ABSTRACTDuring the COVID-19 pandemic era, the government has implemented a new strategy of health protocol called Adaptation of New Habits to prevent COVID -19 virus spread. By implementing such protocol, it is expected that health and economic sectors can be handled well. The research aims to discover the implementation of health protocol in Indonesia’s food and beverage business, and to analyze factors that support and hamper its implementation.  This research was cross-sectional research with direct observation and brief interviews with 16 food and beverage business places. Observations and interviews were guided using a checklist derived from government policies set by the ministry of health and commerce then the data will be analyzed descriptively. This research shows that the implementation health protocol remained far from expectations. Moreover, business activity, management system, and the awareness of employers, employees, as well as consumers, became a critical key in health protocol implementation. Comprehending the dangers of COVID-19 and committing to comply with health protocols are imperatives to succeed in the health protocol implementation.  Keywords: Adaptation of New Habits, Health Protocol of COVID-19 Pandemic, evaluating health protocols implementation

The Covid-19 pandemic, which impacted the health, social, and economic sectors as a non-natural disaster, led the President to make efforts to handle it with state financial policies by stipulating Perpu Number 1 of 2020. Budget misuse during the Covid-19 pandemic should be punishable by the death penalty because carried out when the state is facing a precarious situation; however, in Perpu No.1/2020, the Government grants immunity rights state budget managers. This legal immunity needs to be studied as a standard-issue regarding the state budget to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to examine the pandemic's impact on state finances and how Government policies are in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a normative juridical approach with data obtained from the literature, and the results were analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the Government changing the output of the use of the state budget aimed at dealing with the pandemic and restoring the country's economic condition due to the pandemic; the legal solution is to stipulate Perpu Number 1 of 2020, which was then approved by the DPR and became Law Number 2 2020. At the technical, operational level, the Government has also issued various policy regulations as a follow-up to Law Number 2 of 2020, which is used as an effort to deal with precarious situations as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, such as fiscal policy stimulus, taxes, social assistance, and policies. Adjustment of regional finances. The problem that was considered urgent due to the Covid-19 pandemic led the Government to stimulate immunity in Law Number 2 of 2020. However, this immunity is given following the principle of good faith for users of state finances

Latin American governments are attempting to close the digital divide by enacting policies to increase access to information technologies. This cross-sectional time-series analysis of nineteen countries between 1990 and 2001 examines government policies and Internet usage. Based on the social shaping of technology perspective, this study finds Internet use is strongly associated with wealth and the telecommunications infrastructure. The government policy with the strongest influence on increasing access is changing the tariff structure—such as creating flat-price dialing schemes. Market liberalization and the worldwide spread of the Internet are also associated with increased access.

In the preparation of financial statements based on financial accounting standards is an improvement in quality of financial statements, which will leverage the credibility of the financial statements in question. The research’s object to be studied are MSMEs in Food and Beverage Sector. The formulation of the problem in this study is, a. How is the preparation of MSME financial statements in the Food and Beverage sector based on EMKM SAK in Tlogomas Sub-District, Malang City, b. What are the constraints faced by MSMEs in the Food and Beverage Sector in implementing EMKM SAK in Tlogomas Sub-District Malang, c. What strategy model is effective from the government so that MSMEs can apply the SAK EMKM optimally. This research method used a combination of research methods (Mixed Methods). With adequate accounting, MSME entrepreneurs can fulfill the requirements in applying for credit, such as making financial reports. The researcher offers a model for the application of electronic-based financial reporting, this is to attract investors to contribute their capital, considering that currently entering the free market. This program also makes easier for the Bank to read the financial statements of micro entities.

