Politeness of expression and character education are both crucial aspects, in the current era of disruption, especially concerning sociopragmatic political purposes. The realization of politeness acts of language in the context of communication and global communication has now penetrated without limits on social distance, time, and goals. The problem is the act of language in electronic media, especially Instagram, giving space to the user to be more open in expressing his goals and objectives, including to the president in relation to specific goals and politics. This study aims to identify the forms of positive politeness acts of followers' comments on President Jokowi's official Instagram account and describe the intent of politico pragmatic power of positive politeness of followers of Jokowi's Instagram accounts. The data source of this study was the speech of followers on the official Instagram account of Indonesian President Jokowi #MenujuIndonesiaMaju managed by the President's Digital Communication Team for the period October-November 2018. The study data were in the form of comments from Jokowi's Instagram account followers who had positive politico pragmatic politeness. The data collection technique was carried out using documentation, note-taking techniques, and continued with heuristic listening techniques. Data analysis was performed with an intralingual equivalent technique which was strengthened by an extra lingual equivalent and sharpened with Levinson's politeness analysis technique based on the principle of harmony in Javanese culture. The results of the study showed that the form of positive politeness acts that were most used by followers was by giving attention to the speech partners. Political propaganda power of dominant followers’ comments was in the form of the power to ask and support rather than the power of praise, the power of influence, the power of motivation, and the power of suggestion. It shows that Instagram account followers have an optimistic attitude towards Jokowi's leadership. Jokowi's managerial, and leadership performance has a positive face among followers. This power of praise, motivation, and advice is an essential component in the formation of children's character education in the current era of disruption of education.

Character education is an effort to reinforce character values to create Indonesia's golden generation. This study aimed to describe and explain the educational value of goodness and responsibility character in the novel of Guru Aini. The data in this study are data on the values of character education in the form of dialogue quotes, sentences, and paragraphs in novels. The data source is the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. The data collection technique which is used is documentation techniques with reading, recording, and assessment activities. The validation technique used theory triangulation and data triangulation. The data analysis technique used an interactive model analysis technique which includes three components, namely: (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) drawing conclusions. The results showed that the novel contains the educational value of good character related to giving, such as giving appreciation, forgiveness, knowledge, and goods. Meanwhile, the educational value of the responsibility character reflected that a more responsible attitude as a teacher and a student. The novel of Guru Aini can be used as a media for giving the values of character education.

