This study aims to determine and analyze: 1) The implementation of the Suroan Tradition of the Javanese Migrant Community in HessaPerlompongan Village, Dusun IV, 2) The Meaning of Suroan of the Javanese Migrants in HessaPerlompongan Village, Dusun IV. This study applied a qualitative method, where the research was carried out on the Javanese Migrant Community in HessaPerlompongan Village, Dusun IV, AirBatu District Asahan Regency. The data validity was guaranteed by detailed observation and data triangulation. The results show that: 1). The Javanese migrant community in hamlet IV HessaPerlompongan did not abandon the Javanese tradition that was brought by their ancestors 2). The implementation of the Suroan in Hamlet IV HessaPerlompongan usually coincides with the 1st of Suromonth, marked by two series of activities: Genduri and The Kuda Lumping Show (JarangKepang) 3). The Javanese migrants in hamlet IV interpret one Suro night or throughout the Suro month as well as: a month that is required to be eling (remember) and alert, interpreting the Suro month as a month full of calamities so that in this month the Javanese people are not allowed to build houses, hold for events such as weddings, circumcision parties, and others. Javanese people in hamlet IV interpret the Suro month as a form of respect for their previous ancestors' spirits and as a month full of fear and, like spirits, continue to appear. In this case, the Javanese Migrant Community in HessaPerlompongan Village, Dusun IV, Air Batu District, Asahan Regency should continue to preserve the customs, habits, and traditions of their ancestors and pass them on to future generations (children and grandchildren) so that these traditions do not become extinct and remain sustainable.Keyword: Community, Javanese Migrants, tradition, Suroan

This study was aimed at describing the profile of Fijai, a student of program kesetaraan paket A Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar of Bengkulu municipality(case study on Fijai who is also a clown). This study used qualitative method. Data collection was done by interview , documentation, and observation. The subjects of this study included Fijai's parents and Fijai's tutor at program kesetaraan paket A Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar of Bengkulu municipality. Data validity was examined using triangulation of subject, technique and time. Data were analyzed through three steps which were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. From the results, Fijai's profile was as follows. Firstly, how was Fijai's family background? His parents did not have a job except to help him work as a clown. Fijai got Rp 2,500,000/month from his job as a clown. Secondly, how was his study at program kesetaraan paket A Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar of Bengkulu municipality? He always attended the class once a week. Thirdly,how did he do his job as a clown? He started his job from 10 A.M. until 5 P.M. He moved around while doing his job, sometimes at Suka Merindu traffic light, traffic light near the roundabout, and other traffic lights. Fourthly,how was his parents' response on his education and his job as a clown? His parents agreed with his education at SKB and his job as a clown did not disturb his education. Fively,how was his tutor's response on his education and his job as a clown? According to his tutor he had highly enthusiasm in studying, he always attended the class once a week. The Phenomenon of Bia Music in Batu village community needs to be closely examined considering that the Bia Music in the past to the present time is shifting and changing, due to lack of awareness, people's behavior towards Mia Music. The music of this tradition is very apprehensive to see the reality of the players from year to year diminishing in quantity and quality. The purpose of this research is to analyze: (1) Function of Bia Music, (2) Social reality that happened in society. This research uses qualitative method with data collection technique of interview, observation and document study. The technique of data validity is based on the credibility criteria, using triangulation of data. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the Functions of Bia Music, among others, as a medium of ritual, communication media, into evangelism media, events of cultural festivals, education, association, entertainment and publicity. There are three moments of dialectics in the social realities of externalization, objectivity, and internalization.

