This research aims to increase the early age children’s interest in learning math through puzzle game. This study was conducted in grade 1, SDN Kaloran Kidul in May to June 2012. The method used was action research conducted through two cycles each of which consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were ten children of with interest problems in learning math. The data were collected using tests and non-test and analyzed with the percentage technique agreed by the collaborator and researcher. The results show that the puzzle game can be used to increase the students’ interest in learning math. The implications of these results among others is the puzzle game can be used as an alternative method to improve the children’s interest in learning math. The interest increase can be seen from the children’s sense of love or interest, concern, desire, seriousness and satisfaction in learning mathematics.

The purpose of this study was to know the impact of the utilization of android applications in learning mathematics in SMPN-1 Sragen. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles,each cycle beginned with planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data in this study was the assessment of the learning process obtained from learners in the activity and assessment at the end of the cycle. Then, the data was analyzed to know whether the utilization of android application in teaching space has been successful or not. There was an increase in students' learning achievement in understanding mathematics after having utilized the android applications. Before the action, only 18 students (56.25%) completed their learning and increased to be 22 students (68.75%) on the first cycle. In the second cycle, the number of students completed their learning was 31 students (96.87%). The use of android application for class IX students B SMPN-1 Sragen had improved the students’ learning achievement. Before the action, the average knowledge of students was 75.16 and their average skill was 70.63. In the first cycle, the average knowledge of students is 78.59 and their average skills is 72.5. In the second cycle, of average knowledge 88.13 average skills 86.88. The conclusion, the utilization of android application in teaching the space learning content improved the students learning achievement. Teachers are suggested to utililize the android application or other appropriate media in learning-teaching activities.ABSTRAKFokus masalah yang menjadi pembahasan di dalam tulisan ini adalah dampak dari pemanfaatan aplikasi android dalam pembelajaran matematika tentang bangun ruang sisi lengkung di SMPN-1 Sragen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak dari pemanfaatan aplikasi android dalam pembelajaran matematika tentang bangun ruang sisi lengkung di SMPN-1 Sragen. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus diawali dengan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa penilaian proses yang diperoleh dari peserta didik dalam beraktivitas dan penilaian pada akhir siklus. Kemudian, data dianalisis untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang berhasil-tidaknya pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam memahami bangun ruang sisi lengkung setelah belajar menggunakan aplikasi android. Sebelum tindakan, yang tuntas 18 peserta didik (56,25%), pada siklus pertama 22 peserta didik (68,75%). Pada siklus kedua, peserta didik yang tuntas belajarnya 31 orang (96,87%). Penggunaan aplikasi android pada peserta didik kelas IX B SMPN 1 Sragen terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Sebelum tindakan, rata-rata pengetahuan 75,16 dan rata-rata keterampilan 70,63. Pada siklus pertama, rata-rata pengetahuan meningkat menjadi 78,59 dan rata-rata keterampilan 72,5. Kemudian, pada siklus kedua, rata-rata pengetahuan meningkat menjadi 88,13 dan rata-rata keterampilan meningkat menjadi 86,88. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pemanfaatan aplikasi android pada materi bangun ruang meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Disarankan agar guru menggunakan aplikasi android atau media lain yang tepat dalam pembelajaran.

<div><em>This study aims to obtain an overview or description of how the process of learning mathematics with the method of open questions, discovery, and discussion can develop the creativity of students of class 1 semester 1 of SMA N 1 Kasihan Bantul. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Each cycle is carried out with steps of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data to describe how the process of learning mathematics by the method of open questions, discovery, and discussion can develop student’s creativity obtained from field notes and observations. Data from the student creativity questionnaire to strengthen the description. Tests at the end of each cycle are used to support the results of the study. The actions taken in both cycles have been able to develop students' creativity. This is reinforced by the results of the analysis of the questionnaire. The average level of student creativity has increased, before the action, the average total score of students' creativity 36.068 is included in the category enough, after cycle I the average total score of student creativity is 48.205 included in the good category, and at the end of cycle II on average the total score of 52.97 students' creativity is included in the good category.</em></div>

