Konsep Etika Epikuros dan Problem Media Sosial

In the last few decades, one of the ethical problems that has taken a lot of public attention is the hoax problem on social media. Social media, which was originally created as a medium to facilitate the delivery of messages and information, is actually being misused to spread false news which eventually breeds hatred and animosity. One philosopher who is famous for his thoughts on ethical concepts, namely Epicurean. This article will discuss how the Epikuros ethical concept and its relevance to social media problems. This paper is classified in library research and uses the hermeneutical descriptive method. The typology of Epicurean thought belongs to the ethical theory of hedonism, Epicurean in its ethical thought establishes pleasure or pleasure (hedone) as the highest ideal in human life. The intended enjoyment is not only from the material aspect, but the most important thing is the enjoyment of the soul which is referred to as ataraxia. To achieve ataraxia that is by trying to avoid suffering and anxiety. According to Epicureans, in order to avoid suffering and anxiety, humans must have the attitude of phronesis or prudence, which is interpreted as an attitude of vigilance. When connected with social media problems, this attitude of vigilance is very relevant and important to be owned by every individual as a user of social media, so as not to become part of the chain of hoax distribution.

In Islamic teachings, the issue of breastfeeding is a very important issue to pay attention to, because it can have an impact on the issue of the prohibition of marriage and lineage. The purpose of this study is to dig deeper into the urgency of breastfeeding donors and their implications based on the practice of breastfeeding donors in Indonesia, and a review of the mashlahah of these breast milk donors. This type of research is library research, with analytical descriptive method. This research uses mashlahah theory with ushul fiqh approach. As a result, breast milk donation in Indonesia can be done by fulfilling several conditions: first, the request of the biological mother or the baby’s family. Second, the identity, religion, and address of the breast milk donor are clearly known by the mother or family of the baby receiving the donor. Third, the approval of the breast milk donor by knowing the identity of the donor recipient baby. Fourth, the breast milk donor is in good health and has no medical indication. Fifth, breast milk is not traded. Meanwhile, based on Ijtihâd istishlâhî, breast milk donation which aims to help babies who do not get breast milk from their biological mothers for certain reasons, is a humanitarian aid to save human life. Therefore, it is legally permissible to donate breast milk and can be categorized as mashlahah dharuriyat if the mother of the baby is sick and the baby is premature or sick. Including mashlahah hajiyat if the baby’s mother dies, or her whereabouts are not known.

In this paper, we will discuss the ethical problems generated by Islam as was directly exemplified by the pioneer, enlightener and role model of all followers, namely the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The source of ethics in Islam (Islamic ethics) is the al-Qur'an and the Sunnah, both of which are always a measure of the merits of the actions committed by the Muslims. These two sources are a guide for human life to achieve happiness in this world and in the hereafter. The Prophet's behavior is the most factual interpretation of the Koran. In fact, in many narrations it is emphasized that the Prophet did not act / behave but because of the guidance of revelation, and the Prophet's morals were al-Qur'an. That is why in Islamic scholarship, including Islamic ethics, it does not give up its premises from the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW. In Islam, the Quran and Sunnah will teach adherents from all sides, be it social, religious, cultural and so on. So in this paper we will discuss the sources of ethics in Islam (Islamic Ethics). The method of this research is library research (library research), namely research that uses literature in the form of books, notes and reports on the results of previous research which will later become an analysis tool regarding ethics in Islam. The conclusion of this paper is that the source of ethics in Islam is al-Quran and as-Assunah, which will be the life guide for Muslims and non-Muslims to achieve true happiness, which the Prophet had exemplified directly from the above source.

Introduction The act of caring in nursing requires previous deliberation and decision, however this perception only arises when an ethical problem emerges. Objective: Identify ethical problems of nurses action in the area of beginning of human life Method: Exploratory and descriptive method, with a qualitative approach. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data, who were submitted to content analysis. The sample was constituted by 26 nurses. Results 18 categories of problem areas and 56 ethical problems in early human life were identified. The results obtained are very diverse, including areas such as termination of pregnancy, informed consent or maintaining privacy. However, other problem areas also emerge and numerous new subcategories/ethical problems, including: dealing with miscarriage, extreme situations, minors’ pregnancy, serious malformations detected at birth, consent regarding care during childbirth, Non- identification of a ethical problem, nurse social recognition and non-involvement of the person in labour. Conclusion Nurses face different ethical problems that impact their lives. We intend to contribute in helping to make decisions in this field, which the outset is of hope and joy, but which hides, behind this evidence, countless situations of suffering for everyone involved. The identification of ethical problems in this field, it is the first step to reflect about theme and helping decision-making for nurses that are taking care in this area of beginning of human life, when confronted whit the same type of ethical problems.

