Abstract. This study aims to minimize the difficulty of learning mathematics students by applying learning with a constructivist approach. This classroom action research was conducted on class VIII students of SMP PGRI 3 Banjarmasin, which amounted to 30 people, for 3 cycles. Data collection was done by test and non-test techniques, using learning outcomes tests, observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that (1) student activity in learning increased to 93%; (2) student responses to learning is fun; and (3) student learning completeness increases to 97%. Thus, it can be concluded that mathematics learning with a constructivist approach is able to minimize the difficulty of learning mathematics students on the topic straight line equations. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meminimalkan kesulitan belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konstruktivis. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP PGRI 3 Banjarmasin yang berjumlah 30 orang, selama 3 siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan non tes, menggunakan tes hasil belajar, lembar pengamatan, dan angket respon siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuntitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 93%; (2) respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran adalah menyenangkan; dan (3) ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 97%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan konstruktivis mampu meminimalkan kesulitan belajar matematika siswa pada topik persamaan garis lurus. Kata kunci: pendekatan konstruktivis, kesulitan belajar, aktivitas siswa, persamaan garis lurus.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif (Descriptive Research). Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 34 orang peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada materi lingkaran. Berdasarkan hasil deskriptif hasil belajar matematika peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi lebih meningkat. AbstrakBanyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar matematika, namun guru tidak mempunyai banyak informasi, sehingga guru tidak dapat memberikan solusi yang terbaik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan respon siswa, hasil belajar siswa, serta mndeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan jurnal reflektif. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan subjek siswa kelas VII-E di SMPN 6 Sidoarjo. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket respon siswa, tes hasil belajar, dan wawancara. Analisis data kemampuan komunikasi (tulis, lisan) diperoleh dari skor yang diperoleh masing-masing subjek berdasarkan rubrik komunikasi matematis tulis dan lisan, kemudian ditentukan level kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan didapat bahwa ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa 75% (rerata 78,6), respon siswa baik (3,36), kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa rendah, sedang dan tinggi masing-masing pada tingkat 3, 4 dan 5.  Penggunaan jurnal reflektif dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat melatih kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan hasil belajar siswa. AbstractMany students have difficulty learning mathematics, but the teacher does not have much information, so the teacher cannot provide the best solution. The purpose of this study was to describe student responses, student learning outcomes, and to describe students' mathematical communication skills in mathematics learning using reflective journals. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative and quantitative approach with the subject of class VII-E students at SMPN 6 Sidoarjo. The instruments used include student response questionnaires, learning outcomes tests, and interviews. Data analysis on communication skills (written, oral) was obtained from the scores obtained by each subject based on written and oral mathematical communication rubrics, then determined the level of students' mathematical communication skills. Based on the results and discussion, it was found that the completeness of student learning outcomes was 75% (mean 78.6), student responses were good (3.36), students' mathematical communication skills were low, medium, and high at levels 3, 4 and 5 respectively. reflective in mathematics learning can train mathematical communication skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract:This study developed a mathematics learning tool based on the RME approach on the STAD arrangement on the subject of valid, practical, and effective on linear equations of two variables in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. The type of research used was Research Research and Development (R & D) with the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan that is defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The test subjects were the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. The instruments used were expert validation sheets, learning outcome tests, observation sheets of teachers' ability to manage learning, student activity observation sheets, student response questionnaires on student books and LKPD, and observation sheets learning Media. The results of the learning test stated that: 1) valid, with the results of validation in the form of RPP, student books, and LKPD are in a very valid category. 2) practical, with observations of the implementation of learning devices in the category being fully implemented. 3) effective, with learning test results showing 84% of students have complete grades, average learning management is on high criteria, student activities are in good category, student responses to student books and LKPD are positive.Abstrak:Penelitian ini mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis pendekatan RME setting kooperatif tipe STAD pada pokok bahasan persamaan linear dua variabel yang valid, praktis, dan efektif di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research dan Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4-D oleh Thiagarajan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek ujicoba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli, tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, lembar observasi aktivitas Peserta Didik, angket respon Peserta Didik terhadap buku Peserta Didik dan LKPD, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil ujicoba perangkat pembelajaran menyatakan bahwa: 1) valid, dengan hasil validasi berupa RPP, buku Peserta Didik dan LKPD berada pada kategori sangat valid. 2) praktis, dengan hasil pengamatan keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran berada pada kategori terlaksana seluruhnya. 3) efektif, dengan tes hasil belajar menunjukkan 84% Peserta Didik memiliki nilai tuntas, rata-rata pengelolaan pembelajaran berada pada kriteria tinggi, ativitas Peserta Didik dalam kategori baik, respons Peserta Didik terhadap buku Peserta Didik dan LKPD positif.

