<div align="center"><table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="543"><p>This research purpose is (1) to know the difference of learning outcomes from the utilization of video tutorials and peer tutors (2) to find out the effectiveness between the utilization of video tutorials and peer tutors  towards students’s learning outcomes on 2 dimensional Animation Technique subject at second grade.</p><p>Research method used in this research is quantitative method of quasi experimental with pre-test and post-test type. Data collection techniques in this reasearch with (1) observation (2) t test by using a pre-test and post-test (3) and documentation.</p><p>The results obtained from this research are (1) there are differences of learning outcomes of students between utilization of video tutorial and peer tutors with the calculated of post-test value of each class using the t test independet amounted to 0,032. (2) the utilization of peer tutors in this research is more effective than the utilization of video tutorials, this calculation outcomes obtained from a test of gain in each class. On video tutorial class gets the calculation outcomes of 0.32, while on peer tutor class gets the calculation outcomes of 0.58.</p></td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="543"><p>Keywords: video tutorials, peer tutor, 2 dimensional animation, learning outcomes</p></td></tr></tbody></table></div>

This study aims to 1) find out the differences in Javanese language speaking skills in groups of students who are treated using the vlogging assignment method with groups of students who only use the conventional method or without the vlogging method. 2) find out the effectiveness of learning using the vlogging method to the learning outcomes of Javanese speaking skills in class X students of SMAN 1 Kedungwuni. This research is quasi-experimental research. The research data were obtained from quantitative and qualitative data, namely interviews and test results. The data analysis technique used a t-test, distribution normality test, and variant homogeneity test. The validity of the study was obtained based on expert judgment. The results of this study indicate that 1) there are differences in learning outcomes of Javanese language speaking skills in groups of students who are treated using vlogging assignments with groups of students who only use conventional methods. In the post-test, the mean value of the experimental class students taught by using the vlogging assignment method was 84.61, the value was greater than the average control class result of 77.89. 2) the vlogging assignment method is more effective in improving the Javanese language speaking skills of class X students of SMAN 1 Kedungwuni. The effectiveness of the vlogging assignment method is proven through the t-test on the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental and control groups. The difference in the average value of pre-test and post-test in the experimental class. is higher in the experimental class that is equal to 21.44> 14.89 in the control class. These results indicate that the experimental group with the vlogging method is more effective in improving students' Javanese speaking skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model (TSTS) to the history of student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 7 Medan. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The study population was students of class X IPS with a sample of 65 students consisting of 34 students of class X IPS 2 as an experimental class and 31 students of class X IPS 1 as a control class. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. The observation results showed that 91% of the experimental class students who took part in learning with the TSTS model got very good average scores. The average post-test value of the experimental class was 80.3, while the average value of the post-test of the control class that followed the learning with the conventional model was 63.70. T-test results for the post-test scores were obtained tcount > ttable (7,004 > 1,670).These results indicate that the TSTS learning model has a great influence in improving the history of student learning outcomes in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 7 Medan.

