The low students’ achievement, lack of variety of teaching methods on Basic Chemistry, lack of students’ engagement on teaching and learning process, misconception of Chemistry is difficult subject, and the changes of curriculum into KKNI on Industrial Revolution 4.0 that demand for the students are on the level 6 on the output based on the government legislation are the problems that need to be done on this study. This study aimed to find out the students’ achievement and response during the learning process on Basic Chemistry-Solubility and Solubility Product-class by using SETS approach based on KKNI. This is a quasi experiemental study through the distance learning. The technique of collecting the data was documentation and research instruments that consist of course outlines (RPS), students’ activity (observation sheet), and students’ work sheets that describe the activity with SETS method, pretest and post test, and the student’s questionnaire. The results showed that the implementation of SETS approach affects the students achievement thus there is enhancement on students achievement for the control and experimental class for 51.92% and the students response on the methods are 88%. The Concluded that there is an effect of Using SETS to improve student achievement and increasing student responses to learning.

Recently, game-based multimedia development has been increasing rapidly. Game-based multimedia is not only used for entertaining but also for teaching and learning process. Meanwhile, for the majority of elementary school students, numeracy learning is still considered as a difficult subject to be learned and has not attracted students’ interest because it still uses vertical methods. The objective of this research is to examine the implementation of game-based multimedia in learning horizontal numeracy. In this game-based multimedia, horizontal numeracy material is presented in the form of a game. Horizontal numeracy material begins with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Game-based multimedia is implemented to 20 students in grade 3 elementary schools in Bandung, Indonesia. Subsequently, the way students learn the materials and their learning outcomes are explored after using this multimedia. The results show that the students can learn horizontal numeracy excitingly; moreover, they can easily understand the concept of horizontal numeracy quickly. It is indicated by by the increasing of average post-test value.

The spread of the Corona virus has had a significant impact on the world of education. The policy taken by many countries, including Indonesia, is to close all educational activities. This makes the government and related institutions have to present an alternative learning process. Many factors affect student learning outcomes coupled with changes in learning conditions due to the Corona virus (Covid-19) outbreak. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the impacts and constraints of the Covid-19 outbreak on teaching and learning activities, especially in Geography subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Sikur. Data collection was carried out using the pretest - posttest method of students' abilities before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out by quantitative methods using paired sample t-test to test the difference in the effect of the two treatments on the interrelated sample groups. The results of the analysis indicate that there is a difference in the average Geography learning outcomes of 11th grade of social science students before and after the outbreak of the corona virus. Information was obtained that the average value of student learning outcomes during the face-to-face learning process was 86.27, better than the average value when the learning process was carried out online which was 75.73. Today, during the ‘fourth industrial revolution’ which is led by the Internet and the digital ecosystem it creates, schools are expected to achieve the development of not only the functional skills of literacy and numeracy but also of general knowledge. The apparent inadequacy of the standardized education system to respond to the needs and interests of 21st-century students urges researchers to adopt new forms of teaching as meaningful and high-quality teaching requires a more active use of innovative educational methods and tools. With the rapid development of IT globally, there is a tendency to utilize the capabilities of e-learning as a mode of distance learning since itcan function both independently of and in conjunction with conventional teaching. The varied applications of Web 2.0 tools create new possibilities in the educational sector. It provides the ability to develop innovative educational methods that transform students from passive recipients of information to knowledge creators through an active involvement in the learning process often within a modern interactive environment. This study presents the results of the implementation of a teaching intervention, with the use of a flexible and student-centered web system developed and used as complementary to the ‘Research Project’ course during the first term of the 2015-2016 school year. The ultimate goal of this effort was to highlight and consequently incorporate the use of a digital platform for student conferences which we implemented in schools as a means to research, learning, and skill development. The students had the opportunity to participate in a digital community which employed distance learning tools for communication, cooperation, and learning during a digital conference in which they had leading roles as writers and reviewers. The initial results of the pilot study indicated that the use of the digital platform increased the interest of students, supported the development of various skills and contributed to the overall improvement of the teaching and learning process.

The question of the research was “Is there an effect of learning model multimedia-based toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency? The objective of the research was to find out the data whether the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. The significant of the research was expected the model can be used as reference learning model to improve the students’ English ablility. The design of the research was pre-experimental design. The research was conducted at the first-class students of Senior High School 1 Wundulako in Kolaka District. The data were collected by using English test which given at the pre-test and the post-test. In analysed the students’ test result, which the mean score of pre-test was 33,8806 and the mean score of post-test was 69,4058, while the t-table 18,55>2,042 t-test. Its mean that the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility. Refering to the findings and discussions of the research, it can be concluded that the learning model multimedia-based has an effect toward the students’ English ablility at senior high school of Kolaka Regency. It was based on the mean score in pre-test and post-test.Based on the conclusion of the research, the researcher suggests to the teacher, especially English teacher in Kolaka Regency to use learning model multimedia-based in teaching and learning process to improve the students’ English ability.

This research aims to find out whether or not any significant effect of the Dictogloss technique on upgrading students’ competence in writing narrative text. The subjects of this research were all students in class XI MIA 5 of SMAN 4 Kendari which consisted of 34 students, but only 32 students who were participated in the pre-test and post-test. The researcher collected data by given pre-test to know students’ writing competence. The treatment conducted in teaching and learning process by applying Dictogloss technique. The post-test to know students’ writing competence after being taught by applying Dictogloss technique. The data were analyzed by using paired samples t test. The result showed that the use of Dictogloss technique is significantly influenced students’ writing competence which is reflected by the enhanmcement of students mean score from pre-test to post-test. It can be seen from the mean score of post-test is 77,78, while the mean score of pre-test is 53,19. Furthermore, the result of hypothesis testing showed that the value of Sig.(2 tailed) was 0,000 while the significance ρ value is 0,05, means that (H0) is rejected and (H1) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of applying Dictogloss technique on upgrading students’ competence in writing narrative test of SMAN 4 Kendari.

This research aimed find out the effectiveness of using big story book project (BSBP) in teaching reading comprehension and to know the advantages and the disadvantages of using BSBP in teaching reading comprehension. The researcher applied pre-experimental research design and consists of pre-test, treatment and post-test in order to find whether the big story book project (BSBP) effective in teaching reading comprehension. The instruments used in this research were reading test and questionnaire. The result from this research shows that using big story book project (BSBP) in teaching reading comprehension is effective. It is proved by the result that there is significant difference between the result of the students’ mean score in the pre-test and the post-test. In the pre-test, the students’ mean score is (43.79) and in the post-test is (80.37). Furthermore, it is proved by the probability value is smaller than α (0.00 < 0.05). On the other word, BSBP has advantages to the students if applied in teaching and learning process, especially in reading subject.
