The ornamental plant program is one of the programs launched by the Palopo City government, including in Battang Village. The Mandiri Women Farmers Group is one of the groups involved in this program. However, over time, the motivation and interest of group members in this program has diminished because of government assistance. The purpose of this community service activity is to help the Mandiri Women Farmers Group to build a difficult crop business to get help from the government. The service team used the asset-based community development model (ABCD) in this activity. From the results of the activities carried out, make changes to the target group. The Mandiri Women Farmer Group is no longer active in waiting for help from the government. However, they are now more active in running their businesses. In addition, they are actively building networks with stakeholders to expand their businesses.

AbstractEmbroidered craft in Indonesia is believed to be carried by many traders from China and India who carry out lots of buying and selling transactions in Indonesia, that's when these traders began to introduce embroidery crafts and their techniques. One of the leading industrial sectors is handmade products in the form of embroidery craft where initially in Probolinggo there was a center for embroidery industry but after the monetary crisis occurred in Indonesia since 1998 many craftsmen could not survive due to the high raw materials and the lack of buyers and the inability of craftsmen to reach other markets, leaving only a few that still exist today. This Community Service Activity Partner is Rizza Bordir. To achieve this goal, theCommunity Service activities are carried out using the Participatory Rural Appraisal Model (PRA), Community Development Model, through Persuasive and Educational Approaches. The results of this activity concluded that: Solving financial problems experienced by partners is to make software software, 2) Creation of new markets through online media in the form of Websites, Youtube, and Social Media is done by re-uploading files and images on IG, Facebook, Update Youtube Appearance and Start looking for Subsribe by promoting it through WA groups and Facebook, and Giving Hastage #RizzabordirProbolinggo so that the media will start to know Rizza Embroidery and can be read by Google.com and 3) That the help of tools in the form of Machines and E-commerce is expected to be maximized by Partners to be able to develop their business and increase turnover.Keywords: Rizza Embroidery, Handmade, E-Commerce

<p><em>This study examines the problem most basic health problem for children in Indonesia today is in their growth and development, in other words, it is a problem of stunting. The government has made various efforts to prevent stunting, one of which is specifically intervening in child nutrition. In order to support government programs, we carry out a community service activity with the aim of detecting and detecting children's nutritional development. The Banjarnegara City Government has detected that 29% of children are still affected by stunting. By involving local health workers totaling 35 cadres in these activities. In the process of implementing the activity, it is divided into 3 terms in one day, while the methods used are counseling, discussion and practice. Based on the results of the activity, the cadres experienced an increase in quality. Previously, knowledge of health cadres was only in the range of 37.14%, but after participating in the activity, there was a significant increase of 80%. Likewise, there was an increase (p = 0.000; α &lt;0.05) since this intervention. The recommendation is that there should be activities like this on an ongoing basis and if necessary, early detection of stunting.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p>­Penelitian ini mengkaji permasalahan kesehatan pada anak di Indonesia yang paling mendasar saat ini adalah pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya, dengan kata lain ini adalah masalah stunting. Pemerintah telah melakukan berbagai upaya dalam menangani stunting ini, salah satunya mengintervensi gizi anak secara spesifik. Dalam rangka mendukung program pemerintah, kami melakukan suatu kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan tujuan mendeteksi sekaligus mendeteksi perkembangan gizi anak. Pemerintah Kota Banjarnegara mendeteksi adanya 29 % anak masih terdampak stunting. Dengan melibatkan tenaga kesehatan setempat berjumlah 35 kader dalam kegiatan tersebut. Pada proses pelaksanaan kegiatan terbagi menjadi 3 termin dalam satu hari, adapun metode yang digunakan yakni penyuluhan, diskusi dan praktek. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan, kader mengalami peningkatan kualitas. Sebelumnya pengetahuan tenaga kesehatan hanya pada kisaran 37,14%, namun setelah mengikuti kegiatan mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan 80%. Begitu juga, terjadi peningkatan (p = 0,000; α &lt; 0,05) semenjak adanya intervensi ini. Rekomendasinya adalah perlu adanya kegiatan seperti ini secara berkelanjutan dan bila perlu adanya pendeteksian stunting sejak dini.</p>