ABSTRAK : Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemanfaatan kecanggihan teknologi di era globalisasi sebagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Dalam hal ini peneliti membuat inovasi untuk menggunakan aplikasi instagram pada proses pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi Instagram terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V mata pelajaran Matematika materi Volume Bangun Ruang di SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental). Berdasarkan dari hasil dan pembahasan diperoleh simpulan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi instagram terhadap hasil belajar siwa kelas V Mata Pelajaran Matematika materi Volume Bangun Ruang di SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo Sidoarjo. Hal tersebut dilihat dari hasil uji independent t-test yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (2- tailled) ≤ 0,05 yang bernilai 0,017 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. ABSTRACT : This research is based on the rapid development of information technology that can be used in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Instagram application on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in Mathematics in the material of Space Volume at SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo Sidoarjo. This type of research is experimental research. The research design used is Quasi Experimental or quasi-experimental. The population used in this studyis class V at SDN Bakung Temenggungan. The sample used in this study is nonprability sampling, namely class A as many as 20 students and class B 20 students. The data collection technique was carried out in three stages, namely pretest, treatment, and post test. The data analysis technique used the normality test, homogeneity test and t test. The conclusion of this research is the influence of the Instagram application on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in mathematics subject matter volume building space at SDN Bakung Temenggungan Balongbendo Sidoarjo. Recommendations for further research are to use the Instagram application as a learning medium for both mathematics and other subjects

The Difference Of Salivary pH Between Rinsing and without Rinsing with Drinking Water After Chewing Simple Carbohydrate. Salivary pH is one of indicator in oral health. One factor that influences salivary pH is diet. Diet simple carbohydrates decrease salivary pH. Rinsing with drinking water suspected that can increase salivary pH. to know how the difference of salivary pH between rinsing and without rinsing with drinking water after chewing simple carbohydrates. Quasi experimental used with pre test and post test design on 40 students as samples. The measurement of salivary pH was done by digital pH meter “Pen Type pH tester”. The test which was used was paired T-test. The result Showed that Salivary pH the rinsing group after chewing was 6.96 ± 0.52 and 7.02 ±0,50 without rinsing. Salivary pH after rinsing minutes to 5 was 6.94 ± 0.52 and 6.79 ±0.52 without rinse. The pH of saliva rinsing the 20th minute was 7.12 ± 0.49 and 6.89 ± 0.50 without rinsing. The results of Paired t-test showed the significant difference from the salivary pH to 5th minute after rinsing and without rinsing with chewing simple carbohydrate foods with p <0.05 (p = 0.009) but, there was no significant difference of salivary pH in the 20th minute and 5 minutes after rinsing and without rinsing  with p> 0.05 (p = 0.140). rinsing by using drinking water can increase the salivary pH after chewing simple carbohydrate foods. Background: The important aspect for child especially children with mental retardation is oral health. Children with mental retardation have limitations in motoric activities that relate to the actions of dental hygiene in normally, that activities is toothbrushing and it can do by bass and horizontal method. The aim of this study is to know the difference effectiveness toothbrushing with bass and horizontal method on the changed of plaque index in children with mental retardation. Method: The quasi experimental methods with non-equivalent group design with post test design was used in this research and have done on 24 children with mild mental retardation at SDLB Purwosari Kudus which divided two groups, 12 students brushing with bass method and 12 students brushing with horizontal method. Result: The data were tested with paired t-test to compare plaque index before and after toothbrushing with bass and horizontal method, showed that there were meaningful differences (p<0,05). Independent t-test to compare the changed of plaque index between both methods, showed that there were no meaningful differences (p>0,05). Conclusion: It concluded that both bass and horizontal method effectively on the changed of plaque index in children with mental retardation. There was no difference effectiveness between both methods.

Abstrak Rendahnya kualitas pendidikan disebabkan oleh hasil belajar siswa di beberapa mata pelajaran yang terbilang rendah. Hal tersebut didukung oleh data hasil belajar PAS IPA siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus Diponegoro Kabupaten Pati yang terbilang rendah. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurang mengetahui model yang cocok digunakan saat pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan model make a match berbantuan kartu bergambar terhadap hasil belajar ipa siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus Diponegoro Kabupaten Pati. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas IV SDN Tambahmulyo 01 sebanyak 18 siswa dan kelas IV SDN Tambahmulyo 02 sebanyak 14 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen, kelas IV SDN Sonorejo sebanyak 26 siswa dan kelas IV SDN Kedungmulyo sebanyak 18 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Data hasil belajar dianalisis menggunakan uji-t untuk menguji perbedaan rata-rata kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan Independent sample t-test menunjukkan jika nilai (2-tailed) < 0,05 ,karena hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolom (2-tailed) yaitu sebesar 0,000 yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0,05. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model make a match berbantuan kartu bergambar efektif digunakan dalam pelajaran IPA. Saran guru dan siswa diharapkan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Make a Match berbantuan kartu bergambar dalam pembelajaran di kelas dan untuk agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sehingga mutu sekolah meningkat. The low quality of education was caused by student learning outcomes in several subjects that are fairly low. This was supported by the data on learning outcomes of the PAS IPA fourth-grade Diponegoro Elementary School in Pati Regency which is relatively low. One of the reasons is not knowing the suitable model to use when learning. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of the models make a match aided by picture cards on the learning outcomes of the fourth-grade students of the Diponegoro Elementary School in Pati Regency. This research used quantitative methods and quasi-experimental research types. The sample of this research divided into 2 clusters, both of the clusters was taken at the fourth-grade. Tambahmulyo 01's Elementary School (18 students) and Tambahmulyo 02's Elementary School (14 students) were as an experimental class, Sonorejo Elementary School (26 students), and Kedungmulyo Elementary School (18 students) were as a control class. Learning outcomes data were analyzed by using a t-test to test the difference in the average of the control class and the experimental class. The results of the Independent sample t-test indicate if the value (2-tailed) <0.05, due to the results of the study indicate the column (2-tailed) is equal to 0,000 which means it is smaller than 0.05. The conclusion of the research from the models make a match aided by picture cards is effectively used in science lessons. The suggestions for teachers and students are expected to apply the Model of Make a Match aided by picture cards in classroom learning and improved the school quality by improving the students learning outcomes.

