When communicating, humans as speakers of language will arrange words into meaningful sentences so listeners can understand the purpose of the speech. The speaker will determine the type of sentences and variety of language to use. In the event of spoken communication, there are various types of speech, one of which is imperative sentence speech. This research aims to analyze speech acts that uses imperative sentences in a film entitled Yeoljeong-gateun Soriha-go Iss-ne (열정같은 소리하고 있네). This research applies descriptive method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data were collected by applying note-taking techniques. The data were further identified and classified based on the imperative sentence theory by Lee (2016). The result of this study showed that 175 imperative sentences were found in the film corpus. These can be classified into 8 types of speech acts, namely speech acts of commands (43,4%), demands (28,6%), permission (6,9%), suggestion (5,7%), prohibition (5,1%), warning (5,1%), greeting (2,9%), and requests (2,3%). Meanwhile, the most used variety of languages in the film corpus is informal language or haeche with 132 sentences.

An illocutionary act is a speech act that is usually identified by explicit performative sentences. The research on illocutionary acts in vlogs is an action that shows the meaning of speech during communication. This study aims to describe illocutionary acts on Fiersa Besari's vlog YouTube channel Jangan Lupa Senyum Part 1 along with its speech function. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. The form of research used here is qualitative research. The data source in this study is the vlog Jangan Lupa Senyum Part 1 on the Fiersa Besari YouTube channel. The data in this study are transcripts of conversations between characters in vlogs. Data collection techniques in research using the observation method and note-taking techniques. The findings in the research in this vlog were only 15 utterances of illocutionary speech acts. From the 15 utterances, 7 data on assertive illocutionary acts, 2 directive illocutionary acts, and 7 expressive illocutionary acts. From this research, it is expected that we can understand the function of illocutionary acts that are relevant to everyday life

ABSTRAK   Setiap tuturan seringkali mengandung maksud lain. Perlokusi merupakan salah satu tindak tutur yang didalamnya mengandung maksud lain. Tindak tutur perlokusi dapat ditemukan dalam sebuah video, salah satunya pada video filosofi stoicism (Ekpektasi dan kebahagiaan) di channel youtube satu persen. Pada penelitian ini, topik yang dikaji adalah mengenai filosofi hidup stoicism yang mana filosofi tersebut memberi dampak bagi pendengar untuk senantiasa berfikir tentang kemungkinan terburuk. Tuturan dalam video tersebut mengandung perlokusi. Tujuandari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tindak tutur perlokusi dalam video filosofi stoicism (Ekpektasi dan kebahagiaan) di channel youtube satu persen. Objek penelitian ini adalah tuturan dalam video tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriftif kualitatif. Perolehan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik simak dan catat. Hasil dari penelitian ini  ditemukan enam data yang mengandung perlokusi yang terdiri atas tindak tutur perlokusi untuk memengaruhi, tindak tutur perlokusi mengajak, dan tindak tutur perlokusi permintaan. Dengan membaca penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan tentang pragmatik khusunya tindak tutur perlokusi bagi pembaca. Kata Kunci : Pragmatik. Tindak Tutur, Perlokusi, Filosofi, Stoicism   ABSTRACT Each utterance often contains other purposes. Perlokusi is one of the speech acts that contains other