This research aimed at describing the improvement of the students’ attitude towards mathematics lesson after following the lesson using mathematics history. This was a best practice research implemented in two phases: preparation and implementation. The subjects of this research were the students of class XII MIA 2 of SMA N 1 Kubu in the first semester of academic year 2019/2020. There were 25 students consisting of 10 male students and 15 female students. The data of students’ attitude were collected through attitude questionnaires. The collected data were then analyzed descriptively. This research showed that the students’ attitude of class XII MIA 2 of SMA N 1 Kubu in the first semester of academic year 2019/2020 towards mathematics lesson after following the lesson using mathematics history improved. The students’ attitude improved from pre-learning to post-learning using mathematics history. The average of students’ attitude was 48.21 before learning and in the fair category, meanwhile after learning, the average of students’ attitude towards mathematics lesson improved to 74.00 with good category. The improving students’ attitude had positive effect towards the improvement of mathematics learning achievement. The average of students’ daily test improved from 75.48 with learning mastery 92% at the first daily test to 78.72 with learning mastery 100% at the second daily test.

This research aims to obtain information about the use of props model of bands of numbers in improving mathematics learning outcomes about the operation of arithmetic numbers in class V students I SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo academic year 2017/2018.This research was conducted at SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo UPT Education District Giriwoyo Wonogiri Regency, September to October 2017. The research method used is classroom action research with two learning improvement cycles. The object of this research is the students of grade V of SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo, amounting to 14 students with details of 9 male students and five female students. Instruments for collecting data are student observation sheets in the learning process, teacher observation sheets in the learning process, and test of learning outcomes.The result of the research shows that there is an increase in learning result from initial condition 60,35 to 77,50 in cycle II (final condition). In addition, the number of students who reached the minimum criteria of completeness was increased from 3 students at the initial condition of 12 students on the final conditions. From the results of the above research can be stated that the use of model props can improve the results of mathematics learning about integer counting operations in Grade V students of first semester SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo.Keywords: Operation Count, Number Band

Seeing how big the role of mathematics in human life, even the future of a nation, then as a teacher in elementary schools who teach the basics of mathematics feel called to always try to improve learning and learning outcomes of mathematics. Reality in the field shows that mathematics learning outcomes are always at lower levels compared to other subjects. This can be seen from the results of daily mathematical tests on the basic competencies of calculating the building area of many facets only reaching an average of 67.9 or 54.5% of students achieving a value of 70. This study aims to prove and know the Concrete Media and the STAD Model can improve student learning outcomes in class VI-A. The subjects of this study were grade VI-A students of SD Negeri 62 / III Mukai Mudik in the 2017/2018 Academic Year. The number of research subjects was 22 students consisting of 14 male students and 8 female students. The study was carried out from 18 September to 16 October 2017. The research took place in class VI-A of SDN 62 / III Mukai Mudik, Siulak Mukai District, Kerinci Regency. While the research time is held in the first semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. Data were collected using student observation sheets, final cycle assessment / test sheets, and teacher activity questionnaires. Data collection time is at each end of learning in each cycle. The results of data analysis and discussion in this study can show some progress achieved during learning. So it can be concluded that learning using concrete media through the STAD model of student learning outcomes has increased, namely the first cycle achieving an average grade of 69.5, increasing in the second cycle reaching an average grade of 76.8. The completeness of the first cycle class is 72.7% and then increases in the second cycle reaching 83.6%.Keywords: extensive learning outcomes, constructive media and STAD

This study aims to implementation jarimatika method to promote students’mathematics leraning outcome for elementary school. This study was conductedin class third elementary schools. Design of this research was classroom actionresearch. Based on the results of mathematics learning students obtained data onthe initial score taken from the scores of the first semester Mathematics examstudents before the application of the Jarimatikaini method was 59.62 then thecycle I daily test increased by 13.63 to 73.42 with an increase percentage of22.80%. It can be concluded that the application of the Jarimatika method canimprove the results of third grade elementary school mathematics learning.