Learning method approach is one element of increasing student achievement index. In this study will be more focused on efforts to overcome the causes of the low learning outcomes of third semester students of the second semester in the Health Promotion course in the Department of Nursing Ambon. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental. The population in this study were students of Maluku Health Ministry Polytechnic. The sample in this study was the third semester students of the Department of Nursing at the Maluku Ministry of Nursing. Based on the results of the research, Health Promotion learning outcomes using peer tutor learning models are more effective than learning using conventional learning models in terms of improving learning outcomes. This is shown from the results of the t test or the two average difference test where the difference in the average gain value of the experiment with the average gain control value is 0.47 - 0.32 = 0.15, and when interpreted the gain value is relatively low, then from the results of the t test obtained t count = 17.94> t table (2.048) which means H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there are significant changes between student learning outcomes before and after using peer tutoring learning models in learning Health Promotion. ABSTRACT The filariasis mass drug administration (MDA) program is one of the strategies to eliminate lymphatic filariasis. First round coverage in Kuningan Regency was 85.4%, but only 50% of sub-districts have reached the target. The aim of this research was to determine the improvement of knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) of health cadres through intervention to increase the filariasis MDA coverage in Kuningan Regency. A quasi-experimental research was conducted in Cibeureum and Cibingbin Sub-District of Kuningan Regency using pretest-posttest design from May to October 2016. Selected subjects of this research were 32 health cadres who were given intervention in the form of workshop utilizing leaflets, handbooks, and video. The difference is treatment group was taught about filariasis related materials by an expert but the control group was not. Data were analyzed with paired t-test. The result showed that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test in terms of KAP in both groups with p-value of 0,000, but there was no difference in value between the two groups. Thus, the study concluded that training on cadres with a filariasis expert could be an effective strategy as to increase MDA coverage. Keywords: Intervention, filariasis MDA, knowledge, cadre   ABSTRAK Pemberian Obat Massal Pencegahan (POMP) merupakan salah satu strategi eliminasi filariasis di Indonesia. Hasil cakupan POMP putaran pertama di Kabupaten Kuningan mencapai 85,4% dari total target penduduk, namun hanya 50% kecamatan yang mencapainya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku kader setelah dilakukan intervensi dalam rangka meningkatkan cakupan pengobatan filariasis di Kabupaten Kuningan. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Cibeureum dan Cibingbin, Kabupaten Kuningan pada bulan Mei - Oktober tahun 2016 dengan eksperimen semu menggunakan desain  pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian adalah 32 kader yang diberi intervensi berupa pelatihan dengan media cetak  dan video. Perbedaan antara kelompok intervensi dengan kontrol adalah bahwa kelompok intervensi diajarkan materi terkait filariasis oleh seorang ahli dan kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan pelatihan. Data dianalisis menggunakan paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pada skor nilai pretest-posttest pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku pada masing-masing kedua kelompok dengan hubungan bermakna (p-value 0,000), tetapi tidak terdapat perbedaan nilai pretest-posttest antara kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Hal ini berarti tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Kesimpulannya bahwa pelatihan pada kader menggunakan media cetak dan video dengan narasumber pakar filariasis merupakan salah satu strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan cakupan pengobatan POMP filariasis. This study aims to determine the implementation of Arabic learning using the Gallery of Learning strategy and is there an increase in student learning outcomes after the Gallery of Learning learning strategy is applied. This research model uses a quasi-experimental design model (Quasi Experiment) with test techniques (pre-test and post-test), observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis