Saving is setting aside some of the money you have to save and can be used later when needed. Saving is one way to manage finances to meet our needs. At the Community Service this time, the theme was the importance of saving from an early age held on 28-30 October 2018 in the village of Jampang, Bogor. What is taught to save is that children from school age because saving is a positive thing especially if done from a young age? The method used is the presentation of material that is easy to understand and interesting for children. Savings media that are made by them using used bottles are very interesting things for them. Most of the parents of these children are fish farmers whose income is volatile, so the lecturers teach children to be able to set aside their allowances to be more useful later. And is expected to be able to help them especially to meet their school costs and needs.

The Village

Waste is a problem that must be faced by residential communities both in urban and rural settlements, so it needs to be systematically structured and sustainable. Conventional waste handling that has been implemented by the community cannot produce an appropriate solution, this is evident that there is still a large volume of waste that has not been managed properly. The purpose of implementing community service activities in the village of Sedapurklagen in Benjeng Gresik is to utilize household waste through compoter and biopori as well as the application of Biopori to treat household waste that can also reduce waterlogging during rain. The implementation method is used so that the purpose of this service activity is to empower the community about managing household waste to be composted through composter, as well as training on composting from composter and biopori. The target of this activity is the mothers of family welfare coaching (PKK) in the village of Sedapurklagen, Benjeng Gresik. The result of this service is that the community has begun to process organic waste to make compost and million biopori pipes around the Posapur, Sedapurklagen Gresik to reduce the presence of standing water during the rainy season.

<em>Sexual harassment is still a taboo subject. This causes many victims of sexual harassment who do not dare to report to others or to the authorities. The number of cases of sexual harassment that occurred, both in the neighborhood and at school, it is important to give a good understanding of sexual harassment and how to avoid it. In response to this, the community service team needs to provide counseling about violence that occurs to children, how to communicate well with children, how to learn language in children, and the importance of conveying reproductive health to children properly. So that this socialization activity has a major role to prevent and provide knowledge and understanding of toilet training, personal areas, and sexual violence so as to prevent sexual harassment. The method used is socialization and documentation, this socialization activity was carried out on Friday, 18 January 2019 and took place in the village of Jagoi Babang. A facilitator must be very careful in the process of socialization, given the very heterogeneous conditions of the community, both the level of education, character, acceptance and understanding of the community. Socialization that is carried out to prevent sexual abuse especially in the area of private organs (sensitive areas) of the body is an important thing that should have been introduced to children from an early age. This is the duty of parents to be able to convey this information in good language and easily understood by children, because of the rampant incidence of sexual abuse, especially in children, whether boys or girls</em>.

ABSTRAK               Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk menambah pengetahuan ibu-ibu di Desa Ulee Pulo, Kabupaten Aceh Utara, Indonesia tentang teknik pengolahan hasil budidaya tambak yaitu ikan bandeng yang diolah menjadi kerupuk bawang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode survei dan sosialisasi langsung. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri dari penentuan lokasi dan kelompok, persiapan bahan dan alat, pengolahan dan uji organoleptik (skoring). Komponen uji organoleptik terdiri dari rasa, aroma, tekstur, warna dan gurih. Panelis yang memberikan penilaian uji organoleptik meliputi perangkat desa, dosen, dan masyarakat sebanyak 25 panelis. Kuisioner digunakan untuk melihat tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi secara langsung pelatihan ini telah meningkatkan pengetahuan perempuan kelompok Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dalam mengolah bandeng menjadi kerupuk bawang. Selain itu, nilai tambah bandeng bisa meningkat terutama saat panen melimpah. Hasil uji organoleptik skoring menunjukkan bahwa nilai skoring warna 5 (coklat kekuningan), aroma 4,3 (aroma khas bandeng), tekstur 5 (renyah), rasa asin 5 (asin ideal), rasa gurih 4,6 (gurih).   Kata kunci; Bandeng, kerupuk bawang, pemberdayaan perempuan ABSTRACT The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of women in the village of Ulee Pulo, North Aceh Regency, Indonesia about processing techniques of pond cultivation products, namely milkfish onion crackers. This community service activity used a survey method and direct outreach. The survey consisted of determining the location and the group, while the outreach consisted of preparing materials and tools, processing, and organoleptic testing (scoring test). The components of the organoleptic test consisted of taste, odor, shape, color, and savory. Panelists who gave organoleptic test assessments included village apparatus, lecturers, and the community with a total of 25 panelists. Questionnaires were used to see the level of success of the activity. The observation results of the activity, it is known that this activity can improve the knowledge of women in family welfare empowerment group (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga/PKK) in processing milkfish into onion crackers. Also, the added value of milkfish can increase especially when the harvest is abundant. Organoleptic test results showed that color score 5(Yellow-brown), odor 4,3 (the scent of milkfish), tekstur 5 (crunchy), salty taste 5 (salty ideal), savory taste 4,6 (tasty). Keyword : milkfish, onion crackers, women empowerment