<p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p><em><strong>Background</strong>: IHP (Integrated health post) is a form of UKBM (Community Resources Based-Health Effort) that is managed and administered from, by for and together with community in health development IHP administration involved many parties such as cadres, health staff and village head. Rawasari Primary</em><br /><em>Health Care had the lowest coverage level of D/S (33.2%), while Olak Kemang Primary Health Care had the highest D/S coverage (81.98%).</em></p><p><em><strong>Objectives</strong>: To study thoroughly the role of village head, health staff, and cadres in increasing the participation of underfive’s mothers to visit IHP.</em></p><p><em><strong>Methods</strong>: This was descriptive study used qualitative method by phonological approach. Informants were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection was performed by 2 methods, in-depth interview to 16 informants and focus group discussion (FGD) to 28 informants. Data validity was performed by source</em><br /><em>and method of triangulation.</em></p><p><em><strong>Results</strong>: Village head, nutrition staffs, health cadres, PKK woman and community figures from the highest D/S coverage area took a role in increasing participation of the mother of underfive, but they who were from the lowest D/S coverage did not. They contributed in different way in increasing their participation. Head villages gave the motivation and direction, nutrition staffs attended the IHP, cadres took a role by arrange arisan and ballon provision, and PKK’S woman delegated their member to attend IHP monthly (highest D/S) but they whom from the lowest D/S coverage area did not.</em></p><p><em><strong>Conclusion</strong>: Village head, nutrition staffs, health cadres, PKK woman, and community figures in highest D/S coverage area took a role in increasing participation of underfive’s mothers to visit IHP, but they who where from the lowest D/S coverage did not. The Innovation a creativity encourage the mothers to visit IHP.</em></p><p><strong>KEYWORDS</strong><em>: village head, health staff, cadre, PKK woman, community figure, woman who had underfive</em></p><p><strong>A</strong><strong>BSTRAK</strong></p><p><em><strong></strong></em><em><strong>Latar belakang</strong>: Posyandu merupakan bentuk upaya kesehatan bersumber daya masyarakat (UKBM) yang dikelola dan diselenggarakan dari, oleh, untuk dan bersama masyarakat dalam pembangunan kesehatan. Terselenggaranya posyandu melibatkan banyak pihak di antaranya kader, petugas kesehatan dan Lurah. Puskesmas Rawasari dengan tingkat cakupan D/S terendah yaitu 33,2%, dan Puskesmas Olak Kemang dengan cakupan D/S tertinggi yaitu 81,98%.</em></p><p><em><strong>Tujuan</strong>: Mengkaji secara mendalam peran lurah, petugas kesehatan, dan kader dalam meningkatkan partisipasi ibu balita ke posyandu. </em></p><p><em><strong>Metode</strong>: Penelitian deskriptif menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Informan dipilih secara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan 2 metode, wawancara mendalam terhadap 16 orang informan dan diskusi kelompok terfokus (DKT) terhadap 28 orang informan. Keabsahan data dengan melakukan triangulasi sumber dan metode.</em></p><p><em><strong>Hasil</strong>: Lurah, petugas gizi, kader, ibu PKK, dan tokoh masyarakat dari wilayah cakupan D/S tertinggi berperan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi ibu balita namun di wilayah D/S terendah tidak. Masing-masing berkontiribusi dengan cara yang berbeda misalnya lurah memberikan motivasi dan arahan, petugas gizi datang ke posyandu, kader membuat arisan dan membagikan balon saat posyandu, dan ibu PKK mendelegasikan salah satu anggota untuk datang ke posyandu setiap bulan (D/S tertinggi). Sementara kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut tidak dilakukan di wilayah D/S terendah.</em></p><p><em><strong>Kesimpulan</strong>: Lurah, petugas gizi, kader, ibu PKK dan tokoh masyarakat (D/S terendah) tidak berperan dan lurah, petugas gizi, kader, ibu PKK dan tokoh masyarakat (D/S tertinggi) berperan. Kesepian yang dialami lansia di panti jompo memberi dampak negatif pada perilaku sosial. Peneliti ingin mengungkapkan perilaku lansia yang mengalami kesepian dan implikasinya terhadap konseling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan responden lansia yang mengalami kesepian di panti jompo Kasih sayang Ibu di Batusangkar. Adapun teknik yang digunakan untuk mengambil data yaitu melalui wawancara yang mendalam dan pengamatan. Analisis data menggunakan teori miless & Huberman, dan uji keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan beberapa hal; Pertama, munculnya perilaku negative dan salah suai lansia yang mengalami kesepian, dan perilaku tersebut muncul sebagai akibat ketidakmampuan dalam mengelola perasaan. Kedua, adanya usaha yang dilakukan lansia untuk menghilangkan kesepian, diantara yaitu melalui kegiatan ibadah dan berdiskusi dengan orang dipercaya. Ketiga, perilaku lansia yang mengalami kesepian dan usaha yang telah dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesepian tersebut berimplikasi pada penerapan konseling Islam, khususnya dari sisi interaksi sosial dan pengelolaan perasaan berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam, serta pemantapan nilai-nilai ibadah sebagai usaha untuk mengatasi kesepian.    Kata Kunci: lansia; kesepian; konseling Islam.__________________________________________________The loneliness experienced by the elderly in nursing homes has a negative impact on social behavior. The researcher wants to reveal the behavior of the elderly who experience loneliness and its implications for counseling. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, with elderly respondents who experience loneliness in nursing homes Mother's Love in Batusangkar. The technique used to retrieve data is through in-depth interviews and observations. Data analysis using the theory of Miless & Huberman, and data validity testing using triangulation. The results of the study found several things; First, the emergence of negative behavior and wrong elderly people who experience loneliness, and the behavior appears as a result of the inability to manage feelings. Secondly, there is an attempt by the elderly to eliminate loneliness, between, namely through worship activities and discussions with trusted people. Third, the behavior of the elderly who experience loneliness and the efforts that have been made to overcome loneliness have implications for the application of Islamic counseling, especially in terms of social interaction and management of feelings based on Islamic values, and the strengthening of worship values as an effort to overcome loneliness.Keywords: elderly; lonely; Islamic counseling.

