The demands of 21st-century skills highlighted the importance of cooperation between teachers and students to achieve the expected skill. The Pedagogical knowledge of teachers in teaching and technology into things that need to be developed. The pedagogic ability of teachers in the use of technology can be a potential to develop students' abilities argument. This study aims to develop students' ability argumentation through pedagogical knowledge of teachers in using technology. The technology used is the result of the development of student worksheets 3D PageFlip Impulse and Momentum topics. The purpose of this study to look at the ability of students through the application of scientific argumentation (Technological Pedagogic Knowledge) TPK teachers in the classroom. This research is descriptive research. The data collection capability student argumentation performed by administering a written test. The subjects were students of class X at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta Prambanan. Rate scientific argumentation ability of students refers to Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP). The results showed that the complexity of argumentation ability of students still at low level. These results suggest that the ability of the student arguments need to be improved.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui presepsi mahasiswa calon guru fisika terhadap penggunaan PhET Colorado dalam memfasilitasi kemampuan representasi visual mereka dalam pembalajaran fisika. Adapun jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian merupakan mahasiswa magister pendidikan fisika Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta semester pertama tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Hasil penelitian dari 20 responden  menunjukkan bahwa 50% responden sangat tertarik menggunakan  PhET Colorado, dengan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kemampuan representasi visual menggunakan PhET Colorado sebesar 85%, penggunaan PhET Colorado dianggap siswa mampu memfasilitasi kemampuan representasi visual mereka dalam pembelajaran fisika.  AbstractThe demands of 21st century skills highlighted the importance of cooperation between teachers and students to achieve the expected skill. Abstrak: Perkembangan dunia teknologi dan informasi yang semakin pesat dapat memberikan alternatif bagi pendidik untuk menggunakan berbagai media pembelajaran salah satunya yaitu Physics Education and Technology (PhET). Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk menjelaskan tentang 1). Efektivitas penerapan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika, 2) Strategi penerapan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika, serta 3) Kelebihan dan kekurangan media simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran fisika. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berdasarkan filosofi post positivisme dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tri-anggulasi (gabungan), yaitu penelitian kepustakaan melalui pengumpulan data, terutama data verbal seperti buku, artikel, catatan, dan berbagai literatur ilmiah lainnya. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis secara induktif. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan pustaka, analisis data, dan diskusi dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1). Media simulasi PhET secara efektif digunakan untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam mempelajari konsep fisika, 2) media simulasi PhET sangat baik dikombinasikan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri, dan 3) media simulasi PhET memiliki keuntungan yaitu efektif dalam menjelaskan konsep fisika yang sifatnya abstrak, sedangkan kekurangannya adalah bahwa implementasi di sekolah sangat tergantung pada unit komputer yang tersedia.Kata kunci: Simulasi Interaktif PhET, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Pembelajaran FisikaAbstract: The rapid development of technology and information world can provide an alternative for educators to use various learning media, one of which is Physics Education and Technology (PhET). The purpose of this review is to explain 1). The effectiveness of the application of PhET simulation media in the physics learning process, 2) The strategy of applying the PhET simulation media in the physics learning process, and 3) The anvantages and disanvantages of the PhET simulation media in the physics learning process. The writing of this article uses a qualitative method based on a post positivisme philosophy with data collection techniques in the form of tri-anggulation (combined), namely library research through data collection, especially verbal data such as books, articles, notes, and various other scientific literature. The data collected is then analyzed inductively. Based on the results of literature review, data analysis, and discussion it can be concluded that 1). PhET simulation media are effectively used to help teachers and students in learning physics concepts, 2) PhET simulation media are very well combined with inquiry learning models, and 3) PhET simulation media has the advantages of being effective in explaining abstract physical concepts, while the disadvantages is that the implementation in schools is very dependent on the computer units available.Keywords: PhET Interactive Simulations, Guided Inquiry, Physics Learning

AbstractThis study aims to describe the teachers’ abilities and obstacles in making HOTS questions in the thematic learning of social studies for class V at MI Jombor, Semarang. This study used a descriptive research method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study concluded that: (1) the teachers did not have good understanding and ability in making HOTS questions of the thematic learning of social studies, and (2) MI Jombor had not been able to apply the curriculum 2013, which was oriented to HOTS learning and the teachers still had problems in making HOTS questions in the thematic learning of social studies. These findings need the teachers’ concern. In other words, 21st-century learning requires teachers to continuously improve their innovation and creativity in making quality evaluation questions for their students.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan dan kendala guru dalam pembuatan soal HOTS pada pembelajaran tematik muatan IPS kelas V di MI Jombor, Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa (1) guru belum mempunyai pemahaman dan kemampuan yang baik dalam pembuatan soal HOTS pada pembelajaran tematik muatan IPS, dan (2) MI Jombor belum mampu menerapkan kurikulum 2013 yang berorientasi pada pembelajaran HOTS dan guru masih mengalami kendala dalam pembuatan soal HOTS pada pembelajaran tematik muatan IPS. Hal ini menjadi catatan yang perlu diperhatikan oleh guru. Dengan kata lain, pembelajaran abad 21 menghendaki guru untuk selalu meningkatkan inovasi dan kreativitasnya dalam membuat soal evaluasi yang berkualitas bagi siswanya.

