character education and Values growth normally happens over various years and inside various situations. Since relatives are the primary people with whom one comes into contact the impact of the family keeps on being critical to a kids's values  and character development. This reality is especially suitable in the preschools and early school years. As understudies progress through state funded schools, it is significant that their training give instructional chances, unequivocal and verifiable that help them build up their convictions about what is correct and great.

Character building is an important step in the process of education, especially Islamic education. The occurrence of various forms of immoral behavior from the community, especially students is an increasingly problematic education today. Character building needs to be done early on to students, both within the family and educational institutions. This paper is intended to look at the process of character building in one of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah institutions in Yogyakarta that applies the Fullday school model with a boarding school education base. The formulation of the problem to be answered is about how the process of implementing the Fullday school system in fostering children's character and how to foster children's character with boarding-based values. The results of the study show that character building through the Fullday school program can run more effectively because the teacher's guidance to students is more intensive. In addition, the planting of the values of the pesantrenan can provide students with supplies, such as serving the parents, living a simple and thrifty life, discipline, and so on. Character education and coaching in MI Nurul Ummah is the parents' choice because education obtained by children outside the home can be guaranteed.

This study discusses the role of parents in character education for young women according to Islam. This research library research. The main and first character education for children is the family environment. Education in the family is very important and is the main pillar of character building for a child. The family as the smallest social unit is the most important educational environment and is responsible for educating their children. The education provided by parents should provide a basis for children's education regarding the socialization process and their life in society. Good parenting styles will have a good impact on children's development as well as should. The success of character building in children is influenced by the role of parents in educating children. Parents play an important role in forming an intimate and long-lasting interaction system characterized by personal loyalty, love, and affectionate relationships

One of the functions of education is to form the character of students. Character building is a system of inculcating character values ​​to students through competency achievement activities in accordance with the level of education. Character education at the institutional level leads to the formation of values ​​that underlie individual behavior applied in society. The problem that arises in this research lies in fostering student character so that it gives rise to several research questions such as: How to plan students’ character development at Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh in building student character, How is the implementation of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program  in fostering student character and what are the implications of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program in fostering students’ character. The purpose of this study is to determine the efforts made by ustaz ustazah in planning student character development in Ma'had, to determine the implementation of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program and to find out what are the implications of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program. in building student character. The research method in this thesis uses qualitative research methods in the form of descriptive analysis. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results in this thesis research indicate that planning at the beginning of the program that  students are required to live in a dormitory and the role of dorm supervisor is very important for students in the dormitory. They carry out disciplinary attitudes through congregational prayers, Implementation of the Ma'had program through the Tsaqafah Islamiyah program, the Tahsin program and the Dormitory program. The ma'had program is very beneficial for students, because undergoing activities in a dormitory is like living in an Islamic boarding school. Surely, it really helps them in doing good things, especially in worship to get closer to the Khaliq and many other positive things that students get during this program. They can manage their time in discipline.

Character education as an effort designed to systematically and continuously to form the personality of students based on noble norms which are upheld highly by society. Cultural factors and social environment including religious values, norms, socio-cultural changes, and the goals or expectations to be achieved which reflected in the social interaction relationship is potentially have an effect and contribution to the character development of students. Therefore, the family-based and the local Islamic wisdom character education should become the main focus from the beginning or from the early childhood. Character values that can be developed include obedient attitudes and behaviors in implementing the values of religion, honesty, discipline, environmental care, social care, and values oriented to the development of noble character. Teachers and education personnels play an important role in stimulating the development of the character and personality of early childhood.

This study aims to determine the implementation of special character education on the impact for students and school components at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Insan Cendekia Gorontalo. This research method is a qualitative field research. Data collection was carried out through preliminary or pre-observational studies, observations, and interviews. The characters developed in this madrasa include disciplined, religious, polite, responsible, hard work and cooperation. In other words, this character development is carried out in the madrasah program of activities both through learning, as well as extra ¬ curricular as well as religious and self-development activities. The impact of the results of the implementation of character education at MAN Insan Cendekia Gorontalo has a positive impact for all groups, especially for students and the school community. The impact of character education for school components. The implementation of character education at MAN Insan Cendekia Gorontalo is very beneficial for students, due to changes in attitudes that are even better and according to the expectations of parents, where their children live disciplined, productive, independent and able to practice religious teachings.