Tujuan dalam penulisan ini untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar dengan penerapan model pembelajaran type STAD melalui media infocus dalam peningkatan hasil belajar matematika materi bilangan berpangkat bagi di siswa MTS Terpadu Kota Langsa. Metodologi dalam penulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (action research room) dengan hasil penelitian dilakukan dalam memecahkan masalah pembelajaran di kelas melalui perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru dan siswa telah mencerminkan penerapan model pembelajaran type STAD dengan  media infocus. Mengukur keberhasilan dalam tindakan kelas adalah sistem belajar tuntas yaitu setiap siswa telah mencapai nilai 70 maka dikatakan berhasil tuntas. Secara klasikal, apabila mencapai 80% siswa telah mencapai nilai  70 maka dikatakan tuntas secara klasikal. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 78.24 dengan jumlah siswa tuntas 32 orang dan tidak tuntas 2 orang. Dalam persentase tuntas klasikal sebesar 94%, hasil ini telah melebihi indikator ketuntasan yang ditetapkan.   Kata kunci: Pembelajaran, Matematika, Type STAD, Infocus   AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to determine learning achievement by applying STAD type learning models through infocus media in improving mathematics learning outcomes for rank numbers material for Integrated MTS students in Langsa City. The methodology in this writing uses a classroom action research method with the results of research conducted in solving learning problems in class through planning, action, observation and reflection. The writing results show that the teacher and student activities have reflected the application of the STAD type learning model with infocus media. Measuring success in classroom action is a complete learning system in which each student has reached a value of 70 then it is said to be successful. Classically, if 80% of students have reached 70, they are said to be classically complete. The average value obtained was 78.24 with the number of students completing 32 people and not completing 2 people. In the classical completion rate of 94%, this result has exceeded the established completeness indicator.  Keywords: Learning, Mathematics, STAD Type, Infocus

This research is motivated by low student social studies learning outcomes. This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes by using video media in class VI SDN 004 Teratak Buluh. This research is a classroom action research that includes activities with stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed that the increase in social studies learning outcomes of class VI students, the average classical completeness before class action research was 75% in the first cycle of 82.14% and in the second cycle it was 92.85%. Scientific performance learning outcomes before class action research is 65.36%, and scientific performance learning outcomes after class action research cycle I is 72.76% increased by 7.4%, and scientific performance learning outcomes after class II cycle action research is 73.17% also increased by 0.41% from cycle I. The occurrence of increased learning outcomes of scientific performance also affects student learning outcomes. Based on the results of classroom action research, it can be concluded that using video media can improve social studies learning outcomes. Grade VI students of SDN 004 Teratak Buluh.

