The existence of a farmer in Indonesia will be stronger when joining a farming group or organization. The activities of agricultural institutions in Indonesia are directed to the development of food crops, especially rice, including Cianjur, West Java. The Pandanwangi Cianjur Rice Conservation Society (MP3C) is an agricultural institution that plays an active role in developing and preserving Pandanwangi rice as a variety of Geographical Indications. The existence of MP3C will be seen from stakeholder satisfaction with its role. This research was conducted with the aim of reviewing: 1). How is the existence and role of the MP3C; 2). How much stakeholder satisfaction is there for the role and performance of MP3C. 35 responses were collected from respondents consisting of Pandanwangi farmers, Pandanwangi rice traders and consumers, government and academics. Determination of respondents as samples is done by quota sampling technique. There are 5 dimensions to measuring satisfaction with the performance and interests of MP3C institutions. These dimensions include tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. To answer the objectives of the first research qualitative descriptive analysis was carried out on the respondents' information and responses. The second research objective was answered by the analysis method of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the study indicate: 1) The existence of MP3C institutions is very important for stakeholders. MP3C has a role in controlling, overseeing, supervising and fostering the Pandanwangi rice farmers who are members; 2) The role of MP3C is considered very important by stakeholders in terms of guidance and counseling, while the performance of MP3C is considered to provide satisfaction with the CSI value of 69.93%. Such a condition is expected to be a consideration for the continuous improvement and sustainability of the MP3C institution in an effort to develop and preserve Pandanwangi rice.

Background: Musculoskeletal disorders are not only becoming prevalent among health care professionals in our country but are affecting their health and performance adversely. They are caused by poor ergonomics and awkward posture during work activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency of neck and upper limb musculoskeletal disorders in dentists of Lahore, Pakistan. Material and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted during October 2017 to March 2018. The data was collected using convenient sampling technique from 162 Dentists including 52 males and 110 females of Children hospital Lahore, Punjab Dental hospital and Fatima Memorial Hospital, Lahore. Data was collected by using Mangalore Questionnaire for identification of musculoskeletal disorders. Descriptive analysis of the data was done using SPSS version 22.0. Results: Of 162 dentists, 115 (71%) suffered from musculoskeletal disorders. Shoulder was the most commonly affected region (30.9%) followed by neck (25.9%), arm (6.2%), wrist (4.3%), elbow (3.1%) and forearm (0.6%). Pain (45.7%) was found to be the most common complaint followed by muscle weakness (20.4%), paraesthesia (3.7%) and swelling (1.2%). Conclusions: It was concluded that majority of the dentists were suffering from musculoskeletal disorders with shoulder as the most affected region and pain as the most frequent complaint. This study aims to examine the effect of work life balance, personality and organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior. The sample used in this study was 165 respondents. The sampling technique uses incidental sampling. Data analysis methods use descriptive analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis using IBM SPSS. The results showed that work life balance was not significantly positive effect, while personality and organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment was able to mediate the relationship between work life balance and personality on organizational citizenship behavior. The suggestion from this research is that the company should be able to develop more policies that encourage employees to be eager to contribute. For further research that is examining the same aspects to use respondents who have a position in a relatively high job, such as supervisors and managers. To be compared between employees who have positions and not have positions.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan: budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru; komunikasi dengan kinerja guru; budaya sekolah dengan komitmen; komunikasi dengan komitmen, komitmen dengan kinerja guru; budaya sekolah dengan kinerja melalui komitmen; komunikasi dengan kinerja guru melalui komitmen. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 250 orang guru di 100 Sekolah yang dipilih secara stratified proporsional random sampling dari populasi sebesar 2.276 orang guru yang tersebar di 274 SD Negeri di Kota Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriftip dan analisi jalur. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa budaya sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja, komunikasi memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja, budaya sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan komitmen, komunikasi memiliki hubungan dengan komitmen, komitmen memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja guru, komitmen merupakan perantara hubugan budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru dan hubungan komunikasi dengan kinerja guru. Kata Kunci: budaya sekolah, komunikasi, komitmen, kinerja THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOL CULTURE, COMMUNICATION, AND COMMITMENT AND THE STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ PERFORMANCE Abstract: This study was aimed to describe the relationship between: school culture and tea- chers’ performance; communication and teachers’ commitment; school culture and commitment; communication and commitment; commitment and teachers’ performance; school culture and performance through commitment; communication and teachers’ performance through commitment. The sample consisting of 250 teachers from 100 schools was selected using the stratified proportional random sampling technique from a population of 2,276 teachers teaching in 274 state elementary schools in Banjarmasin Municipality. The data were collected using an instrument which had been validated and which was reliable. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis and the path analysis. The findings showed that there was relationship between: school culture and teachers’ performance, communication and performance, school culture and commitment, communication and commitment, commitment and teachers’ performance. Commitment became an intervening variable between school culture and teachers’ performance and between communication and teachers’ performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial intelligence through the role of social media on the performance of SMEs in increasing sales. The type of research used is explanatory research with Accidental Sampling technique. The number of samples determined was 80 respondents. Data analysis in this study using SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results showed that entrepreneurial intelligence consisting of elements of financial intelligence, emotional intelligence, social intelligence and spiritual intelligence had an effect on the performance of SMEs through the role of social media, social media had an effect on performance and sales and performance had an effect on sales.

