Representation of Woman Existentialist Reflected from Archetypal Image Analysis in The Chrysanthemums Story

This study aims at analyzing the representation of women's existence through the archetypal image in the chrysanthemum story. This study uses Carl Jung's archetypal image theory which is supported by Simone de Beauvoir's theoretical concepts. This research is focused on analyzing archetypal image. This story is revealed by classifying symbol, persona, anima and animus archetypal, and self-archetypal. Meanwhile, further analysis of the archetypal symbol is then criticized using the concept of the woman existentialist Simone de Beauvoir. This study uses a qualitative research method in which all data sources are taken from the short story. The results showed that there are four symbols of archetypal, personal archetypal, opposing points of view of anima and animus archetypal, and how to control self-archetypal. From all of these classifications, it is concluded that the representation of an existentialist woman is reflected through the main character named Elisa, including daring to go against the rules, being able to make their own decisions and being a woman who can stand alone.

Abstract. Conversation is a process of exchanging two variables, there are speech role and commodity exchange, the combination between them is called speech function. This thesis is entitled “Speech Function Used by All Speaker In Allison L. Randall‘s Short Story End of The Line”. This study aims at describing the kinds of speech function and interpersonal role created by all speakers in Allison L. Randall’s short story “End of The Line”. They are Liza, Frank, Noah Crawford, Postmaster, Zedekiah Smith and Caleb. This study used qualitative research method. Qualitative research method was used to collect and analyze data that cannot be represented by number. Descriptive research was used in the literal sense of describing situation and event. The result of this study shows that there are 10 kinds of speech functions produced by all characters (Liza, Frank, Noah Crawford, Postmaster, Zedekiah Smith and Caleb). They are 11 statements, 8 commands, 5 offers, 7 questions, 2 acknowledgements, 3 contradictions, 2 acceptances, 2 rejections, 2 answers, and 2 disclaimers. The highest speech function is ‘command’ produced by Liza because she demands the bank robber to release her from the captive. She also produced highest speech function ‘question’, because she is the main character. She is a talkative who wants to know everything. The highest speech function produced by Zedekiah Smith is ‘statement’ because he is bank robber who comes back again to release Liza.Keywords: Conversation, Short Story, Speech Function, UtterancesAbstrak. Percakapan adalah proses perubahan 2 variabel, yaitu peran berbicara dan perpindahan peran. Kombinasi di antara keduanya disebut fungs tutur. Penelitian in iberjudul Fungsi Tutur yang digunakan oleh Seluruh Karakter Pada Cerita Pendek Allison L. Randall “End of The Line. Penelitian ini berhubungan dengan analisis fungsi tutur fokus pada ujaran yang digunakan oleh semua karakter pada cerita pendek Allison L. Randall “End of The Line”. Mereka adalah Liza, Frank, Noah Crawford, Kepala kantor Pos, Zedekiah Smith, dan Caleb. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk menyeleksi dan menganalisa data yang tidak dapat dipresentasikan dengan angka. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode deskripsi. Metode deskripsi digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan situasi dan peristiwa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 10 jenis ujaran yang dibuat oleh semua karakter di dalam cerita pendek (Liza, Frank, Noah Crawford, Kepala Kantor post, Zedekiah Smith, dan Caleb) adalah 11 pernyataan, 8 perintah, 5 penawaran, 7 pertanyaan, 2 pengakuan,3 kontradiksi ,2 penerimaan, 2 penampikan, 2 jawaban, 2 penyangkalan. Pelaku yang paling banyak menghasilkan fungsi tutur perintah adalah Liza karena Liza meminta kepada perampok untuk dibebaskan dari sekapanya. Dia juga paling banyak menghasilkan fungsi tutur pertanyaan karena dia adalah peran utama di dalam cerita. Pelaku yang paling banyak menggunakan fungsi tutur pernyataan adalah Zedekiah Smith, dia adalah perampok bank yang kembali untuk menyelamatkan Liza. SOLO Taxonomy is one of the frameworks used in analyzing the quality of responses in problem solving. This research aim to analyze the student’s responses level in doing problem solving item based on SOLO Taxonomy overviewed from motivation to learn. The research method used in this study was a qualitative research with the data sources of this study were 75 students period 2016/2017. The results of the study showed that student’s responses in doing problem solving wave concept at prestructural level is 62,17%, Unistructural Level is 27,63%, Multistructural level is 58,22%, Relasional level is 48,50%, and Extended Abstract level is 37,82%; Motivation to learn’s student high category are better at responding to answer item based SOLO Taxonomy than motivation to learn’s students low category.Keywords: Student’s reponses; SOLO Taxonomy; Motivation to Learn