Character education is needed to build quality human resources. This study aims to describe and explain the values of character education through problematic characters in the novel Orang-Orang Biasa. The data in this study are data on the values of character education in the form of dialogue quotes, sentences, and paragraphs in novels. The data source is Andrea Hirata's novel Orang-Orang Biasa. The data collection technique uses documentation techniques with reading, recording, and assessment activities. The validation technique used is the theory triangulation technique and data triangulation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model analysis technique which includes three components, namely: (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) drawing conclusions. The results showed that the novel contained eight values of character education, namely integrity, preseverance, kindness, responsibility, self-discipline, courage, good judgment, and respect. This value is represented by eight different figures. Novels of Orang-Orang Biasa can be used as a medium to add values to character education through literary learning. Character education is very essential. Good character brings peace, happiness and peace of mind, both personally and socially, even for the nation. Character education reflection is shown in many puppet shows. Wayang as a spectacle and guidance. Wayang as a spectacle is for entertainment, while as a guidance is a vehicle for character education. Which is indeed full of character education. The data source of this research was "Banjaran Bima Play" in the video of Ki Seno Nugroho's puppet show, and is done by exploring and collaborating character education in the Banjaran Bima puppet play and its implications in education. This research used an instrument in the form of data cards. Data collection was done through the stages of observing, transcribing, identifying, and coding. The data validity was established through in-depth observation, repeated studies, extended participation, peer discussions, and source triangulation. Data analysis technique used the steps of classification, description, interpretation, elaboration, and conclusion. The results of the study show the character of (1) Godhead, (2) obedient to teachers and parents, (3) nationalism, (4) integrity, (5) responsibility, (6) discipline, (7) respect for others, ( 8) independent, (9) mutual cooperation, (10) hard worker, and (11) smart. These various characters can be implicated in the field of education, both at the education center (informal, formal and non-formal) and at every level of education (elementary school to university). This is evidenced that these characters are always contained in the Education Curriculum in Indonesia since 1947 to 2013 with various developments. Keywords: character, puppet, Banjaran Bima, spectacle, guidance,  PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM LAKON BAJARAN BIMA DAN IMPLIKASINYA  DALAM PENDIDIKAN Pendidikan karakter amatlah penting. Wayang sebagai tontonan dan tuntunan. Sebagai tontonan wayang untuk hiburan, sebagai tuntutan wayang sebagai wahana pendidikan karakter.  Sumber data penelitian adalah Lakon Banjaran Bima dalam video pagelaran wayang oleh Ki Seno Nugroho dengan mengeksplorasi dan mengalobari pendidikan karakter dalam lakon wayang  Banjaran Bima dan implikasinya pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen yang berupa kartu data. Pemerolehan data melalui tahapan mengamati, mentranskripsi, mengidentifikasi, dan kodifikasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan pengamatan yang mendalam/cermat, kajian berulang, perpanjangan keikutsertaan, diskusi teman sejawat, triangulasi sumber.  Analisis data menggunakan langkah klasifikasi, deskripsi, interpretasi, elaborasi, dan inferensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakter (1) Berketuhanan, (2) patuh pada guru dan orang tua, (3) nasionalisme, (4) integritas, (5) bertanggung jawab, (6) kedisiplinan, (7) menghormati orang lain, (8) mandiri, (9) gotong royong, (10) pekerja keras, dan (11) cerdas. Berbagai karakter tersebut dapat diimplikasikan dalam bidang pendidikan, baik pada tripusat pendidikan (informal, formal, dan nonformal) maupun pada setiap jenjang pendidikan (Sekolah Dasar  hingga Perguruan Tinggi). Hal ini dibuktikan bahwa karakter-karakter tersebut selalu termuat dalam Kurikulum Pendidikan di Indonesia semenjak 1947 hingga 2013 dengan mengalami berbagai perkembangan. Kata kunci: karakter, wayang, Banjaran Bima, tontonan, tuntunan

This research is motivated by the importance of the use of good and correct Indonesian in any context including in electronic media. The purpose of this study is to analyze some of the errors and language errors spoken by participants of Master Chef Indonesia 2020. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods by describing the data obtained in the form of sentences used by Indonesian Master Chef participants. The data source in this study was the participants of the Indonesian Master Chef 2020. The data collection technique was carried out with literature study techniques, namely by (1) watching the Indonesian Master Chef 2020 show again, (2) writing errors in the Master Chef Indonesia 2020 show, (3 ) classifying language errors in Master Chef participants in phonology, morphology, and syntax. The content analysis technique is used to describe the language errors of the participants of the Indonesian Master Chef. Based on the data found, there are several language errors that have been classified, namely language errors (interference) and language errors in the field of linguistics (phonology, morphology, and syntax).

