Abstract: This study focused on forms of social pathology. Dua Garis Biru's novel tells a story about teenage life who commit deviation. The deviations committed by teenagers in Dua Garis Biru's novel are juvenile delinquency, dating, sexual relations before marriage, and early-age marriage. The deviant actions will give knowledge about the importance of sex education and the importance of communication between parents so that it can increase the discussion about sexuality to the children who are already teenagers. The method of the study was qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique was a literature study by collecting books and other sources related to the problems of the study. The results of the study show that Dua Garis Biru's novel show several forms of social pathology: Bima, who likes to skip school; Dara and Bima, who have dating until they have sexual relations before marriage; and Dara, who attempts to abort the fetus. Based on the results of the study, some suggestions are delivered to the readers and further researchers. For readers, they can take positive values from Dua Garis Biru's novel. For further researchers, it is expected that it can be used as a reference for the description of social pathology in Indonesian literary works. Novel Dua Garis Biru mengangkat cerita mengenai kehidupan remaja yang melakukan penyimpangan. Penyimpangan yang dilakukan oleh remaja pada novel Dua Garis Biru ini adalah juvenile delinquency, pacaran, hubungan seksual di luar nikah, dan pernikahan dini. perbuatan-perbuatan menyimpang ini akan memberikan pengetahuan mengenai pentingnya edukasi seks dan pentingnya komunikasi antara orangtua agar dapat meningkatkan diskusi mengenai seksualitas kepada anak-anak yang sudah beranjak remaja. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, dengan cara mengumpulkan buku-buku dan sumber-sumber lain yang terkait dengan masalah penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Dua Garis Biru menempatkan beberapa bentuk patologi sosial, seperti: Bima yang suka membolos, Dara dan Bima yang berpacaran sampai melakukan hubungan seksual di luar nikah, dan percobaan Dara untuk menggugurkan janin yang dikandungnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, beberapa saran disampaikan kepada pembaca dan peneliti selanjutnya. Bagi pembaca agar bisa mengambil pelajaran nilai-nilai positif dari novel Dua Garis Biru. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai referensi mengenai gambaran patologi sosial dalam karya sastra Indonesia. Abstrak:             Penulisan ini untuk mengetahui tokoh Aku yang mengalami luka karena dikhianati dan ditinggalkan oleh kekasihnya sehingga ia mengalami konflik batin.  Pembaca diberi gambaran untuk terus berjalan meskipun deretan ironi telah banyak melukai. Novel ini memiliki aspek-aspek yang sangat menarik untuk dikaji.  Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana aspek-aspek prikoanalisi (yang nyata, yang imajiner,  dan yang simbolik)dAalam Novel Cinta Tak Pernah Tepat Waktu karya Puthut EA . Berdasarkan rumusan masalah tersebut,  penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek-aspek psikoanilisis yang terdapat dalam Novel Cinta Tak Pernah Tepat Waktu karya EA.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif untuk menghasilkan data berupa berupa deskriptif.  Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data antara lain: metode dokumentasi,  metode telaah,  dan metode studi perpustakaan.  Sesuai terkumpul akan dianalisis dengan tekhnik deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah novel Cinta Tak Pernah Tepat Waktu karya Puthut EA mengandung aspek-aspek psikoanalisi.  Aspek-aspek psikoanalisis yang terdapat dalam novel ini dibagi menjadi tiga, yaitu: yang nyata(rasa kenyamanan pada tokoh Aku) yang imajiner (rasa kehilangan pada tokoh Aku),  yang simbolik (rasa keinginan pada tokoh Aku)Setiap karya sastra pada dasarnya mengandung aspek-aspek yang dapat memberikan manfaat sebagai pedoman bagi pembacanya sehingga hendaknya karya-karya sastra dapat diapresiasikan secara maksimal. Novel ini berisi pengalaman tokoh Aku beserta hikmah yang dapat dipetik dalam kehidupan. Abstrak:             The writing was to know the figure of I who was injured by being betrayed and abandoned by his lover so that he suffered an inner conflict.  Readers are given an overview to keep going though a row of irony has hurt a lot. The Novel has very interesting aspects to be studied.  The problem discussed in this study is how the Prikoanalyisi aspects (the real, the imaginary, and the symbolic) dAalam Novel Love never punctual the work of Puthut EA. Based on the problem, this research aims to describe the aspects of psychoanilisis in the Novel Love never-timely work of EA.  This type of research is qualitative research to produce a descriptive form of data.  Methods used in data collection include: Documentation methods, study methods, and library studies methods.  The appropriate collected will be analyzed with descriptive technology.  The results of this research are novel love never timely work by Puthut EA contains psychoanalyisi aspects.  The psychoanalytical aspects contained in the novel are divided into three, namely: the real (sense of comfort on the figure of me) the imaginary (the loss of my character), the symbolic (sense of desire on the figure of me) every literary work essentially Contains aspects that can provide benefits as a guideline for its readers so that the literary works can be maximally appreciated. This Novel contains the experience of the character I and the wisdom that can be learned in life.

