Local wisdom-based science learning modules are one of the science learning models that are oriented to the integration of the values of community local wisdom into science learning material. The aim of the study was to develop a science learning module based on the local wisdom of Sembalun Village to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of junior high school students. The research is a development research with a 4-D model design consisting of 4 stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research instruments included local wisdom observation sheets, expert validation sheets, learning comprehension observation sheets, cognitive learning outcomes tests, and student response questionnaire sheets. Data collection techniques used is local wisdom observation techniques, validation, observation, tests, and questionnaires. The results of the study stated that the interview results obtained a total score of 62% with good categories. The modules that have been developed are then validated by 2 expert lecturers, with an average score of 3.70 with valid / non-revised categories. Implementation of learning (RPP) with an overall average score of 89.9% with a very good category. Cognitive learning outcomes of students in the small scale readability test with the N-Gain value of 0.36 with the medium category. Response of students with an overall average score of 3.47 in the good category. The low learning outcomes of students on geometry may be due to the unavailability of GeoGebra software assisted learning modules. This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of a GeoGebra software assisted learning module on the theory of flat-faced 3D shapes. This study consists of three phases, which are preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The test subjects are the students of a junior high school in Aceh Selatan. The research instruments cover student activity sheets, formative test sheets, student response questionnaires, and observer response questionnaires.  The results show that the learning module satisfies the effectiveness criteria. These results are supported by very good student activities, improvement in students’ score of formative test, and positive responses of the students and teachers on the learning module.

The use of modules in learning aims so that students can learn independently without or with the guidance of the lecturer. There is no teaching material as a learning guide that meets the needs of students in IT-based mathematics learning courses in the form of LKM, Modules or textbooks. This study aims at finding and examining further the response of students to ICT-based mathematics learning modules. The form of this research is descriptive research. The research subjects of the even semester students are 2018/2019 in ICT-based mathematics learning courses. The instrument used was a student response questionnaire. Data collection techniques using a Likert scale through Google Form. The data was processed using Microsoft Excel 2010. The results showed that student’s responses to the ICT-based mathematics learning module as a whole were positive with an average on the material Aspects, the Interest Aspects of the module and the Module Aspects respectively of 92, 42%, 87 % and 93, 16%.. Thus it can be concluded that ICT-based mathematics learning using modules can be applied.

Cats can be easily stressed in a clinical (training) setting and may show unpredictable reactions and patterns of defensive aggression. This can be a complicating factor in undergraduate veterinary training. Inexperienced veterinary students can evoke defensive feline behavior that negatively affects learning outcomes and animal welfare. As a result, restraint techniques and physical examination of cats was hardly practiced in pre-clinical training at Utrecht University. To overcome this, a new blended learning module was developed using a lecture on feline behavior; e-learning modules about feline behavior, handling, restraint, and physical examination skills; and redesigned practical sessions in which live animals and manikins were used. The aim of this study was to investigate how students’ perceptions of competence and confidence changed regarding feline behavior, handling, restraint, and physical examination skills after the new module was implemented. Questionnaires were used for quantitative analysis, and focus groups were used for qualitative analysis. The results show that compared with students who followed the standard module, students who participated in the blended learning module scored higher in feeling confident with handling animals, feeling competent to perform physical examination on cats, and ability to assess whether a cat is stressed. Students with less experience with cats were more likely to show improvement in assessing a cat’s stress level than students who had much experience with cats. The results demonstrate that the blended learning module improves students’ learning outcomes regarding feline skills training and adds to reduction, refinement, and replacement of the use of live cats.

The statistics of physics education are compulsory course with a lot of material descriptions so the lectures must be assisted by the use of teaching materials. The lectures of statistics of physics education that took place in the July-December 2017 semester illustrates that: 1) teaching materials are less attractive to students, 2) the assignments given are quite clear and sufficient in accordance with the level of thinking of students, 3) materials delivered by the lecturer is in accordance with the targets in the syllabus with some material is still abstract, 4) the lecture have been pursued in accordance with the syllabus but the methods used have not varied and 5) students learn material of statistic of physics education only from the lecturer explanation so that only a few students can answer statistical problems quickly and correctly. This indicates that it is need provided teaching materials with a cooperative problem solving model. The author has tried to design teaching materials of statistic of physics education with cooperative problem solving models with very valid criteria according to the assessment of six experts with educational qualifications of statistics and physics education. However, this teaching material has not been tested at normal conditions in the lectures so that the level of practicality has not been revealed. The aim of this study was to determine the practicality level of educational statistical teaching materials containing cooperative problem solving models according to users, namely lecturers and students who listed in the course. Type of research is research and devel-opment with the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model stands for Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluation. This research is part of the Implementation stage where development products are implemented in real terms so that the level of practicality can be measured with indicators of ease of use, attractiveness and efficiency. Data collection used student response questionnaires and lecturer response questionnaires with a Likert scale. Data analysis used descriptive statistic analysis techniques. The results showed that teaching materials of physics education statistics had very practical criteria (lecturers opinion) and practical (students opinion). The conclusion of this study is the teaching materials of statistic of physics education with cooperative problem solving model has been practically used in lectures

This research is motivated by the important of statistics, especially in the economics. Therefore, students must know economic statistics. The reality shows that students' ability in economic statistics  is still low. In order that this problems can be solved, a learning module that can help students in studying economic statistics is required. Therefore, in this research the  learning module based on constructivism was selected. This research aims to develop learning module based on constructivism in economic statistics courses. This research is a development research with the ADDIE  model. The subject is students of the Islamic Economics Department, Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, IAIN Kerinci. This research used two instruments: validation sheets and student response questionnaires. Based on the data analyse, it is found that:  1) The learning module based on constructivism was valid in terms of material, appearance, and constructivism, 2) The learning module based on constructivism wast practical in terms of usefulness, attractiveness, and efficiency with a proportion of 85%
