Background: Providing care for children with a terminal illness is a great challenge for nurses and might be very complex. Several roles can be performed while providing nursing care. Objective: The aim of this study was to identify the roles of nurses in providing nursing care to children with terminal illness and explore the nurse's perspective on how they perform their role in caring for children with terminal illness. Methods: This research was conducted qualitatively with a content analysis approach. In-depth interviews with 8 nurses and focus group discussion with 7 nurses were the data collection methods used in this study. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling with inclusion criteria for nurses who were willing to participate in this research with a minimum education of diploma degree in nursing, and having at least 3 years of working experience in the pediatric ward. Results: Based on the nurses’ perspectives, their role as a communicator, counselor, collaborator, advocator, educator, and also as care provider make them an information broker for children with terminal illnesses and their families. Conclusion: In conclusion, while performing the roles, nurses must have good communication skills and knowledge related to the condition of the child as well as the ability to work with other healthcare teams with the purpose of providing holistic and comprehensive care for children with a terminal illness.

Role of posyandu cadres in empowering the community of BintanPurposeThis study aimed to determine the role of posyandu cadres in empowering the community in Kawal village, Gunung Kijang district, Bintan regency.MethodsThis study used a qualitative method with a case study design and purposive sampling technique, with the cadres of posyandu. Data collection was done by in-depth interviews and focus group discussion (FGD), with triangulation of sources and methods.ResultsThe role of cadres are as a health motivator, with the extension officers of the health and medical services as well as cadres being able to identify the needs, barriers and help to coordinate in providing health services.ConclusionPosyandu cadres have high social spirit created by the combination of internal and external motivation, resources and potential as well as experience developing ability, with the social spirit capable of inspiring, activating, stimulating, mobilizing and motivating people.

P4K is one of the government's efforts to reduce Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). The problem found was low community participation in P4K. This study aims to find out how people's perceptions about birth planning and complications prevention (P4K) programs. Method: This research is a qualitative study using purposive sampling technique in selecting samples. The samples used were 21 people who had met the sample criteria. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Data were analyzed through several stages namely data reduction, data transcripts, data presentation, coding, categorization and conclusions. Results: 1) Most of the P4K information obtained by respondents was considered to be lacking. 2) Respondents' perception of the implementation of P4K revealed that the program had not yet reached the target. 3) The majority of respondents perceive the distribution of P4K stickers among mothers as uneven and the majority of pregnant women have a perception that the activity has no benefit for themselves.4) Respondents are more dominant in the perception of village ambulances as four-wheeled motor vehicles as usual ambulances. 5) P4K supporting facilities in the village are not yet available namely dasolin / tabulin and blood donor management. Conclusion: the perception of the village community about P4K so far both about information about the program and its implementation is still considered to be less than optimal, because socialization is not carried out thoroughly to the community. Therefore, there is a need for good collaboration between community sectors, health institutions and village governments

This research aims to examine Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Partnership Program to find an optimal and sustainable partnership model between State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to advance the people's economic sector. This research was qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used in this research were in-depth interviews, observation, and literature studies. In-depth interviews were conducted with 3 informants chosen as representatives of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk and 6 informants were taken as participants in Focus Group Discussions representing MSMEs fostered partners in the Jagorawi - Cikampek Toll network area. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the CSR partnership model between SOEs and MSMEs is based on mutual respect, transparency, good communication and trust, mutual benefit to those involved, and has a consistent commitment from both parties.

Latar Belakang : Bertambahnya masalah gangguan jiwa diperlukan peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan terutama keperawatan. Penanganan gangguan jiwa diperlukan sikap caring yaitu memberikan perhatian terhadap seseorang. Salah satu cerminan sikap caring adalah berkomunikasi dengan baik. Tujuan Penelitian : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Persepsi, Motivasi, dan Gaya kepemimpinan Dengan Sikap Caring Perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Jawa Tengah 2018. Metode Penelitian : Desain penelitian ini adalah correlation dengan pendekatan cross sectional dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Jawa Tengah tanggal 11 Mei 2018 – 4 Juni 2018. Jumlah sampel menggunakan Tehnik Purposive sampling yaitu 70 responden. Alat ukur kuesioner. Analisis bivariate menggunakan uji Somers’d. Hasil Penelitian : Persepsi p-value<α (0,035<0,05), Motivasi p-value>α (0,080>0,05), gaya Kepemimpinan p-value<α (0,043<0,05) dan analisa multivariat menggunakan analisis Regresi Berganda 4 Variabel, tidak terdapat hubungan secara partial maupun simultan antara persepsi, motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan dengan sikap caring. Kesimpulan :Terdapat hubungan antara persepsi dengan sikap caring perawat, tidak ada hubungan antara motivasi dengan sikap caring perawat, ada hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dengan sikap caring perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Jawa Tengah. Saran : Hasil penelitian bagi Stikes Bethesda, dapat dijadikan refrensi tambahan tentang faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap caring perawat.   Kata Kunci : persepsi, motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan, caring     ABSTRACT    Background : Caring is giving attention to others. One reflection of caring is to maintain good communication. In mental nursing, maintaining a good communication is a key of successful mental nursing care practice. Caring can be influenced by nurses, in terms of perception and motivation and it can also be influenced by unit manager’s leadership style. Objective : To know the correlation between perception, motivation and leadership style with caring attitude of nurses in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java in 2018. Method : It was a correlation research with cross sectional approach done in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java in 11th May – 4th June 2018. The sample was 70 respondents taken with total sampling technique. Data was collected with questionnaire. Analysis was done with Kendall’s Tau test. Result : The result shows df 3, p-value > α (0,388>0,05), (0,170>0,05), (0,725>0,05) and multivariate analysis with 4 variable multiple regression shows there is no correlation either partially or simultaneously between perception, motivation, leadership style to caring attitude. Conslusion: There is no correlation between perception, motivation and leadership style with caring attitude of nurses in RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central Java in 2018. Suggestion : This research can be an additional reference about factors that influence caring attitude of nurses.   Keyword : perception, motivation, leadership style, caring