<p><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong>: <em>This community service aims to provide counseling on solution to develop students language skills. The language skills must be development from an early age. Throught this activity, students can practice cognitive, affective, and psycomotorik development. Lack of interest in reading students so that it affects writing productivity can be said to be very less.</em><em> </em><em>This activity is very well done in the environment.</em><em> </em><em>It also can broaden students' insights, another benefit that can be taken in this activity is that it can improve their language skill. These effective reading and creative writing activities involve school-age students at Cawang Baru 1 High School.</em><em> </em><em>In this counseling and community service program, it will focus on training activities in effective reading and creative writing.</em><em> </em><em>By giving direction and socialization, it is hoped that (1) students will increase understanding in receiving information, (2) will foster students' confidence in conveying the information they can, (3) improve their language skills in a bigger forum, (4 ) gave birth to a creative generation in producing works through language.</em><em> </em><em>This community service program is also expected to be able to contribute in efforts to develop students' language skills as a future generation</em></p><p><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan bagaimana solusi  mengembangkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam berbahasa. Keterampilan berbahasa harus dikembangkan sejak dini. Melalui kegiatan ini peserta didik dapat melatih perkembangan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Kurangnya minat membaca peserta didik sehingga memengaruhi produktivitas menulis dapat dikatakan sangat kurang. Kegiatan ini sangat baik dilakukan di lingkungan tersebut. Selain itu juga dapat menambah wawasan peserta didik, manfaat lain yang bisa diambil dalam kegiatan ini yaitu dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa mereka. Kegiatan membaca efektif dan menulis kreatif ini melibatkan peserta didik usia sekolah yang dilakukan di SMA 1 Cawang Baru. Pada program penyuluhan dan pengabdian masyarakat ini, akan berfokus pada kegiatan pelatihan membaca efektif dan menulis kreatif. Dengan diberikan pengarahan dan sosialisasi, diharapkan (1) akan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik dalam menerima informasi, (2) akan menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri peserta didik untuk menyampaikan informasi yang mereka dapat, (3) meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa merekadi forum yang lebih besar, (4) melahirkan generasi yang kreatif dalam menghasilkan karya melalui bahasa. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini juga diharapkan mampu memberi kontribusi dalam upaya pengembangan keterampilan berbahasa peserta didik sebagai generasi di masa depan.</p>

Empowerment of Family Welfare or often abbreviated as PKK is a movement that has been built from the center to the village and its existence and benefits have been felt by the community. This PKK activity is reflected in the 10 PKK Principal Programs, one of which is focused on health and attention specifically aimed at maternal and child health. So that an Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) was formed consisting of trained Posyandu cadres. These trained Posyandu cadres are not only seen from the way they handle maternal and child health but also must be supported by their ability to use computers in the process of recording and data collection. However, not all PKK and Posyandu Cadres, especially in villages, are adept at using computers, for example, PKK Cadres and Patikraja Village Posyandu. In fact, many cadres are new to computers and cannot use standard programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. The goal of this community service program is to improve the capabilities and competencies of PKK Cadres and Patikraja Village Posyandu in operating computers to support good and smooth performance in terms of administration and data collection. Based on the results of the evaluation it was seen that PKK cadres and the Patikraja Village Posyandu attended the training with great enthusiasm and they were able to practice the material very well.

