Learning media is part of learning resources which is a combination of software (teaching materials) with hardware (learning tools. One type of learning media is e-learning. E-learning is a learning medium that uses the internet to deliver learning materials from teachers to students. One of the e-learning media is edmodo. Edmodo is a learning platform intended for students, teachers and parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the benefits of using edmodo in the learning process of biology. This type of research is a meta-analysis. Meta analysis is collecting and analyzing data from research results from relevant journals. The data were obtained by studying the literature on the articles on Google Scholar using the keywords "learning media", "e-learning", "edmodo" and “validation”. From the results of the search carried out, several articles were found that were in accordance with the research to be carried out and it was concluded that the use of edmodo was included in the valid and very valid category in several aspects such as content aspects, linguistic aspects, study aspects and graphic aspects

Virtual Reading Room (RBV) and Digital Learning Materials (BA Digital) are forms of learning service provided by Universitas Terbuka (UT). RBV and BA digital are digitizations of the Main Material Book (BMP) developed to help students read modules through the internet network. The existence of RBV and BA digital is expected to assist the students learning process, independently, even for students living in  remote area. This study describes the benefits, as well as the limitations of RBV and BA digital according to students perspective from 17 regional office (UPBJJ-UT) in Indonesia and overseas. This study is written using quantitative descriptive approach. The findings shows that  99% of respondents are aware of the existence of RBV and BA digital. Half of the respondents are aware of these two digital teaching materials from UT's website. The 53% respondents studied RBV and BA digital for less than 30 minutes, and more than sixty percent of the respondents accessed and used it during the tutorials.   Ruang Baca Virtual (RBV) dan BA digital merupakan salah satu bentuk layanan belajar yang disediakan oleh Universitas Terbuka (UT). RBV dan BA digital merupakan digitalisasi dari Buku Materi Pokok (BMP) yang dikembangkan untuk membantu mahasiswa membaca modul melalui jaringan internet. Dengan adanya RBV dan BA digital diharapkan dapat membantu proses pembelajaran secara mandiri dan jarak jauh bagi mahasiswa UT. Artikel ini akan memaparkan tentang manfaat RBV dan BA digital dalam perspektif mahasiswa pada 17 UPBJJ-UT (Indonesia dan Luar Negri), sehingga dapat diketahui kelebihan dan kelemahannya. Artikel ini ditulis berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan data yang yang diperoleh diketahui bahwa 99% responden telah mengetahui adanya RBV dan BA digital. Setengah dari jumlah responden mengetahui kedua bahan ajar digital tersebut dari laman website UT. Sebanyak 53% responden mempelajari RBV dan BA digital selama kurang dari 30 menit, dan lebih dari 60 persen responden mengaksesnya saat tutorial.

         The impact of Covid-19 affects aspects of life, one of which is the education aspect. The government makes policies in the education sector by shifting the face-to-face learning process online. Online learning can be done with e-learning media. The type of e-learning that can be used in the learning process is edmodo. Edmodo is a web, iOS and Android-based learning platform that looks like Facebook and is easy to use for beginners. Edmodo-based e-learning media can be used in the online learning process after meeting the eligibility indicators of validity. The validity results can be obtained based on an assessment of the aspects contained in the validity indicator according to the 2008 Ministry of National Education criteria, namely the aspects of feasibility of content, language, presentation and, graphics. Various study findings regarding validity indicators in previous studies are difficult to accumulate in quantitative form. Researchers used meta-analysis methods to obtain validity results that were easily accumulated and systematic, so researchers used 8 relevant articles. Based on the analysis of the 8 articles, the results show that 4 articles have fulfilled the validity criteria according to the Ministry of National Education (2008), namely the aspects of the feasibility of content, language, presentation, and graphics. Meanwhile, 4 other articles have not used the validity criteria according to the 2008 Ministry of National Education This shows that the 8 articles analyzed, only 4 articles met the valid qualifications according to the 2008 Ministry of National Education criteria.