The purpose of this research is to find out; The value of Islamic education and traditional values contained in the Mandi Safardi procession, Jin City Village, Atinggola District, North Gorontalo Regency.The method used is a qualitative method, the data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using reduction, display, and verification techniques, while the validity of the data was obtained by using triangulation techniques with methods and sources.The results of this study indicate that the Safar Bathing Tradition is believed to have existed since their ancestors first occupied the Jin City Village area. The Safar Bathing tradition carried out by the Jin City Village community contains Islamic educational values, namely: Worship Values, Moral Values, Moral Values, and Aqidah Values, 4) The Safar Bathing Tradition is maintained and passed down from generation to generation by the Jin City Village community. can be seen as an expressive symbol of the Jin City Village community Inspired by constitutive (religious) symbols that have a corelative-integrative and dynamic relationshipSuggestions from this research include; The Mandi Safar tradition as an ancestral cultural heritage should continue to be preserved for future generations by not eliminating the local Indonesian religious and cultural values contained in it as a medium for introducing ancestral traditions that are full of moral and religious values without ignoring the shari'ah. This study aims to obtain an overview of how to foster children's character through the role of Islamic education from Mubaligh and contributions of parents in Gayau Pantu Sri Aman village, Sarawak, Malaysia. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The subjects of this study were children aged 10-12 years old. The minority converts are tenheads of families, and the preacher consists of two people who come from the community. Data were collected through interviews and observations. Data analysis refers to the Milles and Huberman model, namely: 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, and 4) makingconclusions. The data validity technique used triangulation of data and sources. The results showed that mubaligh and parents play a role in developing children's character by applying social-oriented religious learning. Religion and tolerance are the most dominant characters that grow in children.

This study aims to examine the interests of the actors involved in the policy formulation of land acquisition for the development of Mandalika Resort area in Lombok that caused community opposition reaction, as it will remove them from the land they have occupied for years as their residence and earn a living as farmers. This research used qualitative method of critical paradigm, by determining the informant in snow ball sampling technique. Data collection was done by interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis referred to an interactive model. While the data validity test used data credibility criteria. The results of this research states that the tourism policy by the local government actors and tourism development companies to facilitate business interests or policy capitalization has caused the value in the importance of local communities which has never been taken into account in the determination of local-level policies.

The relationship of parents and teachers in the education unit has an important role in optimizing students' abilities. But the outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic has an impact on education services. Therefore, this study aims to determine tips on the optimization of teachers and parents in the religious and moral aspects of the children during home learning. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method at RA Ar-Rafif Kalasan Yogyakarta (n=15). The data sources of this study are teachers, principals, and parents. Research data were collected through field observations, interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation in form of photos/videos and captures of conversation between teachers and parents. The data validity is tested by using triangulation techniques. The data analysis is acquired by reducing the data that has been collected, presenting the data, and providing conclusions of the research results. The research result shows that synergy of parents and teachers can optimize children’s development aspects of religion and moral obtained through various programs and activities designed by the educators.

The purpose of this study was to examine the development of the entrepreneurial character values of students in building the character of the Indonesian Nation in the State Vocational High School (SMKN) 2 Lubuk Basung. These character values are creative, hard work, disciplined and honest. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Informants in this study were the principal, teachers, heads of departments and students. Data collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity test is done by checking (triangulation) by checking the correctness of the data then comparing the data obtained from other sources. The data obtained were analyzed by referring to the Miles and Huberman analysis model with steps namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing (verification). The results of this study explain that coaching entrepreneurial character through entrepreneurial learning. The character form of honesty of students is to sell the results of their own practice by reporting the results to the teacher, doing assignments honestly. Discipline Character completes assignments and enters class on time, using practice clothes when practice. The character of hard work completing tasks in accordance with the specified time, looking for information relating to the given task. The creative character determines the product to be produced, resolves obstacles with its own abilities.

One of living tradition in Bangkes, Kadur, Pamekasan, is Shamadiyah forum where members read Surah al-Ikhlash. This research aims to observe the practice using qualitative method with phenomenological approach. It uses observation, interviews and documentation as data compilation technique while phenomenological approach. it uses observavation, interviews and documentation as data compilation technique while the analysis is throung descriptive-explanatory. Checking the data validity using extended participation, persistent observations and triangulation, it reveals two results: (1) Shamadiyah is a forum after seven to forty days of anyones’s death. Fellows of the forum read Surah al-Ikhlash 100,000 times in a certain period of time using tools such as stationery or the likes to be sent later to the tomb. (2) The recitation implies a wish that it can atone for the deceased’s sins as fida’an min al-nar. The community believes that reading Surah al-Ikhlash in that condition can send blessings to the deceased so that it can atone the grave’s torture and his/her sins.