Character is the way ot thinking and behaving every person in their living, such as in the family, community, and nation. Person who have good character are individuals who can make decisions, consistant, and consequence with their attitude and behavior. The reasons show that a character education needs to be invested as early as possible anticipate all of future problem. In biology learning, students can train responsibility value, care to environtment and conservation effort. The education taught in Islam is an education that is based on faith and Taqwa. Student's personality will be created and colored by through a process of socialization in his life that takes place in the form of school culture, and interaction with his teachers. The purpose in this study is: (1) To describe  the role of teacher in character building of student at mts mathla'ul anwar sukamaju? (2) To describe  the development program can form a cultural character in MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Sukamaju? (3) To analyse the school's activities Program affect the formation of student characters in MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Sukamaju? dan (4) To analyse the effective program to form the character of students in MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Sukamaju. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach that aims to find out objectively the role of teacher and school culture in character building of student at mts mathla'ul anwar. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire, interview, observation and documentation. The results of his research are: The role of  MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Sukamaju's teacher greatly shapes the character of a good student that is able to carry out their duties well by becoming an educator, instructor and at the same time a supervisor. School culture influences the formation of the character of their students where the environment holds the moral of students, the character education program policy at MTs Mathla'ul Anwar has carried out a character education planning by preparing a strategic plan that contains the vision and mission as well as the objectives. and the impact of the successful management of character education was felt by MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Sukamaju increasing the confidence of parents sending their children to this school. Secondly, the growing number of graduates that are acceptable in the Community environment.

This study investigates family perceptions of character education and social emotional learning in PBS Kids educational media programming.  Interview transcripts of parents and their children were analyzed to investigate their perceptions of the media programming and the impact it has on character development and social emotional well-being.  This study indicates that many parents who were exposed to PBS in their youth and are returning to PBS for foundational support when in raising their children. The wholesome messages depicted on PBS shows, like Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, are helping parents teach their children about complex topics, such as how they feel, what they value, and cleanliness in the home. This assistance, in turn, enables parents to have conversations that help their children thrive, and foster a healthy and supportive parental/child relationship.

This paper presents a reflective study on people character development efforts using G*GOLD (Greatness, Gratitude, Obedience, Love, and Discipline)  Approach. This study focuses on the reflection of how G*GOLD Approach has contributed to the people character development and this aims at describing the potential impact to contribute to people character development. It has been found out that this approach potentially makes contribution to people character development. Therefore, it is suggested that a further scientific research on the G*GOLD Approach in developing people character for the benefit of the Nation character building is conducted.

ABSTRACT The current state of corruption should encourage every citizens of the nation, all parties, the leaders of the nation, law enforcement officials, educators and religious leaders, to focus their attention to character building. Character development should be established as part of the national strategy to improve nation’s life. The study begins from my concern about the backwardness of character education in Indonesia. The article concludes that to be successfull, character development should include the participation of three important institutions of social life: family (informal), school (formal) and community (nonformal) so as to create sustainability and harmonization. Keywords: Character nation, Young Generation, Formal Education, Informal Education, Nonformal Education. ABSTRAK Merajalelanya korupsi menandai bahwa persoalan pendidikan karakter bangsa harus menjadi perhatian semua pihak, pemimpin bangsa, aparat penegak hukum, pendidik dan tokoh-tokoh agama, golongan dan lain sebagainya. Pembangunan karakter harus dibentuk. Latar belakang penulisan, dari keprihatinan penulis tentang persoalan yang dihadapi bangsa Indonesia dalam hal pendidikan karakter bangsa. Dari hasil analisis dan pembahasan, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa pembangunan karakter bangsa jika ingin efektif dan utuh mesti menyertakan tiga institusi, yaitu keluarga (informal), sekolah (formal) dan masyarakat (nonformal) sehingga tercipta kesinambungan dan harmonisasi.