AbstractThe growing of character values has an important role to build the development of the learners potencyin order to behuman who are faithful and devoting to Almighty God, gracious, competitive, honorable, having good moral, polite and be able to interact to society. Through education given, learners is expected to be able toimprove independently, use and review knowledge, internalize and personalize the character values and be graciousso these can be implemented in their everyday behavior.This study aims to describe the planning of the main character values implementation in the IPS learning conducted by IPS teachers in SMP Negeri 3 Kelua, describe the executing of the main character values implementation in the IPS learning conducted by IPS teachers in SMP Negeri 3 Kelua, describe the assessment of the main character values implementationin the IPS learning conducted by IPS teachers in SMP Negeri 3 Kelua.This research method uses observation method, interview, and documentation bya qualitative research approach. The research is held in SMP Negeri 3 Kelua. The data analysis is by data reduction, display data and Verification.The results of this study and discussion illustrate, This research suggests that the results of research can be used as additional repertoire of the application of character values about the analysis of character values implementation in IPS learning. Melalui pendidikan diharapkan peserta didik mampu secara mandiri meningkatkan dan menggunakan pengetahuannya, mengkaji dan menginternalisasi serta mempersonalisasi nilai-nilai karakter dan akhlak mulia sehingga terwujud dalam perilaku sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, penilaian implementasi nilai karakter utama dalam pembelajaran IPS yang dilakukan oleh guru IPS di SMP Negeri 3 Kelua. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Kelua. Analisis data dengan reduksi data, data display dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan ini, menggambarkan bahwa: Perencanaan implementasi pendidikan nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMPN 3 Kelua dengan menyiapkan Silabus dan RPP terlebih dahulu, Pelaksanaan implementasi pendidikan nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMPN 3 Kelua dengan cara tugas kelompok dengan presentase dan diskusi, Penilaian implementasi pendidikan nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMPN 3 Kelua dengan menyiapkan lebih dahulu lembaran penilaian untuk peserta didik. Penelitian ini menyarankan hasil penelitian bisa dijadikan sebagai tambahan khasanah penerapan nilai karakter tentang analisis implementasi nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS. Bagi guru bisa meningkatkan kreatifitasnya merancang dan merevisi rencana proses pembelajaran dengan penerapan nilai karakter sesuai kondisi sekolah dan materi pelajaran. Yang menjadikan peserta didik mampu mandiri, meningkatkan dan menggunakan pengetahuannya, mengkaji dan menginternalisasi serta mempersonalisasi nilai-nilai karakter dan akhlak mulia terwujud dalam perilaku sehari-hari.Kata Kunci: Analisis, Implementasi, Nilai Karakter, IPS

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the relationship of performance allowances in optimizing the performance of Civil Service Civil Engineering Institute. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Sampling or data sources in this study were conducted purposively and for the sample size determined by snowball, interviewing techniques, data analysis using interpretive models and research results emphasizing the meaning of generalization. The results of this study indicate that each flight engineer has a workload of each. The workload is made by each employee based on job descriptions which are then outlined in the form of Employee Work Objectives (KPI). The development of achievement of KPI is one aspect in the Employee Job Achievement component, which is a reference in providing employee performance benefits, in addition to assessing the employee work discipline component. The granting of performance benefits has met the principles of fairness, fair and reasonable, competitive and transparent. Of the several motivations received by employees, performance allowances are considered the most effective to be given because by providing performance benefits employees have the ability to meet more needs, as evidenced by the desire of employees to try to carry out work optimally through efforts to achieve work performance and work discipline. Employees try to carry out the workload contained in the KPI well, carry out at least 2 additional tasks and make timely reports.

This research is aimed to find the signs then interpret the meaning of signs in Raya and the last dragon film. This film is the first Walt Disney project that was inspired by Southeast Asian cultures especially Indonesia. The design of the study is a semiotics approach by using Charles Sander Peirce’s theory. The type of research is a descriptive qualitative research method. The signs are collected, reduced, classified with Object Triadic; Icon, Index and Symbol then find the Interpretant through correlation between Representamen and Object. There are 30 signs found in the research. The meaning of the sign is divided into two categories, namely the meaning is appropriate with the story and the rest have representation about cultures. From the research of this film we can conclude a moral value: trust and togetherness and also pride about Southeast Asian cultures especially Indonesia can be shown abroad.

