This paper considers one of the ways to develop skills of independent work using the sign form of reflection in the framework of interpersonal communication. This is one of the ways of interaction between the teacher and the students being taught, which allows them to encourage students to think, engage in active intellectual activity, and change their behavior through appropriate language techniques and means that are characteristic of this sign form. The interactive motive determines the choice and purpose of the task being formulated. The task developed by the teacher on an interactive basis is a motive for activating the cognitive activity of students. Tasks using the sign form of reflection can be actively used in the process of developing independent work skills in the field of professionally-oriented translation, since most of the tasks in this discipline must be performed independently. A skillful and well-thought-out task with the use of an iconic form of reflection allows the teacher to update the proposed material, arouse interest in the work performed, and achieve higher efficiency in the work. Thanks to the use of ICT, you can work with up-to-date materials in various styles and genres, as well as training materials. encouraging their creativity. The task of the teacher when using tasks with a sign form of reflection is to develop students ' ability to think independently, creatively approach the task. only in this case, the knowledge obtained as a result of independent work becomes personally significant and can be used in the future profession.

Introduction.  During the training of emergency specialists, the development of a clear, structured thinking is important.  And the mathematical disciplines themselves are aimed at activating the intellectual activity of cadets and students, the ability to think logically, consistently, and reasonably.  However, cadets and students consider mathematics to be a complex, inaccessible and not very necessary science.  Therefore, there is a need for continuous, continuous development of methods, technologies of forms of training that would increase interest, accessibility to mathematical disciplines and at the same time, were aimed at improving the quality of training of future rescuers. Purpose.  Identify the main stages of teaching higher mathematics for future civil defense specialists and substantiate their peculiarities. Methods.  The article used methods of scientific knowledge (general), methods used in the empirical and theoretical levels of research (transition from abstract to specific).  Results.  The basic stages of teaching higher mathematics for future specialists of civil defense are determined: motivation, research, assimilation, application.  The proposed stages are analyzed in detail.  The regularities that contribute to the increase of motivation (selection of educational material, system approach, creative approach, a variety of forms and methods of teaching, taking into account the specifics of the future profession, the use of innovative teaching technologies) are highlighted.  There are three phases of knowledge (curiosity, curiosity, theoretical knowledge).  It is determined that for the acquisition of knowledge it is possible to use the information - search type of classes with its microstructure.  Planning the microstructure of occupations in the first place should put the level of cognitive activity, awareness and independence in the performance of educational tasks.  It is noted that the process of assimilation is the process of internalization of knowledge, putting it into the inner plan of man, and the application is to extraorise knowledge, make it to the outline of human activity.  It was investigated that the stage of application of knowledge is divided into two parts (the first is the application of knowledge, skills in standard terms, the second - the transfer of knowledge, skills, skills in new, changed conditions).  Examples of applied tasks that can be solved in higher mathematics classes are given.  It is substantiated that only in combination of all stages is formed the need for knowledge acquisition and their application. Conclusion.  Stages of teaching higher mathematics - a cyclical process that requires constant improvement, hard work of the teacher.  Stages of motivation and application combine the same laws (selection of educational material, creative approach, taking into account the specifics of the future profession, the use of innovative teaching technologies).  And only in a logical, thought-out combination of these stages can one form the future need for civil protection specialists to expand the knowledge and apply it to practical application.

The implementation of new technologies of teaching is the important task of modernization of pedagogical system of mastering highly skilled specialists. The aim — to ground the implementation of test control for the estimation of quality of knowledge of future doctors. Gaining knowledge in microbiology is very necessary for future doctors to understand the principals of diagnostics and struggling infectious diseases. Knowledge in microbiology is basis for better understanding of clinical disciplines, as it assists logical perception of clinical data, influences on the forming clinical thought without which it is impossible to become a highly skilled specialist. The implementation of modern methods of studies, control, providing the increase of creative activity of students, forming and developing in them professional thought is one of the effective way of the improvement of quality of pedagogical training of highly skilled doctors. The experience of applying of the test control of knowledge in students in the medical university at classes of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology has been presented in the manuscript. The use of different types of test control has been proved to be one of the effective methods for determining the level of knowledge among students. Test control promotes the activation of cognitive activity, forms students’ skills of independent work, develops their logical thinking. Test control of obtained knowledge should be used in conjunction with other methods of studying the subject. The analysis of the results of the writing of the KROK-1 qualification exam by the students of the stomatological department has been conducted. The use of different methods of estimation of control of knowledge is necessary for its improvement. The study of microbiology is the important base of forming fundamental knowledge in students. Therefore, test control in a complex with other pedagogical methods can be used as one of the important and optimal methods to improve estimation of the basic level of students’ knowledge.

The main direction of improving the process of professional development of doctors at the stage of postgraduate training is the gradual introduction of modern forms of education. Internship is the first step to independent work of a doctor, so it is important from this stage to direct the efforts of a young specialist to self-improvement. Traditional methods of training interns are primarily aimed at obtaining and deepening knowledge through the transfer of information with subsequent implementation in specific professional activities with recognized algorithms. However, this method of teaching does not contribute to the development of independent cognitive activity of young colleagues, although it is on this postulate the concept of distance learning is based as a new form of postgraduate education. The article characterizes the modern system of training of interns-ophthalmologists. The use of distance learning, clinical analysis of patients’ data, stage test control, situational tasks in the educational process is substantiated. Wishes are expressed to improve the organization of the internship in ophthalmology.

The chapter deals with the problem of preparing a graduate of a classical university, possessing both professional and special competencies, which include expertise, knowledge, and skills obtained in the study of pedagogical disciplines. The effectiveness of student preparation largely depends on the results of their independent work, which is given a significant amount of academic time. At the same time, the teacher's task is to accompany the student's independent work and to draw up a system of non-standard tasks that develop communicative and creative skills, skills of working with scientific texts and project activities. The aim of the chapter is to reveal the possibilities of technologies of independent work organization that motivate students to dynamic cognitive activity while studying pedagogical disciplines (on the example of studying the course “Pedagogy” at Saint Petersburg State University).

The goal of the Independent Living Project for Deaf/Blind Youth, described here, was to maximize the independence of teenagers who were multiply handicapped due to deafness, blindness, and mental retardation. The teenagers had been overprotected and sheltered in their previous environments. Their educational programs had emphasized one-on-one instruction and direct supervision so that few interaction skills or independent work skills were learned. The project included an independent living apartment in which a unique video monitoring system was used for indirect supervision. Skill areas of home management, personal management, social/ emotional skills, work skills, and communication skills were emphasized. The teenagers’ autonomy increased over the four and one-half years of the project. They learned many daily living and work skills they would not have learned in a more traditional program.