The Covid-19 pandemic has made children even more interested in playing gadgets. The purpose of this community service activity is to reduce and change the dependence of early childhood on modern games, especially games on gadgets or smartphones. The method used was Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) by involving the Bait Kata community to design the concept of a literacy village, Karang Taruna to help socialize activities, and Dasa Wisma group to design UMKM and tourism awareness groups in Tebel Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. This community service activity develops the concept of learning and playing traditional games in one place that is integrated between playing, learning and becoming a center for educational tourism for children. The expected output targets include making the literacy village a center for children's educational tourism in Sidoarjo and improving the welfare of the surrounding community through educational tours. The result achieved in this program is the establishment of a reading terrace where children learn various knowledge from textbook and novel sources to foster children's interest in reading and writing, as well as traditional games such as stilts, clogs, and congklak (a playing board with two parallel rows of circular depression) that train interaction, cooperation, empathy, and children’abilities at mathematics. For the surrounding community, this service has helped empower the community's economy through UMKM in the field of traditional games and food called Kampung Literasi culinary corner. Teras Baca and UMKM center have been integrated and are ready to become an educational tourism destination of Kampung Literasi Tebel Barat.

ABSTRAKTujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pelatihan  kepada petani sayuran melalui teknik meramu media berbasis standar budidaya pertanian yang baik atau “Good Agriculture Practices”, dan sekaligus  memperkenalkan konsep budidaya sayuran melalui pemanfaatan pupuk organik yang ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan PKM  ini  dilaksanakan dengan  metode pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) dengan melibatkan anggota kelompok tani, ketua kelompok tani, Penyuluh Pertanian setempat, ketua dan anggota Karang Taruna, tokoh masyarakat dan beberapa staf desa. Hasil kegiatan PKM ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang teknik pembuatan pupuk organik dari berbagai limbah pertanian untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah dan meramu media tanam untuk meningkatkan produksi sayuran organik. Secara umum, peserta PKM  sangat antusias dan memberikan respon yang positif terhadap materi yang disampaikan dan bersedia menerapkan penggunaan pupuk organik  ramah lingkungan tersebut dalam teknik budidaya sayuran organik dilahan pertaniannya. Di akhir sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini peserta berharap dapat diberikan pendampingan secara berkelanjutan dari mahasiswa KKN Universitas Mataram. Kata kunci : inovasi;  pupuk organik;  sayuran;  nilai ekonomis. ABSTRACTThe objective  of this Community Service Activity (PKM) is to increase knowledge and training to vegetable farmers through the technique of combining various waste material as plant growth media based on good agricultural cultivation standards or "Good Agriculture Practices", and at the same time introduce the concept of vegetable cultivation through the use of Environmentally Friendly organic fertilizers. This Community Service Activity is carried out by Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach method by involving members of farmers groups, farmers group chairmen, local Agricultural Extension, chairmen and members of Karang Taruna, community leaders and some village staff. The results of this PKM activity showed that there was an increased understanding of participants understanding of organic fertilizer manufacturing techniques from various agricultural wastes to increase soil fertility and concoct planting media to increase organic vegetable production. In general, PKM participants are very enthusiastic and give a positive response to the material delivered and are participants are willing to apply the use of environmentally friendly organic fertilizers in organic vegetable cultivation techniques in their farms. At the end of this socialization and training participants hope to be provided with ongoing assistance from KKN students of Mataram University. Keywords: innovation; organic fertilizers; vegetables; economic value.

India is a rich country with various traditional practices like handicrafts which are ever glorious. Patachitra artisan community in West Bengal is famous globally for its quality paintings. The present study has examined the livelihood alternative among the Patachitra artisan communities in Bengal in India. Descriptive research design is used in this study, and data were collected using a structured interview schedule and participatory rural appraisal method. The study found that the artisans were entirely dependent upon handcraft and its allied activities for their livelihood. Their income, as well as saving, had been increased after getting an artisan card. The study also found that the artisans were not aware of the government`s various welfare schemes and facilities.

