Confidence is important to be possessed by students through the learning process, students who have low self-confidence will be less optimal in developing ability. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of gestalt counseling with the technique around to improve confidence in the learning process in students of class XI MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja academic year 2016/2017. This type of research is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. Samples of research were six students selected through purposive sampling technique. Methods of data collection using a confident questionnaire that has been calculated the validity and reliability. The subjects from the study were students of class XI MIA 4 who had low self-esteem. Data analysis technique used is t-test statistical analysis technique. The results from the analysis, found that gestalt counseling with the technique of traveling can increase confidence. It is concluded from the analysis result, t count> table with significance level 5% (4, 38> 2, 015). The results from the analysis show that the hypothesis proposed in this study is acceptable. As the implication of this research is expected to be an alternative for counseling teachers in schools in improving student self-confidence.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian positive reinforcement terhadap rasa percaya diri anak kelompok B TK Dharma Widya Kumara Denpasar Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Rasa percaya diri adalah perasaan yakin dan mampu akan kemampuan diri sendiri yang merupakan modal setiap manusia menuju suatu kesuksesan, mudah bergaul, beinteraksi, dan lebih mudah menyerap informasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperiment dengan rancangan yang digunakan adalah Intact Group comparison. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 4 kelas yang berjumlah 85 anak. sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 42 anak. Penentuan sampel yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pada kelompok eksperimen diberikan positive reinforcement sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis diperoleh thitung = 7,84 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk (21+21-2=40) diperoleh ttabel = 2,021 sehingga thitung 7,84 > ttabel 2,021. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, maka H0 ditolak. Adapun nilai rata-rata rasa percaya diri pada kelompok anak yang diberikan positive reinforcement adalah 81,34 sedangkan pada kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 64,79. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian positive reinforcement dapat berpengaruh terhadap rasa percaya diri anak kelompok B TK Dharma Widya Kumara Denpasar Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Berdasarkan simpulan tersebut, maka disarankan kepada guru agar menciptakan suasana belajar yang efektif dan menyenangkan dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk membentuk rasa percaya diri anakKata Kunci : positive reinforcement, rasa percaya diri This study aims to determine the effect of giving positive reinforcement on the confidence of children in the B group Dharma Widya Kumara Kindergarten Denpasar Academic Year 2018/2019. Self-confidence is feeling confident and capable of one's own abilities which is the capital of every human being towards a success, easy to interact, interact with, and more easily absorb information. This research is a pre-experiment research with the design used is Intact Group comparison. The population of this study were 4 classes totaling 85 children. the sample used in this study amounted to 42 children. Determination of the sample is by using random sampling technique. In the experimental group given positive reinforcement while in the control group learned by conventional learning. Data collection is done using the observation method. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. The results of the analysis obtained thitung = 7.84 at the significance level of 5% with dk (21 + 21-2 = 40) obtained t table = 2.021 so that tcount 7.84> t table 2.021. Based on the testing criteria, H0 is rejected. The average value of self-confidence in the group of children given positive reinforcement is 81.34 while in the group of children taught by conventional learning is 64.79. Thus, it can be concluded that giving positive reinforcement can affect the confidence of children in the B group Dharma Widya Kumara Kindergarten Denpasar Academic Year 2018/2019. Based on these conclusions, it is suggested to the teacher to create an effective and enjoyable learning atmosphere by applying innovative learning strategies to shape children's self-confidencekeyword : positive reinforcement,self-confidence

Abstract: This study aims to determine the relationship between self esteem and self regulation with fear of missing out. The research design used is descriptive correlational. The research sample amounted to 154 students obtained through purposive sampling technique. The instruments used are self esteem scale, self regulation scale and fear of missing out scale which have been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis technique used is Pearson Product Moment correlation and multiple correlation. The results showed that there was no relationship between self esteem and self regulation with fear of missing out students of SMA Negeri 7 Malang. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self esteem dan self regulation dengan fear of missing out. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 154 siswa yang diperoleh melalui teknik pengambilan sampel sampling purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala self esteem, skala self regulation dan skala fear of missing out yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis yang digunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara self esteem dan self regulation dengan fear of missing out siswa SMA Negeri 7 Malang.