Soybean farming in Indonesia, as well as in other countries in the world, has an important role in providing food for the population, food ingredients for the food and beverage industry, and feed ingredients. Some policies have been implemented by the government to increase the profitability, efficiency and competitiveness of soybean farming. This study used the Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) method to assess the competitiveness of soybean farming and evaluate the effectiveness of government policies in soybean farming. The results showed that soybean farming had a competitive advantage and comparative advantage. The results of the sensitivity analysis indicate that output price policy is an effective instrument to increase the profitability and competitiveness of soybean farming in Indonesia.

The Covid-19 pandemic brings new challenges to people around the world, including Indonesia. In Indonesia, the Covid-19 pandemic is still an unresolved problem. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, besides threatening health and the economy, it is also exacerbated by government policies. Conflicting policies hinder obstacles in handling the Covid-19 pandemic. The need for a solution in the form of the formation of an umbrella act to overcome the conditions caused by the covid-19 pandemic, which covers the health and economic sectors, can be a solution to the conflicts applied by the Government, and the Umbrella Act can answer the Government's confusion in overcoming this pandemic. This study uses a normative method that discusses legal aspects by critically analyzing library materials applicable to laws and regulations. Umbrella actions can go beyond conflicting with an integrated rule. The Umbrella act can be applied in Indonesia and can be a solution to overcome the number of cases of the Covid-19 pandemic, which is still relatively high. With the Umbrella Act, the Government's responsibility will be fulfilled to provide legal protection to the community. The Umbrella Act, which has been proven to overcome conflicting regulations, will solve the current emergency. With the Umbrella Act, the Government's responsibility will fulfill to provide legal protection to society.

This study uses a randomly selected sample of 100 female employees of telecommunication sector of Rawalpindi-lslamabad area and tries to analyze whether government policies and private sector human resource practices exist to promote favorable environment for female job participation. The study's results indicate that female employment-participation rate estimates at 32.28 percent, suggesting that a little less than one-third of females get employment in research area understudy. The respondents' perception on government pol¬ icy and private sector organizational HR practices regarding female job participation are found positive; however,females still feel the necessity of making their jobs more secured and their work worthwhile. Econometrically estimated relation ship suggests that female educational levels determine the female job participation at the first place, and government policy helps determine the private sector organizational HR practices and policies, which further affect and encourage the female job participation. The results suggest that,for a more effective private sector female participation, the government policies need to be further strengthened and made substantiated. For future research, this study provides a base-model which may be replicated to evaluate public and private sector roles in determining female job participation of other economic sectors of Pakistan's economy.

This study examines the concept of Hybrid Event as a new strategy that is considered reliable enough for fishing communities in Makassar to face new normal conditions. New economic spaces have been created for fishermen and UMKM fishermen who have been affected by Covid-19. The old economic spaces are no longer reliable because they are constrained by laws and regulations from the government that require restrictions on social distancing and physical distancing. The purpose of this study was to analyze the readiness of the fishing community and fishermen UMKM actors in Beba, Tamasaju Village, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency to enter business era 4.0 in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and assist the realization of government policies in providing socio-economic protection to fishing communities and as well as UMKM fishermen in Makassar. The resulting output is in the form of four (4) main strategies: first, combining physical and virtual meetings, so that fishermen's businesses and businesses and fishermen's UMKM continue to run in various different atmospheres. Second, health protocols such as maintaining physical distance and social distance are not violated and at the same time the pace of economic activity of fishing communities and fishing UMKM can still run normally. Third, empowering fishing communities and fishing UMKM  in using appropriate information technology. And fourth, the government's budget policy for fishing communities and fishing UMKM that are oriented to the provision of appropriate information technology

