West Jakarta is one of the cities in the DKI Jakarta province which has great tourism potential, especially on cultural and historical tourism. In the city, there are lots of historical heritage buildings during the Dutch colonial era. However, in fact the information about it is still limited especially for foreign tourists that know more about Bali as Indonesia. One of the methods to introduce the tourism is by using webGIS technology as it is the aim of this research that develop a tourism webGIS of West Jakarta which can be accessed by internet media. By using webGIS, it can be displayed West Jakarta tourisms that equipped with map location point and its travel route, and it can be accessed by internet browser without using GIS-processed software. The displayed tourisms are cultural and historical, culinary, shopping, family and religious tourisms. The webGIS was created by using Location Based Service (LBS) method that utilizes Google Maps API and Framework CodeIgniter. With LBS, the coordinates of tourist locations in the form of lattitude and longitude originating from the Google Maps application can easily be inputed in the webGIS code structure. This WebGIS was successfully accessed through an internet browser both on a computer and smartphone device, and also with usability test by distributing questionnaires to 40 respondents. The questionnaires contain several questions regarding the effectiveness, simplicity, and satisfaction during accessing the webGIS. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it can be concluded that the tourism webGIS application of West Jakarta classified into categories sufficiently effective, simple and satisfying.

The city of Medan is the third-largest city in Indonesia and has historical buildings or heritage that can be revitalized as a cultural heritage with tourism potential that can be developed. However, until now, the colonial heritage buildings have been destroyed up to 70%. This research method uses a tourism anthropology approach with a qualitative research type that focuses on tourist destinations. The research location is a heritage area, a colonial heritage building in the Merdeka Square segment, Maimoon segment, Benteng segment, Youth segment, Polonia segment, and Sambu segment. The study results reveal that Medan has a heritage in the form of historic buildings that have the potential to be developed and represent the identity of the city of Medan. The potential for tourism development can be carried out in 3 (three) potential areas, namely: 1) The youth segment, which includes Gedung Juang 45, which currently functions as the Sumatran Money Museum, Tip Top Restaurant, and Tjong A Fie Mansion. 2) the Maimoon segment, which includes: Maimoon Palace and the Great Mosque. 3) The Merdeka Square segment includes City Hall, which currently functions as the Grand City Hall, Hotel De Boer (currently called Grand Inna Hotel), and the London Sumatra building. Through urban tourism based on urban heritage tourism, tourists can be invited to appreciate and interpret the objects observed. It serves as education and recreation for the community. This activity is also a means of preserving the wealth and identity of the city of Medan.

City of Bandung is known as a city that has many historical heritage buildings. City of Bandung’s imageas a city of Art Deco needs to be treasuredand maintained as it is known worldwide as a point of interest which drivepeople from around the world to visit and study it. As time goes, modernization concentratingon economic development often presents a threat to historic old buildings in the city of Bandung. One of the impact of this dynamicdevelopment is the potential loss of historical heritage as an object of tourism,therefore, conservation efforts should be done accordingly. One of the effortis strategic approach in developing and improving tourism, especially in the city of Bandung, namely through the preservation of old buildings. The presentation in this study focuses on building conservationstudybya case study of Panti Karya Building located on Jalan Merdeka Number 39 Bandung West Java. The research method used for analysisis the qualitative method using architectural forming elements and building studies in the composition of triadic functions-forms-meanings. The findings of this study statedthat the Panti Karya Building has strongerModern Architecturecharacteristics rather than Art Deco Architecture. The value of preserving the architecture of Panti KaryaBuilding is described according to Bandung City Regulation No.19 of Year 2009 concerning Management of Cultural Heritage Areas and Buildings includingHistorical value–the third highest building of Southeast AsianWorkers' Union and also as a pioneer of post-independence development;Architectural value–the style of Modern Architecture that shows the spirit of independence;The value of science–the style of Modern Architecture represents the progress of science andtechnology;Social culturalvalues–as a place for socializing and holding cultural performances;lastly, Building age–63 years oldof agemakes this building worthy of being categorized as a cultural heritage building

Preservation of the area is an effort to protect and maintain the authenticity and historical value in an area dynamically, which is carried out not only to get the purpose of building maintenance but functionally can generate revenue and profits for the region. Based on the RTRW Kota Semarang 2011-2031, Kauman is one of the cultural heritage areas. There are two types of historical heritage buildings in the Kauman area, Masjid Agung Semarang and several ancient houses which have Arabic architecture. Some old buildings were not maintained and neglected and have not received the attention of the government so that many experienced changes in the form and style of architectural buildings. Moreover, Kauman, which is known as a village with a high religious nuance, fades its values, character, and culture as the times progress. Therefore the purpose of this study is to study the preservation of Kauman Semarang as a religious tourism area. The research method in this study uses qualitative descriptive analysis with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations. The results of this study are preservation that is supported by the development of religious tourism in Kauman. The development is carried out on facilities and infrastructure for tourism support and tourism potential in Kauman in the form of culinary tours and religious education from Islamic boarding schools.