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui Stereotip yang melekat pada kehidupan waria dalam novel Rumah Ilalang karya Stebby Julionatan. Stereotip yang dimaksud adalah gambaran atau cerminan kehidupan waria yang terjadi pada lingkungan masyarakat dalam karya sastra. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan Sosiologi Sastra. Sumber penelitian ini berasal dari novel Rumah Ilalang karya Stebby Julionatan. Data penelitian ini berupa kutipan, kalimat, dan paragraf yang berupa gambaran atau cerminan kehidupan waria. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode membaca Novel dan mengidentifikasikan konteks permasalahan yang akan diteliti. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Humberman melalui langkah-langkah (1) penyeleksian data, (2) pemaparan data, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil memperlihatkan waria direpresentasikan dalam tiga aspek, yaitu (1) tidak beragama, (2) tidak memiliki pekerjaan yang tetap, (3) tidak diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat.KATA KUNCI: novel rumah ilalang; stereotip; waria STEREOTYPES OF TRANSVESTITE LIFE IN RUMAH ILALANG BY STEBBY JULIONATAN ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine the stereotypes inherent in transvestite life in the Rumah Ilalang by Stebby Julionatan. This stereotype is a picture or reflection of transvestite life that occurs in the community environment in literary works in the form of novels. This type of research is descriptive-qualitative research with a sociological approach to literature. The source of this research is Rumah Ilalang by Stebby Julionatan. This research datas are the form of quotes, sentences, and paragraphs in the form of a picture or reflection of the life of transvestites. Data collection techniques are done by reading novels and identifying the context of the problem to be studied. The data analysis technique used in this study is the data analysis design presented by Miles and Humberman through the steps (1) selecting data, (2) disclosing data, and (3) drawing conclusions. The result show transgenders were represented in three aspects, namely (1) not having religion, (2) not having a permanent job, (3) not being well received by the community.KEYWORDS: rumah ilalang novels; stereotypes; transvestite

Literary works are classified as works of imagination in the form of fictional or imaginary experiences. The messages to be conveyed through literary works must be creative so that they appear attractive to read and listen to, so it is necessary to have a stile from the authorship itself to make his work beautiful and attractive. There are many ways to enjoy, understand and appreciate the work of the author Tenas Effendy, one of which is by studying the Stile of Tenas Effendy's authorship in Tunjuk Ajar Melayu. This study aims to analyze and interpret Tenas Effendy's stile authorship in Tunjuk Ajar Melayu. This needs to be examined because the existence of a literary work can be seen from how the author packs his work so that he can create his own stile from the author's side. The method used in this research is content analysis method. The source of data in this research is Tunjuk Ajar Melayu Karya Tenas Effendy in 2013 which has been recorded. The data collection technique is done by applying the hermeneutic technique. After the author of the analysis, Tunjuk Ajar Melayu by Tenas Effendy has a unique and distinctive authorship stile seen from the stylistic aspect, namely the stile as a pack of thoughts, the stile as a deviation from linguistic norms and the stile as a collection of personal characteristics.