Da'wah bilhikmah is a message that is able to guide people in tracing the traces of the glory of life and high civilization, so that humans become dignified (akramal akramin). The description of the da'wah bilhikmah in the Qur’an can be carried out by preachers / preachers who have wisdom, namely those who are called ulil ilmi and ulil albab who are always devoted (reflecting), tafakkur (deep thinking), polite in attitude ( hilm), fair in deciding and progressive in truth (I'tiba). In this research, the writer tries to get library material, namely collecting, reading and reviewing sources, getting library research in the form of books or the realities of everyday life of the people related to the issues discussed. The method of discussion in this research are: Synthesis Analysis Method, namely through rational and abstract logical approaches to the objective of inductive and deductive thinking and scientific analysis. Descriptive method, namely by describing the ongoing and developing social reality which is then associated with the issue of da'wah and its scope. In writing this journal, sociology theory states that humans develop religion (religion) because of the vibrations of the soul and religious emotions that arise due to the influence of social feelings. ABSTRACTThis paper aims to identify and analyze Al-Quran literature on the development and problems of the Covid-19 outbreak through the study of Maudu'i Tafsir which is viewed from the substance of Thaun as disease transmission in Islam. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method by trying to trace various works and writings related to the focus of the study, either directly or indirectly. The works are read carefully and then analyzed and interpreted qualitatively according to the pre-determined study problems. This research is a library research. The results of this paper indicate that viruses, bacteria, germs or similar diseases are created by Allah which has the analogy of being the smallest animal of a mosquito (Fauqo Ba'udhah) and has a contagious and deadly impact. Infectious diseases such as Covid-19 have properties that can be controlled so that they do not fall into damage and destruction (wa la tulqu bi aidikum ila at-tahlukah) the values of human life on earth.Keywords: Pandemic, Covid-19, Thaun, Al-Quran

AbstractThe development of sophisticated social media can post content in the form of text, video, sound and images freely which can be disseminated anywhere and anytime with the help of the internet network. Not infrequently social media users abuse social media as a means to vent their emotions, spread false news, bring down others, and even spread hatred to other people or groups. Not a few people who feel disadvantaged as a result of this hate speech. The author's purpose in raising this phenomenon is to find out how hate speech (hate speech) is in society according to theological studies. Methodologically, this study uses a qualitative research type with a library research approach. The factors that cause the perpetrators to do hate speech (hate speech), namely, factors from within the individual (internal) including the psychological and psychological condition of the individual and factors from outside the individual, namely environmental factors, factors of lack of social control, factors of community interest, factors of ignorance community, as well as facilities, facilities and technological and psychological or psychological progress of the actors, namely high emotional power, besides the factors of facilities, facilities and technological progress are also very influential because of the availability of facilities and facilities that are easily available and increasingly sophisticated technological advancements making it easier for each social media users access all information without limits. Efforts to overcome the occurrence of hate speech (hate speech) crime in social media that consists of penal and non-penal efforts. Where penalties consist of imposing sanctions on perpetrators by imprisonment in accordance with what has been stipulated in the ITE Law to provide a deterrent effect. While the non-penal effort is to provide counseling or outreach to the general public regarding information on the impact of electronic media if not used wisely, the ethics of using social media by providing legal knowledge about the ITE Law. Social media is one of the information media that is currently widely used by several companies and personally to convey information, with the presence of social media companies no longer need to spread offers through print media, they can use information technology tools in this case social media to submit offers the products they sell to users globally through social media. This social media marketing technique is the process of reaching visits by internet users to certain sites or public attention through social media sites. Marketing activities using social media are usually centered on the efforts of a company to create content that attracts attention, thus encouraging readers to share the content through their social media networks. The application of the QMS method is certainly not only submitted through search engine webmasters, but also on a website keywords must be applied that relate to the contents of the website content, because with the keyword it will automatically attract visitors to the university website based on keyword phrases that they type in the search engine. With Search Media Marketing Technique (SMM) is one of the techniques that must be applied in conducting sales promotions, especially in car dealers in Bandung, it is considered important because each product requires price, feature and convenience socialization through social media so that sales traffic can increase. Each dealer should be able to apply the techniques of Social Media Marketing (SMM) well so that car sales can reach the expected target and provide profits for sales as car sellers in the field.