Developments in the Internet and the World Wide Web (WWW) technologies have led to an evolving trend in Electronic learning (e-learning). E-learning is now one of the most fast growing trends in computing and higher education (Ishaya & Wood, 2005) and certainly becoming a dominant way of learning in workplace settings across other organizations (Mungania, 2003). From its initial roots as an information-sharing tool, the Web has seen an exponential growth into a myriad of applications, ranging from very serious e-business to pure leisure environments. Likewise, research into technology support for education has quickly recognized the potential and possibilities for using the Web as a learning tool (Ishaya, Jenkins, & Goussios, 2002). Thus, the Web technology is now an established medium for promoting student learning, and today there are a great many online learning materials, tutorials, and courses supported by different learning tools with varying levels of complexity. It can be observed that there are many colleges and universities, each of which teaches certain concepts based on defined principles that remain constant from institution to institution. This results in thousands of similar descriptions of the same concept. This means that institutions spend a lot of resources producing multiple versions of the same learning objects that could be shared at much lower cost. The Internet is a ubiquitous supporting environment for sharing of learning materials. As a consequence, many institutions take advantage of the Internet to provide online courses (Ishaya et al., 2002; Jack, Bonk, & Jacobs, 2002; Manouselis, Panagiotou, Psichidou, & Sampson, 2002). Many other agencies have started offering smaller and more portable learning materials defined as learning objects (Harris, 1999; POMETEUS, 2002). Common standards for metadata, learning objects, and services are mandatory for the success of Web-based learning, which is why the creation of such standards for learning objects and related standards has being one of focus for research and development within the past few years. This includes the creation of accredited standards from the IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee (LTSC) for Learning Object Metadata (LOM), Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM), Instructional Management System (IMS), and so on. All these metadata models define how learning materials can be described in an interoperable way. There have also been intensive developments in the area of e-learning technology and the wide variety of learning environments from many different vendors (e.g., Sakai, Moodle, and Blackboard). While most of these approaches provide a means for describing, sharing, and reusing resources, the concept of interoperability and heterogeneous access to content chunks is yet to be fully achieved. This results in thousands of similar descriptions of the same concept, even within the same learning management system (LMS), and because these concepts may have been defined using different standards, they are not interoperable. What is required therefore is a mechanism and infrastructure for supporting a interoperable system of individual components that can be assembled by mixing and matching content from multiple sources to satisfy individual learner’s requirements. This research is motivated by the lack of learning resources used by students during the mathematics learning process. Efforts to overcome these problems can be done by developing Edmodo-based e-learning teaching materials. This research aims to develop e-learning teaching materials that are valid, practical, and effective on Probability material. This type of research is development research using the 4-D model. The 4-D stage includes define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results showed that e-learning teaching materials were in the very valid category of 83.78%, the results of practicality with the teacher showed that e-learning teaching materials were in the very practical category of 88.00% and the effectiveness results with students showed that the teaching materials e-learning is in the very good category of 88.79%.

Abstract With the continuous development of the economy, science and technology have achieved unprecedented development along with the improvement of the economy. The first thing to bear is the continuous popularization and application of the Internet, which drives the development of Internet technology. Many online learning platforms currently used by universities only focus on the teacher system and teaching system. Compared with other subjects, there are fewer learning materials on the Internet for gymnastics teaching, and the lack of systematic teaching is the primary problem that most schools need to overcome. The current method of online learning has changed the relatively scarce phenomenon of resources in face-to-face teaching in the past, and has excellent improvements in the organization and improvement of resources. By constructing the framework of a professional teaching resource library, collecting and properly sorting out learning materials, and at the same time designing and producing network multimedia courseware to facilitate the learning of scholars. Network teaching technology is realized by the combination of Internet and multimedia equipment. This technology can not only give play to the advantages of computers in network data transmission, but also embody a new teaching model with teachers and students as the main body. Therefore, adjusting teaching methods, building a better learning space, and using CAI courseware learning resources connected by campus network is an important way for students to make compensatory learning, and it is also the main direction for scientific and technological progress in gymnastics teaching. The experimental results prove that the online multimedia learning platform can provide students with more gymnastics learning resources, increase students' interest and time in learning; it can effectively improve the teaching quality of teachers, and use the convenient interactivity of the network to realize a resource library The rapid update of the content enables the teaching content to keep up with the needs and pace of the development of the times.

