The purpose of this research was to find how the first online learning implementation in the Department of Mathematics Education in The Islamic State Institute of Bengkulu during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was qualitative research which was conducted in July as an evaluation of the first online learning from March until July. 90 students were chosen by purposive sampling and then given an online questionnaire. The results showed that there were some mathematical courses students took in the Even Semester 2019/2020. The platforms used by lecturers while teaching Mathematics were 39.6% WhatsApp Group, 22% Google Classroom, 13.2% Cisco Webex, and 25.2 % others. Platforms that were felt effective as online learning applications were 52.7% Cisco Webex, 26.4 % WhatsApp Group, 9.9% Zoom meeting, 5.5% Google Classroom, and 5.5% others. This is felt to be effective because it does not consume a lot of data packages, has a strong signal, and can be accessed at any time (WhatsApp Group and Google Classroom). In addition, this platform can be used for live conferencing / video calls using whiteboards which are deemed effective for teaching math material (Cisco Webex). However, several obstacles were found during the implementation of online learning, namely difficulties in obtaining sufficient internet data packages; limited network; difficult assignments and assessments; less effective teaching methods; and use of multiple applications.

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed face-to-face (offline) learning into online learning. This requires teachers to be able to adapt to utilizing technology-based learning media. Meanwhile, at the same time, teachers are not used to and have not been able to use various technology-based media in learning. One of the media that could be used is the wordwall application. This application is considered suitable because the appearance and operation are quite simple. In addition, this application can also be used as a learning media, a learning resource, and an assessment instrument. Therefore, training activities and mentoring in the implementation of wordwall applications in learning mathematics is one of the important and urgent needs for teachers today, especially in SD Inpres Maulafa, East Nusa Tenggara. This activity is carried out in training and mentoring through the material presentation, discussion, demonstrations and simulations, working in the group, and assistance. This activity showed that the participants were enthusiastic, active, and participative in participating in the training and mentoring. In addition, this activity can help participants overcome problems in designing thematic lessons. This activity can also increase teachers' knowledge about the application of technology to create learning media in the form of innovative elementary mathematics online learning media, namely through technical training in making learning media with wordwall applications in mathematics learning for teachers. Furthermore, this activity has also been able to increase the insight and ability of teachers to implement media in learning activities, namely through assistance in making learning designs using wordwall applications and assistance in implementing (strategy) learning using wordwall media