<p>The research is an experiment conducted in SMA Negeri 8 Tangerang City, Banten, on the influence of learning and use of media interest in learning of mathematics learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the <br />influence of media use to learn and interest in learning mathematics learning <br />outcomes. (Experiment In Student Class XI IPA SMAN 8 Tangerang City Year <br />Lesson 2010/2011). The research method used is an experimental method using <br />the technique "factor analysis" with "Two Way Anova", aided by SPSS version <br />15.0. The results of the analysis studies suggest that: 1) There is the media's <br />influence on the learning outcomes of mathematics learning, 2) There is interest <br />in studying the influence on the results of studying mathematics, and 3) There is no interaction between the learning outcomes of students with interest in learning mathematics students. </p>

The formulation of the problem in this research are: (1) How the result of learning mathematics of students after taught by SAVI learning model?, (2) How the result of learning mathematics of students after taught by NHT learning model?, (3) Is the result of learning mathematics of students who taught with SAVI learning model is higher than students taught by NHT learning model. The purpose of this study are: (1) To know how the results of learning mathematics students after teaching with SAVI learning model, (2) To find out how the results of learning mathematics students after being taught with NHT learning model, (3) To determine whether the results of learning mathematics students taught by SAVI learning models higher than students taught by NHT learning models. Type of research using experimental method. The population in this study is all students of class X spread in 11 parallel classes with the number of 310 people. Sampling was done by using cluster random sampling technique. In this research as a sample taken 2 classes from the entire population that is class X A3 as experiment class 1 using SAVI learning model and class X A1 as experiment class 2 using NHT learning model. From result of data analysis obtained that: (1) result of student learning taught by using SAVI learning model which consist of 25 students show minimum value 62, maximum value 96, mean (mean) 80,36, with standard deviation 9,10; (2) student learning outcomes taught using NHT learning model consisting of 25 students showing minimum score 62, maximum value 96, mean (mean) 79,62, with standard deviation 10,512; (3) result of t-test analysis using independent sample t-test obtained tcount = 0,302 at = 0,05 with degrees of freedom (dk) = 48 obtained t table = 2,011. Because t <t table then Ha is rejected and H0 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught with the SAVI model was not higher than the students taught by the NHT model.

This study examines the use of interactive multimedia that can be effectively used in the learning process on the three dimensional material, to answer this problem, the research uses data collection techniques with teacher ability observation sheet, student activity observation sheet, test of learning result, and student response questionnaire. Data processing in this study using simple statistics with percentage and t-test. Achievement of the effectiveness of learning by using interactive multimedia is based on; the ability of teachers to manage learning, student activities during learning, student responses to learning and learning mastery. From the results of this study found that, the use of interactive multimedia effectively used in learning on the material dimension three in class X SMA 3 Banda Aceh. This is shown from the aspect of the ability of the teacher to manage the learning that is in the good category that is the score 4.13, the completeness of learning outcomes by 80% and student response results that show more than 90% of students interested in the appearance of illustration / interactive multimedia images and are interested to follow further learning. So it can be concluded the use of interactive multimedia, effectively used in learning on the material dimension three in class X SMA Negeri 3 Banda Aceh.