Imunisasi merupakan pencegahan primer yang sangat efektif untuk menghindari terjangkitnya penyakit infeksi. Oleh sebab itu, angka kejadian penyakit infeksi akan menurun, kecacatan serta kematian yang ditimbulkannya pun akan berkurang. Sampai saat ini kasus yang ditemukan dilapangan ternyata masih ada ibu-ibu balita yang tidak mau membawa anaknya untuk diberikan imunisasi. Desa Kalumbatan merupakan satu-satunya Desa di Kecamatan Totikum Selatan yang belum mencapai target Universal Child Immunization (UCI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi penyebab ibu balita tidak memberikan imunisasi dasar pada balitanya di Desa Kalumbatan Kecamatan Totikum Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam (indepht interview). Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 orang yakni ibu yang memiliki balita 0-59 bulan yang tidak lengkap imunisasi dasar balitanya, kader Posyandu dan petugas kesehatan yang didapatkan menggunakan metode pengambilan informan dengan teknik sampling menggunakan Snow Ball Sampling. Analisis data melalui tiga prosedur yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyebab ibu balita tidak memberikan imunisasi dasar lengkap pada balitanya di Desa Kalumbatan ditemukan 5 informasi yakni : Takut dan trauma balitanya demam setelah diimunisasi, jarak rumah ke Posyandu yang jauh, sibuk dengan pekerjaan, tidak ada dukungan keluarga dan tidak mengetahui informasi jadwal imunisasi. Perlu adanya atau ditingkatkan promosi kesehatan kepada orang tua maupun peserta posyandu terkait peningkatan pemahaman atau pengetahuan tentang manfaat pentingnya imunisasi. Sehingga mampu meningkatkan cakupan imunisasi dasar di kabupaten Banggai Kepulauan khususnya Desa Kalumbatan Kecamatan Totikum Selatan. Immunization is a very effective primary prevention to avoid contracting infectious diseases. Therefore, the incidence of infectious diseases will decrease, the resulting disability and death will also decrease. Until now, the cases found in the field are still mothers of toddlers who do not want to bring their children to be given immunizations. Kalumbatan Village is the only village in South Totikum District that has not yet reached the Universal Child Immunization (UCI) target. This study aims to obtain information on the reasons why mothers of toddlers do not provide basic immunizations for their toddlers in Kalumbatan Village, South Totikum District. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, data collection methods with observation and in-depth interviews (indepht interviews). The informants in this study were 20 people, namely mothers who had toddlers 0-59 months whose basic immunizations were incomplete, Posyandu cadres and health workers who were obtained using the informant retrieval method with a sampling technique using Snow Ball Sampling. Data analysis through three procedures, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the causes of mothers under five who do not provide complete basic immunization to their toddlers in Kalumbatan Village found 5 information, namely: Fear and trauma of toddlers having fever after being immunized, far from home to Posyandu, busy with work, no family support and not knowing information immunization schedule. It is necessary to have or improve health promotion to parents and posyandu participants related to increasing understanding or knowledge about the benefits of the importance of immunization. So as to increase the coverage of basic immunization in Banggai Islands district, especially Kalumbatan Village, South Totikum District.

Objectives: This study examines the psychological stress experienced by nurses, explores the psychological stress on nurses' performance in providing nursing care in hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: In this study using a qualitative design with an analytical strategy using in-depth interviews, the subjects used were nurses who worked in two Yogyakarta hospitals, the sampling technique used consecutive sampling, which was then carried out qualitative analysis. Results: The research has two themes. First, the psychological stress experienced at the beginning of the pandemic with four sub-themes, namely; 1) fatigue and PPE problems during the pandemic; 2) fear of infection; 3) anxiety caused by community stigmatization; 4) concern for family health. Second, coping and self-care with three sub-themes, namely; 1) awareness and vigilance on duty; 2) spiritual support; 3) support for facilities and infrastructure. Conclusion: Research provides in-depth knowledge of the stress experienced by nurses in the COVID-19 pandemic situation and can provide advice to hospital management in ensuring the health and safety of nurses in the hospital. Recommendation: Hospitals can improve the Standard Operating Procedures, mental support, support for personal protective equipment to protect nurses to minimize the negative impact in nurses in providing nursing care in a pandemic situation.