to test the hypothesis proposed using the "t" test through the SPSS 16.0 program as well as the validity test, reliability test, normality test, and homogeneity test. The analysis shows that the implementation of Arabic learning begins with the teacher explaining the material to be learned, then students are divided into 8 groups. The teacher explains the task of the group to discuss the material that has been determined and write the results on paper and put on top of the sponati and make a gallery. Then each group shares an assignment to tour the gallery to find out other material and maintain the gallery to explain the contents of the material to students who visit the gallery. The end of the activity is a reflection and conclusions together on what has been learned. After the implementation of the strategy, it was found that there was no significant increase in student learning outcomes using the Gallery of Learning learning strategy in class XI IPA 1 MAN 4 Sleman. Based on the results of the "t" test, the value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.195> 0.025, then on the basis of Independent Sample t-Test decision making, it is evident that there is a difference in influence between the average experimental group and the control group. However, it is not significant. The results of this analysis can be concluded that the Gallery of Learning learning strategy cannot significantly improve student learning outcomes in Arabic subjects in class XI IPA MAN 4 Sleman. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Arab menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Gallery Of Learning dan adakah peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah diterapkan strategi pembelajaran Gallery Of Learning. Model penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen model desain eksperimen kuasi (Quasi Eksperimen) dengan teknik tes (pre-test dan post-test), observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan menggunakan uji “t” melalui program SPSS 16.0 serta uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, dan uji homogenitas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Arab diawali dengan guru menjelaskan materi yang akan dipelajari, kemudian siswa dibagi menjadi 8 kelompok. Guru menjelaskan tugas kelompok untuk berdiskusi tentang materi yang telah ditentukann dan menuliskan hasilnya di kertas dan ditempelkan di atas sponati dan membuat sebuah galeri. Kemudian setiap kelompok berbagi tugas untuk berkeliling galeri mencari tahu materi yang lain dan menjaga galeri untuk menjelaskan isi materi kepada siswa yang berkunjung ke galerinya. Akhir kegiatan diadakan refleksi dan menyimpulkan bersama terhadap apa yang telah dipelajari. Setelah diterapkannya strategi tersebut diketahui adanya peningkatan yang tidak signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Gallery of Learning di kelas XI IPA 1 MAN 4 Sleman. Berdasarkan hasil uji “t”, nilai Sig.(2-tailed)=0.195>0.025, maka dengan dasar pengambilan keputusan Independent Sample t-Test, terbukti terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara rata-rata kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Namun, tidak signifikan. Hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Gallery of Learning tidak dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan pada mata pelajaran bahasa Arab kelas XI IPA MAN 4 Sleman. ABSTRACTThis study aimed at finding out not only the difference of students’ learning outcomes taught by using peer tutor remedial teaching method and lecturing remedial teaching method on Atomic Structure class at grade XI IPA SMA Negeri I Sanggau but also the influence of the peer tutor remedial teaching methodon Atomic Structure class. Using quasi experimental and Nonequivalent Control Group Designs, this study employed 2 classes as the samples; grade XI IPA 2 class as the experiment group and grade XI IPA I class as the control group. The data collection technique used were measurement, observation, interview, and documentation. While the instruments used were Atomic Structure essay test and remedial test. The results of U Mann Whitneydata analysis  obtained  level of 5%, and probability score of Pvalue (0,043) < (0,05), so that the Ho was rejected dan and the Ha was accepted. In other words, there were significant differences of experiment and control groups. It could be seen from the Effect Size (ES) count of 0,66which considered in average category and Z table which indicated the significant effect to the students’ learning achievement (24,54%) to learning outcomes.Keywords: Remedial Teaching, Peer Tutor Method and Learning Outcomes