purposes. Perlokusi's speech acts can be found in a video, one of which is the philosophy video of stoicism (Expectations and happiness) on the one percent YouTube channel. In this research, the topic studied is about the philosophy of life of stoicism, which philosophy has an impact on listeners to always think about the worst possible. The speech in the video contains perlocution. The purpose of this research is to find out the speech acts of percocution in the philosophy video of stoicism (Expectations and happiness) on the one percent youtube channel. The object of this research is the utterance in the video. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection of this research was carried out by listening and note taking techniques. The results of this study found six data containing perlocutionary speech consisting of speech actuations to influence, speech actuating speech invocations, and act of speech demanding. By reading this research it is hoped that it can increase knowledge about pragmatics especially in the act of speech telling for readers. AbstractThe politeness in language in ‘the Mata Najwa’ talk show on TransTV is interested to study due to contradictory opinions expressed by guests who ended up in disrespectful speeches and debates. In line with the background, this study was aimed at describing the violation of the Leech’s politeness principle in language in the Mata Najwa talk show on TransTV. To reveal the violation, a descriptive method and a qualitative approach are used. The research subjects in this study were the speeches of the politicians in the Mata Najwa talk show on TransTV. The data used in this study are words, phrases and sentences that violate the maxims of politeness in accordance with Leech. The data were collected by means of documentation, listening and note-taking techniques. The data were initially analyzed by selecting the data which are assumed to violate Leech’s principles of politeness. Then the data were classified based on the violations of politeness maxims. The results showed that the violations of politeness in language found in the program of Mata Najwa talk show on TransTV included the six maxims of politeness in language; namely the maxims of tact, generosity, approbation, modesty, agreement, and sympathy.  AbstrakKesantunan berbahasa dalam acara talk show Mata Najwa di TransTV menarik untuk diteliti karena pada acara tersebut pihak yang diwawancarai atau diskusi sering kali mengutarakan pendapat yang berbeda dan berujung pada tuturan dan perdebatan yang tidak santun. Sejalan dengan latar belakang tersebut, tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini ialah menghasilkan deskripsi tentang pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa  Leech dalam acara talk show Mata Najwa di TransTV. Untuk mendeskripsikan tentang pelanggaran kesantunan tersebut digunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini ialah tuturan politisi di acara talk show Mata Najwa di TransTV. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang melanggar maksim-maksim kesantunan Leech. Teknik yang digunakan dalam proses pengumpulan data ada tiga teknik, yaitu (1) teknik dokumentasi, (2) teknik simak, (3) dan teknik catat. Kegiatan analisis data dimulai dengan penyeleksian data yang diduga sebagai bentuk tuturan melanggar prinsip kesantunan Leech. Kemudian data diklasifikasikan berdasarkan pelanggaran maksim-maksim kesantunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa yang terdapat dalam acara di acara talk show Mata Najwa di TransTV mencakup keenam maksim kesantunan berbahasa; yaitu maksim kearifan, maksim kedermawanan, maksim pujian, maksim kerendahan hati, maksim kesepakatan, dan maksim kesimpatian.