AbstrakNaskah Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj merupakan salah satu cerminan kebudayaan masyarakat Jawa pada masa lampau yang berisi nilai-nilai sebagai sumber kedamaian dalam bermasyarakat. Pengkajian terhadap naskah tersebut dianggap penting, mengingat adanya krisis moral di kalangan siswa-siswi di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai moral Jawa dalam naskah Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj dan relevansi nilai-nilai tersebut dalam pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis konten dengan pendekatan hermeneutik. Sumber data penelitian adalah naskah Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj yang berisi 25 teks, tetapi hanya 8 teks yang dapat mewakili nilai-nilai moral Jawa dalam naskah. Adapun pengesahan data dengan cara validitas semantik dan reliabilitas intrarater. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya relevansi nilai-nilai moral dalam naskah dengan nilai pendidikan budaya dan karakter bangsa. Nilai moral dalam naskah berupa nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kerukunan, keadilan, dan hati nurani. Nilai-nilai tersebut relevan dengan nilai pendidikan budaya dan karakter bangsa, yaitu pada nilai jujur, tanggung jawab, toleransi dan cinta damai, demokratis, dan peduli sosial. Dengan demikian, nilai-nilai moral dalam naskah Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj dapat diterapkan sebagai acuan atau contoh pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Kata kunci: naskah kuno, nilai moral Jawa, pendidikan, Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj AbstractThe Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript is one of the manifestation of Javanese culture in the past which consists of many values as the peace and society sources. The study of this manuscript is vwry significant. It is caused by the moral crisis happenedto the students in the school. The aim of this study is to unravel Javanese moral values in Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript and the relevance of these values in character education at school. The research method used was content analysis technique with hermeneutic approach. The data source in this study is Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript, which originally contains 25 texts, but only 8 texts represent Javanese moral values. The data validation was done by applying semantic validity and intra-rater reliability. In brief, the result shows that there is relevance of moral values in Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript with the values of cultural education and national character. The moral values in Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript comprise honesty, responsibility, harmony, justice, and conscience. Moreover, these values are relevant to the values of cultural education and national character; they are the values of honesty, responsibility, tolerance and love for peace, democratic, and social care. Therefore, the moral values in Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj manuscript can be applied as references or examples of character education at school.  Keywords: ancient script, Javanese moral value, education, Tashrihah Al-Muhtaaj

This study aims to describe the types of illocutionary speech and the value of character education in the speech on the video podcast of Deddy Corbuzier with Syekh Ali Jaber. This type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Sources of research data are utterances spoken by Deddy Corbuzier, Syekh Ali Jaber, and Gus Mifta in Deddy Corbuzier's Podcast video with Syekh Ali Jaber on Deddy Corbuzier youtube channel. The research data is in the form of sentences that reflect illocutionary speech acts and the value of character education. The data collection technique is done by using observation technique. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model, which includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed: (1) types of illocutionary speech acts include assertive, directive, commissive, and expressive speech acts. (2) The value of character education includes the character of social care, religion, honesty, tolerance, love for the country, creativity, democracy, and love peace. Based on the findings, the dominant character education value in the speech activity is the value of religious character. This can happen, because it is influenced by the background of the speaker and the context of the speech.

This article analyzes the function of imperative sentences contained in the "The Captain" movie by applying Zhang's theory of imperative sentence function. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research methods. The data source in this research is the 2019 China movie“The Captain” (中国机长 Zhōngguó Jīzhǎng). The data are imperative words and sentences in the movie. The data collection technique used was the observation and note technique according to Mahsun, then used the data analysis technique of Miles and Huberman. Researchers found 281 imperative sentences in "The Captain" movie and analyzes the imperative function. The most widely used imperative function is the commanding function, which is 80 sentences. Meanwhile, the least function used was threatening function only 1 sentence. The commanding function is more dominant than other functions and found in the conversations between officers to passengers, flight attendants to passengers, communication between officers and others. The commanding function is also mostly found in the officer’s conversations, especially when they were facing an emergency situation. Meanwhile, the words used by the officers, flight attendants and the captain wereshowing respect and courtesy. So that the threathening function was less found in this movie. There are no requesting and begging functions because this movie tells about the incident of the Sichuan flight 8633, including the service of the aircraft officers and the confidence of the officers in facing the emergency situation at that time.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur wawacan Mahabarata dan nilai etnopedagogik yang terdapat di dalamnya. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku Wawacan Mahabarata karya R. Memed Sastrahadiprawira dkk. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik studi pustaka. Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan teknik analisis unsur langsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa struktur formal Wawacan Mahabarata meliputi guru gatra, guru wilangan, guru lagu, watak pupuh, dan sasmita pupuh. Struktur naratif Wawacan Mahabarata memiliki tema sosial, ada 162 tokoh, latar cerita (tempat, waktu, suasana), dan alur maju. Nilai etnopedagogik dalam cerita ini tergambar dari moral kemanusiaan, yakni moral manusia terhadap Tuhan, moral manusia kepada diri pribadi, moral manusia kepada manusia lain, moral manusia kepada alam, moral manusia kepada waktu, dan moral manusia dalam mencapai kepuasan lahir batin.ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the structure of Wawacan Mahabharata and its ethnopedagogic values. The data source of this study data is the book Wawacan Mahabharata of R. Memed Sastrahadiprawira et al. This study used descriptive method. Data collected through literature study techniques. The collected data is processed by direct element analysis technique. Based on the research results, it is found that the formal structure of Wawacan Mahabharata includes guru gatra, guru wilangan, guru lagu, watak pupuh, and sasmita pupuh. The narrative structure of Wawacan Mahabharata has a social theme. There are 162 characters, story background (place, time, atmosphere), and forward sequel. The ethnopedagogic value in this story is depicted from the moral of humanity, the moral of human to God, the moral of human to themself, the moral of human to other human beings, the moral of human to nature, the moral of human to time, and the moral of human in achieving physical and mental satisfaction.