The article provides an overview of the historical development of the city Sarapul. This second largest city of the Udmurt Republic has significant tourism potential, which is based on rich historical and cultural heritage. History of Sarapul, according to the available data, is rooted in the XVI century. In the second half of the XVIII century the city became a district center in the Vyatka province. Administrative status and favorable geographical position of Sarapul on the banks of navigable Kama caused a rapid transformation of the city in the commercial and industrial center of Middle Kama region, the capital of his social and spiritual life. Merchant was the most significant social stratum in the city. The most prominent representatives of merchants – P.A. Bashenin, G.D. Peshekhonov et al. – made famous city in the whole country. Merchant house, churches, industrial buildings, public institutions buildings that was often built on donations of the merchants made a unique architectural appearance of Sarapul, took shape in the late XIX – early XX centuries. The unique historical heritage of the city has preserved until today. The list of historical and cultural monuments located in the territory of the city, includes more than 200 objects. The city is the birthplace of famous people, including hero of the Patriotic War of 1812 N. A. Durova. Sarapul listed as "Historic cities of Russia". The city be- came the basis for the investment project "Tourism and recreation cluster "Kamskiy Bereg", supported by the Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation. Given the existing tourist potential, convenient location on the route of cruise ships, the activities of the Museum of History and Culture of Middle Kama region for the organization of tourist activities, the measures undertaken in the framework of the development of the tourism cluster, there is every reason to believe that Sarapul will become an attractive tourist center not only in Udmurtia, but the entire Volga region.

Abstract The paper presents the assessment of the building “Radnički dom” (Workers’ Home) in Mostar, which was built in the Austro-Hungarian period, and represents one of the buildings of cultural and historical significance, located in the area of the historic urban core of the city. The paper explains the steps in assessing the condition of the existing structure, which include the collection of existing documentation, structural inspections, tests and calculations, and the assessment and decision on further action. The paper presents the drafts and gives descriptions of the performed visual inspection and the performed static calculation of the existing structure. At the end of the paper, recommendations are given for the rehabilitation and consolidation of the walls of the building: classical methods (injection and grouting) as well as modern methods (carbon strips). The paper points out the complexity of the procedure for the restoration of cultural and historical heritage buildings, the need for valid expertise of the condition and causes of building degradation, the importance of designing details of new structural elements and their corresponding and adequate connections with the original structure of the object.

Nowadays people have started to realize the importance of health. Everyone wants to quickly find out where the right doctor is if they want to get health services or have shown certain symptoms of illness. This research resulted in an application called "find doctor" which aims to be able to find the location and information of the doctor closest to the user while in the city of Padang. This study adopted stages of the Waterfall Model and was built using the Location Based Service method provided by Android. This application is built from two sides, namely the android client and the web server. This research produces an application that can find the location and information of the desired doctor's practice in the city of Padang. Applications that can be accessed using an internet browser (server) and android smartphone (client) with a minimum Android 5.0 operating system.

Gundaling Hill is a tourist attraction located in the city of Berastagi Karo. The Hill is known as natural tourist attraction since the Dutch colonial era, and has a unique history that makes it more attractive for tourist who visit it. However, Gundaling Hill is no longer attractive for tourist. It is because there is no development on it, and there are  some new tourist attractions are established which have replaced the position of Gundaling Hill as a famous tourist attraction in Karo. The research purposes are; to determine the potential of the tourist attraction Gundaling Hill and to determine what needs to be done for the development of Gundaling Hill. This study  uses qualitative research methods and the concept of tourism potential and tourism development. Over time Gundaling Hill no longer as beautiful and as well-known as earlier, it is because there is no development is done to the charms of this site, so that tourist no longer feel that Gundaling Hill is a wonderful tourist attraction. The reason are the lack of tourist attractions that are offered, poorly managed, the lack of parking spaces, and the lack of development. It is clear that the role of stakeholders is needed, both from the local community, government and the private sector in oder to develop an attractive tourist attraction in Gundaling Hill.   Keywords: Development of Tourist Attractions, Tourism Potential, Tourist Attraction.

Researchers began to research UKM, Tegal City Cooperative Service and region in Tegal City, researchers found in UKM, a location that has businesses in various places in the village, especially regarding UKM. However, many of these UKM locations are unknown to the public. One problem is the lack of data regarding the address and location of UKM. So now it is very much needed an android application using GIS and LBS that will facilitate and help the people of Tegal to be able to obtain data and find out more about UKM in the city of Tegal. Google Maps is an application on Android smartphones and computers that can be accessed via the internet so that Google Maps can display on Android. The purpose of this study is to facilitate the Tegal community to find information on locations, products, and UKM owners, based on a survey by researchers. The implementation of the UKM location mapping system in the city of Tegal will certainly make it easier for the people of Tegal to find data about the addresses and products of UKM in the city of Tegal. Because every data needed becomes more accurate, fast and efficient.

This research focuses on exploring the existing valuable yet neglected heritage trail of Abbottabad. The primary objective of the research is to prepare a conservation strategy for the selected heritage trail in the city after profound study culminating in the detailed documentation of architecturally rich and valuable heritage buildings of the city. One of the important focuses of the conservation was the promotion of tourism in the city by attracting the local as well as international tourists by providing details of each historic structure. Documentation of the Architectural characteristics of important buildings in the selected areas of the city was included in the study. Moreover, all important buildings were documented in terms of their location, architectural and artistic importance. The research brought forth some interesting findings regarding the responses of government authorities and the general public towards the rich heritage trail of the area. In the light of these findings, conclusions were derived and a set of suggestions was prepared for practical implications on an immediate as well as long-term basis.

The number of vehicles in Indonesia continues to increase every year. This also happened in Ponorogo regency. It will also be directly proportional to the number of people who have problems with their vehicles, such as leaked tire quotes for being nailed or other causes. And will also increase the need for tire services. For motorists who are less aware of the surrounding area when experiencing damage to motorcycle tires, then of course to find a place nearest tire patch will be quite difficult. Therefore in this study developed information media for Android-based applications to map the locations - tire patch locations in Ponorogo, as well as looking for the closest tire patch with the rider. This app is a location-based service (location-based service) to the driver with the nearest patch of the banal location. Based on the results of testing this application can help users find the location of location preservation, tar bambal patch location, tire repair shop list, and tire repair shop list distance. This application can also show each other the location in accordance with the location of google maps applications.
