Implementation of learning models by high school teachers in the time of covid-19 with the school of students in the City of Lhokseumawe

The learning model is a conceptual framework that is used as a guide in carrying out learning activities. With the use of models, learning can be more directed, easy to understand, and mastered by students. Hence, the use of models in learning must be in accordance with the theory being taught, the goals to be achieved, and the environment and students must also be considered. In addition, the model used must also be fully controlled by the teacher. If these factors are not considered, the final result will not be as expected. Problems arise, students do not want to learn, the learning atmosphere is uncomfortable, the teacher is also uncomfortable in teaching, so that the students' grades are not optimal. Therefore, in this study, Researchers want to see how the model is applied by teachers, especially Indonesian language subject teachers, as well as the Covid-19 period with student final grades (UNAS). The method used in this research is qualitative method. Researchers will describe the final results of the study, then draw a conclusion. In collecting data, researchers used observation, interview, and documentation study techniques. Observations here, are not only observations in the classroom, but also researchers make observations of other facilities and infrastructure. Through this research, it is hoped that (1) there will be an image as a reference material for related agencies in making policies to improve the quality of education, (2) a reference for other educators on the application of an effective model, and (3) find the latest learning models that might be found in this study. Then, the results of this research are also targeted to be published in national seminars and journals.

This research aims to analyse the impact of motivation and perception of the society on the quality of education in Enggano island: one of the 111 outermost islands in Indonesia. Despite lacking of supporting facilities is still a main problem of education in Enggano, non-physics (motivation and perception) data are expected to provide alternative solution. Data in this research was collected by using semi-open questionnares to all qualified respondents. 579 quetionnaires in total were fulfilled by six categories of respondents: the students of elementary-, junior- and senior high school, teachers, parents, and the village leaders. Our results show that the motivation of students in Enggano is sufficiently high: 78 out of 100, while the perception of parents and teachers to education is on the medium level: 65 out of 100. The village leaders have graded the quality of education in Enggano on 5.6+0.17 out of 10. Besides of the medium level on perception, a low integrity among the teachers also contributed to the backwardness of eduaction in Enggano.MOTIVATION AND PERCEPTION OF ENGGANO ISLAND COMMUNITIES ON EDUCATION. The performance of school teachers be one of the important factors in improving theschools quality. Certified teachers in Ibtidaiyah Elementary School of Muhammadiyah SudungBlora include planning and implementation of education quality development has been carriedout effectively and efficiently. It is characterized by the realization of the development of theimplementation of learning and learning outcomes in accordance with the vision and missionof the madrassa. support Factor in improving education quality management are 1) Availabilityof adequate learning media and support ongoing learning activities; 2) The interest andenthusiasm of students is increasing in participating in learning activities; 3) Preparation ofteachers in teaching is increasing; 4) The climate in the classroom learning environment moreconducive; 5) There is full support of the school community, society, and government; 6) Suppliedfacilities for picking up the students to and from school by teachers. Inhibiting factors inimproving the quality of education management in MI Muhammadiyah Sudung are 1) Lackof facilities to support the library and its contents; 2) Many teachers who are still miss match(not in accordance with the latest science education qualifications); 3) Lack of infrastructureeg. UKS room, and laboratory, so it is still a hard time in learning practices.Keywords: teacher performance; certification; management quality; education.Abstrak: Kinerja guru disekolah menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkanmutu sekolah. Guru bersertifikasi di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Sudung KabupatenBlora meliputi perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pengembangan mutu pendidikan telahdilakukan secara efektif dan efisien. Hal ini ditandai dengan terwujudnya pengembanganpelaksanaan pembelajaran dan hasil pembelajaran sesuai dengan visi dan misi madrasah. Fakorpendukung dalam meningkatkan manajemen mutu pendidikan ialah 1) Tersedianya mediapembelajaran yang memadai dan menunjang berlangsungnya kegiatan belajar mengajar; 2)Minat dan semangat siswa semakin meningkat dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran; 3)Persiapan guru dalam pembelajaran semakin meningkat; 4) Iklim lingkungan belajar dalamkelas yang semakin kondusif; 5) Adanya dukungan penuh dengan warga sekolah, masyarakat,dan pemerintah; 6) Disediakan fasilitas antar jemput siswa saat berangkat dan pulang sekolaholeh guru-guru. Faktor penghambat dalam meningkatkan manajemen mutu pendidikan di MIMuhammadiyah Sudung ialah 1) Kurangnya fasilitas pendukung perpustakaan beserta isinya;2) Tenaga pengajar masih banyak yang miss match (tidak sesuai dengan kualifikasi ilmupendidikan terakhir); 3) Kurangnya sarana prasarana misalnya ruangan UKS, dan laboratorium, sehingga masih kesulitan saat praktek pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: kinerja guru; sertifikasi; manajemen mutu; pendidikan.