Voluntary nurses is the nurses who provide health care voluntarily without expecting any fee. Caring behavior of voluntary nurses is the skill of voluntary nurses giving attention, empaty,and helping clients to fullfil their daily needs as long as voluntary nurses giving nursing care in hospital. The objective of the research was to explore deeply caring behavior of voluntary nurses to the client in Padangsidimpuan General Hospital. The research used phenomenological design. The data were gathered by conducting in-depth interviews. Purposive sampling technique was used to select the participants who had met the criteria. They consisted of 6 voluntary nursesin Padangsidimpuan General Hospital. The result of the interviews was recorded and analyzed by using content analysis. The result of the research showed that there were 4 themes which reflected the research phenomena. They were Voluntary Nurses care to the clients, Voluntary nurses doing holistic nursing care, Voluntary nurses respect clients, and The effects of caring behavior of voluntary nurses. It is recommended that the Voluntary nerses alwaysapply caring behavior to the client even though without recieve any fee. Keywords: Behavior, Caring, Voluntary Nurses, Client

This research investigated the issues of power structure and government policies and its implementation towards sustainable ecotourism development in Chitral Gol National Park Pakistan (CGNP). Data was collected through unstructured questionnaires from staff members, community and tourists. The respondents were selected by using purposive sampling technique. Qualitative data techniques such as focus group discussion and in-depth interviews were conducted with the key stakeholders to explore the effect of policies, implementation and power structure on sustainable ecotourism. The results suggest that there is an imbalance of power structure and poor policy implementation that badly affect the sustainable ecotourism at CGNP. This study can be replicated in other National Parks to verify the findings of this study.

Background: World's current health systems are in a crisis, causing public health needs are not being met. Mother Mortality Rate in Indonesia was still high. It indicated that  maternity care was not optimal yet.  One of solution is an  implementation of interprofessional collaborative practice. Currently, in Indonesian’s hospitals have not seen an equal team collaboration. The objective of this study was to explore the perceptions and acceptance of health workers maternity’s interprofessional collaborative practice in Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta’s Hospital. Methods: This study was a qualitative  with a phenomenology design. Subjects were nurses, midwives, obstetrics and gynecologist, pharmacists, and nutritionists who had  collaboration experience in obstetrics gynecology department in Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta’s Hospital, included 10 respondents. Sampling technique used a purposive sampling, while data collection used a Focus Group Discussion and in-depth interviews. Data’s credibility and reliability obtained by triangulation, debriefing, member checking and rich data. Research ethics included an informed consent and ethics committee’s approval. This study was conducted in February-July 2014. Result: Most respondents had a wrong perception of  interprofessional collaboration’s definition. All of respondents accepted if  interprofesional collaboration implemented properly. Data analysis resulted in six categories: perception of health workers about interprofessional collaboration, implementation of interprofessional collaboration in hospital, application of collaboration’s elements in interprofessional collaboration, health workers’s expectations for better collaboration, health workers’s motivation in doing interprofessional collaboration and variation of health workers’s acceptance of interprofessional collaboration. Conclusion: Most of health workers  have not had a correct perception of interprofessional collaborative practice. All health workers accepted if interprofessional collaborative practice applied properly in maternity area in Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta’s Hospital.

The total of pregnant women in Aceh Barat District in 2018 is 4453 0 people. The total of deaths was 3 and than the total of infant deaths was 90. The importance of pregnant mothers class programs as an effort to reduce maternal mortality and infant mortality rates. The purpose of this study was to analyze the study of Communication, Resources, Disposition, and Bureaucratic Structure in the Implementation of the Mother Class Program in West Aceh District. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research that is the method used to explore or analyze a study but is not used to make broader conclusions. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with 16 main informants, 1 key informant and 1 supporting informant. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews. Data analysis uses content analysis. The results of research on communication studies are still not good, resources are incomplete. Disposition is still lacking in commitment, and bureaucratic structure is still lacking in cooperation. The implementation of the Pregnant Women Class Program in West Aceh district is still inappropriate and there are still many obstacles and obstacles. The conclusion is that there is still a lack of communication across sectors, the lack of resources to carry out maximum implementation, the lack of commitment from decision makers, and the bureaucratic structure is still lacking of cooperation so that the implementation of the pregnant mothers class program cannot run properly and optimally. Suggestions are expected to build good communication across sectors, decision makers seek to maximize available resources in the implementation of classes for pregnant women, build cooperation in bureaucratic structures and for pregnant women are expected to continue to follow the Pregnant Women Class routinely and to the end so that pregnant women class programs can run effectively.
