The Village

Petalongan Village is one of the villages in Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, which is still left behind. This village has rivers, lakes, and cultural traditions for economic or tourism development. People still do not realize the importance of managing this ecosystem. Therefore, the purpose of this service activity is to change people's behavior in managing and utilizing nature, traditions and culture to improve the community's economy. The targets of this activity are the managers of Village-Owned Enterprises and Women Empowerment of Family Welfare. The service methods carried out started from the socio-economic mapping, counseling, FGD, and mentoring. This community service activity has mapped the economic potential of the village on a lake-based basis. Counseling and FGDs regarding problems in Petalongan Village have contributed to increasing public awareness. Extension activities focused on using the lake for the cultivation of catfish and tilapia. Besides that, training on tourism awareness and UMKM needs to be carried out immediately in order to increase understanding, attitudes and the ability of the community in utilizing the wealth of natural resources in this village. This counseling has a positive impact so that people want to immediately cultivate fish and use the lake for tourism to increase the community’s economic income.

ABSTRAK               Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk menambah pengetahuan ibu-ibu di Desa Ulee Pulo, Kabupaten Aceh Utara, Indonesia tentang teknik pengolahan hasil budidaya tambak yaitu ikan bandeng yang diolah menjadi kerupuk bawang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode survei dan sosialisasi langsung. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri dari penentuan lokasi dan kelompok, persiapan bahan dan alat, pengolahan dan uji organoleptik (skoring). Komponen uji organoleptik terdiri dari rasa, aroma, tekstur, warna dan gurih. Panelis yang memberikan penilaian uji organoleptik meliputi perangkat desa, dosen, dan masyarakat sebanyak 25 panelis. Kuisioner digunakan untuk melihat tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi secara langsung pelatihan ini telah meningkatkan pengetahuan perempuan kelompok Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dalam mengolah bandeng menjadi kerupuk bawang. Selain itu, nilai tambah bandeng bisa meningkat terutama saat panen melimpah. Hasil uji organoleptik skoring menunjukkan bahwa nilai skoring warna 5 (coklat kekuningan), aroma 4,3 (aroma khas bandeng), tekstur 5 (renyah), rasa asin 5 (asin ideal), rasa gurih 4,6 (gurih).   Kata kunci; Bandeng, kerupuk bawang, pemberdayaan perempuan ABSTRACT The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of women in the village of Ulee Pulo, North Aceh Regency, Indonesia about processing techniques of pond cultivation products, namely milkfish onion crackers. This community service activity used a survey method and direct outreach. The survey consisted of determining the location and the group, while the outreach consisted of preparing materials and tools, processing, and organoleptic testing (scoring test). The components of the organoleptic test consisted of taste, odor, shape, color, and savory. Panelists who gave organoleptic test assessments included village apparatus, lecturers, and the community with a total of 25 panelists. Questionnaires were used to see the level of success of the activity. The observation results of the activity, it is known that this activity can improve the knowledge of women in family welfare empowerment group (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga/PKK) in processing milkfish into onion crackers. Also, the added value of milkfish can increase especially when the harvest is abundant. Organoleptic test results showed that color score 5(Yellow-brown), odor 4,3 (the scent of milkfish), tekstur 5 (crunchy), salty taste 5 (salty ideal), savory taste 4,6 (tasty). Keyword : milkfish, onion crackers, women empowerment

The Village

Waste is a problem that must be faced by residential communities both in urban and rural settlements, so it needs to be systematically structured and sustainable. Conventional waste handling that has been implemented by the community cannot produce an appropriate solution, this is evident that there is still a large volume of waste that has not been managed properly. The purpose of implementing community service activities in the village of Sedapurklagen in Benjeng Gresik is to utilize household waste through compoter and biopori as well as the application of Biopori to treat household waste that can also reduce waterlogging during rain. The implementation method is used so that the purpose of this service activity is to empower the community about managing household waste to be composted through composter, as well as training on composting from composter and biopori. The target of this activity is the mothers of family welfare coaching (PKK) in the village of Sedapurklagen, Benjeng Gresik. The result of this service is that the community has begun to process organic waste to make compost and million biopori pipes around the Posapur, Sedapurklagen Gresik to reduce the presence of standing water during the rainy season.

The development of the website at this time has grown so fast due to the development of the internet infrastructure which is quite rapid. This has resulted in many industry players, educational institutions, health institutions and others using websites and other online-based applications as business and information delivery. The village government does not want to be left behind in providing excellent service to its citizens by providing information on the media website. The community service carried out introduced Balongsari Village as a tourist village with the target of promoting economic, social and cultural activities. The method used is in the form of counseling and website creation training. The continuity of this community service activity is in the form of a website created that is followed up by being managed by the local government to be used as a promotional media.

