slogan in Public MTs 1 Bima City was not formulated explicitly or standardized as subject matter. (3) The slogan maja labo dahu has effectively provided moral knowledge about the values of maja labo dahu  to learners. Keywords: Maja labo dahu slogan,,  character education

This endeed of  research is to describe the place of the kolintang music ensemble to accompany the singin of the flag ceremony at SMP Sw. St. Paulus Sidikalang. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this research is flag ceremony. The research focussed on the role of Kolintang music ensemble as song chanting. The data of the final research was obtained from the observations of the flag-raising activities, interview with teachers, student adan kolintang’s players in junior high school and take a documentation. Data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Data validity is obtained through data triangulation, observer triangulation, theory triangulation and method triangulation. The purpose of this research is to know and descriebing  kolintang music. Example, in this research is by using numbered data such as document, archieves, interview results, observation result or also by interviewing more thn one subject that is consideret to have a different point of view.The result showed that : (1) In accompaniying singing at the flag-ceremony, students used the basic notes G, C and F. (2) the tecnic to performed kolintang    were not wheeled with a kolintang played general. (3). After carrying out their duties as chanting accompaniment in the ceremony, students who performed kolintang first practice on kolintang extracurricular activities. (4) in the process of playing kolintang, each player must have a strong feeling so that the technic kolintang is harmonious. Keywords : Descriptive Study, Ensemble, Kolintang music

Abstract. Many cases of juvenile delinquency that occurred in the community allegedly be-cause there are lack of exemplary and intensive supervision in our educational and community components. According to this reality, it is urgent to know the strategy of strengthening character education in schools to prevent juvenile delinquency. The purpose of this paper is to examine strat-egies in preventing juvenile delinquency through strengthening character education. This paper uses the theory of habituation from the Skinner, such as spontaneous activities, exemplary meth-ods are also a series of behaviorism theory from John Watson, and conditioning activities that are similar to behaviorism theory from Edwin Guthrie . This study includes the type of literature study research by finding reference theory that relevant to the cases or problems found. The data that have been obtained then analyzed by descriptive analysis method. The conclusions from this litera-ture study includes 1) education in Indonesia still focused on cognitive aspect or academic, while the aspect of soft skills or non academic which is the main element of character education so far still get less attention. 2) implementation of strategies to strengthen character education in schools in preventing juvenile delinquency, can be integrated into existing subjects, local content, self-development. 3) the headmaster as the leader of the school organization is fully responsible for the character building of students, so as a model school requires special efforts to integrate the values of character into the learning process and routine activities in schools. Based on the above conclu-sions, some suggestions were formulated: 1) learning in schools should focus on soft skills or non academic (affective and psychomotor) which are the main elements of character education through teaching and learning activities or extracurricular activities; 2)The national education ministries should formulate learning models that use the character component as the largest com-ponent; 3) the national education ministry should cooperate with TNI and POLRI by conducting education to defend the country that there are character and nationalism elements. Abstrak. Maraknya kasus kenakalan remaja yang terjadi di masyarakat diduga ku-rangnya keteladanan dan pengawasan intensif dari komponen pendidikan dan masyarakat. Ber-dasarkan hal tersebut, mendesak untuk diketahui strategi penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dalam mencegah kenakalan remaja. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengkaji strategi dalam mencegah kenakalan remaja melalui penguatan pendidikan karakter. Penulisan ini menggunakan teori pembiasaan dari Skinner, berupa kegiatan-kegiatan spontan, metode keteladanan yang juga sejalan dengan teori behaviorisme dari John Watson, dan kegiatan pengkondisian yang sejalan dengan teori behaviorisme dari Edwin Guthrie. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian studi literatur dengan mencari referensi teori yang relefan dengan kasus atau per-masalahan yang ditemukan. Data-data yang sudah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Kesimpulan dari studi literatur ini antara lain: 1) Pendidikan di Indonesia masih terfokus pada aspek-aspek kognitif atau akademik, sedangkan aspek soft skills atau non-akademik yang merupakan unsur utama pendidikan karakter selama ini masih kurang mendapatkan per-hatian; 2) Implementasi strategi penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dalam upaya pencega-han kenakalan remaja dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam mata pelajaran yang sudah ada, muatan lokal, pengembangan diri, dan budaya sekolah, dan 3) Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin organisasi sekolah bertanggungjawab penuh terhadap pembinaan karakter peserta didik, sehingga sebagai teladan sekolah diperlukan upaya khusus untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas rutin di sekolah.. Berdasarkan kesimpulan di atas, dirumuskanbeberapa saran: 1) Pembelajaran di sekolah sebaiknya diutamakan menekankan pada soft skills atau non-akademik (afektif dan psikomotorik) yang merupakan unsur utama pendidikan karakter melalui KBM dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler; 2) Kemendikbud sebaiknya merumuskan model penilaian yang menggunakan komponen karakter sebagai komponen terbesar; 3) Kemendikbud bekerjasama dengan TNI dan POLRI sebaiknya mengadakan pendidikan bela Negara yang dida-lamnya memuat unsur budi pekerti dan nasionalisme.