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran efektivitas pembelajaran daring menggunakan media online selama pandemi covid-19 pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yang fokus pada evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan media online. Populasi penelitian yakni seluruh peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Wajo yang diajar pada mata pelajaran matematika menggunakan metode daring. Sampel penelitian yakni peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Wajo yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan mempertimbangkan homogenitas populasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner pembelajaran daring. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan peserta didik menilai pembelajaran matematika menggunakan media online sangat efektif (23,3%), sebagian besar mereka menilai efektif (46,7%), dan menilai biasa saja (20%). Meskipun ada juga peserta didik yang menganggap pembelajaran daring tidak efektif (10%), dan sama sekali tidak ada (0%) yang menilai sangat tidak efektif. Akhirnya, untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran daring matematika selama pandemi covid-19, maka pendidik harus memenuhi sepuluh saran dari responden, yakni: (1) pembelajaran dilakukan melalui video call; (2) pemberian materi pembelajaran yang ringkas; (3) meminimalisir mengirim materi dalam bentuk video berat untuk menghemat kuota; (4) pemilihan materi dalam video harus berdasarkan kriteria bahasa yang mudah dipahami; (5) tetap memberikan materi sebelum penugasan; (6) pemberian soal yang variatif dan berbeda tiap peserta didik; (7) pemberian tugas harus disertakan cara kerjanya; (8) memberikan tugas sesuai dengan jadwal pelajaran; (9) mengingatkan peserta didik jika ada tugas yang diberikan; dan (10) mengurangi tugas.AbstractThis study aims to describe the effectiveness of online learning during the covid-19 pandemic in mathematics. This descriptive quantitative research focuses on the evaluation of online learning. The population of this study was all the students of SMA Negeri 1 Wajo who were taught mathematics. The research sample is XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Wajo was selected randomly with population homogeneity consideration. Data was collected by using an online learning questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The result showed the presentation on students’ who were assuming learning mathematics was very effective with online learning was 23.3 %, the majority of students who assumed it was effective was 46.7 %, 20% of them assume it was nothing special, 10 % assume it was not effective, and 0% assume it was very ineffective . It also found from the study that to enhance the quality of mathematics online learning during the covid-19 pandemic, the teachers should full fill the respondent recommendations, they are; (1) the learning should be done with video call (2) the contents should be simple; (3) minimize the learning video capacity (4) the language that used in the video should be easy to understand; (5) the content should be explained before giving the task; (6) variety task for each student; (7) the task should come with clear instructions; (8) the task should be on schedule; (9) the task should be reminded to the students; (10) reduces the task.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemandirian belajar matematika siswa selama proses pembelajaran online  kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Jambi yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa yang perlu diteliti secara sistematis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh yang signifikan antara kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Jambi Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 dengan jumlah keseluruhan 251 orang yang terbagi 7 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitia ini berjumlah 154 orang terbagi 7 kelas yang diambil secara random sampling (teknik acak). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pemberian angket dan tes uraian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS 23 terdiri  dari  analisis  deskriptif,  uji  persyaratan  analisis  data,  dan  pengujian  hipotesis. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif diperoleh gambaran kemandirian belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Jambi secara umum termasuk kedalam kategori sedang dengan persentasi 68,18%, skor terendah 41, skor tertinggi 78, rangenya 37, dan gambaran hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Kota Jambi secara umum termasuk kategori sedang dengan persentasi 64,93%, skor terendah 8, skor tertinggi 65, dan rangenya 57. Berdasarkan analisis inferensial terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada pembelajaran online siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Jambi. Kata kunci : Kemandirian Belajar, Hasil Belajar Matematika ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the low independence of students in learning mathematics during the online learning process for class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Jambi City which affects students' mathematics learning outcomes which need to be studied systematically. The purpose of this study was to measure the significant effect of independent learning on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Jambi City for the 2020/2021 academic year with a total of 251 people divided into 7 classes. The sample in this study amounted to 154 people divided into 7 classes taken by random sampling (random technique). Data collection is done by using questionnaires and description tests. Data analysis was carried out using a simple regression test with the help of the SPSS 23 program consisting of descriptive analysis, data analysis requirements test, and hypothesis testing. Based on the descriptive analysis, it was obtained that the learning independence of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Jambi City was generally included in the medium category with a percentage of 68.18%, the lowest score was 41, the highest score was 78, the range was 37, and an overview of the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students in SMP In general, Negeri 2 Jambi City is in the medium category with a percentage of 64.93%, the lowest score is 8, the highest score is 65, and the range is 57. Based on inferential analysis, there is a significant effect of learning independence on mathematics learning outcomes in online learning for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Jambi City. Keywords: Independent Learning, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

During the current pandemic, the development of information and communication technology is very much needed in online learning. The problem in this study is how to describe the level of problem-solving abilities carried out by students in solving math problems on number material during online learning. This study aims to identify the difficulties of seventh grade students of SMP Nurul Chotib Wringinagung in learning mathematics on numbers. The type and approach in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this study were tests, interviews and questionnaires, while data processing used the percentage formula P = × 100%. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the difficulty of grade VII students of SMP Nurul Chotib Wringinagung in number material was the lack of understanding of students in solving problem solving problems, often incorrectly using formulas in solving problems, as well as difficulty distinguishing between planning and implementing plans.   Keywords: difficulties problem solvig, numbers, online learning

