Achievement motivation is predicated on the notion that a person wants to demonstrate competence and feel successful and is motivated to achieve these outcomes. A person's goal orientation describes the individual's motivation—an ego orientation presupposes that achievement is a result of ability, whereas a task orientation ties achievement to effort. Understanding a person's achievement motivation can help us better understand how to facilitate positive leisure experiences and long-term participation in recreation activities. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the goal orientation of male and female university students enrolled in leisure-skills courses. Results suggest that there are gender differences in goal orientation that may have an impact on enjoyment of and intention to continue participation in a recreation activity, regardless of the activity.

Initially we carried out a systematic review of national literature. The descriptive analysis was performed. To determine the association between the chemical components and the energy values was calculated the Pearson correlation coefficients. The prediction equation was obtained using the stepwise method considering a significance level of 5%. The fit of the equations was performed with the SAS 9.0 software. The equation was evaluated by comparing the values estimates with those presented in Brazilian Tables for Tilapia Nutrition (2010), using the t test for paired samples. By analyzing the correlation between energy values and the chemical components, it was observed that the DE showed more significant correlation with CP (r = 0.678). By stepwise technique, only the content of crude protein (CP ) was selected to make the equation: DE ( kcal / kg ) = 536.26 + 57.78 CP ( % ) ( R2 = 0.64 , P < 0.0002 ). By t test, no difference (P = 0.1533) between the observed values and the predicted values by equation was observed. Based on the results, to predict the digestible energy content of protein ingredients of vegetable origin for tilapia the equation is recommended: DE = 536.26 +57.78 CP , where DE is the digestible energy ( kcal / kg NM ), CP is the crude protein content ( % in NM).Keywords: Feed formulation.