Pademi global Covid-19 telah menyebar ke banyak Negara dan benua, termasuk Indonesia. Salah satu Provinsi yang menerapkan PSBB dalam mengurangi dampak penyebaran Covid-19 adalah Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Dalam penangaanannya tidak hanya bisa dilakukan oleh Pemerintah sendirian dan mesti melibatkan berbagai element masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi di lingkungan masing-masing. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat melalui partisipasi komunitas peduli warga terdampak Covid-19 di Nagari Pulakek Koto baru Kecamatan Sungai Pagu Kabupaten Solok Selatan.  Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, edukasi dan pengumpulan serta penyerahan donasi kepada warga terdampak. Hasil kegiatan yaitu terlaksananya persiapan pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu pertemuan dengan wali nagari, relawan desa dan perwakilan komunitas peduli. Pengumpulan donasi yang berasal dari warga peduli sebanyak  Rp. 6.000.000.- dan penyerahan paket sembako kepada warga terdampak  sebanyak 60 paket sembako kepada 60 kepala keluarga terdampak yaitu 56 KK dari warga sekitar komplek perumahan bukit pematang permai Jorong Mantirai Indah dan 4 KK berasal dari luar Jorong Mantirai Indah namun sehari-sehari bekerja di keluarga yang tinggal di Perumahan Bukit Pematang Permai. Bantuan diserahkan seminggu sebelum Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1441 H sehingga terasa sangat bermanfaat bagi warga terdampak.  Disamping penerahan donasi juga dilakukan edukasi dan sosialisasi kepada warga terdampak tentang pentingnya mematuhi protocol kesehatan.       Kata kunci: Partsipasi, Peduli Warga Terdampak, Covid-19  ABSTRACT The Covid-19 global academy has spread to many countries and continents, including Indonesia. One of the provinces that have implemented the PSBB in reducing the impact of the spread of Covid-19 is West Sumatra Province. The handling is not only done by the Government alone and must involve various elements of society to participate in their respective environments. This community service activity aims to empower the community through community participation in caring for residents affected by Covid-19 in Nagari Pulakek Koto baru, Sungai Pagu District, South Solok Regency. Methods of implementing activities include socialization, education and collection and delivery of donations to affected residents. The result of the activity is the implementation of preparations for the implementation of activities, namely meetings with the village guardian, village volunteers and representatives of the caring community. The collection of donations from caring residents is Rp. 6,000,000.- and the handover of 60 basic food packages to the affected residents to 60 affected families, namely 56 families from residents around the Jorong Mantirai Indah Pematang hill housing complex and 4 families from outside Jorong Mantirai Indah but working daily in family who live in Bukit Pematang Permai Housing. The aid was handed over a week before Idul Fitri 1441 H, so it was very beneficial for the affected residents. Apart from distributing donations, education and outreach was also carried out to affected residents about the importance of complying with health protocols. Human conflict with wildlife is a complex problem because it isn’t only related to human safety but also with the safety of wildlife itself. Conflicts that have occurred have pushed the Government of Aceh, District/City Government and related parties to be more wise in understanding the lives of wild animals so that the handling and prevention measures can be optimized and based on the root of the problem. For this reason, a legal protection is needed in the form of a qanun which is expected to be able to integrate all available resources to protect wildlife in Aceh. The method of implementation in community service is to get involved with the expert team Commission II DPRA in drafting the Qanun of Wildlife Management until finally the qanun was ratified on 27 September 2019 and then promulgated to be Qanun on 29 October 2019. The participation of the authors in the drafting of the draft qanun of wildlife includes part of the process of forming the qanun, including starting from the stages of planning, drafting, and discussion. While the stages of ratification or stipulation, enactment and dissemination are carried out by the DPRA and the Government of Aceh itself in accordance with their respective duties, functions and authorities.