Kedudukan dan fungsi bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi manusia mencakup seluruh bidang kehidupan termasuk ilmu pengetahuan antara lain terkait sejarah peradaban manusia; bagaimana manusia mempertahankan hidupnya, bagaimana manusia memperlakukan alam, bagaimana alam menyediakan segala kebutuhan manusia. Apa yang dilakukan manusia saat ini, saat lampau, dan apa yang dilakukan manusia jauh di masa prasejarah, bagaimana kondisi alam di masa-masa tersebut, apa perubahan dan perkembangannya, dapat didokumentasikan melalui bahasa, divisualisasikan kembali, lalu dipajang sebagai salah satu upaya konversai dan preservasi dalam satu institusi yang disebut museum. Penelitian ini membahas kedudukan dan fungsi bahasa dalam permuseuman. Bagaimana kedudukan dan fungsi bahasa dalam permuseuman baik dalam informasi yang disampaikan oleh pemandu wisata museumnya maupun yang terpajang menyertai benda-benda dan gambar-gambar merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah gabungan antara metode lapangan dan metode literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kedudukan bahasa Indonesia berada pada urutan pertama setelah Bahasa Inggris dan keberadaan kedua bahasa dalam permuseuman ini melibatkan dua fungsi utama bahasa, yakni fungsi komunikatif dan fungsi informatif.The existence and function of language as a medium of communication covers all fields of human life including knowledge, one of them is the history of human civilization; how humans survived, how human utilized nature for their lives, and how nature provides all the necessities for humans. What humans have been doing now, what they have done in the past and far before that in the pre-history time, how the conditions of the nature at those times were and what changes as well as progresses occurred are documented using language, then re-visualized, displayed as one of conservation and preservation acts in an institution called museum. This research discusess the existence and function of language in museums. How important the existence of a language in museums and what language functions used in museums both in informations given by the museum guides and on the displays accompanying objects and pictures are the aims of this research. The methods used are the combination between field research and library research. The results show that generally the existence of Indonesian language plays more important role than English and both languages have two main functions; communicative function and informative function.

Skills and competencies are highly regarded in todays global market. Different agencies specifically those seeking for technologists, technicians, and engineers, have stressed out that skills and competencies as major components for individual workers. This aimed to determine the relevance and appropriateness of acquired skills and competencies by industrial technology graduates, and determine the extent of use of skills and competencies in the current employment. Review of related literatures and studies have been considered in the realization, understanding, analysis, and interpretation of this research exploration. A descriptive method of research was used with 78 graduates from 2015-2016 and 117 graduates from 2016-2017, who participated in the study survey process. The BatStateU Standardized Questionnaire was used to gather data. A brief interview and talk during the visit of alumni in the university was also considered, as well as the other means of social media like email, facebook, messenger, and text messaging. Results show that skills and competecnices acquired by industrial technology graduates are all relevant and appropriate. The study also found that there is some to great extent use of acquired skills and competencies to their current employment. The study implies that the acquired skills and competencies from the university significantly provided the graduates the opportunities ins the national and global markets and industries.

Problematika lingkungan hidup hingga saat ini kian menunjukkan tingkat yang mengkhawatirkan. Berbagai fakta kerusakan lingkungan yang terjadi di Bumi telah menjadikan penghuninya terusik. Tulisan ini bercorak library research dan berupaya menelisik kontribusi Islam dalam menyelesaikan masalah ini. Hasilnya, Islam member perhatian besar pada berbagai problematika kehidupan manusia, termasuk terhadap lingkungan hidup. Rumusan ini tentu berbeda dengan pandangan ilmuwan modernis Barat yang cenderung menggunakan pendekatan teknis saja, tanpa melihat aspek-aspek lain. Padahal, menggunakan pendekatan teknis semata tidak mencukupi, namun juga membutuhkan pendekatan lain, di antaranya yang bersifat transendental dan profan.Problems of the environment now show an alarming rate. Various facts environmental destruction on Earth has made its inhabitants disturbed. This paper seeks patterned library research and browse for Islamic contribution in solving this problem. As a result, Islam gives a great attention to the various problems of human life, including the environment. This formulation is different from Western modernist views of scientists who tend to use a technical approach only, without looking at other aspects. In fact, using a technical approach alone is not sufficient, but it also requires other approaches, including the transcendent and profane.