This is a pre experimental research which aims were determine the effectiveness of learning mathematics through application of TGT and NHT cooperative models combination which includes: (1) students’ activities, (2) teacher’s activity in managing learning, (3) students’ responses, and (4) mathematics learning student's achievement after the application of TGT and NHT cooperative models combination. Population is XII IA students at the first semester of academic year 2016/2017. The sample was 28 students taken through random cluster sampling technique. The results showed that: (1) students’ learning activities was good category; (2) the ability of teachers to manage learning was very good category; (3) students responded positively to the learning; and (4) the learning outcomes of after being taught by a combination of TGT and NHT cooperative models achieved 96,43% and the mean score is 83,04 with a standard deviation of 9,75.

This study was conducted to determine the difference of learning outcomes with the application of Mathematics learning with the application of Dienes Theory learning and the application of conventional learning in the fourth grade students of 02 N Bener Tengaran District in the first semester of academic year 2016/2017. This study is a quasi-experimental study. The design of this study used Posttest Only Control Design, that there were two groups selected at random, and then treated, then after the posttest treatment was given to determine the final result if there is a significant influence of learning by using Dienes Theory. The subjects of this study were the students of grade IV N Bener 01 with the number 32 and SD 02 N Bener Kabupaten Tengaran amounted to 34 students. The group was divided into two groups namely the class II SD N Bener experiment with the application of learning theory of Dienes, while the control group 01 SD N Bener was given the application of conventional learning. The average result of posttest score that has been done on control and experiment group is 76.06 and 79.26. While the test results are known 7,700 t-test with a significance value of 0.002. Based on t-test results and significance values of 0.002 ˂ 0.05, there is a significant difference in learning using Diene Theory of conventional learning. Based on posttest result in control group and experiment group, data analysis by using t-test, it can be concluded that there are differences of learning result of Mateatika using Dienes Theory and conventional learning on students of SD N Bener 02 District of Tengaran semester 1 academic year 2016/2017.

The problem formulation of this research is the Application of Expository Model with Demonstration Method and Giving Assignments to improve mathematics learning achievement of students of class IXC semester I of SMP Negeri 3 Selat, 2016/2017 school year. The purpose of this study was to improve mathematics learning achievement of students of class IXC of SMP Negeri 3 Selat in the first semester, 2016/2017 school year. The place for this class action research is at SMP Negeri 3 Selat, by taking the research subjects of class IXC students in the first semester of 2016/2017 school year. The object of this class action research is an increase in Mathematics learning achievement of students of class IXC Middle School 3 Strait, 2016/2017 academic year. The initial average value of 69.83 rose to 74.67 in the first cycle and in the second cycle rose to 75.64. The expository model with demonstration and assignment methods is very effective to be applied in the learning process that results in active, enthusiastic, critical thinking students and can understand the material being taught so that students' learning achievement increases.

Pandemic began to enter this country around March 2020. Since then, almost all teachers, students and schools were shocked by the very sudden change. Online learning becomes one of the solution in learning.However, many students could not follow this online learning well. Therefore, the teachers have to be very careful in choosing and planning online learning media for teaching otherwise the result would be dissatisfying. This paper reports a best practice on the use of “wegoquiz”media in improving the students’ English achievement at SMAN 1 Batang Anai. It is a combination of three media in online learning. The three media  are learning website with google site, google meet and quizziz. These media were used to the third year students in the first semester of 2021/2022 academic year. The result shows that by using “wegoquiz”,the students’engagement in learning process is improving a lot. They learned using the website, they attended google meet and they did the quizziz several times. As a result, their English achievement is also improving significantly.