ABSTRAKKebersihan lingkungan merupakan pintu gerbang dalam mencapai hidup yang sehat. Kesadaran tentang pengetahuan hidup bersih dan sehat sangat penting dan sehat sangat penting bagi masyarakat yang ada diperkotaan maupun  pedesaan. Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan di desa mambulilling masih sangat rendah diamati dari sampah yang berserakan dilingkungan serta tidak tersedianya tempat sampah dirumah maupun ditempat umum. Dengan adanya program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya serta mengajarkan membuat tempat sampah dari bambu dengan memamfaatkan sumber daya alam yaitu bambu. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dalam penyampainnya menggunakan metode diskusi, penyuluhan dan aksi lapangan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini yaitu bertambahnya wawasan masyarakat mengenai manfaat dan dampak-dampak buruk dari membuang sampah sembarangan sehingga masyarakat mulai berkomunikasi untuk menjaga tempat tinggal mereka. Sampah merupakan bagian dari kehidupan manusia. Sampah adalah benda/zat sisa yang sudah tidak terpakai. Seharusnya sampah mendapat perhatian dan penanganan yang serius. Namun karena kurangnya pengertian masyarakat desa mambulilling dan pemerintah, setempat, juga kurangnya biaya dan pendapatan sebagian besar masyarakat desa mambulilling, maka masalah sampah ini menjadi terabaikan. Saat ini sebagian masyarakat telah mengetahui dampak buruk sampah, antara lain menyebakan banjir, penyakit dan bau yang dapat mengganggu kehidupan, tapi hal ini tidak diimbangi oleh perilaku masyarakatnya sendiri. Kata kunci: sehat; bersih; sampah. ABSTRACTEnvironmental cleanliness is the gateway to achieving a healthy life. Awareness of the knowledge of clean and healthy living is very important and very important for people in urban and rural areas. The lack of public awareness to maintain environmental cleanliness in the village of Mambulilling is still very low, observed from the garbage scattered around the environment and the unavailability of trash bins at home or in public places. With this community service program, it aims to increase knowledge and increase public awareness to dispose of waste in its place and teach how to make bamboo trash cans by utilizing natural resources, namely bamboo. In its delivery, this community service activity uses the method of discussion, counseling and field action. The result of this service is increasing public insight about the benefits and bad effects of littering so that people begin to communicate to protect their place of residence. Garbage is a part of human life. Garbage is an unused waste object / substance. Garbage should get serious attention and handling. However, due to the lack of understanding of the Mambulilling village community and the local government, as well as the lack of funds and income for most of the Mambulilling village community, this waste problem has been neglected. Currently, some people are aware of the bad effects of waste, including flooding, disease and odors that can disrupt life, but this is not offset by the behavior of the community itself. Key words: healthy; clean; trash.

Community growth and rapid technological development not only have a positive impact on life but also have a negative impact. The problem today is the decrease of public awareness in reading and writing Al Qur'an, reading literacy culture from an early age, and the importance of having skills of handicraft and participating in extracurricular activities also preserving the environment. This community service activity aims to maintain and re-grow the reading literacy culture, the penchant for reading and writing Al Qur'an, having skills of handicraft, taking extracurricular activities and protecting the environment. To instill this personality, a long period of time is needed so it must be done as early as possible. The targets in this community service are early childhood and society. These activities were held in May to June 2017 in several places by conducting education and mentoring. The participants have given a positive response with high enthusiasm. This community service still needs to be carried out similar activities continuously to get personality according to these goals.

ABSTRAKPandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi saat ini beberapa waktu yang lalu menyebabkan kelangkaan hand sanitizer dipasaran, hal ini membuat resah sebagian masyarakat. Pembuatan hand sanitizer yang dibuat dengan komposisi yang kurang tepat maka efektivitas hand sanitizer dalam membunuh bakteri dan virus tentunya akan berkurang. Pemanfaatan bahan alam sebagai bahan alternatif dalam pembuatan hand sanitizer. Diketahui  beberapa tanaman yang memiliki kemampuan daya hambat terhadap bakteri yang bisa digunakan sebagai zat aktif maupun zat tambahan di dalam produksi hand sanitizer salah satunya adalah lidah buaya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah menghasilkan suatu produk kesehatan yang dapat dimanfaatkan baik untuk diri sendiri, keluarga dan masyarakat sekitar dalam rangka untuk mencegah penyebaran virus Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dengan memberi penjelasan kegunaan dan keunggulan sediaan hand sanitizer yang terbuat dari bahan alami yaitu lidah buaya (Aloe vera) melalui video dan pamflet. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dinilai dapat memberikan dampak positif kepada masyarakat Desa tambakbaya, Kecamatan Cisurupan, Kabupaten Garut dilihat dari antusiasme masyarakat Desa dalam menerima pamflet dan video sebagai sumber informasi yang sangat bermanfaat bagi mereka dalam membuat hand sanitizer berbahan dasar alami (Aloe vera) sehingga bisa dirasakan manfaatnya. Kerjasama antara kepala Desa dan aparatur Desa harus terus ditingkatkan agar dampak positif dapat menjadi dampak berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Hand sanitizer, antiseptik alami, aloe vera, pencegahan virus corona  ABSTRACTThe Covid-19 pandemic that occurred some time ago caused the scarcity of hand sanitizers in the market, this made some people nervous. Making hand sanitizers that are made with inappropriate compositions will reduce the effectiveness of hand sanitizers in killing bacteria and viruses. Utilization of natural materials as alternative materials in making hand sanitizers. It is known that several plants can inhibit bacteria which can be used as active substances or additives in the production of hand sanitizers, one of which is aloe vera. The purpose of this service activity is to produce a health product that can be used for both yourself, your family, and the surrounding community to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The method used is to explain the uses and advantages of hand sanitizer preparations made from natural ingredients, namely aloe vera (Aloe vera) through videos and pamphlets. The results of this community service activity are considered to have a positive impact on the people of Tambakbaya Village, Cisurupan District, Garut Regency, seen from the enthusiasm of the Village community in receiving pamphlets and videos as a source of information that is very useful for them in making hand sanitizers made from natural ingredients (Aloe vera) so that the benefits can be felt. AbstractThis community service activity, which is packaged in the form of mentoring, aims to assist stakeholders in Sugihwaras village, Prambon sub-district, Nganjuk Regency to synergize with each other in handling the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, this assistance aims to provide a model of distribution of assistance that meets basic human needs following the Dharurriyatul Khams concept in Maqashid Syariah. These basic needs include the protection of religion, soul, mind, lineage, and property. Community service has increased public awareness regarding the importance of synergy between stakeholders during the pandemic and understanding the types of assistance that must be prioritized referring to the maqashid sharia concept. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memenuhi kewajiban dosen untuk melakukan tridharma perguruan tinggi. The ideology of radical-terrorism is an interesting remark to be understood by the Karangduren Klaten village community as an effort in preventing the entry value that is against the ideology of Pancasila. The supreme divinity value of Pancasila ideology one in the reform era has been challenged by the wave of globalization on information. Socialization on the divinity values aims to stimulate public awareness on the threat of radical ideology of terrorism that potentially grow and develop in the village of Karangduren, Kebonarum, Klaten. This study covers the fields of nationalism and identity with the preaching method and focus of discussion. The Ideology of divinity axiologically and epistemologically comprising of divinity, humanity, unity, democratic and justice values which need to be delivered through specific form of communication which can be adjusted to community’s life in the village of Karangduren. Language as a tool in which various information can be accessed by people living in both rural and urban transition strongly influenced by factors of traditional cultural practices that are still upheld in dealing with modernity. The current actual discourse of terrorism needs to be understood and useful as countering radicalism through familiarization the noble values exemplifications as deeply held by the community leaders and the local youth movement ‘Karangtaruna; through the use of appropriate language on the context of Karangduren citizens.

<em>Family planning is an increase in community awareness and participation through maturing the age of marriage, birth control, fostering family resilience, increasing family welfare to create a small, happy and prosperous family. Belawan II Village, Medan Belawan District, where most of the population lives as fishermen and laborers with a medium economic level, very dense population settlements, surrounded by wide beaches and lack of public awareness and knowledge about family planning to make family planning coverage in the village. This is still low, namely 40% of the total couples of childbearing age. From the results of the observations of the puskesmas in accordance with the indicators of healthy families, it was found that the family index value based on families participating in the family planning program was 33%. The intervention carried out to overcome this problem was to provide counseling about family planning, distribution of posters and installation of banners as a form of family planning campaign. Counseling was carried out to 73 heads of families. All the families who attended were very enthusiastic about participating in the counseling. The distribution of posters and banners is done to serve as a reminder to the public about the importance of family planning. The results of the evaluation of this activity indicate a change in public knowledge about family planning.</em>