Abstract The internet can be made as a way to transfer knowledge from lecturers to students, while Learning that utilizes the internet is one of the E-Learning Learning media. E-learning is distance learning that utilizes computer technology or computer networks or the Internet E-learning, so that it can enable the learning process through computers in their respective places without having to physically go to attend classes or lectures in class, Systems e-learning learning is a new way of teaching and learning. E-learning as a special learning media PAI courses provide a very important role and a large function in the course because so far there are many shortcomings and weaknesses such as the limitations of space and time in the teaching and learning process through E-learning which prioritizes the efficiency of learning so students get full teaching even though they do not have to be face to face, can also be accessed anywhere, anytime, according to the assignments given by the lecturer usually scheduled with a specified deadline. The development of education towards e-learning is a must so that the quality standards of education can be improved, E-learning is one of the uses of internet technology in the delivery of learning and its broad reach. Adapun Pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan internet salah satunya adalah media pembelajaran E-Learning. E-learning adalah pembelajaran jarak jauh (distance learning) yang memanfaatkan  teknologi komputer atau jaringan komputer atau internet E-learning, sehingga dapat  memungkinkan proses pembelajaran melalui komputer di tempat mereka  masing– masing tanpa harus secara fisik  pergi  mengikuti pelajaran atau pun  perkuliahan di kelas,  Sistem pembelajaran e-learning adalah cara baru dalam proses belajar mengajar. E-learning  sebagai   media pembelajaran khususnya mata kuliah PAI memberikan  peran   sangat   penting  dan fungsi yang besar pada mata kuliah tersebut karena selama  ini terdapat banyak  kekurangan  dan kelemahan seperti keterbatasan ruang dan waktu dalam  proses belajar  mengajar melalui E-learning yang  mengedepankan keefisienan dalam belajar sehingga  mahasiswa mendapat pengajaran yang penuh meski tidak harus bertatap muka, juga bisa di akses di mana saja, kapan saja,  sesuai dengan tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen biasanya terjadwal dengan  batas  waktu  yang  di tentukan. Pengembangan  pendidikan menuju e-learning merupakan suatu keharusan agar standar mutu pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan,  E-learning merupakan salah satu penggunaan teknologi internet dalam penyampaian  pembelajaran  serta  jangkauannya yang luas. The availability and use of e-learning resources in the acquisition and transfer of knowledge have been observed as a steering agent that facilitates the realization of major educational benefits in a developing economy. This study investigated the availability, accessibility, and use of e-learning tools by undergraduate students in the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, including the challenges limiting the full exploitation of e-learning resources for optimal usage and efficient e-service delivery. The methodology adopted for this research was purely survey design using the questionnaire approach as the main instrument for data collection. From the findings, limited availability, accessibility and usage of e-learning resources by the undergraduate students were revealed. The findings further showed that the major challenges hindering the effective use of e-learning resources amongst University of Ilorin students include lack of sophisticated e-learning resources such as teleconferencing, video conferencing, virtual classroom among others and high cost in the procurement of facilities that support e-learning. Based on these findings, recommendations are made towards addressing the challenges encountered by students in the utilization of e-learning resources in higher institutions of learning.

The main aim of the AHKME e-learning platform is to provide a system with adaptive and knowledge management abilities for students and teachers. This system is based on the IMS specifications representing information through metadata, granting semantics to all contents in the platform, giving them meaning. In this platform, metadata is used to satisfy requirements like reusability, interoperability and multipurpose. The system provides authoring tools to define learning methods with adaptive characteristics, and tools to create courses allowing users with different roles, promoting several types of collaborative and group learning. It is also endowed with tools to retrieve, import and evaluate learning objects based on metadata, where students can use quality educational contents fitting their characteristics, and teachers have the possibility of using quality educational contents to structure their courses. The learning objects management and evaluation play an important role in order to get the best results in the teaching/learning process.