This Best Practice is implemented to improve mathematics learning outcomes of vocational through the use of a Pen Tablet with the Google Meet application. The subjects of this study were 155 students of SMKN 5 Kota Serang class XII OTKP and XII TKJ who were conducted in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year with the material: Three Dimensional Geometry, Statistics and Probability. This Best Practice describes the learning process using media in the form of a Pen Tablet with the Google Meet application. Quantitative data were obtained from daily test scores with written test techniques in the form of descriptions, while qualitative data were obtained from observations of student activity. After students were taught mathematics using Pen Tablet with the Google Meet application, learning outcomes increased by 24.6% from the average chapter 1 material of 62,00 which continued to increase in chapter 3 material to 77.25. The implementation of Best Practice shows that the use of the Pen Tablet with the Google Meet application can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of SMK students, especially students of class XII OTKP and XII TKJ SMKN 5 Kota Serang in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. ABSTRAKBest Practice ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika SMK melalui penggunaan Pen Tablet dengan aplikasi Google Meet. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa SMKN 5 Kota Serang kelas XII OTKP dan XII TKJ yang berjumlah 155 orang yang dilakukan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dengan materi : Geometri Dimensi Tiga, Statistika dan Peluang. Best Practice ini menggambarkan tentang proses pembelajaran menggunakan media berupa Pen Tablet dengan aplikasi Google Meet. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari nilai ulangan harian dengan teknik test tertulis bentuk uraian, sedangkan data kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil observasi keaktifan siswa. Setelah siswa diajarkan matematika menggunakan Pen Tablet dengan aplikasi Google Meet hasil belajar meningkat sebesar 24,6 % dari rata-rata materi bab 1 62,00 meningkat terus pada materi bab 3 menjadi 77,25. Pelaksanaan Best Practice menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Pen Tablet dengan aplikasi Google Meet dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa SMK terutama siswa kelas XII OTKP dan XII TKJ SMKN 5 Kota Serang semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2021/2022.

ABSTRAK:Tingkat keaktifan siswa dalam mempelajari Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) secara klasikalrendah. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan menerapkan suatumodel pembelajaran yang menarik dan inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas siswakelas XII IIS 4 SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak, dalam mempelajari Microsoft Excel pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran2015/2016 dengan menggunakan “learning together”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelasyang meliputi 2 siklus: (1) Siklus I, yang membahas materi fungsi teks, tanggal, dan waktu; dan (2) Siklus II, yangmembahas materi fungsi statistik dan logika. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasiaktivitas siswa, lembar obervasi kegiatan guru, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakanteknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas siswa. Pada siklus I, persentasekeaktifan siswa adalah 54%, dan pada siklus II, persentase ini naik menjadi 77%. Disarankan kepada guru untukmenggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together sebagai model pembelajaran pada materi formulaMicrosoft Excel untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa. Pembelajaran dengan model learning together mampu membuatsiswa menjadi lebih aktif sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai dengan optimal.Kata Kunci: aktivitas siswa, formula microsoft excel, learning together.ABSTRACT:Students’ activity in learning information and communication technology (ICT) in classical setting is low.One of the efforts that teachers can take to cope with this problem is by applying an interresting and innovativelearning model. This research wasaimed to get to know the activity improvement of XII IIS 4 students of SMA Negeri2 Pontianak, in learning Microsoft Excel in the first semester of 2015/2016 academic year by using “learning together”.It applied classroom action research method, that was carried out in two phases: (1) cycle I, i.e. about the material oftext, date, and time functions; and (2) cycle II, i.e. about the material of statistic and logic functions. Data collection wasconducted by using students’ activity observation form, teacher’s activity observation form, and documentation. Dataanalysis was conducted by using descriptive qualitative technique. The result indicates some improvement on students’activity. In cycle I, students’ activeness percentage was 54%, while in cycle II, it increased to be 77%. It is recommendedthat teachers should apply cooperative learning with the type of “learning together” as the learning model for thematerial of Microsoft Excel formula to improve students’ activity. By using learning together, learning process canmake the students more active so that the learning objectives can be achieved optimally.Keywords:students’ activity, microsoft excel formula, learning together

This paper reports on a Mathematics Learning Support (MLS) tutor training programme implemented on a coordinated basis across three universities in Ireland in 2015 by the Irish Mathematics Learning Support Network (IMLSN). The training events were conducted in September near the start of the first semester of the academic year. Focus groups were conducted at the end of the semester in the three institutions with tutors who had participated in the training events to evaluate the workshops and their impact on the tutors’ MLS teaching.