The purpose of this article is to find out the illocutionary speech acts of Sandiaga Uno in the mata najwa talk show in TRANS 7 based on the form and type. The data obtained by the author comes from the utterances spoken by Sandiaga Uno in the Mata Najwa talk show on TRANS 7 which is re-aired on Najwa Shihab's Youtube channel April 15, 2021. The author collects data using listening and note-taking techniques. A speech act is an utterance that contains action as a functional unit in communication that considers aspects of the speech situation. Speech acts are classified into three, namely locutionary speech acts, illocutionary speech acts, and perlocutionary speech acts. In this article, the writer analyzes the illocutionary speech acts. Illocutionary speech acts are speech acts that are usually interpreted with explicit performative sentences. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the forms of illocutionary speech acts obtained are declarative and imperative forms. While the types of illocutionary speech acts obtained are assertive, directive, and expressive.

Задачей данной статьи является рассмотрение лингвопрагматических особенностей комментариев пользователей социальной сети «Твиттер» на выход Великобритании из ЕС. Анализ данных комментариев с лингвопрагматической точки зрения представляет интерес, так как показывает наиболее актуальную картину отношения пользователей социальных сетей к произошедшему событию. Приоритетными методами анализа лингвопрагматического потенциала Интернет-комментариев для нас являются: описательный метод, метод прагматического анализа, т.е. рассмотрение языкового материала в его непосредственном контексте в функциональном аспекте, метод частичной выборки, метод контекстологического описания. Контекстуальный метод был использован с целью установления особенностей комментариев в среде социальной сети «Твиттер»; описательный метод - для выявления непосредственного отношения пользователей социальных сетей к выходу Великобритании из ЕС; частичной выборки - для отбора наиболее эффективных и целостных комментариев с позиции прагматики и их реализации в данном контексте. Проведённое исследование позволило установить, что большинство людей удовлетворено результатами выхода Великобритании из ЕС и положительно отзывается об этом событии. Об этом свидетельствует как большое количество экспрессивов, использованных в интернет-комментариях в отношении данного события, так и активное употребление в них оценочной лексики. Результаты проведённого исследования могут быть применены в теоретических работах по описанию характеристик речевых актов, в курсе теоретической грамматики, стилистики, прагмалингвистики. The purpose of this article is to review the linguo-pragmatic features of Brexit represented in the comments in Twitter. Their analysis from a linguistic-pragmatic point of view may be of interest, since it shows the most relevant picture of the relationship of social network users for the event. The priority methods for analyzing the linguo-pragmatic potential of Internet comments for us are: a descriptive method, a pragmatic analysis method, i.e. consideration of linguistic material in its immediate context in the functional aspect, partial sampling method, contextual description method. The contextual method was used to establish the characteristics of comments on the Twitter social network; descriptive method was used to identify the direct relationship of social network users to the UK exit from the EU; partial sampling was used to select the most effective and holistic comments from the position of pragmatics and their implementation in this context. The study found that most people are satisfied with the results of the UK exit from the EU and respond positively to this event. The results of the study can be applied in theoretical works on the description of the characteristics of speech acts, in the course of theoretical grammar, stylistics, pragmalinguistics.

Verbal Violence in the Kiko Cartoon Film. This research aims to describe theverbal violence in the forms of the directive, and expressive speech acts in the Kikocartoon. This was qualititative research. The data were the words or sentencesused in the Kiko cartoon. The data source of research was the cartoon film of Kiko.Data were collected using the note-taking technique. The research instrument usedwere laptop and data cards. Laptop and data cards are used as a video player andas a tool to listen and understand the utterances in the Kiko cartoon. Furthermore,the data collected were analyzed based on verbal violence in the forms of thedirective, and expressive speech acts. The additional instrument was the data cardsby which the researcher collected data on the types off speech acts and groupedthem according to the directive and expressive speech acts and grouped themaccording to the directive and expressive speech acts. The results of the researchindicated that 117 speech acts including 33 types of rebuked violence, 55 types ofharassment, two types of accusations, 20 types of coercion, and seven types ofintimidation. b) 56 directive speech acts consisting of 29 commandment speechacts, 2 threat, seven rejection seepch acts, 13 opposing speech acts, five denialspeech acts. c) 61 expressive speech acts consisting of 11 speech acts forexpressing displeasure, 17 speech acts for criticizing, 15 speech acts for swearing,15 speech acts for insulting, and there speech acts for exspressing satire.Key words:verbal violence, Kiko cartoon film

