Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan aktivitas belajar SMP Negeri 19 Mataram dengan menggunakan media audio visual program power point. Program ini dapat memudahkan guru dalam menyampaikan konsep IPA, terutama konsep abstrak menjadi konsep yang konkrit sehingga bisa dinalar siswa, misalnya: organisasi kehidupan. Subyek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 47 siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 19 Mataram. Pengambilan data mengunakan metode observasi, lembar tanggapan dan metode tes.penelitian dilakukan dengan dua siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan. Tahapan tiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I, aktifitas siswa pada Proses Belajar Mengajar (PBM) hanya mencapai 51,06%, ketuntasan hasil belajar mencapai 68,77% sedangkan pada siklus II aktifitas siswa pada PBM sudah mengalami peningkatan yaitu mencapai 84,04%, ketuntasan hasil belajar mencapai 84,26%.Kata Kunci: media, aktivitas belajar, powerpoint. Abstract: This study aims to improve learning activities of SMP 19 Mataram students by using audio-visual powerpoint media. The media can facilitate teachers to convey the concept of science, especially the abstract concept into a concrete concept that can be rationalized by students, for example: organization of life. Subjects in this study were 47 students of grade VII of SMPN 19 Mataram. Retrieving data using the method of observation, response sheets and methods tes. This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two sessions. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed that at the first cycle, the student activity in learning process was only 51.06 %, learning outcomes mastery was 68.77 %, while in the second cycle, the students activity wash 84.04 %, learning outcomes mastery was 84.26 %.Key words: media, lerning activity, powerpoint

This study aimed at finding out how the cultural model of berasanan and its implementation in civics learning, as well as knowing how the cultural model of berasanan can increase learning motivation in Secondary School class VII. A South Indralaya. The research was classroom action research (CAR) which done in two cycles. The first cycle was conducted three times and the second cycle was held twice. The subjects of this study were 29 students. The steps of each cycle include planning, action, observation, evaluation and reflection. The data were collected by using test, questionnaire, observation sheet, and documentation methods. The results of the study showed that students’ learning motivation experienced an increase in the learning process from cycle one to the second cycle. Students’ attention during the learning process, cooperation in working on group assignments, students’ participation, and courage to think showed that learning activities are increased. Negative activities of students’ learning civics were asking permission to go to the bathroom. This change showed that the interest and enthusiasm of students’ learning was increased and learning was more effective and enjoyable. Achievement of students’ learning outcomes also showed an increase, students’ learning from the first cycle of 75% increased to 86.2% in the second cycle.

During the learning process students tend to be passive and learning is centered on the teacher, so activity and learning outcomes are low. One of the efforts that can be done is the provision of rewards and punishments during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to increase student activity and learning outcomes through the provision of rewards and punishments. This type of research is classroom action research using a qualitative approach, which is supported by a quantitative approach. This research consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study involved 33 students of class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 8 Padang. Research data obtained through observation sheets, quizzes, learning outcomes tests, and field notes. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on research data in first and second cycles, it shows that the activities and learning outcomes of students have increased. This is indicated by an increase in learning outcomes from 40% in the first cycle to 67% in the second cycle. So, it can be concluded that learning by giving rewards and punishments could increase students' activities and learning outcomes.

This study aims to determine the ability and attitude of students in solving problems after the applicationof learning models inkuiri on paraktikum courses. Research method used is Classroom Action Reasearch (CAR) isdone in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Fromthe research results obtained that the model implemented in the learning lab inkuiri electric base, in general anincrease in the learning process and results of each cycle. Cognitive test results through the pre test and post test onthe cycle I in terms of percentage of students who reach the value of > 0% 6 is increased to 94.875%, in cycle IIincreased from 6.25% to 93.375%, and the third cycle of 3.125% increase to 100%. The results of the task undertakenby the students increased each cycle. Then for the activity sheets teachers viewed from the observation activitycategory shows an increase of the cycle is the cycle I and II into either category III cycle. For student activity showsmost categories of cycle I and cycle II rose to the category in general the third cycle. Impressions and attitudes ofstudents through filling the questionnaire stated that by applying the learning model inkuiri conditions become moreactive class, students become able to appear in her opinions.

This study aims to find out: (1) Student learning activities in IPS (Social Sciences) learning on the application of scramble learning model using puppet hero media (Puppet Heroes), and (2) Improvement of IPS learning outcomes after application of learning model of scramble using media of wayang heroes. Data collection using observation and test, while for data analysis technique using the analysis technique of classical and individual completeness. From the research result, it can be concluded that: (1) learners are more active in IPS learning on the application of scramble learning model by using puppet hero media, students play an active role, motivated, cooperate with increasing concentration and speed of thinking during learning process in cycle I. the observation of teacher activity on the learning process conducted by observer I and observer II during social science learning process (IPS) in cycle I average aspects of teacher activity is 3.63 with very good criteria and the average aspects of the activities of learners that is 3.37 with good criteria, and (2) There is an increase in learning outcomes of IPS learners after the application of the model of learning scramble using the media of wayang heroes. This is indicated by the results of learning seen through the average scores of classes in the first cycle is 80.21 with the criteria achieved and meet the KKM 70, reaching the percentage of learning mastery learners classically that is 100%, with 85% classical completeness.

