Traditional food also proves as functional food wich prevents degenerative diseases. The fact shows in children's school the traditional food is less popular than modern food (nontraditional). But modern snacks have a negatively impact on health status. This habit will not occur if the children get knowledge about good nutrition. The aim of this research is to find out the effect of nutritional counseling on traditional food toward children's knowledge and attitude at Elementry School 11st in Banda Aceh. Quasi-experimental research was conducted on 33 students drawn randomly, measured before and after the extension of knowledge respondents using a questionnaire form, and data analysis used a T-test statistical tests dependent on CI: 95%. The results, the average level of knowledge of children before and after the extension is 10, 45, and 11,88. The average behavior before and after counseling was 6,73 and 7,09. In conclusion, counseling has an influence in increasing the knowledge of schoolchildren about traditional snacks but does not affect changing the behavior of elementary school children. Suggestions need to increase outreach using media in changing the behavior of elementary school children. Jajanan tradisional merupakan makanan fungsional, yang dapat mencegah beberapa jenis penyakit degenerative. Fakta menunjukkan bahwapada anak sekolah jajanan tradisional kurang digemari dibandingkan jajanan modern (non tradisional). Namun, jajanan  moderen (non tradisional) berdampak negatif terhadap status kesehatan. Apabila setiap anak tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan perilaku tentang gizi, maka mereka akan salah dalam memilih jajanan yang sehat. Penelitian  bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh penyuluhan gizi tentang jajanan tradisional terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku anak. Desain penelitian kuasi eksperimen pada 33 siswa sekolah dasar,  dengan pendekatan pre-postest observational, sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan diukur pengetahuan responden dengan menggunakan form kuesioner, dan analisa data menguunakan uji statistik T-test dependen pada CI:95%. Hasil, rata-rata  tingkat pengetahuan anak sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan adalah 10,45 dan 11,88. Rata-rata perilaku sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan adalah 6,73 dan 7,09. Kesimpulan, penyuluhan mempunyai pengaruh dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan anak sekolah tentang jajanan tradisional, namun tidak berpengaruh dalam mengubah perilaku anak-anak sekolah dasar. Saran, perlu peningkatan penyuluhan dengan menggunakan media dalam mengubah perilaku anak-anak sekolah dasar.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of a musical instrument performance program on emotional intelligence, anxiety, and aggression in Korean elementary school children. A quasi-experimental study design was employed, in which the experimental group ( n = 30) received a weekly group musical instrument performance class with a regular music class, and the control group ( n = 30) received only a regular music class that is part of the elementary school curriculum. We measured emotional intelligence, anxiety, and aggression at the beginning and end of the 24-week intervention using the Emotional Intelligence Scale, the Trait Anxiety Inventory, and the Aggression Scale. The musical instrument performance program improved the ability to perceive emotions, and reduced physical and verbal aggression, but had no statistically significant effect on the level of total emotional intelligence, anxiety, or aggression.

Technological advances and innovations have inadvertently promoted a more sedentary lifestyle. Lifestyles of this kind tend to involve a lack of good quality sleep and poor nutrition. This is a particularly worrisome trend in children and it is important to encourage an active lifestyle and good nutrition among this generation and instill them with positive habits. Indeed, research has found that more and more Japanese children are waking with a low basal body temperature, which can be associated with poor physical fitness. Professor Isao Kambayashi, Hokkaido University of Education (HUE), Japan, and Koji Sugo, Sapporo Elementary School, Japan, which is affiliated with HUE, are looking into the extent of the issue and what can be done to improve it, with a focus on better education. At present, little time is dedicated to the health education of elementary school children, which is not helping the situation. As such, Kambayashi and Sugo are surveying students in order to establish a better understanding of the situation and they will implement an educational programme designed to improve the health and fitness of elementary school children. The idea is that implementing the educational programme will improve the fitness levels of children as well as improving their nutrition, resulting in improved lifestyles overall. Ultimately, this should have a widespread positive impact, curbing rising sedentary lifestyles and increasing levels of obesity, with the potential for similar programmes to be introduced throughout Japan and, indeed, the world.