This survey research based study sought determinants of biogas technology adoption in rural areas of Pakistan. Stratified random sampling technique was employed to select respondents because the population was unknown and heterogeneous in nature. Total 240 respondents (150 biogas users and 120 potential users) were selected and face to face interviewed using a structured, validated and pre-tested questionnaire. Along with descriptive analysis of data logistics regression model was applied to investigate the determinants of biogas adoption. Findings affirmed significant role of socio-economic characteristics  of respondents in the adoption of biogas technology. Empirical findings reported a significant impact of education, the income of households and the number of animals on the adoption of biogas technology. This implies that unit increase in education, income and number of animals will escalate the adoption of biogas technology. Tackling energy crisis, economic benefits, and production of slurry for soil fertility, health gains and environment-friendly nature of biogas were perceived reasons of biogas adoption among the biogas users. Non-government organizations and neighbours were leading motivational factors behind adoption as revealed by users. However, role of electronic media, print media and government institutionsin promoting biogas was reported dismal. This study urge that biogas is valuable alternative source of energy to combat energy crisis. In this way, provision of subsidies, interest free loans and technical backstopping could invoke potential users to adopt biogas technology.  


The study examines the correlation between Canadian University Student OverseaInternational credit facilities, entrepreneurship development programme and the socio-economic life of rural people in Southern Senatorial District. Adopting the survey research method, data was collected from 400 participants from a population of 3847 beneficiaries of the various CUSO programs in Southern Cross River State, using a structured questionnaire. The participants were selected using proportional stratified and accidental sampling technique. Elicited data was analyzed using descriptive statistics before the result was then subjected to correlation analysis at 0.05 confidence level. The descriptive analysis revealed that all the participants, 371 (100.00%), were beneficiaries. 335 (90.30%) participants reported that their socioeconomic status has improved since they benefitted from the CUSO microcredit scheme. 352 (94.88) participants reported that they were beneficiaries of the CUSO entrepreneurship program. 346 (93.3%) reported that the entrepreneurship development program has helped improved their employment status. From the parametric statistics carried out, it was discovered that there was a statistically significant correlation (r (369) = 0.113; p <0.05) between CUSO credit facilitiesand the Socioeconomic life of rural people. The result also revealed a statistically significant relationship between CUSO international entrepreneurship development programme and the Socioeconomic life of rural people. The study thereby calls for an expansion in the number of beneficiaries of the CUSO program.