The title of this paper is a conversational implicature analysis on Oscar Wilde’s “Happy Prince”. In this paper, the writer discusses conversational implicature in one of Oscar Wilde’s short stories entitled “Happy Prince”. The objectives of the study are to identify the implicature utterances conveyed by the characters in Oscar Wilde’s “Happy Prince” and to describe the implied meaning uttered by the characters in Oscar Wilde’s “Happy Prince”. In this study, the writer applies qualitative research method. The objects of this study are ten utterances of conversational implicature in Oscar Wilde’s “Happy Prince”. Those conversational implicature are obtained through frequent reading and analysis. This study employed the researcher as the instrument to find adequate and profound data and analyze them. The procedures and steps that have been used in this research are: (1) the provision of data, (2) data classification, (3) and data analysis. In analyzing the data, the writer uses Gricean theory. It is a theory about conversational implicature generated by four maxims. Those are maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relation and maxim of manner. Then the last step is (4) the presentation of data analysis. After conducting the research, the writer found ten conversational implicatures in Oscar Wilde’s short story “Happy Prince”. In the short story, there are some variation’s meanings of the conversational implicature used in the short story which closely related to the conversational implicature; they are cooperative, politeness and ironical principle. In Oscar Wilde’s short story “Happy Prince”, there are six maxims of politeness principle, two maxims of cooperative principles and two maxims of ironical principles. Besides that, the reasons of the conversational implicature used in Oscar Wilde’s short story “Happy Prince” are to make us easyly understand the dialogue in the short story conversations and it is aimed at minimizing misunderstanding among the readers and literary critics.Keywords: Conversational Implicature; Maxims; Gricean Theory; Short Story

The purpose of this study is to find a description of the elements or religious values contained in the short stories of Kiss Aku di Ujung Subuh by Hamzah Puadi Ilyas. The method in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method. The religious value in the short story Kiss Aku di Ujung Subuh by Hamzah Puadi Ilyas shows that there is religious value in the aspect of belief in Allah, including believing in angels, the Day of Judgment, the prophet's ark, and believing in the Koran and hadiths; religious value in the aspect of awe of the majesty of God includes amazement at the aroma of wickedness, the power of God, and the creation of the universe; religious values in the aspect of the vibration of a personal conscience include a heart vibration of gratitude, cries of events, past memories, and dreams; religious values in the aspect of personal attitudes include the attitude of worship, prostrate, makeistigfar, dhikr, and read the Koran / juz-amma; and religious values in the aspect of mental intimidation include intimidation of the soul from karma, the core process of death, and the process of taking one's life. Based on the results of this study, it can also be seen that the religious value that appears most in the short stories of Ciinum Aku di Ujung Subuh by Hamzah Puadi Ilyas is personal attitude. The problem of this research is how the form of assistance at the Department of Agriculture is given to farmer groups, what type of contract is the provision of assistance to farmer groups. The purpose of this study was to identify and explain the form of assistance at the Department of Agriculture given to farmer groups, what types of contracts for providing assistance to farmer groups. The research method that the author uses is a qualitative research method using field research with observation and interview data collection techniques. Primary data sources consist of the head of the field extension, the village guardian, the head and members of the farmer group. The data processing carried out here is qualitative. Based on the results of the research that the author has done, the implementation of the provision of assistance in 2019, 2020, and 2019 from the Department of Agriculture to farmer groups in Jorong Bulan Sarik Nagari Sungai Jambu was carried out by handing over assistance provided in the form of freelance assistance which could be utilized by members and the head of the farmer group, the assistance is in the form of plant seeds and farming machinery. After the assistance is given, there is no form of return agreement with the Agriculture service or the village guardian. In the utilization of harvests from the assistance of the Department of Agriculture will also be enjoyed by farmer groups who receive the assistance. So the implementation of providing assistance to the group that occurs contains a halal element because there are no arguments that prohibit it.

Muamalat (transactions or dealings) is a quarter of the fiqh chapter besides worship, munakahah (marriage) and jinayah chapters. Another perspective, muamalah is half fiqh; because munakahah and jinayah can be put under muamalah. Showing the urgency of the muamalah chapter is being half of the religion. On the other hand, the rules “Basically, the Command Means Obligatory, Unless The Postulate Shows Other Things” is one of the most important rules in ushl al-fiqh. This study examines this rule and its application in the Muamalah chapter. The research method used is a qualitative with a theory implementation approach. The data sources are the books of ushlal-fiqh, fiqh, interpretation, hadith and Arabic. Data collection and analysis are done deductively. The most important results of this study are as follows: (1) The strongest opinion is that the command basically shows the obligation, unless the postulate transfers it to another meaning. (2) The ushuliyyah rules have enough examples of application in the muamalah chapter, such as: a. Basically the order means mandatory while there is no postulate that diverts it to other meanings, for example the order to return the slave brothers who are sold separately, the order to determine the size of the salam commodity, the order to return goods borrowed and deposited, and the order to sell similar ribawi commodities in tamatsul (such as in the dose or the scales) and taqabud (cash). b. The orders change meaning to sunnah or other meanings if there is a postulate that diverts them to these other meanings. For example, orders to bring witnesses in a sale and purchase transaction, waqf orders, and orders to record debts and credit. (3) Sometimes there are different points of view in understanding the meaning of the command, and whether there is a postulate that diverts it from the meaning of mandatory. For example, the order to take and announce the finding (luqathah) and the order to accept the transfer of receivables to third parties, if the third party is rich (liquid).