This study aims to determine the significant influence of parental attention in the learning motivation of high-grade students in thematic learning at SD Muhammadiyah Gisting in the academic year 2020/2021 school year. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population was 205 students with a sample of 66 students. The study used probability sampling technique, namely proportionate stratified random sampling. The data collection techniques were questionnaire and document study. The instrument was tested for the validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used was simple regression test. Results of the study show a positive and significant influence parents' attention in the learning motivation of high-grade students in thematic learning at SD Muhammadiyah Gisting in the academic year 2020/2021.

This study examines the relationship between self-confidence with students' mathematical communication skills. This research uses expost pacto method with correlation analysis technique. The population in this study is all students of class IX in one of the SMP Negri in Cimahi city (IX.A - IX.N) with the number of 504 students / The academic year 2017/2018. As for the sample in this study is the students of SMP class IX N with the number of 36 students / i. In this study using cluster random sampling technique that is random sampling. In the data collection is by using the questionnaire instrument (self-confidence questionnaire) and test of mathematical communication skills. Further data is analyzed quantitatively by using Pearson correlation formula in SPSS application. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between self-confidence with students' mathematical communication ability, with correlation coefficient value of 0.865 and Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000.

Being religious person is absolute for everyone, including the students of Islamic University. That’s why PTKI (Islamic University) does some efforts to strengthen the student’s religiousness. This research is intended to assess the quality of Islamic Education learning and the religiousness of PTKI students and also to observe the implication of this study to student’s religiousness. All students from selected Islamic University in East Kalimantan were taken as the population, and 374 students were chosen as the sample by multistage sampling technique. The technique of dominant data collection was done by doing the survey. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis and inferential linear regression, through calibration test (validity and reliability), requirement analysis test, normality test, homogenic test, and linearity test. The result of the research has shown that the learning of Islamic Education in Islamic University in East Kalimantan is done well (µ= 4,17). The learning process of Islamic Education in Islamic University has significant influence to student’s religiousness. The learning process of Islamic Education in Islamic University has contributed 54,6% to the increasing of student’s religiousness, while the rest of 45,4% is influenced by other factors. The student’s religiousness in aqeeda aspect is greater than shari’a/muamalah and morals.

Self-esteem is based on positive or negative evaluations of oneself, whereas social comparison is the effort of defining oneself through comparison with other people. Online social comparison is different from offline social comparison. An individual’s self-esteem can be predicted from their interactions on social media through social comparison. This research aims to understand the idea of self-esteem amongst the Instagram users. In the process, this study explores the idea of comparison, and evaluates the social comparison as a predictor of self-esteem. This research uses descriptive and predictive methods, with a population of 2016 students of the Faculty of Psychology Education of the State University of Malang. The sample was taken using the saturation sampling technique or census. The research uses the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Measure. The data were further analysed with a descriptive analysis technique using mean value, whereas the hypothesis test uses the simple linear regression technique. The results show that Ho is rejected with a significance level of 0.000, R-value of 0.382, and R-squared value of 0.146, which implies that social comparison contributes towards the existence of self-esteem by 14.6%. The lack of understanding of personality and behavior that is in themselves, this is the main factor in the failure of students in social relations both in the family, school and community. The main problem of students who are suspected to be factors of social inability and inadequate control of behavior both actions and communication is the inability to recognize their personalities and behaviors that can arise from the person himself. problems found in the field there are still many students who are not good at understanding their personality. In fact, as we all know, the ability to understand popular personalities and assertive behavior is also important in the career development of students in addition to their intellectual abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between popular personality and assertive behavior of SMAN 2 Pujut Central of Lombok in Academic Year 2019/2020. The population in this study were all students of SMAN 2 Pujut totaling 360 students. The sampling technique uses population research techniques. Data collection techniques in this study used the questionnaire method as the main method while observation, interviews, and documentation as a complementary method. The analysis technique in this study uses the Product Moment Correlation formula. The results of this study obtained r count greater than r table (0.989> 0.233) then the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted at the 5% significance level. The conclusion in this study is there is a relationship between popular personality and assertive behavior of SMAN 2 Pujut in Academic Year 2019/2020, then the results of this study are significant.