The purposeofthis studyis: to describethe use ofexperimental method sin enhancingthe activity oflearning physicsclass VII students of SMPN1Purbolinggoandto describethe use ofexperimentalmethodsin improvingstudentlearning outcomesphysicsclass VII SMP N 1 Purbolinggo.This study uses a Class Action Research and 4-cycle stages: planning, action, observation and reflection for further action. The study lasted 2 cycles each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. As the subjects in this study were VII.F grade students of SMP N 1 Purbolinggo of 40 people. Means of collecting data in the form of sheets of observations and tests. From the analysis and the results of this study concluded that the use of experimental methods in the learning process can improve the activity and student learning outcomes VII.F SMP N 1 Purbolinggo on the material and temperature measurements with an average of 11.56% increase in activity. Average learning outcomes increased by 55%. Thus it can be advisable for teachers to improve the activity and student learning outcomes using experimental methods.

The purpose of this study was to increase student activity and learning outcomes using a problem-based learning model assisted by power point media for third grade students at SDN Pandean Lamper 02 Semarang. The research method used is classroom action research consisting of 3 cycles with 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were third grade students with a total of 30 people. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, tests, and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the average percentage of student activity classically increased. In the pre-cycle before treatment it was 65%, in the first cycle it was 70%, in the second cycle it was 74% while in the third cycle it was 87%. While the percentage of mastery learning outcomes in the pre-cycle is 37%, in the first cycle it is 57%, in the second cycle it is 73%, while in the third cycle it is 90%. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that learning in Theme 8 using a problem-based learning model assisted by power point media can improve student activities and learning outcomes.

The purpose of this research is to improve science learning outcomes by applying science process skill approach to students of grade V-B SDN 045 Tarakan. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects were 31 students, male students were 16 students and 15 students. This study was conducted in two cycles each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data obtained in this study include observation sheet of teacher activity, student activity, cognitive and psychomotor research. The results of research by applying science process skill approach can improve science learning outcomes in students of grade V-B SDN 045 Tarakan. In cycle I completeness of learning result of cognitive aspect 54,839% to 90,322% in cycle II, psychomotor aspect of cycle I is 64,516% to 100% in cycle. So it can be concluded that the research has been successful and in accordance with success indicators.

Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is a teaching approach that promotes students' involvement in group discussion. This article reports a classroom action research conducted to improve students’ learning acievement in fractions at Grade V SDN 2 Banda Aceh. The participants were students of Class VA which consisted of 34 students, 22 boys and 12 girls. The research was conducted in 2 cycles, each consisted of 4 classroom meetings. The procedure of the research involved four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research questions covered students’ learning activities, students’ learning outcomes, and students’ responses on the implementation of NHT in the teaching of fractions. Results show that there were improvements in students’ learning activity from the average score of 2,57 in cycle 1 to 3,04 in cycle 2. Students’ learning outcomes improved from the average score of 66,30 in cycle 1 to 75,38 in cycle 2. Students’ responses in cycle 1 was 82,35% positive and increased to 88,24% in cycle 2. These results imply that the implementation of NHT is beneficial for students’ learning.

The aim of this research is to find out the improvement of students learning output use cooperative learning teaching type think pair share (TPS). The form of research is the classroom action research consisting of two cycles with the steps of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research is students grade 8 of SMPN 1 Kalis. Quantitative data is taken from the pretest and postest, then is defined the average scores.  The result of this research shows that there is an improvement of average of learning output is 33,75 in the first cycles and then the second cycles is 41,25. The increase of completion of the learning output is the first cycles is 90,63 %, while the second is 93,75 %. The observation result of the learning prosess showed that the students learning activities improved and it affected the students learning output. The learning process use cooperative learning model with think pair share type is expected to be used by physics teachers to teach. AbstractThis research was a classroom action research (PTK) with the presentation of data and descriptions kuantitatif. Qualitative research descriptions was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four phases: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data learning process of each cycle were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The data were analyzed descriptively learning outcomes kuantitatif.Subjek this research is class VIII totaling 16 orang.Tindakan given is intended to determine the increase in the learning process and learning outcomes in cycle I. As for the second cycle in the form of corrective actions against deficiencies experienced in cycle I. Results of the data analysis of the results of the study in the first cycle and the second cycle is concluded that, teaching intensive reading in class VIII SMP-I Guppi Samata Gowa by using SQ4R method can improve the learning process and learning outcomes intensive reading. Conclusions based on these results, the researchers suggested to the teachers to always use the methods that can stimulate students' attention so that the students were interested in learning. For other researchers and students who pursue teaching Indonesian language and literature are expected to conduct research in the areas of reading by using other methods, as well as in intensive reading so it can be found a variety of learning methods that can be used as learning in school.Keywords: Intensive Reading, Methods SQ4R AbstrakPenelitian ini bersifat penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pemaparan data deskripsi kualitatif dan deskripsi kuantitatif.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Adapun data hasil pembelajaran dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 16 orang.Tindakan yang diberikan dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui peningkatan proses pembelajaran dan hasil pembelajaran pada siklus I. Adapun siklus II berupa tindakan perbaikan terhadap kekurangan-kekurangan yang dialami pada siklus I.Hasil analisis data yang dilakukan terhadap hasil penelitian pada siklus I dan siklus II disimpulkan bahwa, pembelajaran membaca intensif pada siswa kelas VIII-I SMP Guppi Samata Gowa dengan menggunkan metode SQ4R dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pada proses pembelajaran dan hasil pembelajaran membaca intensif. Berdasarkan simpulan hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menyarankan kepada guru agar senantiasa menggunakan metode yang dapat merangsang perhatian siswa sehingga siswa merasa tertarik untuk belajar. Bagi peneliti lain dan mahasiwa yang menekuni pengajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia diharapkan melakukan penelitian dalam bidang membaca dengan menggunakan metode lain, demikian pula dalam membaca intensif sehingga dapat ditemukan berbagai metode pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan sebagai pembelajaran di sekolah. Kata Kunci: Membaca Intensif, Metode SQ4R