AbstractViolation of the speech maxim in the Presidential Candidates Election Debate of theRepublic of indonesia In 2019.This research was aimed at describing the forms of violationof the speech act maxim and describing the functions of violationofspeech act maxim in thepresidential candidate election debate of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019. This research wasqualitative, and conducted by using the descriptive method. The soutce of data was thePresidential Candidate Election Debate of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019. The researchresults of speech maxim violation in the Presidential Candidate Election Debate of theRepublic of Indonesia in 2019 consist of 5 research problems, which are: (1) the form ofquantity of maxim violation, (2) the form of quality of maxim violation, (3) the form of relevanceof maxim violation, (4) the form of method of maxim violation, and (5) the functions of speechacts of maxim violation. The form of quantity maxim violation consists of statements containinganswers that comprise the information needed. The form of quality maxim violation consists ofstatements that contain answers which are less convincing, and contain answers which aresimilar or agree to the questions, and also contain answers which the evidence is not true. Theform of relevance maxim violation consists of statements which contain answers that are notrelevance with the questions and contain the contents of the correct answer but are notrelevance. The form of method maxim violation consists of statements which containambiguous answers, and contain long and wordy answers. The function of the speech acts hasfour functions: Representative function which consists of statements of affirmation, conclusion,and facts. Expressive function consists of statements of praise, difficulty, happiness, andmisery. Wujud pelanggaran maksim cara terdiridari pernyataan yang mengandung jawaban yang ambigu, dan mengandung jawaban panjanglebar, bertele-tele. Fungsi tindak tutur memiliki empat fungsi yaitu: Fungsi representatif yangterdiri dari pernyataan penegasan, kesimpulan, fakta. Fungsi ekspresif terdiri dari pernyataanmemuji, kesulitan, kesenangan, kesengsaraan. Fungsi direktif terdiri dari pernyataanmenyuruh, memberi saran, perintah. Abstract: This research deals with directive speech in the Mario Teguh Golden Ways. This study uses a qualitative approach. That is, data that has been found later identified, analyzed and classified through a qualitative analysis. In line with the approach, the method used is descriptive method. From the results of the study, it is showed that the speech act in Mario Teguh Golden Ways is a directive speech act, which is seen from the number of words used by Mario in giving advice. This can be seen in terms of understanding that researcher found. Directive speech acts (directives) illocutionary aim to produce an effect of an act committed by the addressees; this illocutionary is for example, ordering, commanding, pleading, demanding, and giving advice. Keywords: Discourse, Directives Speech Acts, Mario Teguh Golden Ways Abstrak: Penelitian ini berkenaan dengan bentuk tidak tutur direktif dalam acara Mario Teguh Golden Ways. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Artinya, data yang telah ditemukan kemudian diidentifikasi, dianalisis dan diklasifikasikan melalui analisis secara kualitatif. Sejalan dengan pendekatannya, metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur yang banyak terdapat pada acara Mario Teguh Golden Ways adalah tindak tutur direktif yang dapat diamati dari banyaknya kalimat yang digunakan oleh Mario Teguh dalam berbicara memberi saran dan nasihat. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari segi pengertian yang telah peneliti dapatkan. <p>The objectives of this research are: to describe the forms of speech acts and to show the most dominant speech act and the reasons of its use; and to describe and define the politeness principle found in the the goods sale and purchase process at traditional markets in Surakarta.</p><p>This research used the descriptive qualitive method with the pragmatics approach. Its sources were conversations or dialogues. The data of the research were utterances and their contexts which contain speech acts and which apply the cooperative principle in the goods sale and purchase process at traditional markets in Surakarta, namely: <em>Pasar Gedhe</em> market, <em>Pasar Klewer</em> market, <em>Pasar Ledoksari</em> market, <em>Pasar Nusukan </em>market, and <em>Pasar Mojosongo</em> market. The collection of the data used the listening method. The data were collected through tapping, uninvolved conversation observation, recording technique, and note-taking techniques. They were analyzed by using the means-end techique. The result of the analysis was presented with informal and formal methods.</p><p>There are five types of speech act employed by the sellers and the buyers to express their intentions, namely: utterances, (b) verdictive utterances, (c) directive utterances, (d) commissive utterances, and phatic utterances<em>.</em> The most dominant speech act used in the goods sale and purchase process at traditional markets in Surakarta is commisive utterances as indicated by 88 data. In relation to the cooperative principle, in the goods sale and purchase process at traditional markets in Surakarta some speech acts adhere to the cooperative principle, but some violate it. The adherence to and violence of the cooperative principle are balanced in term of frequency i.e. 95 data for each. The latter is due to the intentions of the sellers and the buyers to show their politeness.</p><p>There are applications of the speech act theory, the cooperative principle, and the politeness in the dialogues between the sellers and the buyers in the the goods sale and purchase process at traditional markets in Surakarta</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Keywords:    </strong>Speech act, cooperative principle, sale and purchase process, pragmatics</p>

This study aims to describe the use of language in advertising beverage products on television. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The implementation of research refers to the design of language analysis techniques, namely the provision, analysis and presentation of data. The data is provided using the interview method and note taking technique. The results of the study found that in general the use of language in advertisements uses speech acts that state something (locution), provide information that interests the public (localization) which impacts to encourage them to use the advertised product. In addition, advertising also utilizes the implicative speech by packaging information presentations that implicitly invites people to buy or use the product.
