The study of the use of Moringa a leaf in mathematics learning at elementary / Islamic elementary level as an alternative media for learning mathematics based on local wisdom aims to introduce the use of Moringa leaves in mathematics learning, especially in the concept of counting and connections in making patterns. The method applied is a literature review obtained through the Research Gate and Google Scholar databases and other relevant sources. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis method. Based on this study, it is known that in addition to its role in culinary and treatment, Moringa leaves can also be used as a medium for learning mathematics, especially in applying the concept of arithmetic at the elementary / Islamic elementary level and in making connections. So according to this, it is expected that the study can be used as a reference in developing the creative potential of teachers and students in order to create the characteristics of effective and efficient mathematics learning.

<em>Teaching material is a collection of material and images compiled by the teacher. Learning mathematics in elementary school (SD) really needs to provide content between mathematics in the daily world of students based on local culture with school mathematics. One of the innovative mathematics learning in elementary school can be done by linking the material with culture or ethnomatematics. Ethnomatematics-based teaching materials in elementary schools can be defined as a collection of special elementary materials compiled by teachers in facilitating the process of learning mathematics in class related to culture, either in the form or form that is often encountered by students. The advantages of teaching materials consist of: 1) Study From Anywhere, Anytime; 2) No Commuting; 3) Flexibility to Choose. While the shortcomings of teaching materials consist of: 1) High Chances of Distraction in the Class; 2) No Social Interaction; 3) Takes A Lot of Time and Money. The research method used is the Library Study (Library Research). The data analysis technique used in this study is the Content Analysis method.</em>

Mathematics in elementary school is difficult to understand, boring, formal, theoretical, and book-based learning, which makes students tired of listening and paying attention. The purpose of this study is to create a learning prototype based on QR codes, especially mathematics learning in elementary schools. Using the QR code, students can access math games related to the course. This learning model could encourage students to learn mathematics. The research included seven steps in research and development named after Borg &amp; Gall, such as need assessment, plan, early product development, first test, revise early product, field test and revise product. The object of the research is QR code-based learning, and the respondents are elementary school students and teachers. After analyzing data in the first and field test, researchers found the result. QR code-based learning could support children for learning mathematics.

Abstract: Poor oral hygiene could cause a variety of diseases in the oral cavity. Oral diseases can occur in various age groups, including children. World Health Organization survey showed that 90% of the world population suffer from gingivitis; 80% of them are children under 12 years of age. Gingivitis is an early stage of periodontal disease in the form of gingival inflammation due to poor oral dental hygiene. Therefore, biofilms are accumulated on the plaques along the gingival margins. This study was aimed to determine the oral dental hygiene and the incidence of gingivitis in elementary school children. This was a literature review study using three databases, namely: Google Scholar, PubMed, and Digital Reference Garba. The results obtained nine journals that were relevant to the topic of discussion. Moreover, oral dental hygiene was influenced by knowledge of oral dental health and oral dental hygiene maintenance behavior such as tooth brushing and diet. The incidence of gingivitis among elementary school children ranged from 74.4% to 91.94%. In conclusion, oral hygiene status of elementary school children was in the medium category and the incidence of gingivitis among them was high. Keywords: oral hygiene, incidence of gingivitis, elementary school children Abstrak: Kebersihan gigi mulut yang kurang dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah dalam rongga mulut.

Health services provided by foundations in the pre-Republic period became more systematic and organized after the foundation of the Turkish Republic. Healthcare services, offered by the state in the period between 1920 and 1980 and accepted as one of the main duties of the state, became one of the areas in which the state wanted to withdraw after 1980. As a result of the neoliberal wave in the globalized world, policies aimed at downsizing healthcare services in Turkey have been developed and implemented since the 1980s. Accelerated downsizing practices by the Health Transformation Project (2003) continues today. In this study, literature review and descriptive analysis method were used. The aim of this study is to discuss the downsizing practices in the health sector of Turkey. This debate will take place over two periods (before 2002 and after 2002). Especially, the post-2002 period and works on behalf of health sector downsizing in this period will be discussed as to whether there is downsizing or not.

Learning mathematics in elementary school is expected to adjust to the cognitive development of students. Abstract mathematical concepts make students need help to understand them. This study aims to develop mathematics learning media geometry for 4th grade elementary school students. This development research uses the Borg & Gall research model which was carried out to the seventh stage, namely research and information collecting, planning, developing preliminary form a product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, and operational product revision. Product trials were conducted at Ngablak Public Elementary School. Data collection instruments were using a questionnaire. The questionnaire used to assess the appropriateness of the media was an expert validation assessment sheet, while the teachers’ assessment sheet and students’ response questionnaire were used to determine the practicality of the product. The validation results from the experts obtained that the Magic Geometry media was declared very appropriate to be used in learning mathematics with an average score of 4.45. The results of the teacher practicality assessment were stated to be very practical with a score of 4.9 and the student’s response questionnaire received an average score of 4.2 with a practical category. The results of the student response questionnaire also showed that Magic Geometry made learning becomes more interesting and materials easier to understand.