This research was motivated by the high self-confidence of students in the Ar-Royyan Elementary School, especially the first (1) class students who had the courage to appear in front of the class, dare to express their opinions, and dare to write in front of the class during the teaching and learning process. Allegedly the high self-confidence of students because of the implementation of outbound activity programs before the teaching and learning process in school. The purpose of the research is to see an overview of the planning, implementation and evaluation of outbound activities. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of the research was the executive committee of outbound activities at the Ar-Royyan Nature Elementary School (educators and education staff) totaling 50 people. The research sample was taken 50% of the total population of 25 people with simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and questionnaire data collection tools. Data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive technique with percentage calculation. The results of the study found that, (1) planning outbound activities looked very good, (2) the implementation of outbound activities looked very good, and (3) evaluation of the implementation of outbound activities looked very good. Suggestions to the Ar-Royyan Nature Elementary School, (1) in order to maintain the outbound activity program is always carried out at the time of admission of new students, and (2) the implementing committee of outbound activities maintain the quality of the implementation of outbound activities that have been carried out properly.Keywords: Outbound, Confidence

The research was purpose to find out the differences on learning result of natural science between group of students who have been taught using learning model science environment technology society and groups of students who have been taught using conventional learning model. This research was study quasi-experiment, with non-equivalent postttest only control group design.Population of this research is all of class V SD in Gugus III Mendoyo Sub-district amounts to 129 person. The sample of this research were class V SDN 8 Penyaringan amounts to 21 personand SDN 1 Penyaringan amounts to 23 person. The sample was determined using random sampling technique. Learning result data was collected using multiple choice test. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis technique and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results show that there are differences of result learning Inatural science between group of students who have been taught using learning model science environment technology society and groups of students who have been taught using conventional learning model class V SD in gugus III Mendoyo subdistrict.This is show by tcount (9,707)> ttable (2,000). Furthermore, the experimental group average (20.98) is greater than the control group mean (14.67). Thus, the science environment technology society learning model has a positive effect on the learning result of IPA in grade V SD students in Gugus III Mendoyo Subdistrict

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Batang Anai tahun pelajaran 2016/2017, siswa malu bertanya dan tidak berani mengeluarkan pendapat di dalam kelas, siswa hanya mengerti saat mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan menerapkan Teknik Spotlight lebih baik dari pada pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas VIII SMPN 1 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen, dengan rancangan penelitian random terhadap subjek. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Batang Anai tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdiri dari enam kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak, terpilih kelas VIII2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instumen penelitian adalah tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Bentuk tes yang digunakan adalah bentuk uraian dengan reliabilitas tes 0,780. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t satu pihak. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung =1,833 dan ttabel= 1,67. Hipotesis diterima karena thitung > ttabel, sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan diterima pada taraf nyata α = 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan penerapan strategi spotlight lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VIII SMPN 1 Batang Anai.Kata Kunci: Spotlight, Pemahaman Konsep.AbstractThis research is motivated by the lack of understanding of mathematical concepts in the VIII class at SMPN 1 Batang Anai 2016/2017 school year, students are embarrassed to ask and do not come forward and speak in the classroom, the students only understand when listening to the explanation from the teacher. This study aims to determine whether the student's understanding of mathematical concepts by applying the technique Spotlight better than on understanding mathematical concepts students with conventional learning in the VIII class at SMPN 1 Batang Anai, Padang Pariaman. This type of research is experimental research, the design of randomized trials on the subject. The study population was all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Batang Anai 2016/2017 academic year consisting of six classes. The sampling technique is done randomly selected the VIII2 class as an experimental class and the VIII4 class as the control class. Research instrument is a test of understanding mathematical concepts. The shape of the test used is the narrative form with the reliability of the test. The data analysis technique used is the test of the party. Based on the hypothesis test results obtained by value t = 1.833 and table = 1.67. Accepted hypothesis for t> t table, so the hypothesis is accepted at significance level α = 0.05. It can be concluded that students understanding of mathematical concepts with the application strategy better spotlight than understanding students mathematical concepts with conventional learning in the class of VIII at SMPN 1 Batang Anai.Keyword: Spotlight, understanding of concepts.
