Tindak Tutur Ekspresif dalam Novel Bumi Manusia karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer

This study aims to describe the types of expressive speech acts and strategy used in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The data contained in this study are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that refer to expressive speech acts contained in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The data source of this research is the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The research instrument is the researcher himself with a note taking tool to record things that indicate expessive speech acts found in the novel . Data collection techniques were carried out in several stages including reading and understanding the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer; (2) identifying data containing expressive speech acts in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer; and (3) inventorizing data containing expressive speech acts in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The data validation technique used in this study is a detailed description technique. The data analysis technique is done by classifying the data, analyzing the data, and concluding the results of the research. The research results found, namely (1) types of expressive speech acts in the novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer in the from of saying thanks, saying congratulations, apologizing, praising, accusing, exressing anger, expressing pleasure, feeling embarrased, and feeling surprised; (2) the storytelling strategy used by the characters Minke, Annalies, dan Nyai Ontosoroh is in the form of a stratedy without the nonsense, a strategy of a speaking with pleasantries of positive courtesy, a strategy of speaking with small talk of negative politeness, vague speech strategies, and strategies that speak silently

Character education is an effort to reinforce character values to create Indonesia's golden generation. This study aimed to describe and explain the educational value of goodness and responsibility character in the novel of Guru Aini. The data in this study are data on the values of character education in the form of dialogue quotes, sentences, and paragraphs in novels. The data source is the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. The data collection technique which is used is documentation techniques with reading, recording, and assessment activities. The validation technique used theory triangulation and data triangulation. The data analysis technique used an interactive model analysis technique which includes three components, namely: (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) drawing conclusions. The results showed that the novel contains the educational value of good character related to giving, such as giving appreciation, forgiveness, knowledge, and goods. Meanwhile, the educational value of the responsibility character reflected that a more responsible attitude as a teacher and a student. The novel of Guru Aini can be used as a media for giving the values of character education.

Character education is needed to build quality human resources. This study aims to describe and explain the values of character education through problematic characters in the novel Orang-Orang Biasa. The data in this study are data on the values of character education in the form of dialogue quotes, sentences, and paragraphs in novels. The data source is Andrea Hirata's novel Orang-Orang Biasa. The data collection technique uses documentation techniques with reading, recording, and assessment activities. The validation technique used is the theory triangulation technique and data triangulation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model analysis technique which includes three components, namely: (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) drawing conclusions. The results showed that the novel contained eight values of character education, namely integrity, preseverance, kindness, responsibility, self-discipline, courage, good judgment, and respect. This value is represented by eight different figures. Novels of Orang-Orang Biasa can be used as a medium to add values to character education through literary learning. ABSTRACTThe aim of the study was to reveal the social criticism depicted in Djenar's Novel Nayla's works. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that is research by solving a problem that exists in the object. This study used a Socioligi approach to literary sociology theory. The data source in this study was Nayla's novel by Djenar Maesa Ayu. The research data is in the form of words and display of narrator sentences and story figures and story actions. Data collection is done by reading, understanding and analyzing the novel. The data analysis is done by interpreting the data with the theory used in the research. The data validation technique in this study has discussions with lecturers to obtain correct and true information. The results of this study were the social criticism of poverty, social criticism of crime, social criticism of family disorganization, social homosexual criticism, and social and environmental unrest. The conclusion of the results and the discussion that, the research is more to the social problems found in the novel. Kata kunci: kritik sosial, novel Nayla, Djenar Maesa Ayu.

