ABSTRACT Education is the process of changing the attitude and behavior of a person or group for the better through teaching / guidance and training. In the process, the teacher plays an important role in the delivery of material so that it has an influence on the success of their students. The subject learning of PAI (Islamic education) at MIN 1 Langsa is currently less effective and efficient due to the Covid-19 pandemic (corona virus disease) which makes teachers and students unable to meet face to face directly. Students asked to learn from home using online media.Online learning is undirect face-to-face learning between teachers and students by accessing internet networks and using social media to interact or exchange information. This study aims to describe the online learning of Islamic Education lessons at MIN 1 Langsa. The research approach is descriptive qualitative using primary and secondary data sources. The data collection uses the method of observation, documentation and interviews. The analysis of data using reduction, display data and conclusion.The result of the research showed that online learning PAI lessons carried out at MIN 1 Langsa used the Whatsapp application. Students at home are accompanied by their parents in studying the material and exercises provided by their teachers through the Whatsapp application. Because learning is done online, teachers must be more thorough and focused in evaluating learning activities. Students also complained that they had difficulties with poor internet networks. Some of them also do not have cell phones based on Android and some are not proficient in using them, it is making the learning process ineffective.Keywords:            learning, online, students

The Covid-19 pandemic has led to policies that make teachers and students have to adapt the face-to-face learning model to online learning. The teacher of SD N 2 Cakranegara admits that there are limitations to the variety of audio-visual learning media used. The teachers also don't know and have never tried to develop game games with learning content, even though Android-based games are very possible to be developed and accessed portable on smartphones, the majority of which are already owned by teachers and students. The provision of workshops and assistance in making Android-based educational games for SD N 2 Cakranegara teachers aims to improve skills in creating and developing learning media in the form of educational games and maximizing the use of smartphones. The targeted output in this service activity is the existence of educational games that are ready to be used for the online learning process through appsgeyser.com and quickappninja.com.

The article is devoted to the study of differences in assessment methods of face-to face and online learning of a foreign language in higher education, in particular, the issue of the effectiveness of the assessment techniques used in different formats. Numerous questions that accompanied foreign language online learning in 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years, as well as contradictory reviews about the assessment methods of students’ knowledge were the prerequisites of the study. The experience demonstrated that online learning differs significantly from face-to-face learning in a number of requirements for teachers and students. The aim of the study is to modify traditional methods of students’ knowledge evaluation and assessment in the form of credits or examinations towards greater independence and objectivity and achieve the autonomy of the assessment process. We carried a survey of students’ opinions on the effectiveness of the forms of assessment adopted at the higher education. Based on the survey results, recommendations are made for improving methods of students’ knowledge assessment system with respect to the educational format. The conclusions made on the basis of data analysis provide a number of changes in the methods of online assessment both in the educational process at higher education and in staff training programs.

<p>Pandemi telah mengubah pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) yang menimbulkan kendala seperti ketidaksiapan menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran online, belum tersedianya materi untuk diunggah, jaringan internet yang tidak stabil, biaya kuota internet, dan kejenuhan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran pelaksanaan PJJ dan upaya implementasi blended learning sebagai solusi proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah pertama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif, melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kombinasi dari pembelajaran online, offline dan tatap muka mampu menciptakan suasana yang lebih menyenangkan bagi siswa, guru dan orang tua.</p><p><em>The pandemic has transformed face-to-face learning into distance learning which has caused obstacles such as unpreparedness to use online learning applications, unavailability of material to upload, unstable internet networks, internet quota fees, and student saturation. This study aims to provide an overview of the implementation of </em><em>distance learning</em><em> and efforts to implement blended learning as a solution for the learning process in elementary and junior high schools. The research method</em><em>s</em><em> used </em><em>are</em><em> </em><em>quantitative and </em><em>qualitative </em><em>through observation,</em><em> interview, questionnaire</em><em>,</em><em> and documentation. The sophisticated information and technology (IT) development can be the answer for various problems post the covid-19 pandemic, particularly the teaching and learning challenges. The role of IT that is booming nowadays is online learning. Online learning is obviously different from regular learning. In this mode of learning, the students are required to have the ability to receive and process information. It serves as media that connect teachers and students who are being remote from one another at any time and anyplace. There are various media utilized to perform online learning such as WhatsApp, Google Meet, Zoom, Google Classroom, and other e-learning platforms. Among all these media, though, WhatsApp apparently appointed as the simplest and easiest media to access in all levels of education. Online learning at current is the effective medium to carry on the teaching and learning process in all levels of education. For the effectiveness of online teaching and learning process during the covid-19 pandemic, there have been a number of learning models suggested by the expert such as remote learning, face to face learning, e-learning, project-based learning, and Blended Learning.

Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya adaptasi dalam hal mengelola proses pembelajaran tatap muka ke pembelajaran online yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa guna tetap dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Adapun kegiatan ini akan dilakukan melalui zoom meeting dengan menggunakan metode sosialisasi. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru di lingkungan SMKN 1 Karawang. Luaran pengabdian akan dipublikasikan di jurnal buana pengabdian UBP Karawang. Kata Kunci : pengelolaan pembelajaran online, pandemic. Abstract This dedication is motivated by the need for adaptation in terms of managing the face-to-face learning process to online learning carried out by teachers and students in order to keep abreast of the times and improve the quality of learning in the classroom. This activity will be carried out through a zoom meeting using the socialization method. The targets in this activity are teachers in the SMKN 1 Karawang environment. Education is one of the sectors that is badly influenced by covid-19 pandemic where the learning process is carried out from home. This sudden pandemic requires teachers to switch from face-to-face learning into learning domain with technological network. The objective of this study was to describe English teachers’ perception toward the switch from offline to online teaching during lockdown in the midst of covid19 outbreak. The subject of study was 50 English teachers of Senior High School in Banyuwangi. The research method was case study with qualitative research approach. The data needed collected by distributing Google form questionnaire and interview. The result of study indicated that English teachers’ perception about online teaching have not been performed properly, they stated that only for about 35% students who were active and really serious in carrying out online learning and collecting the assignments given on time because of lacking flexibility and access from teachers in controlling students’ learning activities. 68% teachers felt that their workload was heavier if compared to face-to-face learning because they need additional time to operate appropriate online learning media and package interesting learning in order to be able to increase students’ motivation and desire in English lesson.

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia had a direct impact on learning activities in elementary schools, including science learning, so that face-to-face learning was shifted to online learning. This study aims to analyze online learning activities, supporting factors, obstacles faced, and the effectiveness of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted an elementary school of Pontianak Kota Regency, Pontianak City from March to April 2021. This study used a qualitative descriptive method to provide an overview of online learning an elementary school of Pontianak Kota Regency. This study uses data from semi-structured interviews given to classroom teachers, students, and parents. Data analysis used the analysis technique of Miles & Huberman through four stages, namely data collecting, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study show that the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on learning activities. Online learning is carried out using Google Meet and WhatsApp media. Supporting factors and obstacles in online learning, namely communication tools, internet networks, student motivation, and support from parents. Online learning is felt to be less effective because the material is not fully conveyed to students. Most of the activities are carried out only by giving material briefly and assigning assignments and collecting assignments. Thus, there is a need for breakthrough steps that teachers need to take so that learning is not monotonous and can be meaningful for students even in a state of online learning. Abstrak   Adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia secara langsung sangat berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, termasuk pembelajaran IPA sehingga pembelajaran tatapp muka dialihkan ke pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara daring kegiatan pembelajaran, faktor pendukung, kendala yang dihadapi, dan keefektifan pembelajaran daring selama Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah dasar Kecamatan Pontianak Kota dari bulan Maret sampai April 2021. Ini Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk memberikan gambaran pembelajaran online di sekolah dasar Kecamatan Pontianak Kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari wawancara semi terstruktur yang diberikan kepada guru kelas, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis Miles & Huberman melalui empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran secara daring dilakukan dengan menggunakan media Google Meet dan WhatsApp. Factor pendukung dan yang menjadi hambatan dalam pembelajaran online, yaitu alat komunikasi, jaringan internet, motivasi siswa, dan dukungan dari orang tua. Pembelajaran daring dirasakan kurang efektif karena materi tidak tersampaikan seluruhnya kepada siswa. Sebagian besar kegiatan dilakukan hanya dengan memberikan materi secara singkat dan pemberian tugas serta mengumpulkan tugas. Dengan demikian perlu adanya langkah terobosan yang perlu dilakukan guru agar pembelajaran tidak monoton dan bisa bermakna bagi siswa meskipun dalam keadaan pembelajaran daring. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the learning process shifted from face- to- face learning into online learning as schools and universities closed almost all over the word. With the shift from face to face into online learning, the learning process effected negatively specially students’ interaction. In the online learning process, students tend to avoid interacting for many different reasons the study discussed. In light of this shift, by exploring the experiences and perceptions of the English language students at Hebron University, Palestine, this descriptive survey research aimed to investigate the reasons behind students’ lack of interaction during their online class sessions. It also tries to provide some useful ideas and suggestion that instructors may use in order to increase their students' interaction and participation with relevance to some other studies. The researchers employed a mono method quantitative research approach. A survey-questionnaire was posted online through Google forms to all English language major students Hebron University. The findings reported some reasons behind lack of interaction and some suggestions to promote interaction based on the participants’ perceptions. The study provides instructors and educational decision makers with pedagogical insights that may better shape the learning/teaching process in the online environment.

The purpose of this study is to describe how the Microsoft Teams application is used in online learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The data technique is done by collecting information, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then described descriptively. From this method, the research results show that the use of Microsoft Teams in online learning activities is said to be quite effective and efficient. With various features in one application that makes it easier for teachers and students to access, because teachers can deliver materials using various facilities or features provided by the Team, not only in text but also in text. video form. In addition, teachers can also assess the activeness of their students with the chat feature, and can efficiently assign assignments as evaluation materials to see the level of student understanding. In addition, Teams can also be used for video reservations for face-to-face learning via online. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all activities around the world including the world of education due to the widespread impact of the covid-19 learning process activities in schools have been temporarily suspended and diverted to online or online learning, however, many parents have pros and cons related to online learning. Sociology learning in the midst of Covid-19 has experienced changes where there should be direct social interaction in problem-solving (face-to-face) between teachers and students turning online due to social distancing restrictions where this learning is difficult to practice for students. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of online learning on sociology subjects at SMAN 4 Pandeglang. This research method uses qualitative methods, namely the form of interviews and observations. Based on the results of the interviews conducted, it can be seen that online learning still experiences problems such as some students do not have cellphones, unstable internet networks in remote areas, and learning media that are less supportive. In addition, students also sometimes struggle to do the assignments given by the teacher because the assignments given are too many, but students do not understand the learning material
