As a result, we've made the conclusions that the valuesemantic basics of the psychologist’s professional activity have specificity which is depended on how much the professional builds his life generally according to his own meanings and values and how positively he assesses his own professional choice. Those psychologists who fill their lives with meaning to a greater extent are oriented towards how the psychological profession multifaceted is along with its helping meaning; they integrate the organization and semantic aspects in their professional context, link their personal and professional values and meanings and realize themselves professionally. Those psychologists who fill their lives with meaning to a less extent they comprehend their professional activity through more external parameters, and they are focused on homeostasis with the surrounding society. A resource of mindfulness, a tendency to professional self-realization and understanding how important their professional activity is and proper characteristics for those psychologists who are more thoughtful and independent with the choice of their profession along with satisfaction of the choice of their profession; the psychologists with an average level of expression of these parameters of the choice of a profession are characterized by a certain inconsistency at their emotional level both less pronounced meaningfulness, and also they keep a certain distance from people in tensed situations.

In the article, the author reveals the specifics of the competence of forecasting in higher education. In the article, the author identifies two areas in the framework of which the competence of forecasting is considered – as a personal quality and as a "through" skill required in any professional activity. As a result of empirical research, differences were revealed in the conditionality of readiness for professional self-determination, depending on the development of forecasting components. Thus, for students unready for professional self-determination, such components of self-regulation as "planning", "programming", "evaluating results", "flexibility", "independence", are caused by changes in mood, well-being, activity. For students ready for professional self-determination, these same components of self-regulation are determined by the strength of the intentions of young men, the development of volitional qualities, the ability of individual regulation of activity and all regulatory links. Making a conclusion, the author focuses on the role of a teacher at a higher educational organisation in the development of forecasting competence.

The paper deals with professional values of journalism students. The grounds for research are the transformation of values in journalists’ professional activity that occurs under conditions of society mediatization and development of new information and communication technologies. The consequences of this transformation include problems like publication of non-validated / non-authentic information, distortion of facts, imposing a false agenda. Media experts are engaged in active debates on preserving the journalists’ professional ethics. In this regard, a need emerges to study professional and value orientations of students – future journalists who are beginning to get acquainted with this profession at a higher education institution. The object of our research was students from Journalism Faculty of the Ural Federal University and the University for Humanities. The research included an online survey of students (n = 202), as well as two interviews with Faculty Heads for profound understanding of the situation in the contemporary journalism education. The findings evidence that fact checking, accuracy and integrity are among the top professional values of journalism students. A journalist, in students’ view, is an innovator capable of creating unique content; their purpose is disclosing the truth and helping people. We can therefore conclude that students respond to value demands of the media environment and at the same time they are oriented at reproducing the traditional principles of journalism ethics, despite media experts’ doubts of preserving professional values in contemporary journalism.

Data marketplaces are expected to play a crucial role in tomorrow’s data economy but hardly achieve commercial exploitation. Currently, there is no clear understanding of the knowledge gaps in data marketplace research, especially neglected research topics that may contribute to advancing data marketplaces towards commercialization. This study provides an overview of the state of the art of data marketplace research. We employ a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach and structure our analysis using the Service-TechnologyOrganization-Finance (STOF) model. We find that the extant data marketplace literature is primarily dominated by technical research, such as discussions about computational pricing and architecture. To move past the first stage of the platform’s lifecycle (i.e., platform design) to the second stage (i.e., platform adoption), we call for empirical research in non-technological areas, such as customer expected value and market segmentation.