This study investigated the influence of social media on the sexual behaviour of youth in Kwara State. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study. A total of 395 youth participated in the study. One research question was raised while three null hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. The instrument used for data collection for this study was a researcher-designed questionnaire entitled “Influence of Social Media Questionnaire” (ISMQ). The findings revealed that social media has considerable influence on the sexual behaviour of youth in Kwara State. Social media leads students to the act of sending erotic messages, watching pornographic films and movies, and also increases risky sexual behaviour such as masturbation. There were no significant differences in the influence of social media on sexual behaviour of youth in Kwara State based on gender, age and university attended. It was therefore recommended that counsellors should expose students to the danger inherent in negative uses of social media and analyze the possible result of proper usage of social media. Counsellors should also provide information specifically on the safe and respectful use of technology, as well as consequences of the negative use of social media to students of different genders, ages and universities attended.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran dengan strategi scaffolding with a solution plan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas X IPS 2 SMAN 2 Palembang yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tertulis yang terdiri atas empat soal uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa. Soal tes disusun dengan mengacu pada indikator kemampuan pemodelan matematika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa kelas X IPS 2 SMAN 2 Palembang berada pada kategori baik dengan rincian sebagai berikut: 9 siswa berkategori sangat baik; 11 siswa berkategori baik; 5 siswa berkategori cukup; 2 siswa berkategori kurang; dan 1 siswa berkategori sangat kurang. Kata kunci: kemampuan pemodelan matematika; scaffolding with a solution plan This study aims to describe the ability of students' mathematical modeling after the implementation of learning with a scaffolding with a solution plan strategy. Type of the research is quantitative descriptive research with research subjects of class X IPS 2 of SMAN 2 Palembang totaling 28 students. Data collection techniques were carried out with a written test consisting of four description questions to measure students' mathematical modeling abilities. Test questions were prepared by referring to indicators of mathematical modeling abilities. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the mathematical modeling ability of class X IPS 2 of SMAN 2 Palembang was in a good category with following details: 9 students are in very good category; 11 students are in good category; 5 students are in enough category; 2 students are in low category; 1 student is in very low category. The character affects a person’s quality of life. Having a good character is expected to have the ability to improve his/her quality of life. This study aims to describe the characters of students, namely responsibility, curiosity/creativity, honesty, tolerance, perseverance, and discipline. This descriptive research utilizes indirect communication techniques in collecting data. The data collection tools used are in the form of character questionnaires. The student character questioners are developed based on validated character indicators with a value of 81% with decent character. Based on the results of the analysis of the character questionnaires data that was filled out by the students, it was found that the characters of responsibility, creativity, honesty, perseverance, and discipline were classified began to develop, and the character of tolerance was classified as seen. However, in general, the character of students is classified as began to develop.

This study aims to analyze the steps of applying the discovery learning model in physics learning. This type of research is qualitative with the type of case study. The subjects in this study were physics teachers and students of class X SMKN 2 Ende, totaling 33 students. The object of this research is the application of the discovery learning model. Data collection instruments using questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of the discovery learning model in physics learning for class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Ende was in accordance with the syntax. The syntax of the discovery learning model consists of stimulation, problems, data collection, data processing, verification, generalization.

This research aims to evaluate the program tahfidz Al-Qur'an SMAIT Buahati. The object of the study is the Formal Institute of Buahati Integrated Islamic High School in East Jakarta. This study uses CIPPO evaluation methods and descriptive research types. Research informants are principals, vice principals, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques are interviewing, observation, and document analysis. The results showed that, the program tahfidz Al-Qur'an SMAIT Buahati viewed from context aspect is very good judging by the indicators of the purpose and vision-mission of the school, the input aspect is good value judging by the indicators of students' ability, teacher quality, and availability of infrastructure, as well as the good value process aspect judging by the indicators of planning, process, and evaluation of learning, the product aspect is good value based on the indicators of the results obtained by students during the program tahfidz Al-Qur-an , outcomes are good value judging by the benefits of the program felt by students and the surrounding environment. So, overall the evaluation of tahfidz Qur'an program at SMAIT Buahati is very good value.

<em>Utilizing technology, especially the internet to support the teaching and learning process, is what happened in the 21st century. The benefits of e-learning are so numerous and can help lectures, users can access anywhere without being limited by space and time. The method used is descriptive research, which in its implementation consists of data collection, analysis and interpretation of the meaning of the data obtained. . This study aims to determine the level of usability or usability that exists on the e-leraning website of UIN WALISONGO Saintek Faculty, whether the system has been made that meets the usability criteria or not, in terms of Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Errors, and Satisfaction. After conducting research, the authors obtain data that e-learning meets usability criteria seen from the data in the field that is the result of the survey. So, Walisongo e-learning can be used as a support for learning effectively and efficiently.</em>

This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical connections of students of class VII MTs on triangular and rectangular materials. The type of research used is adapted to the approach that is descriptive research type. The subjects were 5 MTs students. Data collection techniques in this study using test techniques. The results of students' written test are to solve the problem of 5 items. Data analysis is done to analyze students' mathematical connection ability. The average percentage of students' mathematical ability in solving test questions given by the researchers as much as 5 items that are with percentage 36%. So it can be concluded that the mathematical connections of students of MTs on triangle and rectangle materials are still relatively low. This is shown in the test of mathematical connection ability of students have not been able to connect the problem well. Students do not understand how to apply a concept with other concepts, apply the concept to everyday life, apply it to triangle and quadrilateral problem so that students have difficulties in solving problems, difficulties in understanding about making students confused in interpreting the sentence in question.
