Progress in information technology that is so fast is expected to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. In the world of information technology education can help and support the learning process. Especially now all the learning process activities can be done online. Progress in information technology must also be supported by quality human resources. In this case the teacher is very instrumental in the utilization of information technology in the world of education. Because the teacher is one of the education supervisors who will encourage the advancement of the quality of education in Indonesia. But in reality the quality of teachers in Indonesia is inadequate. There are still many teachers who cannot use information technology in learning especially for teachers who are senior or old. As teacher supervisors, they must improve the quality of their performance in using technology. To improve the ability of teachers to use technology, ongoing training is needed to use technology. The role of the head of the school as a supervisor is also needed, namely the principal is obliged to supervise, control, and approach the teacher in terms of the use of technology in the learning process.

<p>Abstract: The Role of LPTK in Creating Syari’ah Based Professional Workforce in Aceh. The Institution of Learning for Educational workforce (LPTKs) plays an important role in the process of producing professionals in their fields. This article studies the extent to which such institutional programs play, especially those mainly associated with the Islamic sya’riah implemented in Aceh region. The writer of this article argues that, in terms of quality, it can be revealed from how far the lecturers are capable of facilitating the students’ learning process and its relevance to teaching materials. Therefore, the author concludes that the quality of learning can be conducted with the intensity of the systemic and synergistic lecturers, students, curriculum and learning materials, media, facilities, and learning systems in producing process and the optimal learning outcomes in accordance with the demands of curriculum.</p><p><br />Kata Kunci: workforce, professional, LPTK, Aceh<br /><br /></p>

Educational progress is determined by how teacher’s way to arrange the learning process that occurs in schools. The quality of learning depends on how the teacher runs the learning, so the goal of education is achieved, the learning process becomes innovative and fun and learners do not feel bored during the learning process takes place. The formation of students’ character becomes the main goal in education, therefore comic is a tool that can help teachers in instilling the values of characters contained in the comic.

ABSTRACT This paper describes how the role of effective communication in speeding up the process of transfer of information in the College Library. There are three issues into the discussion in this paper; (i) effective communication in the process of transfer of information with assertive communication by considering personal rights between librarians and users; (ii) how to create effective communication between librarians with the user by means of the receiver understand the message conveyed, can establish a good relationship between librarians and users, the message shoving on a response desired message recipients; (iii) This paper outlines the third obstacle in conducting effective communication among them is a different background, signals, communication situation, quality of the content of the message, writing skills, speaking skills, the skills of listening, reading skills

This study collates the current state of knowledge regarding the sense of humor attitude in the social interactions among children with special needs, which aims to explore the current state of knowledge and quality of empirical evidence relating to humor among children with special needs. In the study there were involved 78 students of Emerald School of Cinere in South Jakarta. There were more over 20% students in normal condition and students with special needs were 80%. Research had assessed humor in the classroom and humor expression in different groups including those with autism, down syndrome, and other special needs. This study was designed by using the descriptive qualitative method to analyze, describe, and explain the data. The procedure of data collection was done by observation and filled the questionnaire of the Richmond Humor Assessment Instrument (RHAI). The result of the study showed that there were 47, 08% of favorable criteria, and 52, 92% of unfavorable ones. Based on gender, more boys answered favorable criteria compared to girls. Moreover, boys were dare to express their senses of humor than the girls. The girls showed their shynesses to express their sense of humor. The results of the study showed that the children with special needs in Emerald school had less sense of humor. Furthermore, the role of humor in communication development, social facilitation, creativity, and stigma had all received some limited attention among children with special needs in Emerald School, South Jakarta.

In the teaching and learning process of Social Sciences, many problems are carried out by the teacher. One of them is some students still rely on their teacher's activities in learning, so the role of students is still very lacking. Even thought, the teacher always involving students to play an active in learning process. In contrary, students assume that the subject of Social Sciences is very boring. So that this causes a low quality of learning in Social Sciences, especially in  SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. This cases has tickled the writer to take the theme of research on picture and picture cooperative methods to improve the quality of learning and increase the interest and activity of students in teaching and learning activities in Social Sciences.As for the techniques used of data collection is through observation by teachers and collaborators. The research involved two cycles of 42 students. While the data analysis used description with percentage techniques. Furthermore the level of activity of students and teachers is expressed in the category of "very good", "good" or "moderate", while the success of using picture and picture cooperative methods is stated as "successful", "less successful", or "unsuccessful".The results of this reseacrh with picture and picture cooperative methods have been successful, which is showing indicated by an increase in student activity of learning because it has reached the specified criteria is 81% of students are actively involved, while teacher activities reach 86.53%, as well as student learning outcomes with a value of 78.57, where this shows that it is exceeding the KKM value of 72, with a percentage of completeness of 76%, which has exceeded the criteria of 75%.