Tumbuhan eceng gondok yang menyebar hampir ke seluruh embung atau perairan Kayu Tanduak mengakibatkan para petani di masyarakat sepenulisr kekurangan atau kehilangan air, sehingga eceng gondok menghambat aliran irigasi sawah dan ladang. Masalah pertumbuhan eceng gondok yang pesat ini  memberikan dampak langsung kepada pendapatan hasil panen baik ladang atau sawah yang berkurang. Program Pengabdian bagi Masyarakat ini mempunyai tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat sasaran  tentang pengolahan eceng gondok menjadi biogas. Masyarakat yang menjadi sasaran pada kegiatan ini adalah Ibu-Ibu PKK Jorong Kayu Tanduak pada khususnya dan masyarakat sepenulisr Jorong Kayu Tanduak. Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan pengabdian ini adalah (1) sosialisasi tentang pengolahan eceng gondok menjadi biogas, (2) pelatihan pembuatan alat biogas dari eceng gondok, (3) melakukan penyebaran kuisioner sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan tentang pengetahuan tentang pembuatan alat biogas dari eceng gondok. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif kepada Ibu-Ibu PKK ini antara lain : (1) Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pengolahan eceng gondok menjadi biogas yang diketahui dari hasil penyebaran angket sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, (2) tersebarnya informasi tentang pemanfaatan eceng gondok menjadi biogas dari jorong Kayu Tanduak Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Kata kunci: Eceng Gondok, Biogas, Jorong Kayu Tanduak ABSTRACT The plant of water hyacinth which spread throughout reservoir or water pool in Kayu Tanduk has made the farmers surrounding become lack or loss of water. Water hyacinth has also affected the flow of irrigation for rice fields and fields.  The rapid growth problem of water hyacinth gives direct impact to the farmers harvest income in the rice fileds and fields. This community service program (PKM) is purposed to increase the knowledge and craftsmanship for villagers and society about how to process water hyacinth into biogas.The main target community in this program is the mothers of empowering family welfare group (PKK) at Kayu Tanduak and the society of its surrounding. The methods used in this program are 1) socialization to society how to process it,2) giving training to society how to make biogas tools,3) distributing the questionnaires to society in order to see how far their undesrstanding about the water hyacinth process into biogas before training and after training.This activity give positive impacts to the mothers of empowering family welfare (PKK), they are: 1) there is an increasing of their knowledge and craftsmanship about how to process water hyacinth into biogas. It can be seen from the result of the questionnaires before and after training. 2) The spread information to society about the utilizing water hyacinth process into biogas is increased especially in the village of Kayu Tanduk Tanah Datar. These community service activities are carried out in the Tahunan Village, Sale District, Rembang. The existence of arts groups in the village still requires assistance from human resource such as trainer. Therefore, this service aims to 1) strengthen the position of the arts group to be more empowered; 2) increasing the number of group members from young people; 3) improve the skills of group members in musical, orchestrating, and dancing; and 4) increase the income of group members. The method used in this community service program is training and mentoring. The results of this program are: 1) The arts group already has a name and routinely conducts meetings and training activities; 2) members of group from the school age and young adults are increasing; 3) the art group is known outside the Sale District and gets a performance offer.

The Village

Petalongan Village is one of the villages in Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, which is still left behind. This village has rivers, lakes, and cultural traditions for economic or tourism development. People still do not realize the importance of managing this ecosystem. Therefore, the purpose of this service activity is to change people's behavior in managing and utilizing nature, traditions and culture to improve the community's economy. The targets of this activity are the managers of Village-Owned Enterprises and Women Empowerment of Family Welfare. The service methods carried out started from the socio-economic mapping, counseling, FGD, and mentoring. This community service activity has mapped the economic potential of the village on a lake-based basis. Counseling and FGDs regarding problems in Petalongan Village have contributed to increasing public awareness. Extension activities focused on using the lake for the cultivation of catfish and tilapia. Besides that, training on tourism awareness and UMKM needs to be carried out immediately in order to increase understanding, attitudes and the ability of the community in utilizing the wealth of natural resources in this village. This counseling has a positive impact so that people want to immediately cultivate fish and use the lake for tourism to increase the community’s economic income.

One of the subjects that requires planting concepts from an early age is mathematics. At school age, especially grade 3 students, the student's age has reached 9 to 10 years. Students at that age, among others, are happy with activity exercises and are happy with activities in the form of competitions. Based on this, learning should be packaged in the form of activities. At the elementary level, one of the materials that is the problem for students is multiplication and division. This material is basic in mathematics but it is often found that there are junior high school students who do not know the results of multiplication under 10. Jarimatika is a method for teaching addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to students, especially at the elementary level. Jarimatika is an abbreviation of finger and arithmetic. As the name implies, the media in this method are the fingers. Based on this community service activity, it can be concluded that the students are enthusiastic and happy with the teaching of multiplication and division with Jarimatika. In addition, students are motivated to answer questions from the teacher.

This community service activity was carried out on the youth of Harapan Baru Village, Sei Lepan District, Langkat Regency. This activity is in the form of a workshop or training which is carried out with socialization by providing materials or modules on tips for successful investing, especially at a young age in village youth. So it is hoped that the partners have a good understanding of investing even in the village. Then the targets to be achieved through this service activity are (1) partners know what the first step is to invest, especially in rural areas, (2) partners can classify which investments have a high level of failure risk, (3) partners have awareness the importance of investing even though they are still at a young age.