This study was intended to analyze the attributes of tourism villages in Sleman district that were perceived by domestic tourists, to identify the perceptions of domestic tourists on the importance of various attributes of tourism villages in Sleman Yogyakarta, to identify the perceptions of domestic tourists on the performance of tourism villages viewed from various attributes which were considered important by tourists and to describe whether or not there were differences in perceptions of domestic tourists on the importance and performance of various attributes of economic, social and tourism infrastructure in the Tourism Village of Sleman Regency. Respondents of this study were domestic tourists who were visiting tourism villages in Sleman Regency with a sample of 150 people, who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and Importance-Performance analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the attributes of public facilities, tour guides who master the local culture and have communication skills, security of tourist attractions (tourism  villages), comfort of tourism villages (organized, clean, complete facilities), tourism information (directions, posts on tourism village gates), friendliness of the local people, and people's understanding of culture and tourism objects are in the "Keep Up The good Work" quadrant. The attributes of parking facilities, road quality and health services (hospitals, pharmacies) were in the "Concentrate Here" quadrant. As for the attributes of the number of public transportation facilities, public transportation lines, banking services, traditional or classical cultural events or shows, events or performances of contemporary culture, souvenir shopping, food shopping (culinary), tourism village ticket prices, tourist price levels (tour package prices, outbound, event) were in the "Low Priority" quadrant and the choice of natural or cultural attractions was in the "Possible Overkill" quadrant. Keywords: tourism infrastructure, tourism village attributes, level of importance, level of performance ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis atribut-atribut desa wisata di kabupaten Sleman yang dipersepsikan oleh wisatawan nusantara, untuk mengidentifikasikan  persepsi wisatawan Nusantara terhadap tingkat pentingnya berbagai atribut desa wisata di Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta, untuk mengidentifikasikan persepsi wisatawan Nusantara terhadap kinerja Desa Wisata dilihat dari berbagai atribut yang dianggap penting oleh para wisatawan dan untuk mendeskripsikan ada atau tidaknya perbedaan persepsi wisatawan Nusantara atas arti penting dan kinerja berbagai atribut infrastruktur ekonomi, sosial dan kepariwisatan di Desa Wisata Kabupaten Sleman. Responden penelitian ini adalah para wisatawan nusantara yang sedang berkunjung ke desa wisata di kabupaten Sleman dengan sampel sejumlah 150 orang, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposiv sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis Importance-Performance. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa atribut ketersediaan fasilitas umum (MCK), pemandu wisata yang menguasai budaya lokal, pemandu wisata yang memiliki ketrampilan berkomunikasi, keamanan tempat wisata (desa wisata), kenyamanan desa wisata (teratur, bersih, fasilitas lengkap), informasi pariwisata (petunjuk arah, tulisan pada gerbang desa wisata), keramahan penduduk lokal, dan pemahaman masyarakat akan budaya dan obyek wisata berada pada kuadran “Keep Up The good Work”.  Atribut fasilitas parkir, kualitas jalan dan layanan kesehatan (rumah sakit, apotik)berada pada kuadran “Concentrate Here”. Adapun atribut jumlah sarana transportasi umum, jalur transportasi publik, jasa perbankan (ATM dan sejenisnya), event atau pertunjukan budaya tradisional dan klasik, event atau pertunjukan budaya kontemporer, tempat belanja cinderamata, tempat belanja makanan (oleh-oleh), harga tiket masuk desa wisata, tingkat harga wisata (harga paket wisata, outbound, event)berada pada kuadran “Low Priority”. ABSTRAKParadigma pengelolaan hidup Atur dan Awasi (ADA) merupakan sistem pengelolaan hidup yang banyak diberlakukan di negara-negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia. Implementasi sistem  ADA tersebut sangat dominan dalam pelaksanaan SVLK. Sebagai salah satu pusat industri furnitur, Kabupaten Jepara menjadi daerah yang merasakan dampak langsung dari penerapan kebijakan SVLK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peranan SVLK dalam “menuntun” industri furniture di Jepara untuk melakukan pengelolaan lingkungan seperti dalam UKL UPL/DPLH yang telah dimilikinya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei melalui pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 37 perusahaan yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling atau sering juga disebut teknik Insidental. Tahapan penelitian meliputi wawancara dan penyebaran kuisioner serta review laporan pengelolaan dan pemantauan lingkungan untuk dikaji dan dievaluasi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa paradigma ADA yang mengendalikan SVLK belum mampu berperan maksimal dalam mempengaruhi industri furnitur untuk mengeimplementasikan UKL UPL-nyaKata kunci: ADA, SVLK,UKL UPL, industri furnitur.  