This research is motivated by the analysis extrinsic elements novel Sang Pemimpi. This study aimed to describe the social values, cultural values, moral values, and religious values in the novel Sang Pemimpi. The research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The data in this study is a form of social values, cultural values, religius values and moral on Sang Pemimpi novel by Andrea Hirata. Data source is Sang Pemimpi novel by Andrea Hirata. Data collection techniques in this study are: (1) to read and understand the Novel Sang Pemimpi by Andrea Hirata, and (2) give coding by underlining sentences containing social values, cultural values and political values in the note of the novel Sang Pemimpi by Andrea Hirata all data regarding speech acts in a novel study. While the steps in analyzing data are: (1) read data that has been recorded, (2) classify or record data for the purpose for researchers based on the novel Sang Pemimpi by Andrea Hirata, (3) interpreting or interpretation of data for the purpose of research is to analyze the novel Sang Pemimpi by Andrea Hirata, and (4) make the conclusion of the study. The results of this study stated that extrinsic elements contained in Sang Pemimpi novel by Andrea Hirata is the value of cultural education, where cultural rights set forth in the novel The Dreamer ie when they are a teenager then it started to work for money. Social educational value, namely the attitude of helping each other like Arai and Mak Cik, and as pastor and Jimbron. the value of religious education that is visible on the pastor and Jimbron, although Jimbron raised by a pastor, but the pastor did not impose his religion on Jimbron. moral and political education value seen in a leader who has no morals and honesty. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh analisis unsur ekstrinsik novel Sang Pemimpi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai sosial, nilai budaya, nilai politik, nilai moral, dan nilai religius dalam novel Sang Pemimpi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data dalampenelitian iniadalah bentuk nilai sosial, nilai budaya, nilai realigi dan moral dalam novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata. Sumber datanya adalah novelSang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) membaca dan memahami Novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata, dan (2) memberi pengkodean dengan menggarisbawahi kalimat-kalimat yang mengandung nilai sosial, nilai budaya, dan nilai politik dalam Mencatat Novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata semua data mengenai tindak tutur dalam novel yang diteliti. Sedangkan langkah-langkah dalam menganalisis datanya adalah: (1) membaca data yang sudah dicatat, (2) mengklasifikasikan atau mencatat data sesuai tujuan peneliti berdasarkan novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata, (3) menginterprestasikan atau penafsiran data dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu menganalisis novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata, dan (4) membuat simpulan penelitian.Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa unsur ekstrinsik yang dapat dalam novel Sang Pemimpi karya Andrea Hirata adalah nilai pendidikan budaya, di mana budaya yang tercantum dalam novel Sang Pemimpi yaitu apabila sudah beranjak remaja maka sudah mulai bekerja untuk mencari uang. nilai pendidikan sosial, yaitu adanya sikap saling tolong menolong seperti Arai dan Mak Cik, dan seperti pendeta dan Jimbron. nilai pendidikan religius yaitu terlihat pada pendeta dan Jimbron, walaupun Jimbron diasuh oleh seorang Pendeta, tetapi pendeta tersebut tidak memaksakan agamanya pada Jimbron. nilai pendidikan moral dan politik terlihat pada seorang pemimpin yang tidak mempunyai moral dan kejujuran.

Verbal Violence in the Kiko Cartoon Film. This research aims to describe theverbal violence in the forms of the directive, and expressive speech acts in the Kikocartoon. This was qualititative research. The data were the words or sentencesused in the Kiko cartoon. The data source of research was the cartoon film of Kiko.Data were collected using the note-taking technique. The research instrument usedwere laptop and data cards. Laptop and data cards are used as a video player andas a tool to listen and understand the utterances in the Kiko cartoon. Furthermore,the data collected were analyzed based on verbal violence in the forms of thedirective, and expressive speech acts. The additional instrument was the data cardsby which the researcher collected data on the types off speech acts and groupedthem according to the directive and expressive speech acts and grouped themaccording to the directive and expressive speech acts. The results of the researchindicated that 117 speech acts including 33 types of rebuked violence, 55 types ofharassment, two types of accusations, 20 types of coercion, and seven types ofintimidation. b) 56 directive speech acts consisting of 29 commandment speechacts, 2 threat, seven rejection seepch acts, 13 opposing speech acts, five denialspeech acts. c) 61 expressive speech acts consisting of 11 speech acts forexpressing displeasure, 17 speech acts for criticizing, 15 speech acts for swearing,15 speech acts for insulting, and there speech acts for exspressing satire.Key words:verbal violence, Kiko cartoon film

