A key preschooler activity is playtime. When the children play, assistance is needed. The role of mothers in children’s development is very important, particularly with regards to the provision of appropriate games based on the child’s age. However, this is more difficult for working mothers as their time and ability to monitor their children’s development is more limited. This study aims to determine the role of working mothers with regards to play assistance and game selection in pre-school children. The study used a quantitative correlation design. The population and sample in this study were 81 mothers working in the Bandung Advent Hospital with pre-school age children (3-6 years), and a purposive sampling method was used. Data collection consisted of a questionnaire with 12 statements for the assistance element and 10 statements for the game choice element. The data was analyzed by using univariate and bevariat analysis. The findings demonstrate that the role of mothers in children playing assistance is adequate and they generally choose games that are suitable for pre-school age children (72.8%). Moreover, there was no significant relationship between the role of working mothers in play-assistance and choosing toys in pre-school children with pValue> 0.05. Keywords: Role of working mothers, pre-school age children, play accompaniment

This study aims to find out the phenomenon of Indonesian language in learners, how the views of reconstructionism and the role of communicative methods in developing language skills in learners. The research method that I use is qualitative research method. Descriptive qualitative research method is done by technique. The results of this study, namely learners are still difficult to use the Indonesian language is good and true in the formal situation. This can not be separated from the acquisition and learning of language obtained by previous learners. Based on the theory of reconstructionism and communicative methods, learners can acquire and use a language well if the language is often used or communicative. This implies that a person can build the language skills of the experiences he / she obtains, meaning that learners should often experience or use the language. The role of the communicative method itself, which is to improve or develop the language skills of learners. The role of schools and teachers is to encourage children to use these languages by creating specific situations (communicative situations) so that the language skills of learners develop well, be it Indonesian-speaking or foreign languages.

For years mothers had been doing a full time job of upbringing their children and addressing their basic needs. However, the present scenario is such that it is not feasible to make a living with just one person’s earnings. Hence, women set out to support their family and the children are taken care of by the secondary caregivers. A number of research studies have revealed that the majority of children suffer from mild to moderate behavioural problems during the early developmental stages. Keeping these changing patterns in mind, the researcher conducted a comparative study at Race Course, Dehradun to assess the behavioural problems of children among working and non-working mothers. The main objectives of the study were to assess the Behavioural problems of children among working and non-working mothers and compare the Behavioural problems of children between working and non-working mothers. Data was collected from 60 working and 60 non-working mothers with the help of non-probability purposive sampling techniques. A structured Child Behaviour Assessment Scale was developed to collect the data from the mothers of children aged 4-12 years. Reliability of the tool was found to be 0.7. The study results revealed that 60% of working mothers reported Borderline Behaviour in their children. Abnormal behaviour consisting of hyperactivity, bad habits and social problems etc. were reported by 15% of working mothers. Children among non-working mothers reported higher levels of anxiety, and conduct problems. Significant association was found between Behavioural problems of children among working mothers and type of family, number of children, age of the child, and gender of the child. Behavioural problems in childhood may lead to limited functional capabilities in children and more serious problems in adulthood. Nurses can play a major role in diminishing Behavioral problems by providing guidance and counselling for the children and their mothers. The focus should be on addressing the emotional needs of the children during the early stages of development.

This is where the role of Shariah Financial Institutions with principal-sharing financing is desirable. Observing such phenomena needs to be examined on several issues; first, the implementation of financing at Syari'ah Financial Institutions in Sumbawa which is considered ideal for micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM).