            This study aims to describe the application of the quantum learning model in the material of the central angle, the circumference of the circumference and the area of circle circle in class VIII students in terms of the ability of the teacher to manage learning, student learning outcomes, student learning activities, and student responses. The design of this study uses the One-Shot Case Study. The subjects of this study were class VIII B SMPN 5 Jombang. Data collection techniques used the test, observation, and questionnaire methods using the instrument of student learning outcomes test sheets, observation sheets the ability of teachers to manage learning, observation sheets of student activities and student response questionnaires. Based on the results of data analysis shows that: (1) student learning outcomes complete and meet the KKM. Classically, student learning outcomes are 76.67%. While individually students completed 23  from 30 student . (2) the ability of the teacher to manage learning from the observed aspects as a whole obtain an average score of 4 including in the excellent category. (3) student activities during learning, from the results of the study showed the percentage of overall student activity of 77.78% included in the active category. This research is a quasi-experimental research with an experimental design aimed at: 1) know the influence of the presentation of material in the form of comic media and without comic media on student mathematics learning outcomes; 2) know the interaction of the presentation of the material with learning motivation towards student mathematics learning outcomes; 3) find out whether the results of learning mathematics students who have high learning motivation and are taught by presenting material in the form of comic media is higher than without using comic media; 4)find out whether the results of learning mathematics students who have low learning motivation and are taught by presenting material in the form of comic media is higher than without using comic media. This research involved all SMP in Kab. Gowa. Determination of the sample is done by selecting an A accredited school, while determining the class as a sampling unit using the Purposive Sampling technique with the selected class having more dominant reading interest. So that class VIIIA was chosen at SMP Neg. 1 Sungguminasa as an experimental class and Class VIIIB in SMP Neg. 4 Sungguminasa as a control class. Variables consist of free variables and bound variables. Free variables presented in the form of a comic media and learning motivation while bound variables using the student maths result. The learning tools developed consists of students book (comic media), students worksheet book (comic media) and lesson plan. The data collected in this study were students 'learning motivation obtained using the learning motivation questionnaire instrument and students' mathematics learning outcomes were obtained using the mathematics learning achievement test instrument. Analysis of student mathematics learning outcomes test results using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis namely ANAVA and independent sample t-test. The results that:1) there is an influence between the presentation of material in the form of comic media and the presentation of material without using comic media on student mathematics learning outcomes; 2) there is no interaction of the presentation of the material with learning motivation on student mathematics learning outcomes; 3) mathematics learning outcomes of students who have high learning motivation and are taught by presenting material in the form of comic media are higher than without using comic media; 4) mathematics learning outcomes of students who have low learning motivation and are taught by presenting material in the form of comic media are higher than without using comic media.

This study aims to analyze conceptual understanding and increase student interest in learning by using assignment techniques in the form of material and SPLDV questions and also an assessment questionnaire. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects who were the research targets were class VIII in MASS PP IRSYADUL ISLAMAH totaling 35 students. The research instrument used was an assignment questionnaire and an interest in learning outcomes. The material is used to provide understanding of the assignment and see the students' interest in learning the assessment subject. Seeing the interest in learning in student assignment techniques in solving problems with SPDLV Mathematics learning questions, students were given an assessment questionnaire on how the teacher applied Mathematics learning. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student interest in learning, The increase in research resulted in 11 highest numbers of learning interest, 21 moderate numbers and 3 were in the lowest numbers in student interest in learning. From the results of this study the researchers succeeded in suppressing the lowest number and increasing the highest number of students' understanding and interest in solving problems in learning mathematics. The results of the student's interest in learning obtained an increase in interest in learning by 6.58% in MASS PP IRSYADUL ISLAMAH.

This study was conducted based on low learning outcomes, especially in mathematics subjects and know the influence of Brain Based Learning model of learning toward mathematics learning. This research uses experimental method. The instrument used in this study is the instrument of mathematics learning results in the form of a description test, and the scale of attitudes containing statements of student attitudes toward learning mathematics. The data collected then dioal with rock SPSS 17.0 For Windows. Then proceed with the test of normality, homogeneity and equality of two averages using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained conclusion: (1) the results of learning mathematics students who use learning Brain Based Learning is better than conventional learning. (2) students are positive towards learning mathematics after using Brain Based Learning learning.