<p>The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic requires learning to be done online. That way, the use of technology in the 4.0 era is also needed to be used as an online learning medium. Media that can be used to support online learning are Cisco Webex and educational games such as Quizizz. Observations made by the author of the sixth grade elementary school students show the problem of the lack of active learning of students when participating in online learning. Therefore, the purpose of writing this article is to describe the optimization of online learning media to encourage student learning activities in learning mathematics. The formulation of the problem taken is how to optimize online learning media by teachers in encouraging student learning activities in learning mathematics. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. In addition, in Christian education, teachers must still see each student as the image and likeness of God even though students are less active in participating in online learning. Therefore, teachers still need to pay attention and encourage students to develop and be actively involved in learning. Through the use of Cisco Webex to engage students in discussions and Quizizz to engage students in exercises, students become more active in learning. However, the teacher's efforts have not had an overall impact, so teachers need to understand more about online media and the right features in encouraging student learning activities.</p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: </strong>Dampak dari pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan pembelajaran dilakukan secara online. Dengan begitu, penggunaan teknologi era 4.0 juga diperlukan untuk dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran online. Media yang dapat digunakan sebagai pendukung dalam pembelajaran <em>online </em>adalah <em>Cisco Webex</em> serta game edukasi seperti <em>Quizizz</em>. Pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh penulis terhadap siswa SD kelas VI menunjukkan masalah kurangnya keaktifan belajar siswa saat mengikuti pembelajaran online. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah memaparkan optimalisasi media pembelajaran <em>online</em> untuk mendorong keaktifan belajar siswa di dalam pembelajaran matematika. Rumusan masalah yang diambil adalah bagaimana optimalisasi media pembelajaran <em>online </em>yang dilakukan guru dalam mendorong keaktifan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif.  Selain itu, dalam pendidikan Kristen, guru harus tetap melihat setiap siswa sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah meskipun siswa kurang aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran secara <em>online</em>. Oleh karena itu, guru tetap perlu memperhatikan dan mendorong siswa untuk berkembang dan terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran. Melalui penggunaan <em>Cisco Webex</em> untuk melibatkan siswa dalam diskusi serta <em>Quizizz</em> untuk melibatkan siswa dalam latihan, siswa menjadi lebih aktif mengikuti pembelajaran. Namun upaya guru tersebut belum berdampak secara keseluruhan, sehingga guru perlu memahami lagi media online serta fitur-fitur yang tepat dalam mendorong keaktifan belajar siswa.</p>

<p class="06IsiAbstrak"><span lang="EN-GB">Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana cara mengoptimalisasikan pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) di masa pandemi Covid-19 agar pemahaman siswa terhadap mata pelajaran matematika lebih meningkat. Berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu yang sudah dilaksanakan dilapangan, pengemasan yang menarik dalam menyampaikan materi matematika saat pembelajaran daring menjadi hal yang terpenting dan memang perlu di perhatikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur yang fokus pada penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam penyampaian materinya yaitu menggunakan video interaktif. Berdasarkan analisis literatur dari beberapa jurnal, pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan media berupa video interaktif lebih optimal dan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman matematis siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tanpa media video interaktif, terlebih saat pembelajaran daring berlangsung.</span></p><p class="06IsiAbstrak"><span lang="EN-GB"><br /></span></p><p class="07KatakunciKeywords">The purpose of this study is to describe how to optimize online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic so that students' understanding of mathematics can increase. Based on previous research that has been carried out in the field, attractive packaging in conveying mathematics material during online learning is the most important thing and indeed needs to be paid attention to. This study uses a literature study method that focuses on the use of instructional media in delivering the material, namely using interactive videos. Based on literature analysis from several journals, learning mathematics using media in the form of interactive videos is more optimal and effective in increasing students' mathematical understanding compared to learning without interactive video media, especially when online learning is taking place.</p><p class="06IsiAbstrak"><span lang="EN-GB"><br /></span></p>