Elementary school children are one of the group that can easily get malnutrition because of some factors such as low economic level of the family, unbalanced food nutrition, and lack of knowledge of the parents. A good nutrition status of children is affected by parenting system because children need supervision from the parents for their nutrition needs. Parenting system is a form of interaction in which the parents pay their attention on their children's needs especially for the children's growth process. The purpose of this research is to find out which parenting systems that are applied toward feeding their elementary school children at Binaus Village. This research used quantitative descriptive method with the total participants were 117 parents of 146 children. Questionnaire was used to collect the data. Data analysis used was univariat and the result showed that the majority of mother at Binaus Village, district of Mollo Tengah (Central Mollo), Timor tengah Selatan, East Nusa Tenggara Province, applied authoritative parenting system (79,5%). Although the parents have less amount of income and lack of educational background, the application of authoritative parenting system at Binaus Village is high.

AbstrakJumlah penduduk yang semakin meningkat diikuti dengan selarasnya kebutuhan pangan namun tidak diikuti dengan peningkatan sektor pertanian di Indonesia ditunjukkan dengan semakin berkurangnya minat anak muda di bidang pertanian. Permasalahan mengenai penurunan minat anak muda di pertanian hakikatnya menjadi perhatian khusus dari berbagai pihak karena menjadi faktor penghambat pertumbuhan pembangunan pertanian. SD Negri 01 Manang merupakan mitra yang tepat untuk diberikannya kurikulum pendidikan anak yang diselipkan arti penting pertanian sehingga dari masa kanak-kanak potensi pertanian untuk masa depan tertanam dalam pola pikir mereka. Solusi mengenai model edukasi pertanian sejak dini dirasa sangat tepat menarik minat anak-anak dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan, kemampuan dan kesenangan setiap anak sehingga dampaknya dapat meminimumkan dampak ketidaktertarikan generasi muda terhadap bidang pertanian. Program Agroschooling memiliki tujuan untuk mengenalkan kepada anak-anak sekolah dasar mengenai pentingnya dunia pertanian dan pengelolaan lingkungan alam sekitar. Metode yang diberikan dalam program agroschooling anak-anak SD menonton secara virtual video tentang pertanian, kemudian ditanyai dengan beberapa pertanyaan di kuesioner dengan bantuan mahasiswa mengenai cita-cita dan kesukaan di bidang pertanian. Acara dilanjutkan dengan penanaman tanaman di ikuti dengan pertanyaan kuesioner untuk menanyai apakah ada yang ingin berganti cita-cita setelah mengikuti program Agrochooling. Data-data tersebut di analisis menggunakan linkert dan diinputkan dalam rating scale. Selain itu digunakan analisis before dan after untuk melihat peningkatan anak-anak yang ingin bekerja di sektor pertanian sebelum dan sesudah diadakan program Agroshcooling. Survei awal membuktikan bahwa sebanyak 0% dari siswa dan siswi SD yang bercita-cita ingin bekerja di sektor pertanian. Peningkatan persentase keinginan bekerja para siswa dan siswi di SD 01 Manang di bidang pertanian terjadi sebanyak 15,38% setelah diadakannya program Agroschooling. Persepsi para siswa dan siswi terhadap kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengenai agroschooling masuk ke dalam kategori� baik. Harapannya akan adanya kelanjutan pengabdian dengan survey ketertarikan siswa terhadap pertanian. �Kata kunci: Pertanian; Agroschooling�AbstractIncreasing population followed by harmonious food needs but not followed by an increase in the agricultural sector in Indonesia is shown by the decreasing interest of young people in agriculture. The problem regarding the decline of young people's interest in agriculture is of particular concern to various parties because it is a factor inhibiting the growth of agricultural development. SD Negri 01 Manang is the right partner for child education curriculum which is tucked in the importance of agriculture so that from childhood childhood the potential of agriculture for the future is embedded in their mindset. The solution regarding the agricultural education model from the beginning is felt to be very appropriate to attract the interests of children and adapted to the needs, abilities and enjoyment of children so that the impact can minimize the impact of the young generation's disinterest in agriculture. The method given in the agroschooling program for elementary school children watched a virtual video about agriculture, then was asked a number of questions in the questionnaire with the help of students about their ideals and preferences in agriculture. The program was followed by planting plants followed by questionnaire questions to ask if anyone wanted to change their goals after joining the Agrochooling program. The data is analyzed using linkert and entered in the rating scale. Also used before and after analysis to see the increase in children who want to work in the agricultural sector before and after the Agroshcooling program was held. The Agroschooling Program aims to introduce elementary school children about the importance of agriculture and the management of the surrounding natural environment. Initial survey prove that as many as 0% of elementary school students want to work in the agricultural sector. The increase in the percentage of students wanting to work at SD 01 Manang in agriculture occurred as much as 15.38%. The perception of students and students of community service activities regarding agroschooling into the good category. This study aims to determine the effect of the educational game of balanced nutrition ladder snakes on changes in knowledge and attitudes and actions in elementary school children in Muhammadyah school, Tanjung Morawa district. This type of research is a Quasi-Experimental study (quasi-experimental design) with the design of One Group Pretest- Posttest. The sample in this study was 75 elementary school children Muhammadiyah Kec. Tanjung Morawa. Data was collected using a questionnaire that was filled in by the respondent himself. If the data is normally distributed then the type of test used is the dependent T-test (in pairs). If the data is not normally distributed then the test used is the ranking test. The statistical test results obtained p-value = 0,000 < 0.05, which shows that the influence of snake ladder education game balanced nutrition to changes in knowledge and attitudes in school children. The conclusion in this study is the influence of the educational game of balanced nutrition ladder snakes on changes in knowledge and attitudes in school children.

