String matching is the process of finding all occurrences of a query or called a pattern into a string or text. String matching is a string or word matching that is used in the problem to find the pattern of string characters in a sentence. String matching is a technique in determining the accuracy of a given text pattern. Attractions in North Sumatra is one of the most popular tourist destinations in North Sumatra, Lake Toba because of the beautiful scenery of many outsiders or foreigners also visit the tour. Lack of information about North Sumatra tourism objects, the authors designed a tourism catalog to help the community in finding the latest attractions in North Sumatra such as natural attractions, historical tourism, religious tourism and many more can we visit the attractions around North Sumatra. The Rabin-Karp algorithm is a hashing function to find patterns in a string. In searching a travel catalog with the Rabin-Karp algorithm, it is very suitable to use because the Rabin-Krap algorithm is used to search for a word contained in a travel search. So that the testing phase requires eclipse software in the design of making travel catalogs. Keywords: String Matching, Attraction, Tourism Catalog, Rabin-Karp Algorithm, Eclipse

Tourism is a major economic pillar for many countries; it enables them to increase gross domestic product, improves the population lifestyle, and preserves natural, cultural, and religious tourism assets. Tourism appears as a magic tool that could change the future of a developing country. However, tourism requires qualified human resources who can deliver high-quality service. Tour guides assume a great responsibility as they communicate with tourists during their sojourn. Their mission is even more critical if they have to accompany tourists to sacred tourist destinations where tourists are engaged in religious activities. The best practices of guides embedded with tourist behaviors are expected to enhance a peaceful world and provide a good touristic experience.

The Humogo Waterfall Tourism Area is one of the waterfall tours located on Nias Island, Fadoro Village, Gunungsitoli Idanoi Subdistrict, Gunungsitoli City, North Sumatra Province. The plan for structuring the Humogo Waterfall Tourism Area is planned based on the Regional Work Plan of the Gunungsitoli City Tourism and Culture Office in 2018, where the arrangement is aimed at adding facilities and infrastructure to support tourism in the Humogo Waterfall Tourism Area and the preparation of the Humogo Waterfall Tourism Area Master Plan, Gunungsitoli city. The Humogo Waterfall area is located in Fadoro Village with an area of 15.5 ha with most of the area still dominated by forests and plantations. The Humogo Waterfall Tourism Area is one of the leading tourist destinations in Gunungsitoli City, which was only opened to the public at the end of 2018. This waterfall has a distinctive characteristic of a multilevel waterfall so it is very interesting to be explored by tourists and has very natural conditions that are still very natural surrounded by trees such as coconut trees, rubber trees and so on. However, this tourism area still has shortcomings in the form of supporting tourism facilities and infrastructure so it is necessary to propose facilities and infrastructure in order to increase the tourist attraction of Humogo Waterfall. The analysis carried out is a policy analysis, site and site analysis, best practice analysis, tourist attraction analysis, perceptions and preferences analysis and analysis of spatial requirements so as to produce proposals and the Humogo Waterfall Tourism Area Planning Plan which is laid out with the concept of ecotourism Keywords: ecotourism; nature tourism; tourist zoning; waterfall tourism region AbstrakKawasan Pariwisata Air Terjun Humogo merupakan salah salah satu wisata air terjun yang terletak di Pulau Nias, tepatnya di Desa Fadoro, Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Idanoi, Kota Gunungsitoli, Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Background: There are different methodologies for DNA comparison based on two string algorithms, which are dependent on crisp logical principles, where there is no room for verbal (linguistic) uncertainty. These are successfully applicable procedures in DNA bioinformatics researches even by taking into consideration probabilistic random variability components based on the probability distribution functions of various types. Objective: The main purpose of this paper is to review first briefly all available DNA string matching methodologies that are based on crisp logic and then to suggest a new method based on the fuzzy logic rules and application. Methods: There are different methodologies for DNA comparison based on two string algorithms, which are dependent on crisp logical principles, where there is no room for verbal (linguistic) uncertainty. These are successfully applicable procedures in DNA bioinformatics researchers even by taking into consideration probabilistic random variability components based on the probability distribution functions of various types. Results: Fuzzy number representation of each gene implies some sort of uncertainty or unhealthiness in some or all the genes. Their better identifications can be achieved on the basis of fuzzy numbers with different membership degrees, which imply the unhealthiness or healthiness of the genes and their collective behaviors. Conclusion: After the development of fuzzy number representation of the text string coupled with crisp pattern string their relationships are searched at different shift operations, and hence, the possibility of defaulters are identified in the text string with a certain degree of membership.

Tourism has become one of the sectors which are the mainstay source of foreign exchange in Indonesia. One of the region which has tourism potential is Samosir District at North Sumatra Province. Climatic conditions affect the tourist comfortability while doing the tourism activity. Studies on climate comfort in Toba Lake Region, especially in Samosir District have not been done. Way to determine the level of comfort associated with tourism activities are known to the Tourism Climate Index (TCI). This research aims to determine the level of climate comfort tourist destinations in Samosir District based on the value of TCI and knowing the relation between TCI value with the number of visits a tourist destination.