AbstrakSelf-esteem merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan siswa dalam pencapaian akademik. Self-esteem yang rendah ditunjukkan oleh sifat siswa yang cenderung malas dan kurang fokus dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat self-esteem siswa kelas XII SMA Majalengka tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Metode penelitian ini kuantitatif melalui pengambilan data terkait self-esteem siswa. Adapun sampelnya ialah 72 siswa dari kelas XII IPS. Hasil penelitian saat pembelajaran daring, dapat diketahui bahwa rata-rata skor terendah untuk self-esteem siswa terdapat pada indikator keseriusan dan fokus ketika belajar matematika. Artinya mayoritas siswa kurang fokus ketika belajar matematika saat pembelajaran daring, dan motivasi yang muncul dari dalam dirinya sangat kurang sehingga keseriusan dalam belajar matematika juga kurang. Sedangkan untuk skor tertinggi berada di indikator kepuasan diri yang didapat siswa ketika mereka berhasil mempelajari matematika. Tentu saja ini sebanding dengan usaha yang dilakukan siswa agar dapat berhasil dalam belajar matematika yaitu dengan belajar dan berlatih matematika dengan tekun. AbstractSelf-esteem is one of the factors that influence student success in academic achievement. Low self-esteem is indicated by the nature of students who tend to be lazy and less focused on learning. The research objective was to determine the level of self-esteem of class XII SMA Majalengka students in the 2019/2020 school year. This research method is quantitative through data collection related to student self-esteem. The sample is 72 students from class XII IPS. The results of research when learning online, it can be seen that the lowest average score for students' self-esteem is on the indicators of seriousness and focus when learning mathematics. This means that the majority of students are less focused when learning mathematics during online learning, and the motivation that comes from within them is very lacking so that they are not serious about learning mathematics. Meanwhile, the highest score is in the indicator of self-satisfaction obtained by students when they are successful in learning mathematics. Of course, this is comparable to the efforts made by students to be successful in learning mathematics, namely by studying and practicing mathematics diligently.

This study aims to (1). To find out the process of learning mathematics during the Covid-19 pandemic. (2). To find out what the headmaster was doing in learning mathematical during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research method used is using descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques used interview techniques and documentation. The subject in this research is the principal, mathematics teacher and four students who are randomly selected. The results obtained from this study indicate (1). The process of learning mathematics during the Covid-19 pandemic described modules or material summaries and assigning assignments to student. (2). To see what the headmaster did in learning mathematical during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus suggested that teachers should able to prepare the material properly so that students do not get bored with online learning. Students must take advantage of their free time to always explore the material that the teacher has distributed. For subsequent researchers who conduct research related similar, we use a broader subject.

ABSTRAKSejak September 2021 pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas (PTM) telah dilaksanakan. PTM terbatas ini memiliki banyak opsi dalam pelaksanaannya, misalnya dengan menggabungkan metode online dan PTM. Perubahan ke pembelajaran online didasarkan pada banyak asumsi, seperti semua anggota masyarakat memiliki akses ke berbagai perangkat. Namun, kenyataan di masyarakat masih banyak yang belum memiliki akses internet secara stabil. Mengatasi masalah tersebut, guru matematika di SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara menekankan kepada siswa bahwa pembelajaran matematika tidak hanya untuk mengejar ketercapaian materi yang ada di buku teks, tapi menekankan kepada siswa tentang cara berpikir kritis dan menyelesaiakan masalah. Pengabdian ini memberikan kesempatan kepada guru untuk memiliki pengalaman dalam menyusun sebuah tugas proyek dengan menggunakan konsep coding. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu pengabdian ini membantu guru dalam mencari alternatif baru dalam menyusun tugas proyek yang masih mengedepankan tujuan pembelajaran. Selain itu, siswa juga tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan oleh guru. Kata kunci: coding; tugas proyek; matematika. ABSTRACTSince September 2021 limited face-to-face learning (PTM) has been implemented. This limited PTM has many options in its implementation, for example by combining online and PTM methods. The shift to online learning is based on many assumptions, such as all members of society having access to multiple tools. However, the reality is that there are still many people who do not have stable internet access. To overcome this problem, the mathematics teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara emphasized to students that learning mathematics is not only to pursue the achievement of the material in the textbook, but emphasizes to students how to think critically and solve problems. This service provides an opportunity for teachers to have experience in compiling a project assignment using the concept of coding. The implementation of this service consists of three stages, namely the planning, implementation, and reflection stages. The results obtained are that this service helps teachers find new alternatives in compiling project assignments that still prioritize learning objectives. In addition, students also do not have difficulty in doing the assignments given by the teacher. Keywords: coding; project assignment; mathematics.