This study concerns on improving students’ achievement in writing procedure texts through word webbing technique. The research was conducted by using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population was the 2012-2013 nine grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The number of students was 36, consisting of 21 females and 15 males. The procedure of the research was administrated into two cycles where each cycle consisted of three meetings. Each meeting included four steps namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. There were two kinds of data collected during the study, qualitative and quantitative data. The instrument for collecting the quantitative data was the writing of procedure texts test while the qualitative data were gathered by using interview, diary notes and observation sheet. Based on the data analysis, the mean of students’ score in Test I was 53,47, for the Test II was 63,05, and for the Test III was 75 The qualitative data showed that the students were interested in the applying of Word webbing Technique. The conclusion is that Word Webbing Technique in writing Procedure Texts improves the students’ achievement in writing procedure texts. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah di kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dua siklus yang terdiri dari: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa pembelajaran akidah akhlak dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar di kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa untuk setiap indikator yang diteliti. Peningkatan aktivitas siswa yang dimaksud adalah terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Siswa aktif merespon pertanyaan guru, mengemukakan alasan, menjelaskan kepada teman, mempresentasikan hasil diskusi kelompok dan membuat kesimpulan Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Siswa, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Akidah Akhlak Abstract [Tittle: Improving Student’ Activity In Akidah Akhlak Course Through Problem Based Learning Approach]. This research was aimed to improve students’ activity in Akidah Akhlak through Problem Based Learning (PBL)at MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi city.This was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles in which each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research was the third year students of MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi that consisted of 32 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation sheet and field note. The data then was analyzed descriptively.The result of the research showed that the use of PBL approach could improve students’ activity in Akidah Akhlak at MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi. After applying PBL approach, the students had a willingness to answer teacher’s questions, give opinions and plain them to the peers, present the result of the discussion and take conclusion. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru di SDN Tlambah 2, Kabupaten Karangpenang Sampang. Perencanaan pembelajaran tematik dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran tematik. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah guru kelas di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Tlambah 2, Kabupaten Karangpenang Sampang. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, menggunakan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi dalam setiap siklus. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini disimpulkan bahwa supervisi kelompok dengan pendekatan kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru kelas di SDN Tlambah 2 Kabupaten Karangpenang Sampang.   Kata kunci: kolaboratif, kompetensi, tematik     Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of increasing the competency of teachers in SDN Tlambah 2, Karangpenang Sampang District, Spreading thematic learning planning in improving the quality of thematic learning. ABSTRAK Masih kurang  minatnya siswa dalam belajar khususnya pelajaran matematika,  salah satu sebab adalah  metode yang digunakan oleh guru masih konvensional dan siswa bekerja secara individu, sehingga siswa yang kurang mampu kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dengan benar.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bilangan berpangkat dengan  model problem posing pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Batu.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain  Penelitian Tindakan Kelas  (Classroom Action Research),  pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan  kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang datanya tanpa menggunakan teknik statistik. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Berdasarkan data yang diperolah dari pelaksanaan tindakan mulai siklus 1 sampai dengan siklus 2 dan berdasarkan hasil observasi tiap-tiap siklus terjadi peningkatan prestasi yaitu siswa yang mendapat nilai kurang dari KKM dari 17 siswa menjadi 7 siswa, mengalami peningkatan siswa yang mendapat nilai memenuhi KKM dari 18 menjadi 27 siswa, dan rata-rata tes siswa dari  62,29 menjadi 71,76 mengalami kenaikan 2,47%, serta prosentase ketuntasa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 48,6% menjadi 79,4% meningkat 30,8%.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pendekatan model problem posing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada materi bilangan berpangkat. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan hasil belajar, Bilangan berpangkat, Problem Posing ABSTRACT The lack of student’s study interest especially on mathematics, one of the reason is the method is still conventional and students work individually, with the result that students harder to understanding the concept correctly. The purpose of this research is improving learning outcome on exponential numbers with problem posing model in 3rd years students on State Junior High School Batu. This research using Classroom Action Research design and qualitative approach, which is the research that not using statistics technique. This Classroom Action Research executed in two cycle. Every cycle consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on data that obtained from the 1st cycle until 2nd cycle and based on observation from every cycle there is an achievement increase that is students that having under the minimum learning mastery standard from the initial is 17 students increase to 7 students, then there is increase the numbers of students that having on the minimum learning mastery standard from 18 to 27 students, and the average of students’ test from 62,29 to 71,76 (increasing 2,47%), so the percentage of learning mastery increased from 48,6% to 79,4% increase for about 30,8%. This shows that Problem Posing approach can increasing student’s study result especially on exponential numbers subject. Keyword: Increase of study result, Exponential numbers, Problem Posing

The study aims to determine whether the two-dimensional classification capabilities can be enhanced through tangram game. The study was conducted for 14 children aged 4 to 5 years in grade A PAUD Nusantara Palembang, in February-March 2016. The method used is a model of action research Kemmis Mc Taggart. The study was conducted in 16 sessions divided into two cycles. In every cycle there are four stages of activity: planning, action, observation and reflection. Data were analyzed using analysis of quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that children's ability to classify two-dimensional figures can be enhanced through tangram game. Children's ability to classify two-dimensional figures are on a score of 50 on the pre-intervention phase. The ability to classify two-dimensional figures increased to 77.3 at the end of cycle I, and continued to increase to 104 by the end of cycle II. The results of the study implies that the tangram game could be one way to improve the ability to classify two-dimensional figures.Keywords: classification, tangram, and an action research

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar Tarikh Islam Siswa KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri 1 menggunakan strategi pembelajaran every one is teacher here. Subjek penelitian adalah siswi KMI Gontor Putri kelas 2 H. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Everyone Is A Teacher Here efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar Tarikh Islam siswa Kulliyyatu-l-Muallimat Al-Islamiyyah Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri Kampus 1 tahun ajaran 1440-1441 H. Ketuntasan belajar siswi pada siklus pertama sebesar 46,2%, meningkat pada siklus kedua menjadi 96,2%.     Abstract This study aims to determine the increase in student achievement of Tarikh Islam, students of KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri 1 using learning strategies every one is teacher here. The results showed that Everyone Is A Teacher Here learning strategy was effective in improving the student achievement of students Kulliyyatu-l-Muallimat Al-Islamiyyah Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri Campus 1 school year 1440-1441 H. Completion of student learning in the first cycle by 46.2 %, increased in the second cycle to 96.2%.