The strength of a teacher in teaching is heavily influenced by the effective communication practiced by Dikelas-kelas. Learners are so cool with every word and story that the teacher developed. They are as stunted in the strains of beautiful melodies that splash. While this is the teaching of the teacher, the learners have the convenience of capturing it. Effective communication is very important for the learning process, because as a process where the existence of students with diverse cultures, family background and differences of viewpoints and self-stability are still vulnerable will determine The success of communication itself. The success of communication in the teaching and learning process is not only determined by the teachers but also the mental readiness condition in the teaching-learning process, as well as will be supported by environmental conditioning and Management of the school itself. There is a wide range of breakthroughs in improving communication skills for BK teachers, because BK teachers have the duties, responsibilities, and authority in the implementation of tutoring and counseling services for learners. Related to the student's self-development that suits the needs, potential, talents, interests, and personality of students at school/Madrasah.To improve students ' learning performance, BK teachers are required to create a conducive situation and encourage students to learn more optimally both in independent learning and in class learning with enthusiasm. In order to learn to teach more communicative, there is also necessary proximity between master BK and students as an effort to establish a trust between the two. As a manifestation and concern for the communication process that occurred in the school between the BK teachers and high school students in Depok, then the STIAMI Institute conducts effective communication training for the teachers of BK SMA. With the aim of building and improving the communication skills of master BK to support the process of teaching more effectively through communication. The target audience of this dedication is the teachers of BK SMA in Depok. The cost of devotion is obtained from the Department of Communication in the STIAMI Institute in 2015. The event was held on 20 December 2016 at the STIAMI II campus on JL. Arif Rahman Hakim No. 3 Beji Depok, followed by 50 teachers of BK SMA. From the results of the evaluation of the results and benefits of this dedication activities include improving the communication skills of the BK SMA teachers in understanding students in the face of the learning process according to their age and "kinship". The participants were enthusiastic and actively participated in this training activity. This training is to be done on a wider target and the material can be developed on teachers other than BK teachers. Thus, it is hoped that someday help BK teachers and other teachers to develop and improve the quality of Communication to the students, so that the quality of learning is increased because it has awakened trust between teachers and students in the area of Depok.

Abstrak Dalam proses belajar mengajar peran supervisi kepala madrasah memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, di mana para guru didalam melaksanakan tugasnya merupakan ujung tombak dalam mensukseskan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Di dalam pelaksanaan proses belaajar mengajar para guru seringkali mendapat kesulitan,dan kesulitan itu akan terjadi kemandegan dan kegagalan sekaligus berdampak pada mutu pendidikan, peran supervisi atau supervisor memiliki peran strategis dalam memberikan layanan terhadap guru yang mendapatkan kesulitan atau terjadi penurunan dalam kompetensinya. Tulisan ini berfokus pada kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam peningkatan kinerja. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Data-data yang sudah didapatkan kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan analisis data deskriptif. Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam peningkatan kinerja guru menggunakan dua teknik yakni supervisi akademik berbasis pada individu dan kelompok. Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik teknik individu untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sirajul Ulum Jatiurip Krejengan Probolinggo yaitu menggunakan teknik orientasi bagi guru baru, classroom observation dan individual converence, sedangkan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik teknik kelompok untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Jatiurip Krejengan Probolinggo yaitu menggunakan teknik rapat dewan guru, workshop/ lokakarya, bacaan terpimpin, buletin board dan karyawisata. Kata Kunci: kepala madrasah, supervisi akademik, kinerja guru, madrasah ibtidaiyah   Abstract In the teaching and learning process, the supervisory role of madrasah headmaster comprises a strategic role in improving educational quality, while the teachers in doing their tasks are seen as the lead in the efforts of achieving national education goals. In the implementation of teaching and learning process, most of the time teachers experience difficulties in which it causes stagnation and failure in improving as well as directly affecting the quality of the education itself. The role of supervision, or supervisor, possess a strategic role in providing services to teachers who experience difficulties or those who suffer declining competence. This paper focuses on the performance improvement of the leadership of the headmaster at madrasah. This paper used qualitative research methods. The data that has been obtained is analyzed by using descriptive data analysis. The leadership of Head master at Madrasah in improving teacher’s performance is done by using academic supervision techniques based on individuals and groups. The implementation of academic supervision technique within individual in improving teacher’s performance at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Primary School) Sirajul Ulum Jatiurip Krejengan Probolinggo is carried out by using orientation techniques for new teachers, classroom observations and individual conversions. Meanwhile, the implementation of academic supervision techniques within groups in improving teacher’s performance in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sirajul Ulum Jatiurip Krejengan Probolinggo is carried out by using teacher council meetings technique, workshops, guided reading, bulletin boards and field trips.
