Abstract Background : Low pregnancy planning can cause unwanted pregnancy, abortion, loss of reproductive health, domestic violence until death. 40% of 85 million pregnancies in the world are unplanned and 38% end with abortions, miscarriage and unplanned childbirth. Unplanned pregnancy are associated with an increased risk of birth outcomes, including preterm birth, low birth weight (LBW), high risk of congenital anomalies, and developmental delay. Most woman who have plan to get pregnant don’t prepare their pregnancy as well. Women who have children (Multiparous) having unreadiness of pregnancy as same as women who do not have children (Nulliparous). Therefore, pregnancy planning is required to avoid risks so that women become more prepared on facing the pregnancy. This study aimed to analyze the differences behaviour toward readiness of pregnancy among pregnancy women based on parity. Method : This study used observational analytical research with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used was total sampling which was conducted for 2 months and the sample obtained 92 pregnant women (include nulliparous, primiparous and multiparous) who met the inclusion criteria. The collected data was analyzed by Fisher Exact levels with a degree of α = 0.05. Result : The study showed there were 12 respondents who ready to face pregnancy. Meanwhile, there were 80 respondents who were not ready enough to face pregnancy, it was based on the result of Fisher Exact test with the value obtained was P value = 0.223 (P > 0.223). Conclusion : This showed that there was no difference of attitudes about pregnancy readiness of nulliparous, primiparous and multiparous woman

Wasting on children is an important public health problem because of its considerable impact on their health and growth. This problem could lead to iron deficiency which could induce infection disease and probably lower a child’s intelligence as a long-term effect. This study aimed to analyze factors related to wasting on 12-59 months children in Bulili Public Health Center (PHC), Palu City. The analytical descriptive study designed with a cross-sectional approach was applied in this study. One hundred and twenty-one subject was selected from 283 children with purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed with chi-square and Fisher exact test with significant (p < 0,05). The result showed that most children with low birth weight experienced wasting with a p-value = 0,000. Most of the children from higher-income families did not experience wasting with a p-value = 0,004. Most children who didn’t receive breastfeeding milk did not experience wasting with a p-value = 0,958. This study concluded a correlation between low birth weight and income to wasting, but breastfeeding practice was not related.

Dates are a good source of nutrition for the body if consumed regularly both in the form of dried fruit, wet, as well as in the form of palm juice extracts, especially for pregnant and maternal mothers. Pregnant women who are going to give birth are in desperate need of drinks and foods that are rich in sugar, this is because of the many contractions of the uterine muscles when it comes to removing the baby, especially if it takes a long time. Dates contain potuchin hormone which functions to bind the uterus and muscles of the uterus so that it can help reduce postpartum bleeding. Besides, there is the hormone oxytocin which can help stimulate contractions in the muscles of the uterus so as to facilitate labor. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of consumption of dates on bleeding, length of labor and type of labor. This type of research is a Pre experiment with a post-test Only Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were all pregnant women in the working area of South Klaten Public Health Center with estimated deliveries from July to September 2018. While the sample size was 60 samples consisting of 30 treatment group respondents and 30 control group respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was Quota sampling. Data analysis using Fisher Exact test and Mann-Whitney U test with p-value considered significant is p = 0.05. The results of the study of bleeding showed that there were no significant differences in the estimation of blood loss and during labor and type of delivery between the treatment group and the control group (p-value = 0.5). The results of the study about the length of labor showed that there was an effect of date consumption on the length of labor, with a value of p = 0,000

The incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia is quite high at 25.91%. Cervical cancer can be detected early with VIA test. VIA test is one of the first steps to detect abnormalities in the cervix. VIA test is an easy check, cheap, and can be done by the midwife. However, the coverage of VIA test in Indonesia is still low about 2.45% of the target coverage determined by the government that is 80%. The low coverage of VIA test screening in Indonesia is influenced by the low knowledge of women. Women's low knowledge will influence their participation in screening. This research uses cross-sectional method approach. The sample in this study is Women of Childbearing Age aged 15-49 years in the working area of Puskesmas Soreang. Sampling uses proportional stratified random sampling technique with a sample size of 76 respondents. Data analysis uses Fisher Exact Test. The results show that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitude of WUS with p value = 0.000 (p > 0.005). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitude of WUS on VIA test for early detection of cervical cancer.

ABSTRACT The spraying process is a condition where workers are very likely to be exposed to toxic chemicals contained in pesticides. Problems encountered in the field, workers do not spray with the correct method and do not use a complete PPE. The danger that can occur when spraying is a disturbance in the enzyme Cholinesterase (CHE) in the blood. CHE is an enzyme that is in the body's tissues has a role to keep nerve cells, muscles and glands working properly. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to CHE levels in spraying workers. The research design used analytical research with cross sectional approach. The population was 30 spraying workers. The sampling technique used a total population of 30 people. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis tested by Fisher Exact Test statistical test. Data obtained by questionnaire and examination of CHE levels through blood samples. The results with bivariate analysis revealed p-value of each variable, namely age .143>.05, gender 1,000>.05, education level .374>.05, years of service .071>.05, duration of exposure .02<.05, spraying method 0,000<.05, the last spraying time was .210>.05 and PPE .001 <.05. The conclusion shows that there is a relationship between the length of exposure to pesticides, how to spray and PPE with CHE levels. The birth weight (BW) are utilized as indicators of the healthy and term newborns. Factor that affects the weight of a newborn are micronutrient intake and family economic status. Folic acid and iron (Fe) were associated with birth weight. Family economic status towards the inability of households in eating conditions that will affect the nutritional status of the pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between intake of folic acid, iron (Fe) and family economic status with birth weight. This research method was an analytic observational using a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were 114 pregnant women living in Yogyakarta. The data collected, subject characteristic, intake of folic acid and iron and the birth weight. Data analysis used the Fisher exact test with p value <0.05. Statistical test results proved a significant relationship between the intake of folic acid and iron (Fe) with the birth weight (p<0.05). There was no significant relationship between economic status and the birth weight (p>0.05). Pregnant women with adequate folic acid intake, iron intake tended to give birth with normal birth weight. While a good economic status does not necessarily affect the weight of newborns.