School children are the nation's next generation. Therefore, it is necessary to improve human resources from an early age. Providing good nutrition, will affect the growth and development of a child. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between eating and breakfast patterns and learning achievement of elementary school children. The type of research used is quantitative research with a literature study design. The literature used is literature published from 2013 to 2020. The results of data analysis show that there is a relationship between eating and breakfast patterns and learning achievement of elementary school children. The results of data analysis showed that there were 3 research locations, namely in Java 60% (6 articles), Sulawesi 30% (3 articles), Kalimantan 10% (1 article). Using correlation research 50%, analytic survey research 20%, and 30% other research. Data analysis was made in univariate and bivariate ways. The variables used in each study were diet, breakfast, and learning achievement. From this research, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between eating and breakfast patterns and learning achievement of elementary school children. So further research is expected to develop other factors that can affect student achievement.

The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of one dish meal breakfast on dietary intake and adequacy level of energy and other nutrients of elementary school children. The study used pre-experimental<br />one-group pretest-posttest design and was conducted from March to May 2011 at Kebon Kopi 2 Public Elementary<br />School in Bogor City. The total number of sixty two elementary students were fully participated in this study, most of them were girls aged 11 years old. The Ethical Approval for this study was obtained from Komisi Etik Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kesehatan No. KE.01.05/EC/301/2011. Sufficient consumption of vegetables and fruits is one balanced nutritional indicator. Indonesian people (60.44%) consume fewer vegetables and fruits. The fiber content in vegetables and fruit is very useful for the body. Nutrition education in early childhood aims to shape nutritional behavior to be better. Efforts to improve nutrition knowledge can be done with appropriate, interesting, and easily understood media for children including storytelling methods. Therefore, it is necessary to research nutrition education through a storytelling method to increase the consumption of vegetables and fruits for elementary school children. This study aims to determine the effect of nutrition education through storytelling methods to increase the consumption of vegetables and fruits for elementary school children. This research is a pre-experiment. one group pre-post test. Data analysis in this study using the Paired Sample T-test. The subjects of this study were the elementary school children of 21 North Pontianak totaling 35 samples. The technique of collecting questionnaire data was chosen by direct interview, to see the difference in the consumption of vegetables and fruits. Based on the results of statistical tests of fruit intake scores before and after the intervention of 35 respondents obtained p-value 0,000 <0,05 this indicates that there is a significant difference between the fruit intake score before and after. The statistical test results of vegetable intake scores before and after the intervention were obtained p-value 0,000 <0,05, indicating that there were significant differences in vegetable intake scores in school children.

<p>The objective of the study was to analyze the differences of applying educational media to change mother’s knowledge and attitude on the breakfast of the elementary school children in Bogor District. The study was a quasy experimental study. Subjects in this research were 225 mothers of elementary school children in the nine villages in Bogor District. Nutrition education media used for this study were power point slides, flip charts, and combination of the power point slides and leaflets. Score of knowledge and attitude on breakfast increased significantly after the intervention. ANOVA analysis results on knowledge and attitude on the breakfast showed better improvement for the combination of power point slides and leaflets. The proportion of knowledge and attitude of the mothers increased after the intervention. The combination of the power point slides and leaflets was the type of educational media which could increase the rate of mother’s knowledge and attitude score compared to power point slides and flip chart.</p>