Ilomata Village is one of the villages in Gorontalo District which has the potential of banana farming commodities, but it has not been utilized optimally. The aim of this community service activity are empowering the Ilomata Village PKK group through training activities for making various flavors of banana chips, simple bookkeeping training and product marketing training. The method applied is training and mentoring, whose activities include 1) Training in making various flavored banana chips; 2) Simple bookkeeping training; 3) Product marketing training; and 4) Mentoring in determining the name of the product, making packaging labels, and handling PIRT distribution permit. The results of the activity showed that the PKK group members understood and had skills in making banana chips with various flavors, doing simple bookkeeping and marketing the product. The availability of a banana chip product named banana chips I-Bas (Ilomata-Banana chips) with No. distribution license for PIRT 214750201001324 and has been marketed both offline and online. Thus, the empowerment of the PKK groups through banana chips entrepreneurship can increase the utilization of the potential of the banana commodity in line with the increased understanding and skill of PKK group members in making and marketing various flavored banana chips products.

The capacity of the isolation room at the hospital appointed by the Government to treat Covid-19 patients is no longer able to accommodate the positive Covid-19 patients. Positive Covid-19 patients with no symptoms or other signs of worsening physical conditions are advised to do self-quarantine and isolation independently. This self-quarantine/isolation becomes a problem especially in densely populated settlements, especially informal settlements. The case study on this community service activity is an informal settlement located along the Surabaya railroad. Together with the Surabaya ARKOM team as partners, this community service activity conducting field observations with the results that there are still many poor house conditions in this area, the conditions of the houses are tight and not fulfilled the standards of a healthy house, which causes a larger potential spread of Covid-19 virus and makes it impossible to carry out self-isolation in their each homes. The solution offered is to create a communal isolation room module as an emergency isolation room for informal village communities during a pandemic or can be used in other certain emergency conditions with a participatory design method that meets health standards for isolation rooms designed with the easy and fast module applications process. The purpose of this activity is to provide a set of modules for communal quarantine units as prototypes that can be made by the community with a simple system, easily available materials, fast and prioritizing community participation in its assembling.   Abstrak: Kapasitas ruang isolasi di Rumah Sakit yang ditunjuk Pemerintah untuk merawat pasien Covid-19 sudah tak mampu menampung membeludaknya pasien positif Covid-19. Pasien positif Covid-19 yang belum mengalami atau bahkan yang tidak menunjukkan gejala penurunan kondisi fisik, dianjurkan untuk melakukan karantina dan perawatan secara mandiri. Karantina secara mandiri ini menjadi tantangan tersendiri untuk permukiman padat penduduk, terutama permukiman informal. Menjadi studi kasus pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah permukiman informal yang berada di tepi kereta api. Bersama tim ARKOM Surabaya sebagai mitra melakukan observasi lapangan dengan hasil menunjukkan bahwa kondisi rumah yang memprihatinkan masih banyak terdapat di area ini, kondisi rumah berdempetan dan tidak sesuai standar rumah sehat inilah yang menyebabkan potensi besar penularan Covid-19 dan tidak memungkinkan untuk melakukan isolasi mandiri di rumah masing-masing. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah membuat modul ruang karantina komunal sebagai ruang karantina darurat bagi masyarakat kampung informal pada masa pandemi atau kondisi darurat tertentu dengan metode desain partisipatif yang memenuhi standar kesehatan untuk sebuah ruang karantina yang didesain dengan proses aplikasi modul yang mudah, murah dan cepat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan modul unit karantina komunal sebagai prototype yang dapat dibuat sendiri oleh masing-masing kampung padat penduduk dengan sistem yang sederhana (portable), material mudah didapat, cepat dan mengedepankan usaha partisipatif masyarakat dalam pembuatannya.

The purpose of this service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of breeders in Marga Agung Village, Jati Agung Subdistrict, South Lampung Regency regarding various types of forage, compiling ration formulations based on local feed, and processing feed from agricultural waste. The main issues that become priority are (1) the ability of breeders to prepare beef cattle feed rations; (2) utilization of feed processing technology to improve the nutritional quality of animal feed; and (3) livestock businesses that have not been able to boost the farmer economy. Through the Participatory Rural Appraisal method, this activity was able to increase the knowledge and skills of breeders in preparing local feed-based ration formulations and processing feed from agricultural waste.