Hamzah Fansuri lived in the early era of the peak of the Aceh Darussalam kingdom. The Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam at that time visited by many traders from Arab, Parsi, Turkish, Bengal (India), Siamese, Portuguese, and Spain. Hamzah Fansuri is a Sufism scholar who developed Islamic teaching trough his poems. One of his poems is Syair Perahu. Syair Perahu besides containing Sufism also is related to the trade and wealth of Singkel sea. The discovery of foreign ceramics along the Singkel river is one proof of trade in the past. This research use method of manuscript study. The reason for choosing text studies is because Hamzah Fansuri produced many literary works in the form of poetry. The approach used in this study is historical archaeology to reveal the maritime culture of Singkel trough Syair Perahu by Hamzah Fansuri. Data collection is done trough literature study by collecting books, documents, and paper relating to the life history of Hamzah Fansuri and and literary works that he produces. The purpose of this reseach is to determine the relationship between Syair Perahu and maritime culture of Singkel. Based on a study of Syair Perahu, it is known that Hamzah Fansuri not only discusses the Sufism but also provides information about Singkel and trade in its time.

<p>The objective of this research was to map out and seek solutions to the problems faced by students of English as a foreign language in reading literary works. Conducted at the Department of English and Literature, Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Hasanuddin University, the study took place over one semester. The research respondents were Indonesian postgraduate students taking the English Stylistics and Literary Appreciation course. The aims were: 1) to map out the language constraints of learners in reading English literary works, and 2) carry out troubleshooting to minimize the constraints. The data collection methods used was a questionnaire and in-depth interviews. The results showed that the foreign learners need to have sufficient knowledge of trope and scheme in general and linguistic deviation in particular, in order to understand the author's language in a broad sense as well as specific literary stylistics.</p>

<p><em>Educational values are closely related to literary works. Literary works (including novel) always reveal good values that are beneficial to its readers. Educational values can also be referred to a message. The element of message becomes the idea underlying the creation of the literary works. It is expected to be interpreted by the readers to be used as educational values as well as social control that can be used as a guide to interact in real life. Therefore, the aim of the study was to describe the educational values contained in the novel </em><em>Uhibbuka Fillah (Aku Mencintaimu Karena Allah) </em><em>by Ririn Rahayu Astuti Ningrum with the approach of literary sociology. Data collection techniques were documentation techniques. </em><em>The data were analyzed using the</em><em> content analysis. </em><em>The results showed that</em><em> the educational values found in the novel </em><em>Uhibbuka Fillah (Aku Mencintaimu Karena Allah)</em><em> by Ririn Rahayu Astuti Ningrum consisted of religious, moral, social, and cultural. (1) The values of religious education, encompassing about loving all things must be due to Allah, having resignation, increasing the knowledge of religion, accustoming to fasting and sunnah prayer, covering aurat, and ghadhdhul bashar (holding sight). (2) The values of moral education, including about obedience to parents, good morals, sincerity and honesty. (3) The values of social education, including about love to orphans, help, and keep promises to others. (4) The value of cultural education is about the palace building that has implied meaning. The findings are very well used as the example in shaping positive values in real life.</em></p><p> </p><p>Nilai-nilai pendidikan sangat erat kaitannya dengan karya sastra. Setiap karya sastra yang baik (termasuk novel) selalu mengungkapkan nilai-nilai luhur yang bermanfaat bagi pembacanya. Nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam karya sastra dapat disebut juga sebagai amanat atau pesan. Unsur amanat atau pesan menjadi gagasan yang mendasari diciptakannya karya sastra tersebut. Hal tersebut diharapkan dapat ditafsirkan oleh pembaca agar bisa dijadikan sebagai ilmu atau nilai pendidikan sekaligus kontrol sosial yang bisa dijadikan pedoman berinteraksi dalam kehidupan yang nyata. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam novel Uhibbuka Fillah (Aku Mencintaimu Karena Allah) karya Ririn Rahayu Astuti Ningrum dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Data dalam penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini berupa kata, kalimat, atau wacana yang bersumber dari novel Uhibbuka Fillah (Aku Mencintaimu Karena Allah) karya Ririn Rahayu Astuti Ningrum. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi, simak, dan catat. Analisis data dilakukan dengan content analysis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan yang ditemukan dalam novel Uhibbuka Fillah (Aku Mencintaimu Karena Allah) karya Ririn Rahayu Astuti Ningrum terdiri dari nilai pendidikan agama, moral, sosial, dan budaya. (1) Nilai-nilai pendidikan agama, mencakup ajaran untuk mencintai segala sesuatu harus karena Allah, tawakkal hanya kepada Allah, mendalami ilmu agama, membiasakan puasa dan sholat sunnah, menutup aurat, dan ghadhdhul bashar (menundukkan atau menahan pandangan). (2) Nilai-nilai pendidikan moral, mencakup ajaran untuk taat dan patuh kepada orang tua, berakhlak baik, berbuat tulus dan jujur. (3) Nilai-nilai pendidikan sosial, mencakup ajaran untuk mencintai anak yatim, tolong menolong, dan menepati janji kepada orang lain. (4) Nilai pendidikan budaya antaranya mengenai bangunan keraton yang memiliki makna tersirat. Dari keseluruhan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terdapat dalam novel ini, sangatlah baik digunakan sebagai contoh dalam membentuk dan menanamkan nilai-nilai positif dalam kehidupan nyata</p>

