The FIFA 2018 World Cup is a significant event for Russian society. Ministries carry out various actions to promote football in the country. The Russian society of sociologists conducted a survey (4703 respondents) to understand the attitude to the Championship. Further, the teachers of the Ural Federal University conducted a survey of the attitude to football fans. Scientists have found that over the past 7 years, citizens have become more positive about fanaticism, but there is a problem of lack of objective information. To solve this problem, teachers at the Institute of physical culture of the Ural Federal University have developed a special course "Basics of working with the fans". The course is designed for students, postgraduates and teachers of physical education departments of universities, as well as stewards and volunteers. Since September 2017, 118 students have been trained in this course. The course consists of two parts: theoretical – describing the types of fans, information about the differences between fans from different countries; practical – reviewing the real situations of interaction with fans, communicating with Russian and foreign fans. Classes are conducted by a sports psychologist who studies football fans for 8 years.

SummaryA word, a term, written or spoken is the most beautiful jewel that a civilization can make. It can be therefore said that the specialized terminology of a particular profession – is its jewel. This professional jewel, specialized terminology, reflects not only its present time but also all the past ages it was developed through into a jewel of a culture and its civilizational value. This also applies to the specialized terminology of physical culture that is, the terminology of physical education and sport. It is also the jewel which reflects the present and the past; its developmental path that has always been adjusted to the social circumstances and time it has existed in. Its terminology can provide insight into its development, rises and falls, turns to the prevailing ’’noble’’ ideas, inflow of foreign words into the body of the specialized terminology.Development of the specialized terminology for physical culture that is, physical education and sport includes not only deep consideration and proficiency but also good intentions to make improvements to the profession and not to the current geopolitical (in)conveniences. It is therefore very important to emphasize that search and selection of a term which can indeed reflect the conceptual content in question is neither easy nor automatic. Moreover, if a good intention is missing, then various problems in communication can occur. The Latins described it very well: Nomen est omen.Doubts about terms: physical culture – sport, physical education – sport education, physical exercising – physical activity, physical recreation – sport recreation are just some of the examples indicating that it is necessary to continue the development of the multilingual specialized terminology dictionary for our profession.

As a medium subject, physical education in colleges and universities not only has high value of physical quality exercise for the students, but also has strong value of humanistic education for ideological education and professional quality education in China, which has been totally ignored in physical education in the past. Nowadays, the requirements for talents and social needs for talents' abilities including professionalism are becoming more and more comprehensive and flexible. Physical education should strengthen its understanding of the educational value of multiple deep-seated educational functions, such as physical culture, ideological and political education and professional qualities. As a bridge, physical education can realize the new educational reform and development of multi-disciplinary joint training with other subjects, thus achieving the development of physical education in the era. The implementation of talent training is the focus and main educational exploration of this paper for the author.

Physical activity is one of the factors conditioning human health. Research shows a positive impact of regular physical activity on the quality of human life. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between the physical activity of university students, their parents, and their grandparents, and the overall quality of their lives in individual domains (physical, mental, social, environmental), as well as the perceived state of health in relation to selected determinants. The research included 1001 participants, including 253 students related to physical culture and health promotion studying at the University of Szczecin (faculties: physical education, tourism and recreation, public health, sports diagnostics), and their 336 parents and 412 grandparents. Purposive sampling was used to outline the determinants of quality of life and family factors in physical activity. The diagnostic survey was carried out based on the standardized WHOQOL-BREF (World Health Organization Quality of Life) questionnaire. Statistically significant differences were shown in the studied generations regarding the assessment of quality of life and satisfaction with health in the physical, psychological, social, and environmental domains. The oldest generation gave the lowest assessment of quality of life and was the least satisfied with their health regarding particular domains. Female students were more satisfied with their health compared to grandmothers and grandfathers, whereas male students compared to mothers and fathers. Fathers achieved the highest scores in the psychological and social domains, but, in case of the latter, differences were found between mothers’ and fathers’ assessments. Intergenerational differences were found in quality of life and the assessment of health status. Current participation in broadly understood physical culture was often a result of positive attitudes towards physical education and doing sport in the past, which meant higher scores in the physical domain each time. The study demonstrated that taking up physical activity impacted the quality of life and assessment of health in the past and currently.

A special role in the development of a new educational system in West Volyn was given to the Kremenets Lyceum, in which physical education occupied an important place in upbringing process. The Lyceum created a clear system of physical education. Interclass collectives with the same level of physical development were formed, which allowed to differentiate approach to the process of physical training. The division of pupils into such groups created close contact with physical education teachers. The Lyceum created the team, whose pupils participated in various competitions, and in 1936, interschool sports club, which had its statute and leadership. Lyceum teams took part in competitions not only in Kremenets, but also in other towns. Jan Targonsky, Galina Falkovska and Julian Kozlovsky made a significant contribution into the development of physical culture and sports in Kremenets and Kremenets Lyceum. Professor Yulian Kozlovsky became a great popularizer of sports not only in the lyceum, but also among the town residents. He also participated in competitions, in the organization and judging of competitions of various levels in many sports. At his initiative, thanks to the organization of annual competitions, which took place alternately in Rydzyn and Kremenets educational institutions, there was a rapprochement of student youth. On December 29, 1931, the Section of State Defense and Physical Education of the Association of Public Organizations was established in Kremenets, the tasks of which were to unite the joint efforts of the organizations. Thanks to the enthusiasm of schoolchildren, the ski movement gained popularity and went into the extracurricular sphere. The production of ski equipment on machines in school workshops helped to reduce its price and made it possible to involve first-graders and then older sections of the population in skiing. Key words: Volyn, Kremenets Lyceum, interwar period, physical culture and sports.

The article analyzes and predicts the main statistical indicators that characterize the development of the epidemic situation of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in the Voronezh region, namely, the distribution by infection pathways. Previous years ' morbidity rates were used as data for forecasting. The applied forecasting method is based on extrapolation methods. What all extrapolation methods have in common is that they project the course of events in the past into the future. At the same time, no causal relationships are established - it is assumed that the forces operating in the past will continue to operate in the future without significant changes. When forming forecasts using extrapolation, they are based on statistically developing trends in changes in certain quantitative characteristics of an object over a certain period. Predicting the incidence of HIV is carried out using the exponential smoothing method using a linear trend and choosing the optimal smoothing parameters. A trend is an analytical or graphical representation of changes in a variable over time, resulting from the allocation of a regular (systematic) component of a dynamic series. The main goal of the analysis and forecasting is to identify the main trends in the spread of HIV infection, identify the main routes of infection, and identify key risk groups among the population of the Voronezh region