<p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p class="StyleAuthorBold">Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi penerapan pendidikan karakter akhlak mulia sebagai upaya pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa jurusan Teknik Mesin SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya Kabupaten Agam Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Pemilihan subjek penelitian didasari kolaborasi penerapan program penanaman nilai rohani yang dilakukan ketua jurusan. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa program pelaksanaan salat Zuhur berjemaah disambut positif oleh siswa; siswa telah patuh terhadap peraturan yang ada di sekolah; siswa lebih mementingkan perintah orang tua walaupun sedang asyik bermain dengan temannya; siswa memiliki respek terhadap lingkungan masyarakat; dan siswa memiliki jiwa cinta alam dan berbudaya menjaga lingkungan.</p><p class="StyleAuthorBold"> </p><p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p class="StyleAuthorBold"><em>The research aimed to obtain information on the application of moral character education as an effort to build student character. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were students majoring in Mechanical Engineering at </em>SMK Negeri 1<em> Tanjung Raya Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province. The selection of research subjects was based on collaborative implementation of the spiritual value cultivation program carried out by the head of the department. The data collection technique was carried out by observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of the research revealed that the </em>Zuhur<em> prayer program in congregation was positively welcomed by the students; students have obeyed the rules in school; students are more concerned with parental orders even though they are enjoying playing with their friends; students have respect for the community environment; and students have a spirit of love for nature and a culture of protecting the environment.</em></p>

The purpose of this study is  describing the types of implicatures in reporting the Covid-19 discourse at the Local News Port of Wajo Regency on  online basis (in the network). Based on the type of data, this research is qualitative. This study uses pragmatic studies, which focus on the aspects of implicature. This research data source from the local news portal in Wajo Regency based online, such as  Berita Wajo, Inilai Celebs, and Pena Rakyat. therefor the  data were set in the form of words, sentences, statements, and discourse. The research data collection technique uses a careful and intensive reading technique to do the reading activity in earnest while looking closely at and looking for data that fits the focus of the research. Then, the collected data   processed through the some stages suc as collection, selection, and organizing. The data analysis technique used in this research is pragmasemantic interpretation- techniques with descriptive presentation methods. This study suggests three types of implicatures: satire, the protest implicature, and the appeal implicatureTujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan jenis implikatur dalam pemberitaan wacana Covid-19 pada Porta Berita Lokal Kabupaten Wajo berbasis daring (dalam jaringan). Berdasarkan jenis datanya, penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian pragmatik yang berfokus pada aspek implikatur. Sumber data penelitian ini berasal dari portal berita lokal di Kabupaten Wajo berbasis daring, yaitu Berita Wajo, Inilah Celebes, dan Pena Rakyat. Adapun data-data penelitian ini berupa kata-kata, kalimat, pernyataan, dan wacana. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan teknik baca-cermat dan intensif dengan membaca secara sungguh-sungguh sambil mencermati dan mencari data-data yang sesuai fokus penelitian. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya diolah melalui tahap koleksi, seleksi, dan organisasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah teknik interpretasi pragmasemantik (pragmasemantica interpretative), pragmatik menggunakan interpreasi pemaknaan terhadap makna dari tuturan. Adapun metode penyajian terhadap hasil analisis menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini mengemukakan tiga jenis implikatur yakni implikatur sindiran, implikatur protes, dan implikatur imbauan.