Pasang Ri Kajang is an Ammatoa community life guidance which is consist of a collection of ancestral mandates. The formulation of the problem in this study is how Pasang Ri Kajang, which is Local Wisdom, contains aspects of Proverbs, Proverbs and Literature Characteristics the purpose of this research study is:Getting a picture of how Pasang Ri Kajang that is a Local Wisdom contains aspects of Proverbs, Characteristics and Literature. Data collection techniques through informants through observation, interviews, recordings and documentation. Sources of data in this study were obtained from primary datasources, namely customary stakeholders and community leaders. Data were collected from July 2019 to September 2019. Research findings and conclusions that the contents of Pasang Ri Kajang include proverbs. Types of proverbs: proverb, thimble or slogan. Pasang Ri Kajang, if observed almost all elementsof literary works contained in Pasang ri Kajang. Literary elements, namely: thoughts, experiences, ideas, feelings, enthusiasm, beliefs, beliefs, expressions, expressions, forms, and language criteria for proverbs that are the structure that must not change, the beauty of the language lies in the repetition of words at the beginning of the sentence with use the word, reflecting events that occur in a society, proverbs are formed and created with a reliable and beautiful language bond so that the proverb will be attached to the mouth of the community and hereditary Celoka and Talibun.

The topic of this study is about Romanticism of James Horner's songs that entitled If We Hold On Together, Somewhere Out There, I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You. The purpose of this study is to find out how James Horner expressed romanticism in his literary works. The theories used to analyze the data are expressive theory made by M.H Abrams and poetry theory from Persy Bysshe Shelly. The research design used is quantitative research. Data collection and analysis techniques by conducting intense readings and conducting content analysis. The research findings show that the romanticism in James Horner's song utilizes parallelism, hyperbole, personification, symbol, imagery, and antitheses. The romanticism expressed by James Horner in his song entitled If We Hold On Together, Somewhere Out There and I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You is to tell about the beauty of nature, emotions, feelings and intuitions that are poured out of the author through a message songs lyrics inspired by stories of movie imagination.

This study aims to explore East Javanese literature and writers during the pandemic through the perspective of reader response. This study uses an interpretive qualitative approach. The informants in this study were professional literary readers and ordinary literary readers. as many as 84 respondents have responded to the Indonesian Literature Reader form in East Java from various categories with a distribution of 66.3 percent of undergraduate students; 18.8 percent of Lecturers; 8.4 percent of Teachers; 4.2 percent of General; Researchers and Doctoral students got the same result, namely 1.1 percent. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews and questionnaires. The results of the study show the following. First, it represents the psychology of the author.” 58.9 percent of respondents answered that the literary work represented the psychology of the author, 28.4 percent did not know and 12.6 percent did not. Second, the literary work represents the author's psychology, as many as 58.9 percent answered yes. While at least answering the literary work does not represent the psychology of the author, which is 12.6 percent. Third, the psychology understood by the reader, namely Personality Psychology (existential, behavioral, psychoanalytic, humanistic) with 28.4 percent answered yes, while at least 1.1 percent answered Masculinity Psychology and Mass Psychology. Indonesian writers in East Java tend to bring up Javanese human psychology in their literary works?” Of these questions, 52.6 percent of respondents answered that Indonesian writers in East Java tended to bring up Javanese human psychology in their literary works, as many as 42.1 percent answered maybe and 5.3 percent answered that Indonesian writers in East Java tended not to bring up Javanese human psychology in their literature. his literary works.