ABSTRACTParadigm life management Organize and Supervise (ADA) is a management system that is a lot of life imposed on developing countries including Indonesia. This study aimed to evaluate the role of SVLK in the "lead" in Jepara furniture industry for management of environment as the UKL UPL / DPLH he had. Research conducted by survey method through descriptive analysis approach. Samples are 37 companies that obtained by using a convenience sampling technique sometimes called Incidental techniques. Stages of research includes interviews and questionnaires and review management reports and environmental monitoring to be studied and evaluated. ABSTRAKManusia selalu berperan aktif dan dominan dalam setiap kegiatan organisasi, karena manusia menjadi perencana, pelaku, dan penentu terwujudnya tujuan organisasi.Tujuan tidak mungkin terwujud tanpa peran aktif karyawan meskipun alat-alat yang dimiliki perusahaan begitu canggih. Karyawan adalah asset (kekayaan) utama setiap organisasi, yang selalu ikut berperan aktif dan paling menentukan tercapai tidaknya tujuan organisasi. Oleh karena itu, karyawan perlu mendapat pemeliharaan sebaik-baiknya dari pimpinan organisasi/perusahaan. Artikel dari artikel ini yaitu untuk menganalisis tujuan organisasi dalam pemeliharaan karyawan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam artikel ini yaitu kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik. Kesimpulan dari artikel ini yaitu pemeliharaan (maintenance) karyawan haruslah mendapat perhatian yang sungguh-sungguh dari manajer/pimpinan. Jika pemeliharaan karyawan kurang diperhatikan, semangat kerja, sikap, dan loyalitas karyawan akan menurun. Absensi dan turnover meningkat, disiplin akan menurun, sehingga fungsi pengadaan, pengembangan, kompensasi dan pengintegrasian yang telah dilakukan dengan baik dan biaya yang besar kurang berarti untuk menunjang tercapainya tujuan organisasi/perusahaan. Pemeliharaan karyawan bertujuan untuk mempertahankan atau meningkatkan kondisi fisik, mental, dan sikap karyawan agar mereka tetap loyal dan bekerja produktif untuk menunjang tercapainya tujuan organisasi/perusahaan. Untuk mewujudkan pemeliharaan karyawan yang baik, perusahaan atau organisasi harus melakukannya dengan metode; komunikasi yang baik, insentif yang adil dan layak, pemberian kesejahteraan, keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, serta dilaksanakannya hubungan industrial Pancasila.ABSTRACTHumans always play an active and dominant role in every organizational activity, because humans become planners, actors, and determinants of the realization of organizational goals. Goals cannot be realized without the active role of employees even though the tools owned by the company are so sophisticated. Employees are the main asset (wealth) of every organization, who always play an active role and most determine whether or not the organizational goals are achieved. Therefore, employees need to get the best possible care from the leadership of the organization/company. The article of this article is to analyze organizational goals in employee maintenance. The approach used in this article is qualitative with the analytical descriptive method. The conclusion of this article is that employee maintenance must receive serious attention from the manager/leader. If employee maintenance is not paid attention to, employee morale, attitude and loyalty will decline. Attendance and turnover increase, discipline will decrease, so that the functions of procurement, development, compensation and integration that have been carried out properly and at large costs do not mean to support the achievement of organizational/company goals. Employee maintenance aims to maintain or improve the physical, mental, and attitude conditions of employees so that they remain loyal and work productively to support the achievement of organizational/company goals. To achieve good employee maintenance, a company or organization must do it by method; good communication, fair and proper incentives, provision of occupational welfare, safety and health, and implementation of Pancasila industrial relations.

The role of agriculture in the economic development of this country is still very important, besides being a fuel provider, this sector also contributes significantly to the development of workforce which is expected to have an increase in the change in the level of poverty. The Ministry of Agriculture has a vision and mission in alleviating poverty by rolling out various forms of programs to increase capital for farmers. Farmers who have developed their level of education, improved changes in the economic and political structure, began to understand to form a farmer group that had the goal of obtaining and obtaining mutual assistance included in the agricultural program of the government, such as the UPSUS Pajale Program. Farmers who are members of farmer groups will strengthen the ability of their groups to manage and channel the Pajale UPSUS Program assistance that requires improving farm safety consisting of indicators; the role of members of farmer groups, suitability of group services, collectivity, and resolution of local wisdom that still requires in its farming activities. The success of farmer groups can not be separated from social capital which is the main foundation that must be owned by farmers as group members. Mangkuprawira (2010) describes the support of social capital in farmers such as social norms, mutual trust, networking, cooperation, mutual relations, participation, and commitment that will be directly connected to the success of the UPSUS Pajale (soybean) program being rolled out by the government, and seen from three indicators namely; successful output, successful results, and successful benefits. The UPSB Pajale Program in East Lampung Regency is held from February to March 2019. The data used are primary and secondary data with the Mix-method research method. The sampling technique used was the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling with a total sample of 140 farmers who were members of a farmer group receiving the 2017 UPSUS Pajale Kedelai Program in East Lampung Regency. Data processing is done qualitatively and quantitatively. Data is arranged qualitatively using descriptive analysis, while quantitative data is processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, which uses the LISREL 8.80 program. The results showed the value of R2 = 0.71, which means that the second variable namely Farmer Institutional Performance and the Existence of Farmer Social Capital contributed 71 percent and was significant to the Success of the UPSUS Pajale Program in East Lampung Regency.Keywords: Farming Institution, Existence of Social Capital, and UPSUS Pajale Program