Background: The government has set various policies in order to control the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). However, these efforts have not run optimally so that people who violate health protocols are still found which have an impact on increasing cases of Covid-19. The purpose of this study is to describe the public's perception of the implementation of government policies regarding the prevention of Covid-19 in Tikala District, Manado City.. Methode: This study was an observational study with a cross sectional study design. This research was conducted in Tikala District, Manado City in August 2020. The subjects in this study were 100 family heads who met the inclusion criteria. The research variable is the public's perception of the implementation of government policies in an effort to prevent Covid-19. The research data were analyzed by univariate. Presentation of data is made in table and narrative form. Result: The results of this study indicate that as many as 10% of the public think that the government has implemented policies in an effort to prevent Covid 19. The policies with the lowest value are efforts to disseminate information to the public about Covid-19. In addition, government supervision of the use of masks, measuring body temperature and ownership of health documents from health institutions from the public is still around 11%. This indicates that the government's efforts are still not maximal in implementing policies on preventing Covid-19. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the government has not implemented a policy to prevent Covid-19 properly, especially in socialization and supervision efforts. Therefore, massive socialization and supervision efforts must be made and carried out jointly by the government and all stakeholders in the region in order to reduce the rate of increase in Covid 19.

Every business or start-up was e-ray by the government official ranging from local, state and federal level in Nigeria. Therefore, for SMEs to operate it’s a perquisite to follow the due process from registration by ministry of commerce and industry at state level and the various agencies responsible for registration. This challenge represents both widespread personal misfortune for individuals and a lost opportunity for critical national and global economic development. This study examines the challenges that affect the growth and development of small and medium enterprises in Bauchi state, Nigeria .The study was guided by an epistemological research philosophy adopting a positivist research paradigm. The research design was cross-sectional survey design using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The target population for this study was 754 registered small and medium scale owned enterprises registered with the Bauchi state government by December 2019 and the sample size was 172 respondents derived using Fisher’s formulae. This study used a self-administered, closed, and open-ended questionnaire to obtain quantitative data. The study used descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation, median and proportions using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24 and Microsoft Excel. Regression analysis and correlation analysis were used to determine the direction and strength of the relationship between the independent and the dependent variables.. The questionnaires were administered among the seventy (70) management staff members of the one hundred and seventy two (172) selected SMEs in Bauchi state Nigeria through purposive sampling method, and this was done personally by the researcher. Descriptive and inferential statistics was use to analyze and interpret the data use in this research. The study reveals that government policies is a major challenges that help SMEs to grow and achieve its stated objectives in global competitive environment. On same vain this study is so keen and motivated to established evidence on these challenges ascertain especially, in a context of current phenomena SMEs face in Bauchi state. Finally, the study will utilize the element of contingency theory, as these SMEs require sound institutional framework to mitigate these challenges. However, anecdotal evidence shows that SMEs in developing countries like Nigeria are faced with a lot of challenges that have hampered their growth in recent times. Among these challenges are: intermittent power supply, indiscriminate tax levies government policy, low accessibility to loans from financial institutions and inability to keep proper financial records. The study reveals that Government policies have a significant impact on the growth and development of SMEs in Bauchi State, Nigeria. Subsequently, the study recommends that management of SMEs should adopt good strategy in order to overcome these challenges.

Background: The hawking of wares by children has been a serious issue confronting the Nigerian society. Children hawk in some of the most horrible conditions conceivable, where they face a serious risk of injury, chronic illness, kidnapping, rape or death. Objective: The focus of this study was to assess the perceived effects of street hawking on the well-being of children in Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State. Methods: The population of this study consists of parents of the street hawkers in Anyigba while cross-sectional survey design was used through the purposive sampling technique to choose the sample size of one hundred and sixty-two (162) respondents. The validated structured questionnaire and In-Depth Interviews (IDIs) served as the instruments for the data collection respectively. The hypotheses were tested using Chi-Square at a predetermined 0.05 level of significance. The quantitative data were analysed with the aid of the SPSS (version 20). Results: The results indicated among others that street hawking had significant social implications and physical consequences on children's moral behaviour as well as health status in the study area. Conclusion: The study, therefore, concluded that the government of Kogi State should carry out an enlightenment campaign through the media and religious institutions on the negative consequences of street hawking are recommended as panacea. Also, the child right act instrument and its implementation should be strengthened in order to curb street hawking in the study area.