Community service aims to improve the professionalism of teachers in order to become a professional teacher and can advance the quality of education in Indonesia which is currently still relatively low quality. This devotion was held on Thursday, February 18, 2016, in the Hall Regional Chairman of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya. Target communities in this devotion are the primary school teachers in the city of Palangkaraya, the selection of schools that follow the activities carried out at random/random. The method used in this service is to provide training to teachers in elementary school and later held discussions between participants and speakers. Cost of service activities is entirely sourced from Muhammadiyah University APBU Palangkaraya Year 2015. After the implementation of this activity, it can be concluded that the trainees acquire new knowledge or to refresh back the knowledge they already have.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to reveal how the quality of education in this Islamic boarding school is, particularly related to education facilities, curriculum and strategies of education quality improve­ments. This study used the qualitative method. Findings of this study are: first, education infrastructure and facilities are relatively complete and adequate, which are supported by the atmosphere of the Islamic boarding school that is full of simplicity and modesty by habituation in implementing clean and healthy lifestyle. Second, the tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion)-based curriculum compiled by the Islamic boarding school occupies the same degree (equal) to the curriculum prepared by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, so that both tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion) studies and general studi­es have high electability, which is able to increase the quality of education and also generates interest and motivation of the people (parents) to put their children to the Islamic boarding school. Third, education in the Islamic boarding school has a strong independency because it is supported by substantial financial resources.AbstrakTujuan tulisan ini untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana mutu pendidikan di pondok pesantren ini, khususnya berkaitan dengan sarana pendidikan, kurikulum dan sterategi peningkatan mutu pendidik­an. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil temuan studi ini adalah: Pertama, sarana dan fasilitas pendidikan relatif lengkap dan memadai, ini didukung oleh suasana kehidupan pondok pesan­tren yang penuh kesederhanaan dan kebersahajaan dengan pembiasaan menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Kedua, kurikulum yang berbasis tafaqquh fi-al din yang disusun oleh pondok pesantren ini menempati derajat yang sama (equal) dengan kurikulum yang disusun Kementerian Agama, sehinga baik kajian tafaqquh fi al-din maupun pelajaran umum memiliki electabilitas yang tinggi, hal ini mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan sekaligus membangkitkan animo dan motivasi masyarakat (orangtua) untuk memasukkan anaknya ke pesantren ini. Ketiga, penyelenggaraan pendidikan di pon­dok pesantren ini memiliki kemandirian yang kuat, karena didukung oleh sumber dana yang besar.

Exposure to different types of radiation is an integral part of everyday life (e.g. cosmic radiation, radon, medical applications, cell phones, etc.). Therefore, the general public should adequately be informed on the issue from an early age in order to develop a realistic understanding of the associated risks and the necessary safety culture. In this respect, the quality of the related information provided in the school textbooks is of great importance. The present work demonstrates a quantified assessment of high school textbooks regarding the information on different radiation-related topics provided to students. The assessment was carried out based on an anonymous online survey with the participation of a total of 347 high school teachers. According to the results of the survey, the high school textbooks address radiation issues in a sparse, occasional, and fragmentary manner. Moreover, the results indicate that the quality of information they provide was judged as unsatisfactory in terms of scientific correctness, completeness, clarity-comprehensiveness and objectivity. Radiation protection and applications of non-ionizing radiation are the topics that are covered to a lesser extent in the textbooks and curricula evaluated.

Madinah Maarif 10 is one of the nonformal education that operates in the religious field in Malang. In effort to maintain the quality of education and the quantity of students, Madinah established a library and once every year learning activities are held outside the Madinah. Library management is done by Madinah manager helped by students as assistants and supervised by head master of Madinah. To support activites which is done in outside Madinah, it is needed to make small folding table from wood so that light and stay longer.

The leadership of the kiai becomes very important in Islamic boarding school because the development of the quality of pesantren education depends on the competence of the leader, the meaning of the leader here is the kiai or caretaker of the boarding school. This study aims to describe the first role of leadership in improving the quality of education, secondly the leadership of kiai that is effective in improving the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools.This research uses a qualitative method, with a case study in Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation and observation techniques. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative methods and inductive thinking patterns. The purpose is to analyze the data obtained from field objects, and then to be related to relevant theories.The results showed: 1) The role of the kiai in improving quality in the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic boarding school in Malang is as a manager, educator, human resource empowerment, decision maker, attainee of the pesantren, motivator and supervisor. 2) Effective kiai leadership is leadership that builds cooperation with kiai or other institutions, regenerates kiai and builds good relations with the community.

This research aims to determine the role of the head of Madrasah in improving the quality of education in MTs Negeri 4 Kulon Progo, and to help improve the competency of teachers in the learning activities with a real, measurable, controlled, directional program to achieve learning objectives. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are: 1) supervision of the head of the district of the state of the principal of the school 4 Kulon Progo includes education, managerial, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator; 2) The role of quality improvement is done by increasing the professionalism of teachers by giving opportunities to teachers; 3) Factors affecting the implementation of the head of the Madrasah include: the planning, implementation and follow-up that is carried out continuously to the teachers and education personnel.

At present, the application of internet technology in the field of education is very much needed in order to improve the quality and equitable education services. One of them in improving the quality of education is from educators (teachers). The teacher has a very crucial role in the process of teaching and learning. Therefore, the teacher must be able to provide an appropriate method and method so that the classroom atmosphere in PBM becomes enjoyable. The specific purpose of this service is that they are able to understand and properly apply e-learning based learning media. The implementation is held for 2 (two) days, namely: first, the implementation of observation and the introduction process. Then the next day a workshop held on the application of e-learning based  learning media. The result of this dedication is that teachers can apply e-learning based learning models in the teaching and learning process.