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pengaruh tahta tertinggi dan perlawanan kaum subaltern pada novel Arok Dedes karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer dengan menggunakan teori postkolonialisme Gayatri Spivak. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data novel Arok Dedes yang berkisah tentang kudeta di Tanah Jawa. Data penelitian ini adalah kata, kalimat, paragraf, yang terdapat dalam novel Arok Dedes karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer dengan menggunakan teori poskolonial Ggayatri Spivak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi atau pustaka. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisia deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian adalah pengaruh tahta tertinggi dan perlawanan kaum subaltern pada novel Arok Dedes karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer.Kata kunci: Subaltern, poskolonial, pengaruh tahta, perlawananABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to describe the influence of the highest throne and the resistance of the subalterns on the novel Arok Dedes by Pramoedya Ananta Toer by using the postcolonialism theory of Gayatri Spivak. This research data is words, sentences, paragraphs, contained in Arok Dedes novel by Pramoedya Anan ta Toer by using postcolonial Ggayatri Spivak theory. Data collection techniques in this study used the method of documentation or literature . The data analysis technique of this study used descriptive analysis techniques. This research is conducted based on two purposes; they are to identify the types of expressive speech act found in the statuses of the Facebook users, and to explain the modes of expressive utterance used in the statuses. Therefore, the data source is the social network that is Facebook and the data are the statuses of the Facebook users. The data are collected by using observational method, followed by non-participant observational technique and taking-note technique. The data analysis is based on pragmatic identity method proposed by Sudaryanto (2015) which is also supported by the theory of the types of expressive speech act by Ronan (2015), and theory about the modes of utterance from Alwi, et al (2000). The analysis result shows that there are fourteen types of expressive speech act in the statuses. They are the expression of agreement, disagreement, apology, gratitude, sorrow (sadness), exclamation (complaint), volition (hope), anger, disappointment, encouragement, satire, annoyance, pride, and congratulation. Meanwhile, the modes of expressive speech act that are used consist of declarative mode, interrogative mode, and exclamative mode. The importance of this research is to reveal or show that there is something else the Facebook users want to say behind their statuses. Sometimes, they do not really state what they mean in their statuses. They use indirect way and there lies the use of expressive speech act which can be stated in different way.

This research uses the object of the novel "The Educator" by Aguk Irawan MN. This novel tells the hegemony of intellectual figures and social classes who influence by instilling their ideology in certain groups by inviting goodness. The purpose of this research is to find and describe the hegemony of teachers to students in the novel "The Educator" by Aguk Irawan MN. In this study using qualitative methods by collecting data library and document techniques. The data source in this study was obtained from the novel "The Educator" by Aguk Irawan MN, published by Qalam Nusantara. Data analysis techniques in this study used a hermeniotic reader analysis technique, namely the stages of reading, marking, coding, interpretation and presentation of conclusions. The results of this study discuss the hegemony of Martokan as a teacher to his students. Martokan hegemony his students by giving advice to be a good person, Martokan also hegemony through the material described to tell the history of Sunan Drajat and Sunan Duwur, so that it will make his students enthusiastic in learning the Koran.

This study aims to describe the forms of expressive speech act uttered by adults in TPI in Pesisir Selatan Regency, Sumatera Barat. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The data are any utterances which contain expressive speech acts of adult in TPI Pesisir Selatan. The analysis is done by using speech acts theory proposed by Searle. Data source of this research is Adult in TPI. In this research, the researcher used observational method because the data are in the form of spoken language that obtained in a Adult in TPI. Thus this research used notetaking technique in collecting expressive speech act. The research findings show that there are ten kinds of expressive speech act in adults in TPI, namely apology, thanks, sympathy, attitudes, expressing greeting, wishing, expressing joy, expressing pain, expressing like, and expressing dislikes.

This study examines the religious values contained in the novel Mengejar Halalnya Syabila by Noor Ruhaimin. The purpose of this study is to: (1) describe aqidah, (2) describe worship, and (3) describe morals in the novel Mengejar Halalnya Syabila by Noor Ruhaimin.