Indonesian society is currently experiencing humanitarian problems. In the era of globalization where technology is increasingly sophisticated which results in ease in many fields but also has a negative impact on the other side. Temporary problems encountered in the community, namely Research originated from concerns about the phenomenon of violence that occurred in the educational environment in East Java. The act of bullying in school is a disturbing thing to social values. As a description of a phenomenon, this study uses a qualitative descriptive design. Data collection was carried out in this study by observation, interviews, and documentation. The strategy for implementing humanist education at MTs Wahid Hasyim Dau is done by planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs in schools and management. Implementation strategies for implementing character education in schools, with 4 forms, namely: 1. Integration of values and ethics on subjects. 2. Internalization of the positive values instilled by all school members. 3. Habit and training, giving examples and role models. 4. Creation of atmosphere in school and culture. While efforts to minimize dehumanization are carried out by establishing the principle of family, cooperation, and intimacy and providing self-awareness / self-introspection, tausiah. The implementation of humanist education in learning forms integration with learning, school management, and extracurricular activities. The implementation of humanist education at Dau carries out some aspects of the theory of Paul Freire, but efforts to realize humanist education with consideration to the problems and needs of the era are good.  Keywords: Strategy, Implementation, Education, Humanism

The problem behind this research was the lack of inculcation of character values among students. This research aims to analyze the implementation of character education in the learning process of Hindu religious education. This type of research was qualitative using a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this research were elementary school teachers and students. Data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis method used was in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis, namely the process of systematically searching and compiling data obtained from interviews, field notes, and documentation, by organizing data into categories, breaking down into units, synthesizing, compiling into patterns, choosing which ones are important, and which will be studied, and making conclusions so that they are easily understood by themselves and others. Based on the result of this research and discussion described, it can be concluded that the implementation of character education was only able to find 14 characters. The character values achieved consist of 18 character values in the development of cultural and national character education by the Ministry of Education and Culture so that it can be concluded that the inculcation of values has been carried out well even though it was still maximal.

Folklore is a story that originated in society and developed in society in the past which played an important role in the development of children's character learning in the form of moral values. The purpose of this study was to explain the moral values contained in folklore to improve character education. This study used a qualitative descriptive research design. Where all the data collected is based on books and other supporting document data. From the discussion of the Timun Mas folklore, there are eight prominent moral values, namely religious values, independent values, curiosity values, hard work values, responsibility values, honesty values, creativity, the value of the spirit of hard work. And from the research results, it can be concluded that the folklore of Timun Mas has many moral values that can be applied in the world of Education to shape character.

One of the functions of education is to form the character of students. Character building is a system of inculcating character values ​​to students through competency achievement activities in accordance with the level of education. Character education at the institutional level leads to the formation of values ​​that underlie individual behavior applied in society. The problem that arises in this research lies in fostering student character so that it gives rise to several research questions such as: How to plan students’ character development at Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh in building student character, How is the implementation of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program  in fostering student character and what are the implications of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program in fostering students’ character. The purpose of this study is to determine the efforts made by ustaz ustazah in planning student character development in Ma'had, to determine the implementation of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program and to find out what are the implications of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program. in building student character. The research method in this thesis uses qualitative research methods in the form of descriptive analysis. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results in this thesis research indicate that planning at the beginning of the program that  students are required to live in a dormitory and the role of dorm supervisor is very important for students in the dormitory. They carry out disciplinary attitudes through congregational prayers, Implementation of the Ma'had program through the Tsaqafah Islamiyah program, the Tahsin program and the Dormitory program. The ma'had program is very beneficial for students, because undergoing activities in a dormitory is like living in an Islamic boarding school. Surely, it really helps them in doing good things, especially in worship to get closer to the Khaliq and many other positive things that students get during this program. They can manage their time in discipline.

Conflicts that occur in the school environment as the dynamics of a multicultural society. Shaping the character of students' multicultural education is the main responsibility of a teacher. The objectives of the study are 1) To find and explain the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering religious attitudes in multicultural society in schools; 2) To find, understand, and explain the strategy of Islamic Education teachers in implementing multicultural values in schools; 3) To find, understand, and explain what are the obstacles faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in implementing multicultural education in schools. This research is qualitative descriptive analysis with depth interview method. Data were obtained from interviews with 25 teachers from various subject areas at Cirebon 2 State High School, West Java, Indonesia. The positive role of the teacher can be seen in the attitude of fostering religious awareness and multicultural attitudes in schools by providing religious lessons. The strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in growing religious multiculturalism through sustainable character education learning. The obstacles faced by some education teachers are religious fanaticism, teachers cannot control the implementation of daily interactions and different levels of student awareness.
